How can a place be so promising? I mean whatever we have ordered from the menu in our more than 30-35 visits, we always... I mean ALWAYS had amazing experience! Decent price, awesome quality and incredible taste!

Superb! I tried Kashmiri Kahwa for the first time. It was amazing, green tea with lots of nuts and a short hair of kesar in the cup, simply different expirience altogether. They also have allied snack options if you are starved for the evening and want to have a light snack before dinner. Ambience and service add a dash to the dusky evening, in a good manner!

Nice little place to hangout, business meeting not like Starbucks or even CCD but a decent and economical please at very convenient location in Kothrud. Kashmiri Kahwa is my favorite.

Good Service. Good location. Good food. And nice staff. Good Interior and clean. This cafe can be easily noticed from road. Located near Hotel Yatri, Karve Rd.

You can have sheesha(hukkah) here. The coffee was good, onion rings were a total lost cause.

This Cafe is exactly the quiet place where you can pull your friend out and have good food. The Coleslaw Sandwiches, Masala Chai and Stuffed Mushrooms are awesome. 😍
Pranav Bachal
Lovely food with a unique taste! Try the cafe frappe! And the pizza. The manager scooped us soon ice cream in our order. It’s a chill place.

Great ambience! Coleslaw sandwich, kahwa chai, and soups are a must try! A wonderful experience if you are looking for good food and a peaceful chat with your company.

Kahwa cafe has a good ambience. A really good cafe to chill with your friends and loved ones

I had ordered cheese fries and hot chocolate.

Cheese fries were good but a bit disappointed with hot chocolate.

It could have been better.
Good Staff... Good place... too chessey 😍
Clean and Neat...
Follow for more @_foodict_ on instagram...
One thing I love about this place is that they love chips a lot so they serve a lot...😂
Sneha Jondhale
I love the fettuccine in white sauce with paprika here..
Otherwise nothing special about this place.. Whenever we have visited this place, it was empty.. So you can sit here for long discussions.. Service is slow.
Variety is less but tasty.

This cafe has lots of potential due to its location but they some strange and inconvenient rules.

They don't allow charging of laptops. Even though someone has some work to do or present something to someone, they don't allow to plug it in.
Then I question myself, is it really a cafe?

You must order something within 10mins after you arrive. Otherwise waiter will roam around your table, ask every now and then What's your order.

Talking about Food, it isn't that appealing. I can understand Cold Coffee, for that matter all Shakes are Cold in nature but how can a Mocha or Latte or Cappuccino be cold while serving. Chocolate and other Shakes are quite nice though.

Food: 2/5
Service: 1/5
Ambience: 4/5
VFM: 1/5

Major disappointment! I dont know what is wrong with these guys. Food is very weird. Cant say good or bad but its very weird. We ordered paneer 65 and they gave us few paneer cubes floating in some tadka water full of red chillies and mustard. It was tasting watery and extremely weird. Same with the coffee. First of all we ordered coffee and the waiter said they don't have milk. You run a cafe and you don't have milk is absolutely abnormal according to me. Then we asked for a black coffee and they managed to make a normal black coffee taste horrible.
Shailesh G
Paid for a burger that had pubic hair!
Paneer 65 came in a yellow coloured soup.
Actually, that doesnt matter I suppose. Nothing beats PUBIC hair in your burger and on the chips. Yay!

Kindly come and enjoy their special PUBIC HAIR BURGER. You are welcome :-)

Second home for me lovely place best cheesy garlic noodels and schezwan fries are worth dying for.. pan shake is the usp of this place its probably the best in the world
Very Disappointed
It was a regular afternoon. The cafe was empty- I seemed to be the first customer of the day. The waiter knew nothing about anything on the menu. He doesn't answer questions or show even the slightest expression. HE JUST STANDS THERE LIKE A WAX STATUE. My colleague asked for a hot coffee and a bearded young man who was supposedly the 'Manager' was very irritated upon this request. He rudely said--' Sir there is no hot drink available. If you want a hot coffee I can give you water mixed with sugar'. We ordered two Maggis. We were the only customers and the Maggi took 30 minutes to be served.

I really wonder what the chef was doing in the kitchen all this while. Was he playing cricket? Was he watching a movie? Was he taking a nap? It will forever remain a mystery to me. I am usually a very adaptive and accommodating customer but Kahwa just ruined my afternoon and looted me. 60rs+ 30 minutes wait for a flat plate of noodles. A cafe that markets itself as a coffee and snacks place has now reduced to a room that serves very delayed Maggi. Walking into this cafe is like walking into another dimension--people are weird and nothing makes sense.

My rating: NEGATIVE 100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

I love this place specially for three main reasons :

1: They serve good drinks / frappes / soft drinks.
2: The sitting arrangement is super comfy.
3: You can sit for as long as you want.

The serving time is super slow but then it's justified as they don't make you leave the place once you are done with eating/ drinking whatever you have ordered.

The drinks/ frappes are good in quantity and decent in taste but the snacks you order might not be enough for you. They are little less in quantity and leave you unfilled at times.

But over all people usually don't go for quantity or the serving time or anything else when it's a group of 6-7 who just want to pass good chatter time.

"kahwa"
I was fascinated by name of the resto and have always wanted to visit.
But my visit here was a mere disappointment, I visited here to spend some good time with a friend of mine.
Ambience location and confort was all good but unfortunately food did not play any role making this "good time"
I had ordered Onion Rings , Paneer 65 and Choklate Milkshake, of which only onion rings was a little ok.
They have their own reciepi for Paneer 65 and it is nowhere mentioned in the menu card that they cook it their own way and not by using the authentic reciepi. It was in some white sauce with cherry in it (i have no idea why they had cherry in Paneer 65).
It tasted worse and i could not have more than a bite.
Coming over to choklate milkshake it was very sugary, More than what it is supposed to be.
Bad experience never visiting again..!!!
Used to visit this place years ago only for hookah and some of its food items as it has been reopened for hookah I was a bit excited to visit it again and when I did it was so disappointing . They have the same old hookah menu that's good but the prices for a dull place like that , not happening for me . It used to big and nice but now they have just 4 tables and regular flavours for high price . If you happen to go then eat schezwan fries for sure

To be honest , the name Kahwa and a deep fascination for Kashmiri culture and cuisine has always attracted me to this place. Kahwa is the Urdu word for traditional green tea preparation consumed in the Kashmir valley. Don't get your hopes high as this place doesn't live up to the expectation. A very envious location on Karve road right after the Paud Phata. Ample parking space available.
Ambiance: Comfortable chairs and table. Simple arrangement. Dim yellow light. Couple of very beautiful paintings of Buddha and of a lady liven up the walls. Good music and the light make you comfortable to have a quite conversation while having your tea.
Drinks: Have had the green tea and Macchiato here. Both below expectation. Green tea too flat and simple. Macchiato was not hot enough. Total disappointment.
Food: Limited options. No non vegetarian food. Bombay Burger was a big disappointment. Nothing about the burger was right. Thank god for the French fries which saved the day. Good quantity ,non oily and crispy enough. Cuisine needs a serious overhaul.
Service: Prompt. Polite staff.
Kahwa is a good place to hang out considering its location and ambiance. Qualitative improvement in food and drinks might take it a notch higher!

We went to this café recently. Experience was a mixed bag.
Ambience:
Was okay. A calm and nice place to sit and enjoy coffee and snacks. Nothing much else to write about here.
Food:
The French fries were quite good, intact would recommend them. For those who love them and know the difference between good and bad, definitely should try them. The frappe with mint flavour was also unique and highly recommended!! Vegetable burger very bland, please avoid. A roadside thela would serve a better burger. Also Pander Chilli Mill - pathetic (absolutely). Wonder what recepie are they using.
Service:
The waiters are well spoken and courteous. But food service - Damn slow.

So to summarize based on my one visit would recommend just for coffee and the fries.

A wonderful place to visit. Despite the fact that it is on a main road, it quite quiet on the inside once you take your seat. Dim yellow lights, two big paintings hung on the wall and the aroma of coffee lingering in the air. This is the ambience. They have a nice simple menu, not too long or complicated.
Cheesy potato fries are tasty; fries are sprinkled with some spices topped with cheese. Café Frappe is one of the best you can get. A bit on the thicker side though. Choco Frappe is like chocolate milkshake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Their hot coffee is one of the best I had.
Service is prompt. Polite staff. Ample parking space. A great place to hang out.

The ambience is calling and therefore we took the call one fine evening.
The moment we entered it felt good, but as we sat, it started to bore us.
Though they are known for their coffee, our experience was not good, mocha was like bournvita and the hot chocolate was more hopeless. The sandwich was fine.
Palak Bhambri
I had loved the chai when I first came to this place. What made my experience absolutely pathetic was the music which is plainly put very out of place for a cafe. The pop tunes are a turn off and nobody can enjoy some nice conversation. Moreover, when told to lower the volume I was bluntly refused by the manager who knew me as a frequent consumer. Sheer arrogance might kill the place, if the drinks don't.

Decent cafe on such a crowded road. We sat in outside region which in the back side of this cafe. service was very good. It was my first visit so tried only shezwan fries. Didn't liked it much. Would prefer regular fries.
Would like to try other items from their menu on my next visit.

For a place that serves such good coffee their service is a mighty let down. Staff with frowns on their face and just unenergetic and sad... That said this place would have been fantastic had it had better music and enthusiastic and friendly service staff. Not taking away from this cafe they do serve brilliant coffee.
Vedang Shevade
Amazing! Been there after many years and surprised to know that everything is still the same. Had Schezwan Fries, Russian Salad and Mushroom Cheese Balls followed by Black Beast coffee. All items were very well prepared. Just loved them. Coffe was amazing. Need to improve serving time. That's it.

Okay. Although being off the very busy Karve road this place is really dull. As soon as you enter your mood takes a downward fall. They serve good coffee. And if you really are a coffee lover you can give a shot to irish mocha there. All said and done, this place needs a serious overhaul.
Rajlakshmi
Kahwa scores well in both, taste and ambience. I strongly recommend the Irish Mocha which is a delight for coffee lovers. The schezwan fries are well seasoned and have a balanced taste.
Overall, be it a quick coffee outing or a well planned meet Kahwa sets the right mood.

Yesterday I made a visit to kahwa cafe. I was a little excited about their menu and speciality of cafe. But as soon as i entered in cafe my excitement goes on decreasing. I really like coffee very much hence i was asking the staff about their speciality in cafe bt staff was not able to explain any of cafe described in their menu. It was very annoying and make me to flush my expectations from Kahwa cafe. I order their special Kahwa cappuccino. Rates are reasonable but still I don't find any specialilty in that kahwa cafe. It was just like an ordinary cappuccino nothing else.
The staff was looking tired and not interested to give suggestions for placing orders. Frankly speaking I have a very bad experience in Kahwa cafe about their service.
Kahwa cafe you have to make changes in your service.

If you want a place where you can sit and talk without disturbing sounds then this is it.
And it makes good coffee. And good green tea. It should make better French fries and rolls but its okay. It has a good ambiance.
Uma Kulkarni
Decent coffee and chai. But the real scene stealer is their Maggie. The best one I've had. Its totally worth trying.

It would not be an exaggeration if I say this is the worst place I have ever been to.
I went out there along with a friend and was shocked by the pathetic service.

First, the management clearly does not understand the basics of doing business.
The place sucks in its STP - segmentation, positioning and targeting.
Why do I say this - The place charges you a premium like CCD but actually you get a cheap service. I would have been better off having a tea/coffee at a roadside place than this.
The place is very small and they have stuffed like 10 tables in that space. If I could just move my hand a little sideways, I can reach to the dish of the person sitting on the adjacent table. WTF ! If I wanted such an ambiance I would have gone to some cheap roadside coffee shop. People need privacy and a little space in a coffee shop. IF only the pathetic management of this place could understand.

Then comes the service offered by the employees. We ordered an ice cream and a coffee. Also additional chocolate sauce. What did the waiter tell ? "Chocolate sauce ka extra charge lagega" As though we could not afford that. To top all of that, this place did not have ice creams when it is summer. Are you kidding me ?
The quality of the drinks was below standard. The drinking water provided by the staff had a foul smell.

As I was wondering why on earth did I come to this place, I got the biggest shock of the day.
The electricity went out. So we were sitting there in the dark and none of the employees thought of lighting a candle.
Had I not been with my friend, I would surely have given the management a good piece of mind then and there itself.

I would never ever go to such a place again and I request to whosoever reading this not to go there. Worst place ever.

Nice ambience... Reasonable price ... And peace... The cafe is designed beautifully... Less crowded... So going over to this place is always soothing... All the items on menu are good... They nice burgers and coffee.. But yes dun try the bombay burger... Its vada pav actually... The maggie they make tastes almost like pasta... A must visit cafe in kothrud
Sankalp Parihar
Ok now this place needs some serious overhaul.
There is no non-veg on the menu/ no alcohol and nothing else that seems to be going for this place.
The music is tepid/ the ambiance nothing worth noting/ and the menu-well just veg!
The only thing you can be assured of in this place is seating since hardly anyone seems to visit it.
Kahwa Cappuccino and Vegetable burger border on delicious considering the bang for the buck.
The location seems to be the only saving grace as of now. The setting is pretty ordinary and the decor nothing worth a mention. It seems like a mom-n-pop cafe established post their retirement. It has a familiar homely charm but also the lack of the feel of an outing. However, at the price points it serves: it seems decent enough.
This place seems to be stuck in time and exudes the old world coffee place setting. They need to realize that other coffee outlets have changed the game.
Overall:
Food: 8.5/10
Ambiance: 6/10
Accessibility: 9.5/10
Service: 8.5/10
Overall Experience: 7.5/10
Would I recommend: Yeah may be

I really have nothing much to say about this place...except that its pretty dull and boring. :(

Situated on the busy street, off Karve road....this place really doesnt do anything in terms of attracting customers.

Kahwa cafe.... basically serves variety of Tea and Coffee... ( Hookas are closed long ago )... and Sandwiches etc..

The rates are economical....but then the portions sizes are small as well...
Service is slow,.. ambiance is nothing to write about...

I thought maybe the 1st time, i was just unlucky... but then again...on my 2nd visit, it was just as dull and boring !
I go out of the way sometimes, to meet friends, some place else... But never feel like going to Kahwa , even if its on the way.

Overall... this place did Nothing to impress...
I'll give it a miss...

First look-charming. Like, the place you wanna be at. To hang out with buddies.
Ambience-pleasant. Won't let you down.
Food-bang for buck.
Staff-waiters are amazing. The guy taking orders can be trained in HR. He says there's no WiFi when its clearly seen in the phone that there's WiFi.
Final verdict-only minus, the lie. Else, the place you wanna go with buddies to catch on. :)
AP
Quite surprising.. It's pretty neat in terms of food and beverages. Place is clean. Service is typically Indian, "we don't care".
Tea (all types) is recommended for you if you are reading to understand what to order. If you are not much of a tea fan but forced to meet up there by someone then order masala chai.
Snacks didn't taste except for fries in schezwan. The sauce tasted more like Hunan so I stuck to tea.
ManNik Sharma
This place doesn't seem like it can have something good for a foodie. But the place would surely surprise you with its coffee's especially the variety in cold coffee's. The 'Kahwa Tea' is also very good. It doesn't disappoint with the food items as well. Whether you have a burger or a pasta, all have a decent taste and with the price given you would visit here again. The food is not authentic but it is very tasty and prices are decent so you must try this outlet.
Abhijeetm4437
was one of the good place I knew nearby.....but now its like all gone....guys plz do something....we miss your old charm

Hookas are closed here.. nothing bad can happen over this..
A nice place for a good conversation, pleasant atmosphre, decent staff, Hot energizing coffees, Huge masala chai pitcher, and pathetic food..Yes you read it right.. U can alays go for their coffees and beverages but not their food..

Prefer to hang off at some nearby hawker rather than eating over here..
Worst experience of experimenting with some chinese stuff der.. (paneer chilly)
They were jst raw paneer pieces without even coated with some flour and the gravy was nothing but a pond of some extra sour vinegar..
But i really blame myself for this.. how can i expect a cafe to serve me some gud chinese food??

The rates are nominal but again the portion is very less..not sufficient for even 1 person.
Do try their Kahwa Mocha and Hot chocolate..Worth having..

Overall: 2.5/5

Used to be one of the busiest hookah place, now it's nearly deserted in the evenings. Even with hookah gone, the food items here are quite different than the usual coffee shop. Some worth mentioning are - Supreme Maggie, Creamy Cheesy Garlic Noodles, Laguna Supreme, Penne Arabiatta, Spaghetti Neapolitan and my personal favorite: Schezwon fries.
If you live in the area around Paud Phata / Dashbhooja Ganpati temple, this is still a decent place to hang out, even without hookah.
