A very popular bakery located at Bavdhan. Easily the best in the area, known for the fresh cakes, patties and rolls which they serve. Its a small outlet located at the basement. The service is quite fast. Lots of varieties in cakes available here. The packing is perfect. The price is quite cheap for the quality they offer in comparison to the nearby cake shops. They accept upi payment methods also.

Had another great experience ordering Richie's Cake Shop Babkas for my dear school friends at my school meet up in Bandra, Mumbai. The Babka was moist, fresh and delicious - made to perfection. The ordering process was simple for a large order and delivery was on time. A perfect gift enjoyed by good friends. 'Bakbak, Babka and Billy, as perfectly said by a very satisfied friend who enjoyed her gift. The perfect gift for any occasion... Well done Richie's Cake Shop !!

This has been one of my favorite Cake shop, too bad they are not on Swiggy. The cakes are fresh and awesome. The cake just melts in your mouth, never had a bad experience, after ordering numerous time. Cheesecake are awesome, specially choclate walnut muffins. My wife just love those muffins. Sweet is also well balanced.

First I would want to talk about the quality of the cake, which is exactly wat they promise. They have huge variety of eggless cakes, which makes it easy for everyone to have. Its a Famous chain of cake shop in Bavdhan in Aditya Shagun mall main road bavdhan. It is not easily locatable as it's in basement/ lower ground floor. Have variety of cakes and other items. Price is little high as compared to others but quality of the food items is really good. You can have quick bites in the shop or take away. There is ample of parking near shop.

This is the best cake bakery in Pune, hands down. I don't need to say anything about the Ferrero Rocher cake. It is pure Nirvana. The brownies are awesome and the chicken sausage hot dog is drool worthy! Super yummy all the way!

Richies is a small cake shop in Bavdhan. They have the most delicious cakes in Pune. The cream is the best part and the flavours just pop into your mouth. Some of my favourite cakes are the ferrero rocher cake, the white forest cake and the black currant cake.<br/>They also have a variety of snacks like hotdogs, pizzas, burgers,etc. The chicken hotdog and chicken pizza are worth the try. Do try their chocolate muffin too. One of the best chocolate muffins I had.<br/>Since richies opened up, I have never ordered cake from anywhere. It’s definitely worth it, especially if you love cakes❤️

This place serves very nice cakes. The taste is also very good. This is the only place which offers nice cakes in bavdhan area. I would recommend this place for buying cakes.

OK so we my friends and I go here on a regular basis<br/>Food is good and pocket friendly <br/>And then one day while peeing through the see-through glass where one can see them make cakes and other products sold<br/>We see adult sized cockroach not just moving around on the food kept there but also around the dough<br/>They do wear gloves but trust me ur eating filth<br/>

An excellent bake n confectionary shop with a loads of options. However availability of many items is a catch. <br/>Must haves.... Chocolate balls, eclairs, pastries, cakes, chicken pizza. <br/>Would have given a 4.5 rating but for the cost effectiveness settled for 3.5<br/>

We had ordered a car shape cake for first bday of my son. They gave normal rectangular shape cake with just car design on top. So when we went back ask about it. They accepted their mistake and agreed for refund us the design charges 300rs. So we gave them bank details. But after a week no refund , went to shop but they gave multiple reasons , you have to send mail for refund. On the first side it's not my mistake even I followed up multiple times.<br/> They completely spoiled first bday of my child.<br/>

Small place with almost all the bakery varieties. Availability for the different cakes all the time is the good part of this place. Fresh fruit cake is my favourite here. 😃

I love pastries over here...tried orange, strawberry and chocolate and ferrero rocher...fererro rocher was okeiysh..rest 3 were awesome..so fresh , yummy , moist and melt in mouth...though i feel quantity of cream is more compared to cake...pastries are fresh...they keep other snacks items such as burger, puff, sandwich etc...their choco chips cake was good too..got chocolate muffin it was also moist and fresh but was getting egg smell..so didnt like it much..

A decent place for good snacks and sandwiches with also some seating available on the outside and as well in the shop, I recently tried out the Chocolate Chips cake that tasted great, was very well made, not to sweet as well as soft. Another offering here is their Ferrero Rocher cake, but the order needs to be placed atleast a day in advance as they normally run out.<br/><br/>I've also tried their sandwiches, pizzas and hot dogs that are quite delicious as well as value for money for the rates at which they are priced at. Special mention to the chocolate eclair as well which again is one of my favourite items from the store.

Only one thing about this place for me is cakes. Ferrero Rocher and mango cake are the best cakes I had till date here. The service provided was quick and prompt.

Looking for a real quick bite with a tight budget but no compromise on taste? This is the place . I live and work in Bavdhan . This is my first choice when I have 20 minutes before that boring meeting starts.<br/><br/>What you should try:<br/>Burgers - I have tried both veg and non veg. Both were yummy. Enough for a light snack. <br/>Muffins - The chocolate muffin is very well balanced in sweet and well prepared. <br/>Puffs - Veg/Non puffs were seriously tasty . I seldom get to taste good puffs in Pune. <br/>Cakes, pastries , mini pizzas are all available and you can try them all. <br/><br/>If i could, I would award them "best value for money" cake shop .

I have been here many times to have various kinds of pastries which have been better than most in the town.<br/>I have also tried other items like cheese patties and chicken rolls and they have also been quite good.<br/>It was this experience and quality which led me to order a cake from here for a special occasion.<br/>We were going on a destination and were to celebrate a birthday there for which I went here to order a cake.<br/>I wanted to order a designer cake. We chose a cake and asked him if he could deliver it by next day till 3PM.<br/>He at first said no. I asked him if he could check with the baker once and let me know about it. He went, asked and came back to inform me that it would be delivered minimum by 4.<br/>Since I couldn't afford that, I told them I wont be ordering in that case. In a flash the baker (and later I found the owner was there as well) said that they would deliver it by 3.<br/>When I went there the next day at 3.15, they took their time and gave me the cake at 3.50. When I checked with the owner regarding the customer commitments, he casually said that because I wanted the cake at 3, they took the order and it was my mistake that I ordered the cake even when they earlier said that the cake can be delivered only by 4.<br/>He then simply asked me to leave the place with the cake.<br/>This was the worst experience I have had in so many years.<br/>They don't have any concerns regarding the customer commitments and they can make false claims in order to gain an order.<br/>But they forget that they may get that order but they have lost a customer for life time.<br/>Also this will result in a bad mouth publicity and affect other customers and their orders as well.

A really nice little place for pastries and snacks. Their pastries are decent, Moist and better than cake shops like Monginis. <br/>The veg and chicken mini pizzas were pretty nice, and so was the chocolate croissant! Would visit again if I'm around! :)

Very few cake shops have your orders(Ferrero Rocher cake) ready, freshly baked inside 1 hour. Even fewer one's have such an amazing cake (Ferrero Rocher cake) in their arsenal. I was introduced to this cake shop a couple of months ago and have already been here 4-5 times. Being a loyal cake and cream factory regular, shifting allegiances was not even a remote possibility. Richie's changed that. Btw, the Ferrero Rocher cake.

One of my favourite places !! Chocolate doughnut, blueberry cheese cake and coffee caramel cake are must try :)  Food is always fresh and delightful. Do visit if you are in the nearby area.

Richie ! I heard from my friends about this cake shop. so far I have been there for 2 - 3 times. All the time my experience is really BAD. Yes it was bad experience. first of all I would comment on the staff. Staff is very lame. They don't understand what you are asking. Being new to this shop I asked them about couple of their desserts on display these guys could not even explain what is it. This shop is run by some Raj enterprises. I'm not sure if this is owner of shop but if they are Raj Enterprise is running a franchise of Richie then they should take a note of this.<br/><br/>Now coming on desserts. I liked cakes and pastries over here. Also I tried Apple pie and was worth trying. Blueberry white forest, chocolate pastries were good.  in all taste quality is nice and they are maintaining it. Guys please look at your staff.

This was our second mediocre experience at Richies. They serve average pastries. Yes, I am not exaggerating. Nothing outstanding about it. I am writing this review to specifically comment on pastries and their staff. The other products may be good. Coming to their staff. Unprofessional, laid back staff. They cannot follow even basic instructions given to them. I requested them to put the pastry in the box and give it to me since I was going to eat in the car parked just outside the outlet. They packed it. Placed the box below the other boxes. Further, Nowhere have I seen a pastry been placed horizontally. This was heights. Please see photo attached. Service is terribly slow.

There are no words to describe this breadth taking bakery. I always felt like a strong emotional connection to this place.<br/><br/>Four years ago my best friend got a blueberry cheese cake from this place for my birthday. And i was totally blown by this amazing creamy smooth buttery (infinite adjectives! 😝) cheese cake. I have tasted so many cheese cakes till date, but this is the best one I ever had. 😊 since that day I made him promise me that he will order the same exact cake from Richies for my ever birthday. So I have been cutting the exact same cake on my birthday ever time since 4 years. I have attached all the 4 pictures here🙌<br/><br/>Apart from this specific cake, even the Ferrero rocher cake, the dutch chocolate cake, the dark chocolate cake, pineapple and kiwi cake are also fantastic. You should also try the cheese and chocolate croissants here.<br/><br/>The place is a little small and has only couple of tables to sit, but I don't care about anything as long as I get my amazing breathtaking cheese cake every time.😁<br/>

Topped with chocolate sauce it was chocolatey indulgence. Wont beat any others<br/><br/>--Apple Pie -<br/>  It looked oh so tempting.. The filling is just gorgeous . Filling of Apples cooked to jelly like consistency is a treat. <br/>However the pie crust was just  too thick & rendered and not crispy at all top & bottom.<br/> Overall it tasted  just like those fig/fruit rolls/ biscuits ( which is not bad :) )  . The crust was a big letdown from pie context.<br/> <br/>Wish they would include more  favourites like lemon,bluebery , pecan perhaps?<br/><br/>--Ferrero Rocher cake - <br/>very disappointed , wouldn't buy it again. There was a single  ferrero piece decorating the cake as topping. NO ferrero was found inside or it was too mushed up & had no ferrero taste whatsoever. <br/>The chocolate ganache/layering   was pasty & not the rich chocolate you would expect. Overall very disappointing. <br/><br/>They have selection of other goods too &  two small tables to enjoy your goodies in house. <br/><br/>Am bit on the fence with the + & - i've had here. Its the first cake shop in bavdhan who make fondant cakes.. The cakes and pastries are worth a pay and very reasonable ... Fresh cream cakes are too delicious to taste here... The varieties of cakes they prepare are just outstanding... 👌👌

I have actually been a loyal customer of Richies from a very very long time but I felt compelled to write this review today when Richard (owner) went out of his way to deliver my cake ahead of time as I was not able place order much in advance. He has delivered a printed photo cake of our choice of flavours in a matter of hours... hats off to this level of customer service. Cakes are the best here as compared to other multi location outlet vendors.

Located in the Aditya Shagun Mall near Subway on Bavdhan main road, this little cake shop is a better option than a monginis however falls short of the quality offered by a bread story situated close by. They have a wide range of cakes and savouries which are quite good and priced rightly. Amongst the pastries, the ferrero roche pastry is a personal favourite however it can be much better. The puffs available here also good and generally quite fresh. They also have some really nice and fresh muffins, chocolate muffin being my favourite. <br/><br/>Overall it has decent quality stuff however they can work more on the pastries. They also have a few tables inside where you can sit and grab a quick bite. Its a value for money place however falls a little short in terms of taste and preparation.

Ordered the cake for my kid's birthday from here.<br/><br/>With a mere 3 hour notice they agreed to prepare a custom design cake for us.<br/><br/>Even if it was on a expensive side than the Mongini's we had no chice since no one was ready to give custom design on such a short notice.<br/><br/>But I am glad that I ordered from here. Cake was fresh, the Chota Bheem on cake was very good.<br/><br/>And yes the cake, black forest was exceptionally good. I was so bored of the typical taste of black forest at mongini's. this one was a really welcome change.<br/><br/>We also bought some choco cookies for trial. they were quite good too!<br/><br/>Next time I want a birthday cake, i am likely to go there instead of Monginis.

Absolutely love this place. Have been frequenting this joint for several years now. The oldest memory I have of this place dates back to 2009 - when I had got some yummy chicken sandwiches and hot dogs for our very first long distance road trip then.<br/>Have tried mostly all their cake flavors. My favorite is the strawberry that will now soon be available (I hope! ;)) and the mixed fruit cake/pastry. Also the Ferrero Rocher and White Forest! Gee I love all their varieties of cakes and pastries :D<br/>Also the puffs - cheese, chicken, veg are pretty good. Cookies are good too. This is definitely one of the best places in town for bakery products. I am fan of their pastries. I get drawn to the indulging experience when I'm around Andy's or subway. <br/><br/>The staff is smiling and courteous. The items are reasonably priced. The minimum value for credit card transaction is 100 bucks the last I checked.

I have been regularly ordering cakes and snack items from Richie's for over two years for office parties and always had very good feedback about quality. Richard is extremely professional which makes Richie's the best choice when you are time bound. Very good quality food and very good service. Price is on the higher side, but quality and service make up for it.

This RICHIE'S outlet is right below Andy’s at Bavdhan. Both times I dropped by at Andy’s I couldn’t help but drop in at RICHIE'S too, talk about great positive externality bestowed by that restaurant on the cakeshop! It was easy to see that they were good at what they did. From then on if I am in that area I haven’t yet managed to resist the temptation of washing ashore here and have picked up something or the other every single time since my first visit! I can see that they have an outlet in Aundh too – note to self, check that out too.<br/><br/>They offer savory and sweet baked delights. Cakes, pastries, rolls, sandwiches, pies, non-cream cakes and such like usual that you would expect at a decent bakery. Whatever I have so far sampled has been a great success as the clicks should testify. <br/><br/>The BLACK CURRANT PASTRY and the ORANGE PASTRY (Rs 50 each) were both visually calming to look at and great to taste. The have similar ones in LEMON and KIWI flavours also. The CHOCOLATE VANILLA CAKE (Rs 320) I bought from here was a super duper success with its delicious vanilla and chocolate layers – it stayed beautifully fresh in the fridge for almost 4-5 days that I miraculously made it last (I almost used the fridge lock to stop self & others from devouring it whole on a binge – it WILL make you lose control so be prepared to test self-restraint)!!! <br/><br/>The CHICKEN QUICHE (Rs 60) was awesome as a tea time accompaniment – I regretted not picking up more. Same story for the VEG PUFF (Rs 25), neat little parcels that they were (none of the flimsy flaky stuff that disintegrates when you attempt to eat it – this one held its own). <br/><br/>The APPLE PIE (@Rs 50) was wonderful with beautifully stewed apples ensconced between layers of perfect pastry shell topped with a sticky glaze. I am rooting for more pies, especially savoury ones so hope they will enlarge their selection under that head because they are clearly competent to make pies. <br/><br/>On another occasion tried their WHITE FOREST PASTRY (Rs 60) which employed white chocolate instead of the usual brown and had a layer of a cherry compote sort of interior – excellent duality. The CHOCO-WALNUT MUFFIN @ Rs 30 should be picked up by the dozen so delightful they are.<br/><br/>There is a small area in the shop where you could sit and savour the delights they offer. There is an upstairs section which is a prep kitchen of sorts and it is fun to see the proceedings as you choose the goodies you want. They used to retail Lindt chocolates but I saw that refrigerator empty on a recent visit:-(<br/><br/>For me RICHIE'S is at par with the two other bakery chains I quite love in this particular segment of cake shops viz. Copper Chocs and Baker's Basket. I hope they start deliveries soon in the area like my neighbourhood Monginis does because I have often heard their customers from the immediate locality ask them for that while I have been at the shop. <br/><br/>Richard who runs the establishment (ooooohhhhh THAT is why they call themselves RICHIE'S!!! I just got it – how utterly slow & dull am I?!! – I am putting it on the sugar rush from their cakes!!!!) is usually around (at least I think it is him) and can be seen supervising his wonderful staff and personally handling the needs of the customers. their bread are just awsome........must try the cheese filled garlic bread at least once.<br/>the pastries are another delight for your taste buds.....the cream is neither heavy nor greasy.<br/>whatever I have from Richies I end up claiming to love it the best. My colleague is a big fan of their plum cakes.<br/>My favorite is the chocolate crossiant. it has the nutella filling in it. With every bite I get transfered to heaven...its so yummy.

their saviories are good, but cakes are horrible. richie's cake are full of cream and less of cake.<br/>personally I don't prefer such cakes. no real substance.<br/>rather TRY bread story or bakers basket.

Richies is located in Bavdhan at a prime location which makes it accessible.The place is very clean and hygienic and also have a small seating arrangement.<br/>Serve lots of varieties of cake.I like the fruit ones best.<br/>They serve very few veg snacks but for non vegetarians they have amazing chicken pizza and hot dogs.<br/>You can get fresh breads and many types of cookies also.<br/>I go all the way to richies just for their muffins and brownies.They make chocolate chip and walnut muffins which are spongy,fresh and yummm.<br/><br/>I might not consider it the best bakery but certainly among the top 10 in pune.<br/><br/>PS.-The place is closed on Thursday.I somehow always forget that and end up returning home disappointed.

This id hands down one of the best cake shops in town.<br/>Ever since I tried their Mango Delight during my first visit, every celebration has been incomplete with a cake from here.<br/>Their fruit flavored cakes are amazing, with the right mix of sweet and fruity tastes.<br/>The cream is soft and melts in the mouth with every bite.<br/>They also serve some delicious hot dogs and burgers. I would Richie's for their cakes (obviously) and their chicken hot-dogs.<br/>The service is quick and crisp, leaving no complaints whatsoever.<br/>It has managed to survive a long line of competition and stay on top of their game.<br/>If you are driving down the bavdhan road, pull up and try their cakes or hot-dogs. It is definitely one of the best bakeries in town.
