Review Saptagiri Family Restaurant - Pune

I recently dined at this restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed with its ambiance and vibe. The starters, including the paneer chilli and paneer 65, were delightful. In the main course, the Veg Marathi was decent, while the tawa paneer stood out with its creamy and delicious flavor. The dal khichdi was soulful, and the jeera rice and dal fry were well-prepared. Additionally, they offer a selection of liquor. Considering the reasonable prices and the separate family seating, I believe this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a fine dining experience.

Awesome food... I was in for taking a parcel but it was ready quiet early... Overall the ambience is nice and you can have a few pints peacefully.

Visited Saptagiri very often. This restaurant is our go to spot when it comes to party with friends. Though thus place is also very good to go with family as well. Food is awesome, sometimes here and there happen but in these many visits food quality was good. Tandoori lollipop and Tandoori Baby Surmai are my favorite ones 😋. Prawns koliwada may be a disappointment after trying delicious baby surmai. We often end with Prawns biryani which is also recommended if you visit. If you can show the company ID, you can get 10% corporate discount. Just make sure you are letting this know to captain upfront before generate bill. Good restobar. There are separate sections for family dining. Ambience is good. Costs roughly 500 per person (only for food). Golden fingers in veg menu tasted really good.

Update Second visit was awesome... The third one was pretty good. These people are so professional that you cannot have a single negative experience here.. Wow.. Had a great evening with my family. Enjoyed the delicious food. Had Chicken platter, Handi, Mojito. Fruit punch was awesome. The service was very prompt, hot n tasty food and yes the ambience was quite...just what a family looks for

A lot of Drink & fooding option. Food & service everything was great. Just the atmosphere was a bit dimmer than usual liking. Colors could be more vibrant.

Tissue stand must be little more fancy. All other things were Mindblowing Hotel.

Well we went to this place for one of our friend's birthday party. We had chicken tikka and pahadi kabab. Both the starters were pretty decent.<br/>In main course we had murg musallam which came in huge quantity and was the best dish of the night.<br/>It is a huge place with lot of sittng area.<br/>The only downside of this restaurant is, it is litle costly and drinks are also too costly.

Had ordered chicken tikka biryani. Chicken pieces were nicely cooked and had a strong tasty flavour. A bit spicy than expected but worth a try.

I'm a big fan for this restaurant..I am a regular visitor to this place since I was 10 years old...they serves very tasty dishes...the quality of the food is same for last 15 to 18 years..staff is very friendly..

This place is awesome for little drinks parties, they provide very good range of starters, especially into non veg. Mutton Rogan Josh is my favourite dish, must try with Tandoori rotis.

Not happy with the quality and test of veg starters and main course which i ordered.. the experience of non.veg food is much better.. i recommended not to eat veg food compared to non veg.. the amount of money spent is not worth

Best place in nigdi- akurdi area to try out some non-veg options. Good ambience. Service is also pretty fast. Prices are to normal. Must try Saptagirii Special in main course and chicken tandoori in starters. I think they are the best over here.

Good quantity.<br/><br/>Murgh Musallam - Its the most highly priced gravy on the menu but it cost is explained very well by its quantity. 6-8 people can share this one. Another favourite joint where we enjoy with office colleagues. Alcohol, Food and Friends....Lot of after office stress busting gatherings we had. Food is average and Service is a bit slow. Who cares abt service when you are with friends

Nice restaurant around nigdi area, for both day and night time. Mostly it is available for party of corporate as well as family. Family section is different and nice. Food is good for non vegetarian people. Veg mostly not tried but it is also somewhat good.

What I liked most is the service. Very customer focused and quite fast. We had chicken drumstick and crispychicken. Both quite good. The main course chicken handi was also yummy. Chicken Biriyani is average.

One of the famed bar restaurants(owing to the fact that it is surely crowded even on weekdays by the alcohol guzzling crowd) that also accommodates the families under separate seating as such,Saptagiri remains a quick getaway option though reviewing it never passed my mind as such.<br/> Over the years,the quality factor might have deteriorated but yes,it still remains a reliable option due to it's pretty decent service and not so bad ambiance.<br/> We went in for a quick dinner here and our order comprised of Masala Papad(decent),Paneer Shanghai(A new dish here,a Paneer 65 variant with a twist,good),Veg Raitha(good),Paneer Handi(satiating though could have been better),Kulchas and Rotis in the flat bread and Fresh Lime Juice.<br/> The dishes we ordered were decent enough but none stood out as such for a recommendation.The prices incurred at the end were close to 1000 bucks(GST included) which didn't feel justified enough for the food but yes,the service was great.<br/> Overall,an averagish place that needs to improve on certain aspects aforementioned and can surely match up to it's yesteryear name. :)

The quantity is something they need to understand ...as when compared with restaurant alike them which cost lower than them and serve alike taste food ..the Saptagiri quantity severs only single person if hungry..so less points

I have been to this place so many times and it has never failed to satisfy with their service and food.<br/>Due to highway law, alcohol has been banned here but still a good place for food.<br/>Each and every food item is tasty here.<br/>When they used to serve the alcohol, the best part were their snacks provided along with liquor.<br/>Chicken Malvani, chicken crispy, chicken tikka are all time favourite here.

The best I could find in the area. We ordered Chicken Achari Kebab, Chicke hong kong and Chicken Handi, Everything was good, perfectly spiced and served in ample portions as well. would come back If I happen to be in the area.

Ambience is good. The family rooms & the bar have been separated. The food is quite overpriced. However , it makes a good place for once in a blue moon weekend dining. Beverages are not overpriced. I love the Roti Basket & Veg dishes. The non veg dishes are over priced & not up to the mark.  However, Chicken handi & chicken crispy is good.

One of the oldest hotel of Nigdi.<br/>Taste is above average , but not sumthing you can die for. Ambiemce is ok ok .<br/>For families seprate rooms makes great experience. Service is also good . All waiters are goood. Price compare to all things are much high.

Yet another place with nothing special.... Regular taste, Ambience... Soup was good, but starter was disappointing.. We tried Panner Punjabi which was as any regular panner sabji...

It is a good restaurant......Taste was good.....I ordered veg crispy in starters and the crispy was awesome and the main course was also good.....I liked the ambience and the service was quite good. I would like too go second time.

What to say....<br/>The day my family is out of town and I am hungry, then this is my location for food.<br/>Good taste, Good service, perfect location and great atmosphere.<br/>Chiken Handi and Panner hot oan starter are my fav....<br/>In Drinks I love the way it is made and awesome surrounding for drink section,<br/>Good thing I found is, different places for each section...<br/>Drinks, Family AC-NON ACDrinks with Smoking and Drinks without smoking too...<br/>And no sections are disturbing to each other. Thats a good....Rates are also not too much high...

This place i am visiting since last 10 years and must say there quality is still the same and yes i love there Chicken dish & Fish as well. The best of there dish is Chicken China Town. They do prepare it with perfection everytime.

Visiting Saptagiri from last 15 years regularly. The taste & quality of food is constant. Will recommend for everyone. Must visit if residing in Pimpri Chinchwad.

A good place to go for Chinese starters like crispy chicken and the chicken man chow soup also the manglorian chicken curry is good to try with appam all in all a average place to go to.

This is my third encounter with place.This is a quite big place with different sitting facilities as in indoor ac with no smoking allowed and open air. Nice place if you want to try kababs and tandoors. Food is good and the value for money is awesome to the quality of food they provide. We tried tangdi kabab and mallai kababs. Used to frequents this place before renovation started. Now, it's a congested joint for dinners. No idea why they don't allow non boozers inside the new building. Courteous waiters. Boozers parsdise Saptagiri. <br/>Typical sexy type Chinese starters like Chkn Lolipop. Main Courses r good. Some good chicken starters too. Chicken 65 and Chicken Chilli are good. Amboence is fine. air condirioned. Situated in heart of Nigdi and one of the oldest buildings on Mumbai Pune road. They have a separate huge family room. Ample parking space too. Mochtails, drinks, Tandoori Chicken served was fresh and well cooked. Friendly staff and educated captains. Good dining experience always. All over, A good exp. Saptagiri - An old name now. Nice.

No - you wont find any of the seven hills here. In fact this is an underground restrau located on highway but not easily visible, except for its hoarding. The place is flooded with boozers all around the place. In my early corporate days, I frequented the place as it was easy on pockets. Families are visible but there is no definite distinction between the two sections. The food taste is average just like another one. Apparently, the environment turned gauche and not so welcoming. Not so recommended one.

Decided to give it a try at the end of the last month.. An open hall was where we sat.. It was nice and spacious.. The crowd started pouring in after 10 pm for drinks and late night meal.. The waiters were courteous.. The price seemed okay.. The food did not.. The special drinks that we ordered from the menu were not available and we had to resort to the usual.. <br/>With nothing home to write about except the courtesy and the open hall , it's strictly an average place..
