Wow... I visited here for the first time and trust me was actually feeling I am in Kolkata.... Bengali songs playing with a low volume with very good decorations all around and so many varieties of fish and an amazing service by the waiters......they were allowing my glass of water to get empty....ek line me kahunga pet k saath dil bhi bhar gaya....

Finally the place for bengali food lovers is here.<br/>Must visit place to try the real authentic Bengali dishes. Polite staffs and a decent ambience.

I went with my friends and the very first feeling was 'Wow, home away from home' after having the food. Finally, i got a decent restaurant that serves decent bengali food. Kudos to the chef for such mouth smacking bengali snacks like egg devil, fish fry and ofcourse our authentic kosha magsho 'mutton kosha'. Thank you Eden Gardens. Keep serving such mouth watering foods.
Shikhar Yadav
Very authentic bengali food is served with a touch of homely atmosphere.

Food had no taste!!<br/>food was the worst,my friends ordered 2 paneer dishes ,they were not able to finish even one,I can go on about how bad the food was,its a shame that they are claiming its bengoli cuisine ,food was no where near any bengoli food service timing was way too much,on top of that they didnt accept card

I am a Bengali and have eaten Bengali food all my life. So, I know for a fact what good Bengali food tastes like. <br/>with all confidence I can assure you that I have eaten the best Kosha Mangsho (Mutton Curry) in Pune at Eden Gardens. Perfectly cooked meat, just falling off the bone, dense gravy with sweetness from the caramelized onions and a taste which is spot on. Just Perfect!<br/>I also relished the Daab Chingri (Prawn coconut gravy) and no complaints for the luchi.<br/><br/>However, the ambiance is pretty ordinary and the very limited options in their drinks menu is disheartening. Additionally they have a long and diverse food menu, which otherwise can be kept short and service can be faster.<br/><br/>Food is not too expensive and should suit most visitors. Value for money is good! <br/><br/>Definitely worth a visit. If not for anything else, the Kosha mangsho.
Harjeet Singh Bhandal
You can walk-in to taste some mouth watering Bengali cuisines. We had Bengali styled fish fingers in starters followed by Daab Chingri and Desi Chicken Kosa with steamed rice. Everything was prepared with utmost love and perfection that would satisfy your palate. We finished off the lunch with some dessert, payees is recommended.
Shyamananda Kangsabanik
It's a Very small restuarant with a bengali ambience which is nice.<br/>Coming to food. Fish kabiraji & peas kochuri was good.<br/>But Chicken biriyani is pathetic. No taste.<br/>Only potato and egg donot make a biriyani of bengali style.
Deborima Das Roy
I loved this place. u won't feel that you are staying outside of Kolkata. food was too good

We visited Eden Gardens on Dusherra with a hope of some good Bengali food. Did this place do justice - Yes!!<br/>To start off we ordered some prawn cutlets - 2 big pieces served the 4 of us well. What I loved about it was that it had actual pieces of prawns and not some mushed up version of it. <br/>For the main course we ordered Macher matha diye daal (daal with fish), Bangladeshi mutton, some Daab Chingri (prawns), luchi and a Pujo special non-veg thali <br/>The mutton was tender and very tasty although a bit too spicy for me. Though am sure it would hit the right spot for most people. <br/>We were expecting the daab chingri to be made with mustard so that was a bit disappointing, nonetheless it was quite tasty and the portions size was very good. <br/>The daal and luchi and everything on our Thali was very good. <br/>Overall a good experience specially if you’re looking for some Bengali food. <br/>

Although the food was good. But service was very pathetic. Firstly, no one came for taking the order till 15mins. We have to call the waiter on our own. Order was taken, after sometime some person came and said ur order please. Like they don't have any co-ordination among themselves. Finally at the end, we asked for finger bowl but waiter denied and said we din't provide it and then we saw other customers using it. So we called the waiter and asked why he denied, he had no idea about what he was answering and said sorry.<br/>Hence we don't wanted to create any scene over there. So we left. Service was very poor.<br/>Think before visiting over there.

Eden Gardens can easily be considered to be one of the niche and best restaurants in Pune for authentic Bengali cuisine. Located near EON IT Park in Kharadi, I have had the privilege to either order food from there or eat in on numerous occasions without being disappointed even once. I have also attended their special food festivals like Poila Boishakh or the seasonal Hilsa festivals. Needless to say, I had a delectable and superb experience every time.  Whether they are non-vegetarian or vegetarian, the preparations are authentic, tasty, suit the palette to the T and the service is impeccable. The staff are extremely polite and they take personal care of the guests at each table without being intrusive. The ambience of the restaurant is simple, yet classy. The restaurant also serves Chinese though I have never had the Chinese options of the menu there yet since I always feel like satiating my taste buds with the superb Bengali fare that they dish out every time. However, going by the attention to quality, I am sure that even a Chinese meal would taste equally great there. <br/><br/>A special note of thanks to the owner who tries her best to make every patron of the restaurant feel welcome and satisfied.

Being a Bengali and of course a foodie, I keep exploring restaurants serving Bengali recipes. So after hearing some good reviews from friends, I decided to pay visit to this restaurant.<br/><br/>1. Ambience - 5/5<br/>As you see the pics, it's offers an amazing ambience backed by great music.<br/>2. Customer Service -5/5<br/>I was amazed how the waiter kept seeking for feedback and was open to critical ones too, now that's something a bit rare these days<br/><br/>Now let's talk about the most important thing, food<br/>2/5 - I know that goes against the majority of reviews but the food actually is bad. I tried it twice and they disappointed me 😔<br/><br/>I tried Bengali home style tender mutton curry and I couldn't eat even a single piece of it because it was not at all cooked, isn't that ironic as the name says "tender" . The curry was completely bland and there was absolutely no taste. Next I tried Chicken Kosha and it was good, don't expect authentic bengali taste.<br/><br/>Being a homechef myself, I thought to give them another try as everyone can have a bad day. I ordered Chicken Briyani Kolkatta style and to my surprise the rice was not cooked. Wooooow and it's dum Briyani, another irony.<br/><br/>Seriously folks, when you deliver such bad food at such a steep price, I can't help but call you off for once and for all.<br/><br/>There are better options mates so don't fool yourselves just by the look of the place😂<br/><br/>
PUFO😍😍
I was in pune for last two months. I visited this place for more than 5-6 times I guess that would describe how good it was.<br/>Bangali khawar -it was perfect blend of dpices and love. It was home away from home.<br/><br/>I had so many dishes there.<br/>Trust me nothing will disappoint you.
Pritanjan Shome
Before visiting, I saw a lot of frivolous reviews and was hesitant to give it a try. But, having visited, I would say that this restaurant was a nostalgia trip for me and my brother. Had jazz music playing on the background and the ambience made me feel as if I’ve gone back into time. The kobiragi was amazing, and the thali had food in abundance that it became very difficult to finish everything on the plate. The prawns and mutton was quite succulent, although I would have preferred a Bhetki Paturi instead of Basa. On requesting the owner to change the Dhokar Dalna, as I’m not a great fan of it, she did without any hesitation, how nice. The fritters were good but my favourite amongst all happens to be the Chutney.<br/><br/>I saw a lot of negative reviews here and would like to say that the tautology of price and quality made is unfair, for you cannot expect the prices and quality to be in par with Kolkata. For that somebody has to be in Kolkata( try decker’s lane for cheap food).<br/><br/>Would totally visit this place again.!

Authentic bengali cuisine. Delicious and affordable. Loved it. Must visit the place if you are craving for some really mouth watering bengali cuisine.

i went to Pune for a vacation last weekend .. and on reaching Pune airport i had a few moments of waiting time till my other friends (coming from different locations) would reach there ....so being a foodie as i am, i utilized that waiting time to search zomato and find a good eating outlet ... it's then when i came across this restuarant and decided to pay a visit .... and wow!! we weren't disappointed ....<br/>We had thali there ... and we didn't feel for any moment that we were outside Kolkata !! ... Authentic bengali cuisine ...at reasonable price !! .... the restaurant is not very spacious though ...maybe around 30 people approx can be accommodated .... the waiter was very cordial and approachable ...so full marks to hospitality .... the waiting time is a bit long though ... even for thalis ....<br/>Overall i would certainly recommend it ... and specially if u want good tasty authentic bengali food in Pune, this is the place to be ..

Surely a good place offering quality & authentic bengali food. Value for money, bengali style taste and flavor with right preparation.<br/>Though bit cosy in terms of space and need to offer home delivery to areas like Amanora/Magarpatta for longer term sustainability. Overall awesome experience and offers creditable choice of bengali & chinese food in surrounding localities having limited options.

A sudden craving for authentic Bengali food led us here. Everything we had was so delicious and the ambience was also quite good. Would definitely recommend this place! ♥️<br/><br/>:Food we had:<br/>Egg Devil<br/>Fish Fry<br/>Luchi<br/>Chicken Kosha<br/>Mutton Kosha<br/><br/>Food:<br/>⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>⭐⭐⭐⭐<br/><br/>Staff:<br/>⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br/><br/>Price:<br/>⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience. We had Egg Devil which took us back to our college days 😊. We also had fish fry which was amazing. After that we had Luchi and Chicken and Mutton Kosha for main course where were so authentic and full of taste that we were fully satisfied. Will surely visit again. ❤️

I really like the ambiance of the place..the food was awsum..the attendants were polite and friendly..really had a nyc time with my husband..
Priyanka Mulatkar
I ordered biryani and fish fry. It was not at all worth spending 555 bucks and getting low quality food. The kewda essence in biryani was so strong that u cannot eat it. Moreover the fish fry was packed all wet ( probably hot fish fry was packed which made it loose and wet). The all ruined my dinner as well as as time and hunger. Disgusting experience.

Loved the mutton kosha super delicious,<br/>The staff is very courteous and polite.<br/>Nice cozy and quiet place to enjoy your food and some Bengali music
Manoj Choudhuri
Nice bengali food, we tried dub chingri which was very good. Though the drinks they provide is not so good. It has nice ambience, nice staff as well<br/>
Soumalya Mukhopadhyay
Have been here couple of times. Best place to taste bengali cuisine if you are in Pune. Go for any of the fish preparations or in veg go for the Alu-Posto. If you are non-bengali and want to explore bengali food in restaurants. This is the best place.<br/><br/>Ambience is too good and cosy. Have went once with office colleagues as well who originates from diff state and they were mesmerised with the service, staff, food, ambience etc everything!!!<br/><br/>Only request is to stop putting service charges and let the customer tip as per choice.

Yesterday we went for Dinner & our experience was really dissapointing.. ambience wise the place is good..The staff was also nice but the food was not good atall.. in starters we had Egg devil & fish fry..both were ok ok types.the stuffing was not tasty..<br/>In main course we had chicken biryani which was not cooked well..rice was hard..n it had some artificial strong smell.. although the qty was preety enough but taste was not good atall..<br/>We ordered lacha paratha which was horribly bad..infact i have never tasted such bad lacha paratha ever..so guys never ever order that..moreover it costed Rs.60 each..it doesnt deserve to be costed Rs.10 also.. 😬<br/>Ordered chicken kasha desi murgi..the taste was equally bad...we told it not to be spicy but it was full of spice n only masala.. so i would give it 1 out of 10.. chiken was also not soft atall..it was hard to chew.<br/>Finally to cure our extremely spicy taste we order rosogulla...first horrible thing was it cost Rs.40 each with so small in size it must cost Rs. 5. Taste was soo soo but costed too much..<br/>Guys i wont recomend this restraunt atall as i was feeling ashamed to bring my friends who craved for some bengali food..In short the restraunt charged very high with low quality of food.... further try ur own Luck🙏

A soothing surprise, carrying the flavours of Kolkata in it's ambience and food, Eden Garden is definitely a restaurant to be frequented. The food is akin to Bengali homemade culinary treats and pairs beautifully with the Rabindra sangeet and subtle decor.

I was craving for some sweets and hence I ordered gurer payesh ( jaggery payesh) from eden gardens. Ironically this is the 2nd time when I had ordered gurer payesh and I received a regular white payesh.<br/>Very disappointed. If the item wasn't available, the order shouldn't have simply been taken<br/>The restaurant needs to ensure the correct item is delivered.<br/>Taste was average. Desert was too sweet.<br/>
Ankita Mishra
They have mistakenly delivered fish patori in place of paneer patori..they should have been more careful..otherwise rest of the items- dal cholar and veg biryani which we ordered were decent and tasted good...overall food experience was nice except goofup of fish and paneer patori
Tanaya Chanda
Let's begin with how cute the decor of the place is: quite warm and cute. The Bengali heart becomes really happy. The soothing Bengali music and with it the overall ambience is worth a try. The food was decent. Konsha mangsho (Dry chicken masala) is commendable. Also the kebabs. What did not live upto the amazing experience was the sweet. It was not fresh and could see the server taking it from the freezer in his bare hands/palms holding the rasgulla. Spoilt it for me. (Sadly) But other than that it was a wholesome place and experience.

Amazing bengali food. Very polite cooperative staff. The eden garden special non veg thali is must try. Was missing kolkata food so much. I regret not having visited this place earlier. The fish paturi, prawn malai curry was amazing. Usually when I order Mutton from other restaurants they rarely give good pieces. But here the Mutton piece was big and well cooked. Nothing in this world is comparable to good bengali food to me in this world but this place really serves the best authentic hygienic bengali food in Pune at very reasonable price . The staff thought earlier that probably we were non bengali. So they completely explained the dishes to us even though we knew about the dishes. It is good to know that they don't treat people who are not bengali any differently as I read in one review on zomato. And usually anywhere I try thali in India it's always a waste because they fill it with lots of crap that I don't eat but here at eden the items were well selected and the quantity was sufficient too. Well done. Definitely going to visit again.

This is a heaven for all bengali food lovers. We had a big family function and we have order food multiple times from Edens. Every time the food has been heavenly. Their Moong daal is outstanding and goes very well with steamed rice. For bengali food lover Shukto and Posto r two dishes that they care about a lot and let me tell you... Shukto and Posto that I had here hit close to home. The fish curry ( Doi Katla as well as normal fish curry) was very tasty too. But what I love most about their food is their Biryani. We order mutton biryani with chicken kosha<br/>The biryani tasted amazing. The mutton was well cooked and soft. It was not oily which I loved. The chicken kosha goes well with biryani as well as any type of roti. I absolutely loved the gravy of chicken kosha.<br/><br/>Overall I am extremely satisfied with the food of Edens and they will be my go to place whenever I want to have bengali style food.<br/><br/>We are also thankful to Sagnik who has helped us tremendously in coordinating and delivering food for 5 days at home.
Debapriya Mondal
Went there with my wife on the eve of Subho Nababarsho 1426. They had a special thali special for this event. Liked every food items apart from the sarshe mach. The fish was not Katla or rahu. Rest all items are very nice.
Aritraa Datta
To all the bongs in the city, this is the ultimate Bengali cuisine in Pune. The best best place to dine in. I recommend strongly to all the Bengali food lovers.
Anusha Anand
We entered the place because of the ratings on Zomato, only to find out that the waiter we got was mean (maybe because we were the only south Indians there). He was rude to us and kept hinting for us to leave. He rudely asked us if we don't want any main course, and we had to ask for the menu 4-5 times, after which another waiter gave it to us. He did not ask any other customers to eat quickly and leave, except us. Food was good, service was the worst ever.
Anjan Das
Mutton biriyani is great. The taste was quite similar to Arsalan but sure as a critic I would say there is scope for improvement. Chicken Kosha was also great in terms Bengali standard for food. The quantity of the food was also good . Special word for the quality of rice and chicken .. A very good option for Bengali cuisine in Pune.

Food is great here came here randomly hoping for good food and trust me it was great,I ordered chicken tikka butter masala, loved it.will surely visit again for rest of the menu.<br/><br/>

We ordered aloo posto and chicken biriyani which was pathetic woorsssstttt food ever had I don’t understand who gives 4 ratings to these restaurants biggggg noooo
Kunal Biswas
So dissapointed with the food. Ordered mutton biriyani ( kolkata style) . It was like a mutton curry with visible red chilli powder all over the mutton wrapped in yellow rice. Sorry to say this is the worst bengali biriyani i had in pune till now.
Souvik Dey
Been here just few min back with family.<br/><br/>Small cosy place. Courtesious staff.<br/><br/>We ordered<br/><br/>Sukto: 3 as u can see in the pic the quantity of oil/ghee as they claimed. Taste was not that authentic sukto, but some what like achari flavour.<br/><br/>Pabda jhal:3.5<br/><br/>Paneer chili: 4<br/>Fulkopir Dalna: 3 can't rate more than this. Average taste<br/><br/>Fried rice:3.5<br/><br/>One thing that I found not right is the service charge in the bill. Though I didn't opposed it as I already mentioned the staffs were very courtesious. But service charges must be communicated to the customer before it's added in the bill. Many restaurants have already waived this off. So it was little wierd to.me. any ways<br/><br/>Overall : 3.4

I have tried many bengali restaurants in pune but this one beats them all for sure. Very authentic preparations and great taste. Surely would recommended to people 👍🏽

NOT THAT GOOD<br/> 13 March 2019: After coming to Pune from Kolkata, I was craving for Bengali food. This place was recommended by a friend and I placed an order for pulao, sona moog daal, paturi and maach er kalia. The price is steep. But it was worthwhile, having a taste of good Bengali food after so long. Awesome!<br/> <br/><br/>April 2019: My experience was quite the opposite of the first one the second time I ordered from here. I had ordered pulao, cholar dal, fish paturi, and chicken (I think). The fish paturi was the only decent fare. The rice smelled of rose water and tasted funny. The cholar daal was not cooked; the chola were whole and hard. The meat too was not up to the mark. I am willing to pay for good Bengali food but this was a negative experience.
Udipto Ghosh
As the name suggests it's a bengali restaurant. Food is delicious. Biriyani, cutlets,<br/>Fish fry, prawns cutlets are just awesome. Thali is also delicious

We had visited this place along with my sister when we had visited her in Pune. The food is simply awesome. We had actually gone there to try out Kolkata biryani a delicacy which only Kolkattan's understand and especially those who stay out of Kolkata and really miss it in a world full of Hyderabadi Biryani!! This place hands down serves awesome authentic Bengali cuisine!! We had tried Koraishutir kochuri, begun bhaja, mutton and chicken Biryani, chicken kosha, kabiraji chicken and fish fingers and Loved it!
Sudipto Bakshi
A Great to dine in if you're looking for complete Bengali cuisine. The food tastes absolutely bangaliana. The ambience is polite and clean, kitchen is transparent so u can actually see your food being cooked. The space here is too less to describe the goodness of restaurant. Go there and you will return as "Monn poore khelam" . #PersonalExperience

Amazing ambience and a must visit place. Delicious food with a reasonable price.<br/>Recommended Dishes: Egg Devil ( a mouth watering starter); Nonveg Thali

Been here yesterday to relish some Bengali food. When u enter, you will find dirty Matt's to welcome u which doesn't match with good ambiance. Good presentation & tasty veg &non veg food. The staffs are very courtecious and good. Very nice food. We ordered, Egg devil, Chilli Mushroom, Paturi, veg jhalfrezi, bhuna mutton, peas katchori and payesh. All these items tasted really very good. The bhuna mutton, peas katchori and the starters are a must try for any foody. A must visit place for everyone.

Great food and ambience, felt like Kolkata! Had aloo posto after such a long time. Tried their paturi and mutton kosha as well. Really nice!

Went to this place with my family while I was in pune for a small vacation. I was in complete awe with the quality of their food. It was really very delicious and scrumptious. Peeps around Kharadi craving for Bengali food must give this place a try!

Although the ambience is good! Still the management is pathetic. For 2hrs they left me on hold and after all of this they are like your food has burnt therefore they were like can you wait for another hour😠😠😠<br/>

I have ordered Chicken Biriyani from Eden Gardens and the quality was substandard. The taste was not at all like Kolkata style and putting potatoes never mean that it will be of same taste like Kolkata Biriyani..Please don't cheat people with false hope..Very much disappointed with Eden Gardens. Moreover it was very oily and spicy.I will never recommend my friends to visit this place.

<br/>Cost: Rs. 1000 for 9 dishes and authentic Bengali experience.<br/><br/>We ordered a bunch of Bengali dishes all of which were yummy. 😋 The fish made in mustard sauce wrapped in banana leaf and the good old gud rasgulla were the star of the evening. Would highly recommend you to try seafood and desserts at this place. The chicken; though the curry was delicious with a hint of sugar, the chicken pieces were either overcooked or gone bad. We just couldn't chew it and hence, had to return it. Maybe that's something the restaurant can take care of.<br/><br/>To summarize, this place is home for every Bengali. The name, presentation and taste of the dishes, the music, ambience, decor and the staff, it's Bengal right in the middle of Pune. 😍
Varasidhi
Excellent menu choices and the dishes we ordered were very tasty. The Eden Gardens special thali was excellent and should be tried. Overall, doesn’t hurt your feelings wallet too.

Very nice and tasty food.we tried Bengali cousine. Quantity and taste really nice.customer care and ambience up to the mark. We will go there more times definitely.

NOT RECOMMENDED<br/>Service time is more than u can imagine<br/>Food is pathetic...<br/>We asked for tandoori chicken they gave us half cooked fried chicken....after waiting for 50 minutes<br/>Only soup was good<br/>Thali was never served...even after so long<br/><br/>Eventually we walked out and went to another restaurant<br/><br/>Can't trust them with good food<br/><br/>Staff and ambience is good ...but that Alone does not contribute in a good dining experience

One of my favourite restaurants. Its close to both my office and home and have been visiting the place quite regularly since last 1.5 yrs. I was very disappointed today by an absolute simple request which was sternly refused by the person who was taking the order. I usually have the regular veg thali and thats what I ordered today and asked them to provide kalakand as sweet which is the part of thali which they refused and offered gulab jamun. They started with serving kalakand as sweet on the thali but gradually changed with gulab jamun. Both are equally priced but still they are not ready to accept the request. Bdw I was ready to pay the difference amount as well which too was rejected by the staff.

This is the second time that I ‘dared’ to order chinese from eden gds and my goodness both times — I NEVER have had such insanely spicy and HOT chinese food ever! Who gives generous doses of red chilli powder in chinese dishes( for the record mushroom manchurian & sweet garlic sauce fish were the dishes) plus too much MSG also in the food brings down the taste. If I were to eat such super hot spicy that leaves you with smoke -coming -out- of -the -ears food I wouldn’t have ordered chinese. <br/><br/><br/>Tip: stick to the bong dishes ONLY if you are eating there, they are quite decent.
The MetroMan
One of the best authentic Bengali food restaurant Pune in Served in a very relaxed setting. Decore is traditional Bengali and just right .<br/> The staffs are professional and courteous. Great service.Food takes time to be served because it comes freshly cooked.<br/><br/>There’s great variety in the menu and some items are traditional Bengali food items which have been forgotten in the current era.
Priyanka Waghchaure
It was completely Bengali experience I had here !!! Beautifully designed, Excellent food quality and Bengali Music 👍.<br/>Not to miss the Durga Maa portrait on the entrance wall 😍<br/><br/>
Utsav Raha
We went to the restaurant for lunch and ordered beguni, rui macher kalia and bengali home style chicken curry along with steam rice. We were disappointed with the quality of fish and taste of the food. The items were not cooked well, perhaps prepared in haste and the chicken was too oily and spicy for our tastes.

Authentic Bengali cuisine!! I love the thali it’s just wow.. customer service was awesome, they made sure they were around every time when we needed them. Aalu chop was mouth watering and mutton masala was too good. Thanks for the great service!

If you are looking for awesome ghar ka bana bangali khana, this is your destination. The egg devil, fish paturi, bengali pulao, ilish bhapa was awesome.<br/><br/>Ambience: the upper floor was under maintenance when i visited this place last week. But they arranged seat quickly for us. Very pleasant vibe when you dine here. For me it was overall a nice experience here.

Moshezz Foodgasm @Eden Gardens Kharadi<br/><br/>Moshezz is a true blue Bong cat... Yes u got me right... She is a true Bangali... So when the stomach and mind in unison craved for yummylicious and tummyfullous Bengali food she drove all the way to Kharadi Eden Gardens with Ninjaa and Atrangii...<br/><br/>Parking the car was easy in the not so busy road towards Eon on a Saturday evening. She purred a bit and then walked into Eden Gardens. This was not her first time but she loves coming back here for more. For Ninjaa this was her first time Bong Bong cuisine tasting. The quaint small place has the charm if its own.. Beautiful memories of Kolkata and love for cricket rules this place. U can see pics of all the cricket Gods everywhere and a green carpet grass floor.<br/><br/>Moshezz quickly ordered for Fish Kobiraji and Paneer Pasanda Batter fried as recommended by the beautiful chef herself. Atrangii went GA GA over the fish kobiraji though Moshezz felt instead of Basa, bhetki would have been a better deal for the fish. Crumb fried to perfection as a kobiraji should be.. It did lack the zing of the bhetki Mach (fish). Beguni which is Ninjaas hot favorite Everytime Moshezz treats her to some did do justice in Eden Garden and was crumb fried and done to perfection. We all love Beguni.. Meowww!!<br/><br/>Main course followed with Green Peas kochuri and dhokar Dalna and mutton Bangladeshi with plain rice. The Kochuri was soft nice and well done up with good filling of green peas..very flavourful and subtle in taste and went well with the dhokar Dalna.. Though the dhokar Dalna could have been more nicely done. It tasted nothing like Bengali style dhokar Dalna but had a rich gravy and the lentil barfis were hard and dry. It tasted more like the north Indian gravies but if you do not know the taste of true Bong Dhoka then you will love it. Authentic.. Nopes but tasty. .. Indeed.<br/><br/>The star dish of the day was the Bangladeshi mutton. It just killed it right. Amazinnnggggg... Simply a sizer way off the boundary.... Perfect flavors of attar and kewra.. Keema Curry surrounding the mutton or guarding the three juicy pieces of mutton from all ends. Atrangii could not have asked for more with so much mutton... His fav... Moshezz Foodgasmed with just one bite of the dish with some steaming hot basmatiii.... Oh boy... This is how food should be.... Keep u asking and craving for more and more and more.... Ninjaa drooled on her Peas Kochuri and will come back for more too.<br/><br/>The service in Eden gardens is worth a mention too. They are warm and prompt. Always smiling faces and warm welcome. This place is gonna grow for sure. The food and the service definitely pulls u back and yes one suggestion for the Bangali heart... Moshezz craves some true bhetki fish to fall in love with you and create a long lasting love story with you forever and ever.

Good food.<br/>Good service. Authentic taste.<br/>Quite crowded on weekend. Takes time for food to come in but no compromise on the quality and taste.<br/>Great place.

Very disappointed with the quality of food. Saw good ratings and ordered. But the food was pathetic. Never going to order from here any further.

A very disappointing experience with Eden Gardens specially because we ordered for its great rating. <br/><br/>To start with - food preparation took 1.5 hours and was put ladt on the priority everytime we called to check the status. <br/>Clearly they are not serious about sentiments of the customers. Its karwachauth and making customers wait for food for more than 1.5 hours is inhuman to the extent.<br/>We thought that atleast the food is going to be worth the wait but No . <br/>Chicken in biryani and curry were uncooked and some pieces were overcooked surprisingly. <br/>The taste was bland and it is so painful to pay 1000 bucks for the food and finally dump it in the trash. <br/>We are very sure that the good rating on zomato are a big scam. <br/>Restaurant treated us badly on follow up, prepared our food after 1.5 hours and the food was absolute waste of our hard earned and much needed food.

I enjoyed the food after a long time in pune. Being a part Bengali family full of authentic cooks, comes an expectation of perfection in all items consumed. My Mum wanted to have a Bengali Veg thali n that met her expectation almost. She rated 3.5 out of 5 which is huge.<br/>My husband complained about the delayed service in serving and so he was not happy. However he liked the Fish fry Sona moog dal and White rice that we ordered from ala_carte. Mutton was pathetic.<br/>My 3 year old enjoyed the White rice with ghee they served.<br/><br/>My experience of Vegetable Chop and Fish fry was skyhigh and I loved them. Sona moog dal and bhat was also great. Mutton was pathetic.<br/><br/>They Dont charge for Gst thought they have Get number. The service was really dealyed. But overall 2.5 for service and 3.5 for food.<br/><br/>Looking forward for more experience with Eden Gardens.. With dine inn or take away or sure.

Well we went there to have a quite lunch with friends family. Looking at the Bengali menu we wanted to try out fish and chicken. We were very disappointed with the Fish fry as it was just an oil fry however to top it was also undercooked. The chicken chilly also was a disappointment in terms of the taste of Kolkata. Other items were okay.

Decent experience in this place, we entered into this place by looking at a board outside the restaurant of a pomfret thali, but then came to know that is on offer from next week, ordered for prawn cutlet , chicken American chopsuey and chicken manchow soup , overall decent food will go once again to specifically try out Bengali oriented dishes give it 5/5 for decor and ambience

Authentic bengali food. Every bengali must try this atleast once. Prices are somewhat reasonable. The stuffing inside parwal was delicious. Fish was tasty too.

I am a bit late putting in this review. However, this place doesn't go without being told about.<br/>I heard about this place from one of my friends and I visited this restaurant with 3 of my friends 2 days back.<br/>It's a well decorated authentic bengali restaurant.<br/>We tried their fish kobiraji and egg devil for starters. We ordered Bangladeshi Mutton Bhuna and Bengali style Mutton Biriyani for the main course.<br/>I would say the cook nailed it all! All the above mentioned dishes are a must try for all.<br/>The foods reminded me of the famous restaurants of kolkata.<br/>The staff were very courteous.<br/>We even spoke with the chef before leaving. The chef himself is from Kolkata and was very polite on his behaviour.<br/>He knows the exact needs to fulfill the desire of every bengali stomach.<br/>Overall a 5star place with 5star food and staff.<br/>Definitely a must visit place.

This restaurant serves good Bengali food in Pune. Try their authentic Bengali cuisine. They serve quite a handful of varieties. Lovely experience.

I love the rice with moong daal and katla kalia. A sumptuous afternoon meal. I liked the exact quantity of oil and the best blend of spices which makes a taste, that you will not forget for long.

As a Bengali and out of Bengal, I was enchanted to have a piece of my land in such a place. The overtly taste and flavour of Bhetki Paturi and mutton is a must. Maharashtrians in my list, if you are in Pube and want to taste Bengal in its originality, this is the place.

I found some amazing food here. Specially the way they cater putting forward some delicious flavours and melt in the mouth taste. Also, if you are looking for some really lip smacking starter go for any of the chicken Item on the starter list.!

1)Found a "COCKROACH " tday in the food. Aftr complaining, the owner didnt have the courtesy to come and say sorry abt it. 2)Also food was not served but rather kept on the table. 3)"Fish" nd "sukto" was ordered in the beginning, which came at the last nd by tht time we were already done. 4)A lot of "OIL" in the food. 5) On the top of tht the "SERVICE CHRGS" were taken.

Completely disappointed with my experience here. My husband heard good reviews about this place so we decided to try it out. It's a small place with cozy lighting.<br/>Without wasting much time I'm directly getting to the food we tasted.<br/><br/>Tomato basil soup 2.5/5 ~ It was okay! Tasted totally sweet and watery.<br/><br/>Masala Papad 4/5<br/>Probably one of dishes which tasted fine that afternoon. Crunchy and with right amount spices. Tasted perfect.<br/><br/>Roti and Veg Kadai 1.5 /5<br/>The Roti was fine but the bhaji was horrible. It was super spicy and the vegetables were undercooked.<br/><br/>Jeera rice and Dal 3/5<br/>The only dish that gave us comfort after such disaster was the dal. The quantity was too less compared to other restaurants but tasted really good.<br/><br/>Service<br/>Pathethic service! I've never given such harsh reviews to anyone but it deserves a mention. Every order took time to come. We placed main order well in advance as we were hungry, still they couldn't get stuff on time given only two tables were taken. They concentrate only on delivery orders and made us wait for a long time. The staff is not even bothered to clear the dishes once we completed our course of meal. Every time we had to remind them.<br/><br/>Overall, not going here again. Not recommended!<br/>

If you are craving Bengali food, this is the place to go.<br/>Service takes time, but the food is definitely worth the wait.<br/>I tried :<br/>Egg devil<br/>Luchi<br/>Aloo dum(finger licking good)<br/>Chingri malaicurry(must try)<br/>Ilish paturi<br/>Paneer Paturi( for my vegetarian friend)<br/><br/>The chingri malai curry was mind blowingly delicious.<br/>It was quite crowded even at 3pm which definitely shows that Eden Gardens has definitely attracted attention for quality bengali food.

I was craving for the Bengali food and was going through Zomato and found this place with excellent rating. Ordered begun bhaja (fried eggplant with Indian spices), macher matha diye moong dal (fish head cooked in moong dal) one of my favourite, mutton biryani and gurer payesh (rice pudding made with jaggery). The packaging of the food was excellent. Coming to the taste part it was yummy and I could imagine having Kolkata biryani at Park Street. It was a pure taste of home cooked food which takes you down the memory lane of your hometown. If you are looking for authentic taste of Bengali food then this is the place to eat. Will visit this place soon with family🤤🤤😘😘

Utterly underwhelming chicken biryani. Some rice tossed with masala two raw chicken pieces, unsalted patato and one boiled egg. Nobody could eat! Called restaurant to give feedback and all you get is thankyou for letting us know.

I was here last night with my family and ordered only vegetarian food even though the restaurant is famous for Bengali food, it was hands down the best tasting vegetarian food I have ever eaten in Kharadi area. Loved it

Though I'm a bit late in thanking you, for the arrangements you made on a special Bengali Ocassion..<br/>"JAMAISASTHI : a day when your mother in law will help you put on some weight😉😉 and gift your tastebud awesomeness with her recepies" ...<br/>As I moved to pune I thought I will miss it this year, however my betterhalf❤ had taken me here for dinner that day.<br/>The Special thali is so good... I can't resist.<br/>Bengalees traditional Dal(pulses), Rice, Mutton kasha( thick gravy Muton), and the Ilish Paturi ( a typical bengali fish recipe) all are so delicious and fresh.. Thanks to the entire team.. of Eden Gardens. ..<br/>Recently I had tried your other fish specialities also.<br/>PS: Bong or Non Bong,if you wanna taste Quality fish specialities do visit this place, I think they will fulfill all your expectations.<br/>Keep Rocking 🤘and what a fine Name!!!! 👍<br/>

Proper Bengali restaurant including staff and chef. Same goes for the food. Must try the Fish fry with mustard sauce, its delicious. And pomfret for main course. Definitely has the potential to be much more popular and crowded than it currently is.

Ordered chicken biryani, but it came without any sides like raita etc. The biryani taste was also rather bland, too many things in chicken biryani. It had potatoes too...

Being a pure vegetarian need guts to go in veg & non veg restaurant. I am big fan of Bengali food hence tried this restaurant. We ordered Bengali biryani, roti & veg jalferazi. All 3 veg dish was very prepared and tasty. Bengali biryani was very well prepared, vegetables were perfectly cooked and rice was well seasoned in ghee. Lip smacking food. Me and family really enjoyed the food. Portion of food is adequate for 2 and it is value for money.<br/><br/>Nice ambeince gives a feel of Calcutta (though I have never been to Calcutta 😂) and Hindi songs of Bengali singer Kishore da and Hemant Kumar made our day.<br/><br/>Service is prompt ( caveat we were the only customer at odd hour) and people are polite.<br/><br/>Have every reason to come back.<br/><br/>Eden garden keep up the good work!!
Tahera Tabassum
Visited eden gardens to get taste of some Bengali style dishes. <br/><br/>We ordered bengali style fish fry in openers, fish was soft inside and tasted ok. I found taste of salt missing from it, had to dip it with sauce to balance out the taste. <br/><br/>In main course we ordered basmati steam rice and katla kalia. It was really amazing. Rice was cooked perfect and katla kalia was amazing and enough for two people. <br/><br/>For desserts we ordered rasgulla which i did not find that tasty. It was ok. <br/><br/>Ambience is also lovely with soft music always being played.

Very bad Biryani .... it was full of spices and nowhere close to kolkata Biryani

I expect this restaurant to manage their place more professionally specifically when you are arranging food on special Bengali occasions. One can come into your restaurant and walk away without having food, and also making wait to old age people. Have some spirit in doing business and manage it professionally. Seeing your horrible service, I would not never recommend your place. Keeping a fancy bong title of restaurant will not help in growing business on a longer term. Best of luck. And Get Well Soon.<br/>
