Review Baba Ramdev Restaurant - Pune

Harish Yemireddy
Restaurant is famous! Unique food like dal bati is a must-try. Very tasty! However, long waiting can be an issue. Excellent flavors, but consider the wait. Highly recommend for the delicious experience. Love the restaurant's distinctive and flavorful dishes!!!!

People here appears to be serving from long years and aware of the food they serve. Delicious food but Rajwadi was quite heavy on tummy. Overall ambience is good. Need not to wait as it was Friday night dinner. AC non AC settings are available. Limited parking space is available for both two and four wheelers.

We visited the Dhaba for lunch and tried their authentic Dal baati. I ordered 4 types of thali, which included 2 Gulabi Dal baati, Rajwadi Dal baati and Badshahi Dal baati. All the dishes were filling and enough for 2 people each. It included 4 baati,1 Dal bucket, and variations according to thali. Like churma, gulab Jamun, papad, kadhi etc., Overall, all the different Dal baati dishes were delicious in taste and very fulfilling.

I visited this Dhaba on Sunday by cancelling Sainath non veg plan, because of my friend who is Vegetarian 😔. When we arrived it was so much crowded. You have to wait in line before your number comes up. We waited for around half and hour so you can consider leaving early so that you don't have to wait. So this dhaba is famous for Rajsthani foood items especially Dal Bati. We ordered Rajwadi Dalbati. I was having Dal bati for the first time in my life. You have to till any of their employees comes and take your order. In Rajwadi Dal bati you will get 4 Bati with in Ghee, Dal , Ghatta sabji, Taak and one Gulab jamun. I don't know why they didn't offer Churma. But taste was good. I can't comment on of it's taste compared to other dhabas as I was having Dal bati for the very first time. But for me taste was good. This was I guess one time experience. Infront of hotel try Chaman Chutney paan as this is mandatory after heavy meal.

Quite a huge varieties of Rajasthani vegetarian dishes available in this eatery. Tried dal Bhatti, pulka and Rajwadi bhatti and the taste is satisfactory. Ambience is good. Being holiday, there was no rush or heavy crowd. No waiting, most tables were vacant, which is unusual to this eatery, as I understood. Two sections are maintained. Ground floor is non-AC and upper floor is AC. Only negative factor is location. Restaurant is surrounded by so much trucks and heavy vehicles. One has to take risk in parking four wheeler, though there's security assistance from Restaurant.

Good place for dal bati lovers❤️ You can get Rajasthani as well as other food options. Even plain dal bati works, if you need tadka go for dal tadka version, and if you wanna try real spicy one, go for kolhapuri tikha, you can literally feel they have added 2-3 spoons of chilly into it. Lassi is good option specially in October heat and summer, Don't forget to order Butter milk in end, it's a perfect combination

Tasty & authentic daal baati. Make sure you reach by 7 45 on weekends otherwise ready to stand in queue. We had gulabi daal baati which satisfied our taste buds. Churma was good too but a bit higher on sugar. Khichiya papad and chaas are the best appetizers.

We were in a group of 10 people and had Rajwadi Dal bati thali here. The food lived upto the expectation we had from here. The bati 's were served in hot ghee which made them taste even better. The staff was quick and responsive. Only issue I had was that the cooling of AC was very bad which affected the overall experience. Also the drinking water they serve tasted like tap water, even after we got it replaced.

Best Place to Have Dal Batti , Try regular Dal baati onlyy

Very authentic and tasty Dal Bati with full of Ghee. Must try Rajwadi Dal Bati Thali. I would recommend to go at 8:00 PM or before. After 8:00 PM you will get waiting time at least 15-20 min on the weekend.

Excellent and must visit place if you are looking for authentic Rajasthani taste… and if u have capacity to digest ghee 😀 Must try - Haldi ki sabji and bajra ka rotla Kersangri bhaji (Seasonal Rajasthani vegetable) Rajwadi Dal bati Parking is short (Public transport is preferable)

Most rush place for rajasthani food, Even I got 4 bafla baati in just 200rs and it taste same as like I am eating this in Jaipur. I LOVED THIS

1. Good quality food 2. If it's Sunday prefer to go by 8pm. After 9pm huge waiting queue. 3. Service is okay 4. Parking available 5. Taste is good 6. Authentic Rajasthani atmosphere 7. Over ambience is good. 8. Budget restaurant 9. Recommendations try Rajwadi Dalbati, includes all in one.

Food was really Amazing. We ate Rajwadi Dalbati. It is good enough for 2 people and if you want more then you can order extra Bati.

If you live Rajasthani Food, Taste, you will like it... nice food. Quality is good, service is slow... wait time is also much... but worth waiting...
Ritesh Jain
Daal bati churma (Rajasthani food) lovers in decent prices are available here with best taste. It is transport nagar and crowded on weekends , 20-25 mins waiting will be there on weekends. Ambience is not great but gives Dhaba vibes.

Awesome place, amazing food & service is very fast.

Visited this place a few months back as I was craving for some Rajasthani food and what better than this place in Nigdi to try.<br/>As soon as u enter this place u get a Rajasthani feel to the mind and they have a wide seating arrangement. All the tables were full and the place was hustling and bustling crowd.<br/><br/>We ordered their Badshahi Dal Baati Thali it was so huge.It contained various accompaniments such as Bainagan bharta,Gatte ki Sabji,Namkeen,Churma etc.It was very much heavy to finish we all 3 were not even able to finish it.The best part was the lassi which was served in matke ka glass.

Awsm desi taste of Dalbati.. I love Dal .. quantity is nice ..

Ambience of this place is very traditional and once you visit you will love this place. The very first time when I visited was nearly in February and once I tasted the food I couldn't resist so I went back there in next week😂. Food is served traditionally. Mostly this place is famous for Dal-Bati and absolutely it's best. Masala khicha, butter milk and Gulabjam you can order accordingly. Dal-Bati thali includes dal, bati, gatte ki sabji, Gulabjam. Family crowd is more. If you sometime want to have traditional Indian food you must visit this place. Check out if you can order on Zomato, enjoy. Take care:)

It was my first time with couple of friends who've eaten here couple of times. The Dal baati is served hot, ghee is charged by number of table spoon servings. Jeera rice goes very well with the Dal that can be left over due to above average portion size. Food is good but the service speed and quality is unimpressive. And oh, you cannot afford to miss out on the Churma!
Madhushri Koli
This dhaba served varieties of daal bati. I love rajwadi dal bati. It is reasonable. Dal bati tastes very delicious. Family crowd.. great ambiance and interior design has rajstani touch.
Madhushri Koli
Baba ramdev restaurant is famous for authentic Rajasthani food that is daal bati churma. They have varieties of thali which contains daal bati. Chass is very tasty.

Please don't do such kind of cheating in this situation of lockdown. We are depending on your service and you are cheating customer. I ordered aloo matar and to y surprise I found 12 pieces of matar and 3 slices of potato and just full of gravy. <br/>Not expected from your end.

Baba Ramdev dhaba situated in pune is one of the breathtaking places i have visited...being a desi food lover this place fulfilled all my desi cravings in the perfect manner without making me upset...life here is so amazing and peaceful its a perfect dhaba to visit with family...also being a nonveg lover again this place made me happy even there cz they serve the best non vegetarian food with such a superb presentation the quantity and quality of food was enough in accordance to the charge and the seating area is amazing as it gives us that perfect dhaba feel...all in all this place is amazing and am really looking forward to visit this place in some days...
Geetika Singh
This place was once an authentic dhaba on a highway with “khatia” and trucks parked on the side. It has now become a commercial dhaba more of a restaurant! <br/>It serves delicious daal baati soaked in desi ghee and there are variety of thaalis to choose from. <br/>It is a nice place to go for a vegetarian meal!<br/>Give it a try!
Vikrant Patil
There is nothing more to than these two words "must visit" place if you are in Pimpri Chinchwad. Dal bati is always one of the best times they have and there are multiple items to pick up from. Lassi, chaas, Gulabjamun are instantaneously available and won't disappoint you in the taste.<br/><br/>Must visit if you are looking for authentic Rajasthani cuisine.
Siddharth Gujrathi
Honestly I feel, for this dhaba and specifically for dal bati, it is just hype in market. I have tested much better dal bati before. There is no proper options in menu as well for dal bati. If you want everything in dal bati plate you have order each item separately.<br/><br/>Kind of disappointing.
Rupesh Gaul
I going here from last 8 yrs , <br/>dal bati churma, haldi sabji,<br/> kanda lasan sabji, fast service tasty and pocketfriendly veg food
Nilofar Pathan
After going thru all d reviews finally tried badshahi thali...bt it's not dat special ...price is too high for dat particular thali not worth ur money too.. Punjabi thali was just average.. sitting area is too cramped..I have tried regular dal bati n other dishes too which is again an average taste hence 2 stars

I believe this is one of the must visit place in Pune, I really loved Rajwadi dalbati as it was really yummy.. they served baati in matka that was really hot and loaded with pure ghee... Then they served daal in a small bucket. The Rajwadi dalbati was a combo on which they served daal bati with gatte ki sabzi, papad, onion salad, chaas and gulab jamun. I also felt it is very budget friendly place. I also liked the ambience they have 3 different sitting areas I liked the desi one where they placed some khaat it gives village kind of feeling. Overall it was a good experience visiting this place. With surely visit again on my next visit to pune. keep it up team

How a Sunday lunch should look like 😍<br/>#RamdevBabaDhaba sure knows how to make us Drool 🤤 😋<br/>#dalbaatichurma was amazing <br/>I would love to suggest you to try for Rajwadi Thali <br/>This place is little crowded but it’s definitely worth to wait.
Abhay Meshram
Staff is utterly unprofessional and doesn't behave in a good manner. Also food doesn't have authentic taste of Rajasthani, they are just serving Rajasthani food by wearing Rajasthani dress which has no correlation with food.
Yash Chaudhary
so its my regular family restaurant. its always the amazing we have here<br/><br/>this place is very good saying about the service the serviceis quick n good <br/><br/>the staff is politeand friendly<br/><br/>talking about the food <br/><br/>the overall taste of food is fantastic <br/><br/>in the special the hav their <br/><br/>the authentic dal batti thali <br/>it the blend of the pure desi gheee wihich is daaam tasty <br/>you expirience the great taste of its origin

Just love this thaali. A royal feast!

It is said that when the food touches your heart that’s when it connects. I have been a passionate foodie and it’s been very rare that food served somewhere touches your Heart. Having said this Ramdev is the best vegetarian place around. I have wen a regular visitor since ages now. From daal baati to gulaabjaam, from khichadi kadi to paneer pasanda everything is a must try .<br/>I would just like to add that in our recent visit we found that the ghee quantity served in rajwadi daal Bati has reduced substantially in a couple of months . And also we tried chatpate chole which where not great as compared to their standards. The daal baati and the gatte ki sabzi was spot on.
Athang Joshi
Royal feast to have. A single dish, but still a complete meal for 2. A bit heavy on your stomach, but still great taste for tongue. Once in a while can visit this place.
Ajeesh Anand
Very supreb hotel nice ambiance.. veg food is served is too tastly Dal batti is simply orsum...<br/>Only thing is you need to come by 12 or 12:30 for lunch or else it would be too crouded..<br/><br/>To speak about service is too slow...however of you have time den it's surely a place to visit
Harsimran Hans
The place has great Dhaba feels.<br/><br/>The food is served perfectly with hot ghee dipped Bhati n the perfect tadka Daal.<br/><br/>I absolutely loved the kadhi with gatta.<br/><br/>I will visit again for sure.<br/><br/>Great place for a lazy Sunday brunch with family.<br/><br/>Winter is the perfect time to enjoy their food

This is a place i have been going for years. Amazing daal baati, quick service and fair on pockets. One can have stomach full food under ₹200. The warmth of the food and the service leaves me wanting to go back again and again.
Manish Gis
Leftover food served. Please check before eating. Some staff are rude
Sunny Rouniyar
Good place to visit once in a while.. The amount of ghee in daal bati is quite high and the taste is good.. Gatte ki sabji is the best i have ever had .. Overall a good place to visit and worth the money.

Tastiest daal baati and awesome gulab jamun...
Desii Tadkka
Love the Taste. I Love the Feel. Taste was good and Food was Fresh....
Shreya Pillai
Ordered the Rajwadi and Badshahi thali. Both had 4 baati and daal. Along with gatte ki sabji along with Chaas and Laasi and one jumbo gulaab jamun and a papad each. The Badshahi thali had an extra serving of Baigan ki sabji and farsaan. Taste was good. The portions are large, therefore one thali per person is quite a lot. All in all, easy on the pocket and if you are a Rajasthani food enthusiast, this is a place to visit.
Broke_and_hungry
Serves pure vegetarian food only and it is one of the most popular place to try in Pune. I have heard they do all the cooking in pure ghee only
Sudhanshu Soni
Somewhere over hyped as it is one of the old Dal bati outlets of Pune.  <br/><br/>I personally does not like Dal bati here as it is bit tight, more of Rava.  Somewhere i feel pure taste of Rajsthan and Malva lies to soften and mixed Dardara Aata. <br/><br/>Food is just average i tried other dishes as well.  Management does not alter from regular pattern of dishes.
Prasad Mandavle
#hotel Ramdev baba dhaba, Nigdi.<br/><br/>A place where Rajasthani food is served.<br/>The must try thing at this place is dal bati and kadhi rice...<br/>The best thing of this place is that the service is too good and too fast...<br/>Ambience- 2.5/5.<br/>Food quality- 3.5/5<br/>Food Quantity- 3.5/5<br/>Service- 4/5<br/>Overall 3.5/5.<br/>

Badshahi Dalbati, vert nice, but high price.
Tarun Setia
One of the best places of Pune for veg-food lover's.This place is always crowded and you have to wait for your turn. The food is awesome. I have been to this place 3 times especially for their Dal-bati churma.
Sandip Patil
Don't prefer now...They served quality food previously but now as the demand has increased they provide very low quality of food e.g soda in bati, poor dal, ghee/oil you can not decide. Believe me 4/6 people suffered a lot after having food at this hotel I was one of them hence writing this review as I has better food in previous visits. Prefer other Dhaba so that these people would improve the food quality again.
Shreya Deodhar
A plate of rajwadi dalbati is sufficient for two medium sized eaters!! It was very tasty and super heavy.. Had to travel 20km for this jewel in nigdi.. But it was worth the distance.. The cold and fresh chaas is a real refresher when going for lunch..<br/>The piping hot baatis in ghee and the perfectly made dal is a combination like none other!!!<br/>
Ankita Ranaware
Baba Ramdev Dhaba located in Nigdi area serves you the best of best Rajasthani food. I've tried this special Rajwadi Dal Bati there and it's just so amazing 🤩<br/><br/>Baked hot Bati's dipped in lots of desi ghee served in a mud pot with their special daal , gatte ki sabji , Chaas , papad and last but not the least Gulaabjamun💯<br/>Absolutely Worth to try it out!!<br/>Lassi was so thick , creamy and 🤤🤤..

AWESOMENESS is FOOD<br/><br/>Delighted to be here again few days back. One of the best place to have Rajasthani food..<br/>Ever crowded and people waiting for there turn. Slight dhaba appeal however more of tipical veg thali restaurant. The highest selling point is Verity in Daal batti, quick service and decent Rajasthani staff serving..<br/><br/>FOOD-<br/><br/>Badshahi Dal Bati thali- consists of bangan bharta, gatte ki sabhi, 4 bati (fully loaded with ghee), chuurma, shev, dal bucket, khiccu papad and a piece of kalajamun. Huge a quantity and can be consumed by 2 by ordering more bati of need be. Excellent quality and each and every preparation for full of taste.<br/><br/>Masala Khichdi with kadhi- very nice, even after eating good quantity there was no heavy feeling. Flavourful masalas, was not spicy thought<br/><br/>Butter milk- must have, tangy and zeera flavor is inviting<br/><br/>Overall, a 💯% must go place for all dal bati churmra, rajasthani food lovers and specifically the veggies soul.
Harshad Chaudhari
Rajasthani Dhaba.<br/>Famous for Dal batti and churma.<br/>You can try different veg options with ghee or oil as u like.<br/>Mostly crowded place .<br/>Be a early bird to avoid waiting.
Apoorva Shrivastava
Mouth watering perfectly baked baatties dipped in ghee, served with delicious yellow daal with perfect tadka. All the daal baati fans should visit this place once and you'll love to visit here over and again
Santosh Naik
Ordered 2 different biryani one matka and one normal with ghee. Bother biryani test equally bad. No salt, no spice. Worst biryani of my life probably.May be it was late and they just prepared whatever and served considering no one complaints.

Visited here for having the delicious Daal Baati.<br/><br/>Baba Ramdev Dhaba is one of the popular one for daal Baati churma.<br/>They've an ethnic style of providing daal Baati churma to the customers.<br/>They do have dessert option after the desi meal which is served with Desi ghee. Following are the recommendations by me.<br/><br/>• Recommendations by me :<br/><br/>1) Rajwadi Daal Baati<br/>2) Gulab Jamun<br/>3) Rabdi<br/>4) Churma in Desi ghee<br/><br/>They provide a real and unforgettable taste.<br/>The food is freshly prepared and given to customers. And staff is very helpful and friendly.<br/>Overall my experience was great.
Swaroop Pattanayak
We had nice experience. Food was too much satisfactory. Loved them.<br/><br/>Two cons -<br/>1. The crowd. Why play music when there are lots of people howling? Maintaining a quite atmosphere can be stresses upon else stop the music. It is quite irritating. The food will make you overlook this though. 😉<br/><br/>2. "The rabdi" was bit overrated. I think you will get lot better rabdi elsewhere. The rabdi is just not good..it is not proper rabdi.. it is too overpriced as well. Take gulabjamun or churma instead.
Akash Doshi
Fequently I travel 30km from Hadapsar to Nigdi just for this place. They serve the best Dal bati thali in Pune. Bati was soft and dipped in pure ghee. Dal was medium spicy. Gatte ki sabji was awesome. Gulab jamun mouthwatering. Worth every penny. Must visit place in Pune for Dal bati.
Durba Chakraborty
I always had high hopes in regards to daal bati here. Me and my roommate who is from Rajasthan went to this place, being Sunday the place was completely packed, we got our seats after 15mins of waiting. We had ordered the rajwadi thali, the daal and the bati tasted really good but I would personally suggest not to go for the thaali rather order gulabi daalbati which consists only of the daal, bati cause the other items such as gulab jamun, gatte ki sabzi were okayish. So if you want to feast over daal bati, it's better to order the gulabi daalbaati.... All together was a good experience.
FatemaB
We totally loved the dal bhaati churma .. it was heavenly and filling. The hot ghee on the churma was the perfect marriage and hot piping gulab jamun was the icing on the cake ❤
Vijit Gupta (Grubify)
This is a very authentic Rajasthani restaurant situated in the corner of Nigdi Pradhikaran area but it serves the most amazing Daal Bati and delicious typical Rajasthani dishes, if you are a foodie and you love Rajasthani food then this is a must try place for you.<br/>The costs are very affordable and the quality of the food is pretty amazing, its a pretty big seating area and you have to stand in line to get a table on the weekends, they also have a few cute khattiya for you to sit and enjoy your food in Desi style, being a foodie from Rajasthan,  trust me that is pretty cool.<br/>Although the hygiene can be improved a little bit.
Amit Tailor
Good food , pure and hygiene
Prakhar Shukla
Best place to have dal bati in pune. Hope they open outlets in other areas also. And do not forget to have desi ghee churma its mouthwatering.
Foodgrapher
When someone says dal Batis in pune, this place pop into my mind. Well, I have been visiting this place since quite a long time. Its crowded most of the time specifically on weekends. Ambience is ok, But food is finger licking good. My favorite is Gulabi Dal Bati though Rajwadi dalbati has churma, Jaipuri Gatta and khichiya, I prefer to order them separately.<br/>The most important thing when it comes to Dal bati is Ghee and chutney. They provide both abundantly. They serve batis dipped in ghee pot. Crush batis , pour all ghe from the pot then add dal , add little chutney , some jaipuri gatta and taste the heavenly food. Awesome!!!
Aishwarya.surya33
I m absolutely in love with dal bati that they serve here. Ambiance is also good and they accommodate people in large number and also provide super fast service. Just love the food.
Shruti Agarwal
Go there if you want to have authentic Rajasthani food. Dal baati, kadi baati, churma, gatte ki sabji are their USPs. Baati was properly cooked and they provide it in mitti bartan having ghee in it. Kadhi was appropriate sour and churma also was good, Sweetness just how I like. We tried daal baat thali there that included daal, baati, gatte ki sabji, gulabjamun and papad. Kadi and churma we ordered separately. All things were good in taste.
Pranitha Gajjala
You should visit this place for a nice dal Bati meal , they have a dal Bati thali served along with baingan bharta, kadi, papad , Sev , lassi, sweet.<br/>Quite satisfactory.
Shashank Chaubey
Restaurant with Rajasthani food and ambiance. By taking Rajasthani theme they tried to recreate in pune & people appreciate it. Food quality is good but not the best. They needs to innovate according to time 🤓
Parag Sahu
Awesome food @reasonable price!!!!!<br/>I visited the place on Sunday afternoon.<br/>It was crowded and have to wait for 20 minutes before get the table.<br/>We ordered Rajwadi Daal baati and churma . It was delicious.<br/>The place was cleaner.<br/>Staff was polite and helpful for suggestions of dishes.<br/><br/>The only drawback is parking space :(<br/>The place is inside transport nagar so heavy trucks are parked there, leaving limited space for car parking.<br/><br/>Please go on two wheeler to avoid this issue.<br/><br/>Rest is all good. Place Worth trying.<br/>Cheers!!!!<br/>
Yash
The speciality was Rajwadi dal bati which was amazing <br/>Ambience was okay <br/>Staff was polite and good<br/>The taste was good <br/>Would like to visit again
Sohum Kulkarni
Taste is good. Service is fine. Place is very famous so you might have to wait on Sundays. Rajasthani dishes must try. Overall it's a good restaurant.
KiShOrE PhAd
Staff is very unprofessional and yet food is delicious but a place without service not so good. Dal batti was good but veg pulav which i ordered was taste less. 🤮🤮🤮 Not a pleasant experience.
Unnat Chauhan
We visited this place on Sunday noon and the place was extremely crowded. The ambience is average and the sitting arrangement is not that good. The quantity of food is quite considerable as the rates are also reasonable. Can visit once.
Bhushan Khaladkar
I am not really a fan of dalbati, but as suggested by one of my colleagues we planned to visit this place on Friday Eve.<br/><br/>Ambience is pretty decent. We went for Rajwadi dalbati. 4 Bati's were given in mud vessel (Matka) with gulab jamun, papad, kadhi and chaas.<br/><br/>Taste of dalbati was really amazing. Sure would love to visit this place again.<br/>

One liner : Overrated, Above average taste with lot of area to improve.<br/><br/>Disclaimer : Review is subjective, I am Vegetarian so my review is only for veg food.<br/><br/>Detail review : <br/><br/>This was my third visit to this place. I feel its bit overrated. <br/><br/>Overall food taste is just above average, but there are lots of areas where this place need to improve.<br/><br/>Ambiance : 2/5. Very congested. Feels like you are sitting in college canteen. Tables, plates, glasses need to be more clean. You have indoor and outdoor sitting. Indoor sitting is still good. But outdoor sitting is just mess.<br/><br/>Service : 3/5. Depends upon time you visit. Most of the time is crowded and if so, then service will be very slow.<br/><br/>Menu : 3.5/5 You will get all regular north indian menu here. But famous for Dal bati. Even for dal bati they have different thalis.<br/><br/>Food quality : 3.5/5 its really overrated. Nothing much special about So famous Dal Bati. You will get such dal bait in any good restaurant in Pune. <br/><br/>Prices : 2.5/5, I feel its bit overprices. Prices could be 15% less.<br/><br/>Other : Parking is bit problematic, they have security guard appointed, but being in transport nagar, there will struggle to park your vehicle. Washrooms were descent.
Bharat Tanwani
I was here bit ago for a rajasthani dalbati.<br/>I am not a big fan of dalbati, but just to change a taste of food having daily went here.<br/>We ordered here Chatpati Dalbati & Limited Dalbati Kolhapuri.<br/>Chatpati dalbati was good, served with topping of curd & sev with tomatoes & onions.<br/>Kolhapuri was as usual spicy.<br/>After that we ordered gulab jamun & rabadi, rabadi was awesome & gulab hot & fresh.<br/>All an all good food.

Hello All the Dal Baati Lovers out there, hello from one of the best dal Baatis in the town!! <br/><br/>Now you might be wondering why I always make such bold and defining statements because these Dal Baatis deserve a shout out and these legacy outlets like Baba Ramdev Dhaba needs to be recognised by us!! <br/><br/>I have your attention now, let's jump right on to the review of this Special Dhaba which has been serving freshly baked Baati and hotly steamed Dal.<br/>We were here a few days back for lunch and ordered the following <br/><br/>Rajwadi Dal Baati (With Desi Ghee) - Three of us ordered this thali as it had nearly all the specialities the house had to offer. The Baatis were on the stiffer side but not sure if that is meant to be in the same way. The Baatis were dipped in Desi Ghee. Delicious was the daal and the sabzis as well.<br/><br/>Few other members had ordered the normal roti and sabzi, <br/>Rajasthani Paneer And Akhkha Masoor both the dishes were really good and the taste was unique and authentic unlike many of the Dhabas.<br/><br/>The service is not that fast as this place is always filled up with a lot of peeps, and even a lot of corporate teams pop here every now and then. That might be the reason for slow service but they have a decent staff. <br/><br/>Pro Tip 1 - The Baati and Dal are served very hot, so be cautious and do not get yourself or your tongue burnt. <br/>Pro Tip 2 - The Baati needs to mash properly before adding dal to the plate, as the mashed Baati is tastier than any regular one.<br/><br/>Food - 4.5<br/>Ambience - 4<br/>Value for money - 4.5<br/>Service - 4<br/>Overall - 4.0+

Wel to say this place serves amazing daal bhati... it was a sudden plan.. but turn out to be amazing. There's always rush in here we had to wait for abt 20 minutes.. we were there at nite around 9pm.. over all it's a Good place if u wana have some amazing daal bhati.
Dhyan Ashutosh
Awesome place, awesome food, good quality, good taste.. love this place. I usually try daal Bati and rajawadi Sabji. All paneer Sabji is also delicious. Must visit

Paid the long-awaited visit to baba ramdev dhaba last weekend, while returning from Mumbai.<br/>We reached there minutes before the opening time, thus avoiding the regular weekend rush. 😀<br/>On enquiring about the difference between the types of thalis, the waiter said we should go with badshahi as it will be enough of two people and includes lassi and one extra sabzi.<br/>Since the price of this thali was 390, and the other one was 215, we believed that it is good for 2 and ordered it.<br/>Well, at 390 (given the ambience and noise) the thali was too expensive. If I were eating the same thing peacefully at a squeaky clean restaurant, I would be still okay with it.<br/><br/>The thali, as you can see, had only 4 baatis, but so does the rajwadi thali @225 rs! Only a person with a low-moderate appetite will be full with two baatis, I believe. And only one medium sized bowl of churma for two people!<br/>I am a marwadi, but I have never seen baingan ka bharta being eaten with dal-baati. May be I am ignorant!<br/>The sev and papad were soggy. When we told the guy there, he said he couldn't help it due to the weather. Well, you are running a big restaurant here. So, you should be able to store this stuff properly!!<br/>Ordered a full plate of churma, the quantity of that too was bit disappointing at rs 120.<br/><br/>The only positive part, which is of course very important, is that the food was delicious! The daal, baati and churma (don't care much about the other accompaniments) were exactly how it is made at home. 😊<br/><br/>But I would not suggest the Badshahi thali to anyone. 👎<br/>

Best place in Pune to eat Dal Bati . I personally like Rajwadi Thali in which u get 4 bati dipped in pure hot desi ghe , one bucket dal some papad and Gatta Sabji For Sweet Gulab Jamun . If you are looking for Rajasthani Food then this is right place to Visit.<br/><br/>If you are planning to visit on weekend then try to go before 1 hour because it takes almost 40-50 minutes waiting.

I have visited this place a lot of times. Its a gem of a place to say the least! If you want some pure ghee dishes, this should be on top of your list in this city.<br/>Rajwadi Daal Bati, Buttermilk, Gulab Jamun are some signature dishes they have which is a must try.<br/>Apart from that, the North Indian food here is amazing. I have had almost 4-5 Paneer dishes and they are always spot on with the taste and spice level.<br/>A MUST VISIT PLACE!<br/><br/>Pro Tip - On weekends, this place is damn crowded for both Lunch and Dinner. I would suggest you go just 40-45 minutes before the closing time on weekends to get a table!

This place is well famous across foodies in pune.<br/>Far from the city near transport nagar, Nigdi this place is a must visit for Dal batti churma..<br/><br/>You need to reach there and plan early bcz you'll have to wait for atleast 30 min to get a table .<br/><br/>Once you get a table...we directly ordered Dal batti special thali. And the taste was simply delicious.<br/><br/>Full marks no complaints totally worth it.<br/><br/>Sorry no pics this time

The place left a lot for asking. I've been visiting this place and it was probably my 4th or 5th visit. While the dal baati was okay, the sabzi and dal we ordered were super greasy and not tasty at all. The service wasn't prompt either. Wish the management focused on ramping it up.

If you love eating Rajasthani food then this is a must visit place for you. We had been here on a workday and to my surprise it was too crowded and had waiting as well.<br/>We ordered rajwadi dalbati, it contained 4 bati dipped in Desi ghee, Dal, gulab jamun, papad. To be very frank it was too wonderful and amazing, it's a must try. Followed by Dal rice and it was good too. In desert we had rabdi which was quite ok and churma which was yum<br/><br/>Ambience: 3/5<br/>Food: 4/5<br/>Service: 3.5/5<br/>Value for Money: 4/5

Don't go on it's face..<br/>This place is a scam. Food is pathetic.<br/>You can still opt for dal bati but anything else I would suggest you too eat from some the cheapest stall you can find rather than this place..<br/>Very disappointed.<br/>Rate 0/5 for almost everything.

Best Daal Baati.<br/>Its nice place for Daal Baati Lover. here you will feel that you are in Rajasthan only. you can see the staff's ldressing sense, painting on the wall and everything make you feel that you are in Rajasthan. Daal Baaati, Churma with Butter Milk makes your Meal Perfect. It is perfect for Pure Vegetarian.

Day by day Quality of food is getting distracted on the account of very huge increased charges. I am really missing Hotel Ramdev which was like 3 years ago. I ordered their famous Dahi vada in last week, quality of Dahi vada is so bad that I had kept as it there. Waiting time is also so big almost more than hour specially in weekends. Hotel Ramdev should specially work on their pricing current price is good for non vegetarian items, but it slightly costlier for vegetarian people.
