Review Hotel Torna Restaurant - Pune

Good taste and quantity which I found for a KG Chicken Dum Biryani. Got ample pieces and rice as well and it tasted little spicy as required. Must try as it's a good option for Biryani on Porwal Road.

Actual Rating 3.5<br/><br/>Torna is located at Porwal Road, Dhanori Lohegaon and serving Tandoor, Chinese and Sea Food items.<br/><br/>They have three sections of seating area and we opted for the family section. Ambience is dark like typical bar and restaurant types with Lower level sofa sitting and tables. It wasn't much comfortable as the table and sofa's distance was more then actually required.<br/><br/>Service was as worst as it could be. Each item we ordered took atleast 45mins to come to our table which needs big time improvement. There was only one staff who was serving in the family section area who was courteous and served us happily.<br/><br/>I liked all the chicken dishes here right from Starters to Main Course everything was perfect but fish items was not great as it was not fresh.<br/><br/>• Chicken Banjara Kabab - Nice and fresh tender chicken was very well marinated and there was cheese sprinkled on top making it more yummy. The taste was excellent and even the salad served with it was nice and spicy.<br/><br/>• Surmai Tandoori Fry - Even though I loved the taste of marination but because fish not being fresh it was not tasting good.<br/><br/>• Murg Mussallam - This is one of my favourite Main Course dish and with Butter Rotis and Naans this taste heavenly. It is one such main course which has not yet disappointed me anywhere i had it.<br/><br/>• Harabhara Kabab and Veg Kadai was has by my vegetarian friend and she too liked her food.<br/><br/>My overall verdict of this place is good but I still feel they need improvement in lot of parameters. Staffs were very welcoming. I would like to visit them next time to see if they improved. Its One of the place in Dhanori for having good food and drinks at the same time.😃

Torna is like the oldest place in Dhanori. It has stood by while everything around it got developed. It recently got a facelift. It has car parking for about 3-4 cars few steps away from the restaurant. Bike parking available. Torna is divided into 3 floors, family section is mostly deserted and not well maintained. The middle section is indoors has a small tv and decent seating capacity. Personally I prefer the terrace seating where they have a big projector and covered roof. I found the service to be very nice and attentive and friendly. Food is exceptionally tasty. I have tried masala papad, adraki tawa chicken, murg lapeta, angari kebab which they light up in fire with alcohol (really interesting). Kulcha and butter roti were also very well made. Good rates for liqour. Complimentary snacks served if you order nip. They also serve sea food and malwani. Mostly a guys place but no harm if you visit with family who don't mind people drinking around them.

Pathetic service.not so good food nd hygiene. arrogant staff.beer here tastes like soda water.consistently bad service and they have attitude for that too.

It's a bar rather then restaurant.<br/><br/>Food quality is not very good. <br/><br/>Parking is a problem. You need to park your car little far from this place which is shared with another restaurant.<br/>There are 4 types of seating setup<br/>Roof top - A typical chaotic setup where waiters are clueless, overloaded don't take notes when you orders. Food quality is horrible.<br/><br/>2nd Floor - A family seating setup with AC. Never experienced this place.<br/><br/>1st Floor - Setup 1 is Non AC enclosed room. Too much noisy. Setup 2 is enclosed AC room. Again too much noisy but better than other 2 which I have explored.

Want to visit a bar in dhanori area then this is the only one so you don't have any other option. Looks like a highway side dhaba bar, however it's completely safe for ladies as they have a separate area for ladies and families to sit. <br/><br/>As far as alcohol is concerned, the rates are really good. However you don't have good options in food. Very less portions served for the kind of place at the prices that they are offering. Taste is also not that great. <br/><br/>I would suggest that you should go there just for cheap drinks, as it is they serve boiled peanuts and masala boiled chana free with every drink. And then have a hearty dinner or lunch at agatya restaurant just opposite to torna. They serve awesome food. This way you can have a complete highway dhaba experience which would be economical as well as safe.

You need improve your service, i am very disappointed with your service, you are not giving any attention to your customers.................
