Hey you guys there, wanna try the best marathi food in town?? You shouldn’t miss the brand new outlet “MULUKH” serving mouth watering marathi cuisine. I went with group of my friends since we wanted to taste newly opened marathi outlet. So we started with “SOULKADI”, I have never tasted it before but trust me it was so refreshing and flavourful that we ended up having 2-2 glasses each. Then, we ordered Thali both veg and non veg. We loved the concept of thali, and how it gave a customary look. They serve the best chicken and we never had so soft mutton and also chicken keema is definitely something not to be missed when you visit here. Not to forget the flavourful Biryani, i promise you would want it more and more. It was the best biryani i had in pune in my 5 years of college. Moreover, the ambience is so alluring and traditional. I loved the place, the food, the service. The waiters were so gentle and with such a quick service. We loved the way they greeted us. Now the best part is always the meetha and for meetha we had mouth watering gulab jamuns. I so loved visiting the place that I’m gonna vist here again as soon as possible. I truly had a wonderful experience and this place is a must visit for everyone if you’re looking forward to have marathi food.

Excellence in their usp of maratha cuisine and an upper hand in serving their best dishes prepared with delicacy and a lot of pamper. Started our dinner with crispy hot kanda bhajia and refreshing spiced soulkadi. Yet the ultimate part to not miss at Mulukh is their special maratha Thali. They have got designated separate thalis for veg, chicken, and mutton. We were visiting in a group so there were people with different preferences of food. Luckily we got to try each one of them, being a non veg lover I was much inclined towards the non veg one yet veg was good too, with descent amount of vaati having alloo ki sabzi, and masoor ki dal. Every thali had spicy rassa where you can ask them to customize the spicyness according to the preferences and dahi kanda along with the speciality served and everyone's favourite gulab jamun. You can choose from chapati or bajre ki roti. Coming to the much awaited and the best part of our dinner, was the meat. Both chicken and mutton thali had chicken and mutton curry with chicken and mutton keema respectively and no doubt at was sensational, the spices added with the consistency of the gravy to the aroma and deliciousness in every bite could leave anyone want for more n more. Meats were cooked to perfection with soft and juicy textures which was easily pulling off the bones. Loved it totally. How could we forget the biryani, so indriani or jeera rice gets served alongside thali yet why go for sober options when you can have mutton biryani. The biryani was totally mind boggling with flavorful long grain super aromatic rice with soft chunks of well spiced mutton. And was totally worth ever penny. Talking of penny I was totally surprised with their aggressive pricing of the menu where veg thali was just for 225/- chicken one was around 325/- and mutton was around 350/- which i believe is a great pocket friendly option for a thali which is more than enough for two people.

Looking for authentic Maharashtrian food ? Newly opened place to try out "Marathi Jevan". 1) We tried few Thalis (Veg / NonVeg) from Mulukh. 2) Only few places in Pune with quality Thalis with variety of options. And this is one of them. 3) I personally loved the service a lot, very friendly staff and management. 4) Not so fancy ambiance but it's a unique, liked the colors and furniture. 5) If you are looking for family place in and around Pune City or Deccan side this is perfect location. 6) We tried Veg, Chicken, Mutton, Kheema Thali, and I personally loved the Chicken and Kheema thali a lot. . New kid on the block and what amazing experience 🤘 JM road has all kinds of places to eat with so many legendary places here, but there was always something missing and now with Mulukh that has been taken care of. Brilliant Maharashtrian food both veg and non veg and to match the food there is great ambience and a fine dine kind of feel which doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. It's priced pretty competitively and totally value for money. Home made styled cooking techniques and a simple and humble chef (who we had a chance to meet and talk with). The owners of the place too were there and with them also quite a long discussion was done regarding the thought behind this location and choice of this cuisine and the menu and pricing. Very passionate team behind this new restaurant @Mulukh and I am sure with the kind of food being served here they are going to do well for sure. The service is attentive and the whole experience thoroughly satisfying. Visited this place with my parents & I instantly loved the simplicity & the range of dishes they had to offer! We tried three thalis : Special Chicken Thaali Loved the quantity of this thaali which is perfect for one person! The flavours of Pandhra Rassa is just perfect! And the overall thaali is highly recommended! Mutton Thaali The mutton was properly cooked with the masalas blended in it so aptly! Great choice for a mutton lover! Veg Thaali This had so much variety! Loved the Vangyacha Bharit & Varan! Truly has home-cooked food taste 😋 Ended the meal with Kharwas and I absolutely loved its consistency and subtle flavour 😍

Bas issi ki kami thi JM road pe. When you talk about restaurants on J M road.. all you will think is about pure veg restaurants. This breaks the stereotype. Chose mutton thali, chicken thali, veg thali or the ala carte menu.. you gonna love everything.. This blast of flavours thali made a special place in my heart

Being on the busiest road, Mulukh serves one of the finest Mutton thali. Pandhara rassa was very good and even the alani soup was good. Staff is polite and service is excellent. They serve unlimited rice, which is almost similar to indrayani rice.

Awesome Maharashtrian taste with some place for improvement. The main ingredients, tambada-padhara rassa and chicken gravy are as good as something you'll get in local Kolhapuri street restaurant. I'll call which authentic. The pandhara rassa is truly mouthwatering. However the chicken quality could be improved which we may get in gawran but it wasn't available when we visited. Solkadhi is inhouse and it's bad! You have to go through a narrow space to reach the restaurant and ambience is quite okayish. Staff is polite and professional.

Lovely.. Great place.. Actually We have not decided to go here.. when we are in pune we are searching for a good place for dinner and we are roaming on roads.. and we attracted towards here because of their catchy desi name outside.. as their attractive name theirs service also attracted us to visit here again. Ambiance- sweet simple and yet classy ambiance.. comfortable sittings. They have nice swing outside near entrance. So overall is nice Staff- every staff there is so nice to us.. very polite. So much attentive. We are treated like we are guest in their home. Quick service. My 3 stars for their service only Food- its a authentic Maharashtrian menu. Like The simplest meal available to every Maharashtrian at home. That's a homely feeling you will get here. You were great host Definitely going to visit again.

We have ordered and visited Mulukh quite a few times. We generally have a decent experience. But our recent visit really left us really irritated. We ordered our usual dishes which were the chicken Sukha and the chicken handi. The manager took our order and then sent out the chicken sukha and a chicken malwani instead of the chicken handi. When we asked him which dish had he sent out, he outright lied to us and said that the dish he had given us was the chicken handi, just that he had given the rasa separately to us. When we told him we were regulars and we knew that he had given us the malwani instead of the handi, he owned up and told us that he took a unilateral decision to send us the malwani because it would “pair better” with the sukha. We understand a mistake can be made. But then to lie to your customers to make up for that mistake isn’t right. We like the food, but it was a very disappointing experience overall.

Very tasty food, specially the Mutton thali. Mutton was fresh and perfectly cooked. Pandhara rassa too good. Staff is polite and service is excellent.

BEST place for maharashtrian authentic cuisine! The server was very helpful and suggested some lip-smacking dishes which included sookha mutton, mutton handi and mutton papad. Chicken alani fry was also noteworthy. All in all, a flavoursome experience at this traditional restaurant.

Not sure of why have people rated it so high.<br/>We had ordered a veg thali . First and foremost we were not hungry so my husband and I shared the thali . The waiter comes and says that we cannot share the thali. What is the problem if we share a limited thali , if it was unlimited we could have still understood.<br/>The chapati and bhakri was very hard , the bharla baingan was the only tasty sabji in it.<br/>Hospitality is very bad.<br/>Finally they gave us only one finger bowl considering that we had only one thali. This is the verge of cheapness they showed.<br/>Very unhappy

Located on JM road, next to Sambhaji park. Ambience is excellent with comfortable sitting arrangements. At the start, they serve Jaggery with roasted peanuts complimentary.<br/>Great combination to try before getting our order.<br/>Chicken Thali was good, Pandhara rassa was special mention. Tambda rassa was equally good. Jwari bhakri was soft & hot.

Featuring Special Chicken Thali. Priced at Rs. 335, this thali consists of chicken rassa, pandhara rassa, keema and chicken sukka. Chicken rassa and pandhara rassa were absolute bliss for the taste buds. Although pandhara rassa was little mellow in terms of taste, it didn't lack the flavors of chicken broth. One thing which I found that needs to be improved was the chicken sukka. It was very dry from inside and should have been cooked more. Keema was nice and so was the quality of chapati.<br/><br/>The service is good and the staff is also very polite. They will look after you and make sure that you get a good service.<br/><br/>And the ambiance is also good. It certainly feels like you are sitting in an authentic Maharashtrian restaurant.<br/><br/>P.S. They serve rice unlimited and the rice was absolutely amazing. Soft, fragrant and full of flavors. Don't miss this one.

The chicken masala papad was a delight and the clear winner. The chicken fry came is a dry-ish masala. The chicken was overdone, but tasty. The Mutton masala was tasty, well cooked mutton and a fabulous portion size. The bhakris and chapatis were good. The kharvas was a complete and total disappointment. It tasted like sweetened cottage cheese.

Mulukh is a typical maharastrian word which means Region. This restaurant is situated at the heart of city i.e on JM road. The restaurant is specially famous for its authentic solapuri style non veg food and also they have veg dishes.<br/><br/>FOOD:<br/><br/>There we had kombadi Vade and chicken thali. They serve shengdana and gul as a complementary dish at start.<br/><br/>1. KOMBADI VADE: It's is mixture of various types of flour like rice, wheat and ragi, turmeric , jowar etc. It specially taste good along with malvani curry and also with any veg or non ver curry.<br/><br/>2. CHICKEN THALI: It consist of rassa , pandhara rassa, 2 chapati or 1 bhakari and 4-5 dry masala chicken pieces.<br/>The pandhara rassa is the best of best till now I had ever. It has the typical flavour of lavang which makes it's stand apart from others.<br/>The rassa was also having the typical gavaran taste which is mostly found in villages. This also make the restaurant unique for its style. Both the pandhara rassa n rassa u can have multiple time.<br/>The marinated chicken pieces was also good.<br/><br/>AMBIENCE AND MUSIC:<br/>The restaurant has a good rajwada type ambience. Mulukh is a word comes from old marathi origin and its means area. For non veg food this is a best option in pune. We ordered chicken thali and it contains two chapati, chicken fry, rassa and pandhra rassa.<br/>1. RASSA : this was in a awesome taste. Its taste is best which comes in pashim area of maharashtra.<br/>2. PANDHRA RASSA : This is a best best pandhra rassa I tasted ever. it has perfect flavor of lavang and dalchini. Which was a best part in thali<br/>3. CHICKEN FRY : they served five piece in that, and it was also best in taste.<br/>4. CHAPATI : in thali they served 2 chapati and if you prefer bhakari then it will be one. As of chapati was good but I recommend for 3 layer chapati.<br/><br/>Now comes to music and crowd. The food quality is awesome, especially the Kheema and Rassa. The ambience is calm and relaxing. Doesn't feel like it is on the busy street of JM road. The staff is very polite.

If you want to have a good genuine Goat (Bokad) mutton then this is a go to place... For a change, we tried the thecha/kharda mutton and was aptly spicy. Compliment it with the Red (Tambda) rassa and you’ll go ...’mmm<br/>For Thali lovers, this is a slightly different taste compared to the “Non Veg Maharashtrian Thali” wave and it would be good. However if the hotel management can compare other places, for their price point of Spc. Chicken/Mutton Thali, they should give a bit of Fry and Masala gravies. Hopefully this will be available in future along with some Aalni rassa 🙂 to complete the dining experience. 😇

Must visit for their yummylicious mutton Thali !!!!<br/><br/>We visited this place once and it turn out to be paradise for mutton thali.<br/>Chicken thali and mutton thali are their speciality. I tried their mutton thali. The thali has mutton curry, the sukkah mutton, the soup, white rassa, tambada rassa accompanied with bhakari, and indrayani rice.!!! Phew!!! The meat was cooked properly.we also had the chicken thali and to our surprise even this thali didn't disappoint us .Both the thali's were up to the mark, All awesome 10/10. The staff was helpful too.

It was Sunday and wanted to have dinner where I can get nonveg thali. So me and my wife decided to visit this place. It is next to Sapna hotel on JM road.<br/>The first experience was strange that this hotel do not serve cold bisleri 🤔 but they do serve cold chapatis.<br/>We ordered special chicken thali and mutton thali. Mutton thali came with cold chapatis and need to ask for hot ones. In reply the waiter said "oh you need hot chapatis" and I was like we all eat hot food or whether I am the only one. In chicken thali we did got a hair and later we opted not to eat the entire thali. But manager did apologise for the same but we not in mood to eat again. The good part was Solkadi which was served chilled.

It was a weekday when we had gone there. Out of four of us one was a vegetarian. We order a mutton thali, a special mutton thali and a chicken thali. And for veg methi chi bhaji with bhakri. The food quality as to whatever we had ordered was very good. Could have been a little spicy. A must visit to have good non veg food. Also the cutlery was very nice.

Its all about friday from hectic week full of work we usually go out to explore good foods around..Basically I am pure Non Vegterian still we ordered one Veg Thali, 2 Chicken Thali and other my favourite Mutton with Bhakri(Special Mutton Kharada Which is Spicy enough for spice lovers).<br/>I always believe good food always change our mood if we are low or in some kind of tension. It really worked, after having the heavy meal we all were with mind full of happiness and satisfied enough of the delightfull food, Ambience and Customers Service they provided....I strongly recommend this place for foodie lovers who nees to try Marata Food.<br/>One more thing to add dont forget to Kharwas as desert delight over the heavy meal..😋😋😋

Felt like I’m in Kolhapur, we had ordered chicken special thali, the food was fresh, real Kolhapuri taste on chicken masala and that too with enough quantity to full my stomach and my mind. Chicken keema was cherry on the top (I wish Pandhra rassa was little thick) love the atmosphere, and +1 for the service and friendly staff. Good job 👍🏻

Good place for non vegetarian whoever wants to try Maharashtrian food. Service is bit slow however it doesn't matter much as the later part is much enjoyable when the food is served.<br/>Pandhara rassa is a must try item which generally comes with all their thalis and most of the other restaurants which serves non veg thalis don't have this rassa. Mutton is also nicely cooked. Their is a chance of improvement in rice which not upto the par if we're thinking of indrayani rice which is famous for its aroma.<br/><br/>Overall good experience with Mulukh. Happy to try other dishes in next visits.

I heard about this place from one of my friend . So decided to visit today in the afternoon found this place quite good and friendly I ordered special mutton thali with was awesome. The best part was all things was perfect like food , service while having my food I noticed staff is attentive and promt ,after I finished the owner of the restaurant came and ask how was the food it means they rellay care about there clients and it's really appreciated .thank you son much Mr.swapnil kadam. for such a wonderful meal and definitely I will visit this place again.keep it up guys

'अमक्या ठिकाणी उत्तम सातारी मटण मिळतं', हे वाक्य ऐकायला आमचे कान कायम टवकारलेले असतात. त्यामुळे पुण्यात 'मुलुख' सुरू झालेलं आहे हे कळायला काही वेळ लागला नाही.<br/>एक तर मुलुख आहे जे एम रोड ला. त्यामुळे लोकेशन convenient. दुसरं म्हणजे हे कुणी सुरू केलं आहे हे कळल्यावर तर मी मुळातच वाढीव अपेक्षा ठेऊन आत घुसले. साताऱकरांच्या, 'लेक व्ह्यू' ह्या नावाशी रुचकर आठवणी जोडल्या गेल्या आहेत. त्या लेक व्ह्यू च्या मालकांनीच ही मुलुख-मैदानी तोफ आता पुण्यात आणली आहे.<br/>तर आम्ही आत गेलो, आणि ऑर्डर दिली. अर्थात मटण थाळी. खास Mangager साहेबांच्या सल्ल्याने आम्ही चिकन खर्डा आणि चिकन लेग पीस फ्राय ह्या दोन गोष्टी सुद्धा ऑर्डर केल्या. मी ज्या वाढीव अपेक्षा घेऊन आत गेले होते, त्यांची पूर्तता तांबड्या रश्श्याच्या पहिल्या भुरक्यानेच केली. घरची आठवण. पुढचा अर्धा तास कुणीही कुणाशी बोलत नव्हतं. सगळे जण आपापल्या थाळी मध्ये गुंग होऊन गेले होते. दिवस कारणी लागल्याचा फील आला!<br/>Strongly recommended!

This is a new restaurant, so when we visited we are the only customers there. We ordered Chicken masala papad which is pretty good. Then we ordered Alani mutton soup but it to dilute I think they added much water in it. Then we ordered chicken tangadi which is a very good dish. For veg, we ordered normal veg thali it consists of Bharal wang, Vatana bhaji, pithal, varan, and Indrayani rice. All items were pretty good except bharal wang which is expected to be little spice but it was a sweet dish. Then we ordered kharada chicken and chicken masala both were good taste. We also ordered pandhra rassa which is also good.

Decent place. Good staff. Tasty and Healthy (almost no oil) food. I visited during the month of Shravan. They have a few veg and a lot of non veg options. I loved the matki-bhakri. Will visit once again for non veg.

My friends and I often travel to Kolhapur for that authentic Kolhapuri mutton thali… Mulukh offers the same level of authenticity right here in Pune! This restaurant is located on J.M. Road (next to Nike)<br/>The ambience is royal and elegant. You can clearly see the Marathi influence in their décor and seating arrangement. The waiting staff and the servers were extremely polite and prompt… The service was quick, and our server was very attentive.<br/>The food here deserves a separate review of its own. I ordered the SPECIAL MUTTON THALI. The meat was so tender, and it was just an explosion of flavours in my mouth. This place will definitely satisfy your taste buds. Their ‘PAANDHRA RASSA’ is to die for! The owner of the restaurant personally went to all the tables to make sure the guests were served well... If you ask me where do you get authentic Maharashtrian non veg Thali, this place is the answer. The ambience is one of a kind. We had ordered spl chicken thali, pandhra rassa was a substitute to drinking water! Chicken was fresh which most of the places dont have. Great work keep up the same taste!

So better attack before it's too late.<br/>Chicken tangdi and mutton in sukka ( starters) honestly chicken legs sukka was star dish and honestly we ordered again just to lick that well balanced masalas and juicy chicken.<br/>In fact even mutton was tender ans rightly cooked.<br/>For mains we ordered mutton and chicken thali with bhakri and chapati, served with rassa, kheema, sukka, and tup rice.<br/>We also got to taste their chicken kharda and methi lasooni sabzi and trust me guys you would not mind traveling to order this sabzi and forget non veg, we being hardcore non veggie still attacked that devil like no tomorrow..<br/>Tup rice was another dish we went gaga and ended hogging without any sider, it was that crazy.<br/>Overall quick meals, delicately worked on interiors, staffs were on their toe at prompt service, their partners were quite happy to explain the concept behind the dishes like that of peanuts and jaggery to start of the meal and really worth the travel.<br/>It's at JM road main lane itself, Sapna hotel so quite easy to find and do find mulukh for better reach. This new place in town is a total surprise and a gem in the heart of the city for all Pune people. The place where initially there was Sapna thali then Mahabhog thali and now this newly started place "MULUKH". They serve authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. They served us with gulshengdane (peanuts and jaggery) and then we had their onion fitters basically Kanda bhajji and they were good too next we had Solkadhi and it was really good . The place is nicely designed and planned.<br/>You start getting vibes of a Maharashtrian culture as soon as you enter the place. Visited this new place good ambience, Maharashtrian food lovers do visit this place, its started in place previous mahabhog thali,<br/>About food it was good a settled flavour with not much spicy, pandhra rassa was one of the best but would suggest to serve more hot it was just warm, the wade are one of the best not much oily n taste gr8, just the chicken masala pappa ld was not upto the mark it was topped with kheema instead could be topped with fried shredded chicken.

You shouldn’t miss the brand new outlet “MULUKH” serving mouth watering marathi cuisine. <br/>I went with group of my friends since we wanted to taste newly opened marathi outlet. So we started with “SOULKADI”, I have never tasted it before but trust me it was so refreshing and flavourful that we ended up having 2-2 glasses each.<br/><br/>Then, we ordered Thali both veg and non veg. We loved the concept of thali, and how it gave a customary look. They serve the best chicken and we never had so soft mutton and also chicken keema is definitely something not to be missed when you visit here. Not to forget the flavourful Biryani, i promise you would want it more and more. It was the best biryani i had in pune in my 5 years of college. Moreover, the ambience is so alluring and traditional. I loved the place, the food, the service. The waiters were so gentle and with such a quick service. They have got designated separate thalis for veg, chicken, and mutton. We were visiting in a group so there were people with different preferences of food. Luckily we got to try each one of them, being a non veg lover I was much inclined towards the non veg one yet veg was good too, with descent amount of vaati having alloo ki sabzi, and masoor ki dal. Every thali had spicy rassa where you can ask them to customize the spicyness according to the preferences and dahi kanda along with the speciality served and everyone's favourite gulab jamun. You can choose from chapati or bajre ki roti.<br/><br/>Coming to the much awaited and the best part of our dinner, was the meat.
