Review Ghar Kaa Khaana - Pune

Viren Dige
This location inside Vision 9 mall is better than earlier one. Good food. Quick service. A few items are little oily to call them homely. But most of the menu is good for repeated visits.
Gagan Chhabra
I ordered food for a family Function. Food was fresh and tasty. Quantity was more than enough. Everyone loved the paneer dish. Boondi raita and mix veg was prepared in proper North Indian style.🙂 One time delivery. Highly recommended.
Abhishek Saini
Value for money. Bought Dal and paneer items multiple times. Great in taste. Ambience, sitting arrangements and hygiene (Small and congested kitchen) can be improved. But, totally recommended for North Indian veg food. Feedback attitude can also be more receptive.
riyaz mulla
Nice Veg product really like as a name Ghar ka khana
Vrinda Tayade
Food is good. But sweepers throw dirty water from top floor. So I was thinking that owner should complain this to housekeeping dept of vision9 mall. hygiene is most important
Komal Anadkat
Ordered food from GKk twice in last week....Food was super yum, homely and freshly made...Ordered paneer Punjabi, chole and dry mixed vegetable...family loved all three.... dry mixed veg was our favourite....Highly recommend this place
tany Dave
Pros: Food test is good. One can have on daily basis. I prefer thali option. Cons: Seating space is little less. Sometimes card payment did not worked as machin was not working they told.
Amit
Reasonable n tasty food. Quick bytes possible. Uncle were friendly for talking n helping menu items. Good experience till now.
Ankit Jain
Ghar ka khana is a very good place for those who want to have simple home alike food outside home. They have different variety of thalies that varies on number of veggies and rice in plate. They also have a good vegetarian menu but don't have tandoori options.
tarun khatri
Good options for veg food. You can also go for thali. Served hot tawa roti like home made. Fast service. Ideal for bachelors. Free parking in mall. Situated in middle of Pimple Saudager. Must try chass (butter milk). -1 🌟 for ambience. Small space.

One evening i went to this place which is inside vision 9 on ground floor.
Just had simple dal fry and butter roti with chaach.
It indeed was a homely meal to say the least. Chaach made the experience worthwhile.
People, if your cooks are on leave and you crave home cooked meal then you must go. I went with a friend on his recommendation.
JugaaDu Chef
Nice homely and hygienic food.. The quantity and quantity is good. I had Palak panner and bitter gard fry with rice kheer... the good thing is they provide variety in vegetables daily. Decent pricing and average packaging but with homely taste so its worth it.
Srishti Pansari
Good food.
Good quantity.
Food is tasty.
Economical.
Aunty is nice and sweet.

I gave it two stars because the roti was good but the veg sabzi ordered was having some foul smell. The next morning I fell ill and my daughter had food poisoning got it checked from doctor. Everyone may have different experiences but why take a chance. The choice is yours..
Palash
Thank you so much for make my Lunch good.
I had good food for my lunch from this restaurant.
My order was chicken curry and tandoori roti.
Chicken curry was good and teasty but little sweet.
Quantity was lots that I can't eat the complete package.
So it's a humble request to you please make a small package with less price for those people who eat like me. I mean to say very less quantity.
You will get your valuable price and coustomer will be happy and satisfied.
Most important thing is food will never be wastage.
I hope you understand my point.
Thanks.

Feeling home sick? Hit this place to have home made home style food. Food here feels like it is cooked at home with minimum spices and full on taste. They offer thaalis having combination of daal and sabzi having choices between two options of both. There are other menu items like ala carte and chole bhature which are pretty decent too.
Anjan Singh
I mostly order dal makhni from dis place. But dis tym i ordered dal fry, it had amazing taste. Not oily. It felt like homemade... Hats off to ghar ka khana team n cook. Keep up da amazing food as it is.
Saurabh Thakre
Very average hotel with very average service. Taste is also not up to the mark but what is more disappointing is service . It took them more than 40 min to give me thali wherein sabji already prepared
Mohit Arora
A perfect place for simple, economical yet delicious North Indian food. Not too spacious but you can definitely get take aways orders. They serve healthy, less spicy and less oily food and definitely justify their outlet’s name. Must try for bachelors 😉
Rahul Pimpale
Had the royal meal rice plate.
Ambience : Pretty basic.
Food : Homely. Not too spicy or oily.
Price : 160 Rs is way too much for the whole experience.
Mayank Diwakar
Ordered dal fry and jeera rice from swiggy and got cockroach as you can see in the pictures.
When I called ghar ka khana...the representative/owner told me that they have recently done pest control and some cockroachs might be left...are you kidding me?
She was so normal when I told her that I got cockroach in my food. Dude when you are running a restaurant it's your duty to provide provide good quality food. When you are charging 120 rs for dal...how can't you control your food quality?
Really Disappointed
Sameer Purwar
This is decent food outlet which provides an average eating experience i am not talking about the sitting area but the food. If i wana have tummy full and decent billing this is the place to visit.
Hardeep
Ordered dal makhni n paneer combo

Thick red layer of oil on dal makhni. Worst dal makhni ever.
Paneer was also same with layer of oil , spices .

Paratha was good.

Unfortunately had to eat paratha with tea and throw away rest of the sabji.
Ankita Singh
Very bad experience, i ordered chole puri from Gkk and there was cockroach in my curry. They should work on the hygiene. Really disappointed
Amit
Poor service, Ordinary food quality, lady at the counter is arrogant n not customer friendly. Much better options available all over Pimple saudagar than this place.
Mayur DV Panchal
Ghar ka khana is ghar ka khana. Jaisa naam vaisa kaam. I had a good experience though it could have been a bit spiced up sabzi for me to rate full.
Honey Shekhawat
Totally tasteless food

Food quality is not good
Paneer sabji was old & stale.gravy was smelling very badly .it was bad food and very unhealthy

Shweta Mehta
Excellent
Priyanka Katkade
I was sick and ordered food. But got a cockoach served in curry. Immediately started calling restaurant but they did not pick up. This is not at all expected when you are in food industry. Will definitely not order from here again.
Monisha Bhaskar
My favorite place to have home-like food. My favorites are methi paratha and aaloo paneer mix paratha. Budget friendly place. Their diet meals and combo meals are cheap yet filling.
Lochan Babani
Small joint in Vision Galleria in Pimple Saudagar. No timing restrictions. Serves whole menu all day.
Self service, good value for money. Mostly punjabi dishes.
I tried Chhole Poori, which gave me feel of proper Punjabi taste. Properly cooked, right amount of spices and enough quantity.
Sajan Banka
I had genuinely loved Dal Makhni. so last night we decided go in and try there other dishes. We ordered paneer do pyaaza and phulka. The sabzi was old & stale. The gravy was smelling very badly. When I complained they said it is fresh and we're not ready to accept that the food is bad. At last they told that they will make another gravy. But seriously it was bad food and very unhealthy
Piyush Malviya
raita is missing from the thali
RAJKUMAR SINGH
Just like home food only. Very Good food and service. 5 🌟. Price are little bit on higher side for few items. Best for North Indians in Pimple SAUDAGAR.
Rishav Das
Food was good. Quantity was less
Preeti Rathod Khatri

Ashish Negi
.Food was good, but not that much Waao...
Pranjal Dutta
What i order is different from what i get
Deepanjan Roy
Should be less spicy
Akansha Jain
I personally opt for this place whenever I am not in the mood to cook and still want to eat that "Ghar ka Khana". The food quality and quantity are really good. I have always struggled to find the pulkas in Pune as here you will get different sort of chapatees(usually with oil or machine made). But this is one place where you get the homemade phulkas. They have a huge menu which includes thalis , chinese, North Indian, desserts. The thali menu changes daily so you get to try different veggies every time.
Seating area is smaller though.
Shreekant Singh
In mushroom lababdaar no mushroom can be found.
Shobhit Mathur
I order food from Ghar ka Kahana regularly online. Generally the food is good but today stale Cauliflower sabji was delivered with thali. Management should be more careful on the quality of food served. Stale food is unacceptable and can cause serious health problems for the customers.
Kartikey Sharma
Food was very tasty.
Radhika Daxini
1 sabzi was pathetic and roti quality should be improved
Ankita Shah
Yes, this is the restaurant for you if you want to order a regular meal. Food is good. Quantity is also above average. Packing is decent. A bit expensive when compared to other competitors. I love their Kheer. Moderately sweet and a few pieces of dry fruits too. I wonder how they goofup with panner subji that's the only thing I don't like about their food.
Divyesh Chauhan
It took too much time to deliver the food. Still didn't get the food even after specified time.
Varsha Kaniche
bad Food🤐 very disgusting food..wish to through away this type of food. uncooked food.bad behaviour of lady owner.very bad services.salt was more than enough.really really bad
Avinash Gopal
Not good
Aryan
The place is full of cockroaches . Very unhygenic place. Even after mentioning to owner there is no action taken . It's name should be - Cockroaches Ka Khana
Ankit Agrawal
Quite an unpleasant experience. Unfriendly behaviour by the staff/management. Casual approach in packing the food (parcel order) so much so, that 2 of the snap fit plastic cups popped open. Food is definitely not there USP which would make me visit it again. Just a reminder to management it's not by compulsion that guests visit the restaurant, it is by the choice.
Aditya Vighne
Good food - feels like home made food
Price - really good affordable
Food - good
Try non veg best options available at least price
Packaging - average

If you want spice plz tell when u order
Anupam Anand
Food taste was good, untill I asked for butter milk. In the plastic glass I could see a leg of an insect. We returned the butter milk. But the so called person didn't give a refund instead he said.. the boss won't listen to such excuses.
Er Randhir
This is bullshit
Delivered food with cockroach
Tomato is fraud
They wants to kill people's
Don't see my rating
It's just to see on top

Don't order from tomato
Don't
Don't
Don't
Ellora Bhattacharya
DO NOT be attracted to the name as it is nothing like Ghar Ka Khana. The first time I went here was actually pretty decent as I chose a very safe dish. An aloo paratha. I recently ordered again - Chole Bhature, Dal Khichdi & a combo - 2 parathas, Paneer Makhanwala and Dal Makhni. It was the most horrifying experience is ever had! The khichdi had no salt! I am very conservative when it comes to salt and when I say no salt trust me. The Dal Makhani, Paneer Makhanwala and Chole were all made in the same masala and tasted almost stale. The paratha & bhature were OK. I would rather pay this much and get a decent burger rather than wasting my money on some pretentious home made food.
Mohit Gupta
The food you get justifies the name itself as it actually is the authentic ghar ka khana undoubtly. The lassi, fandu thali, tomato soup all are delicious and value for money .
Chetana
Visited this play so many times..
Fodd quality is very good.. but there menu is quite short and constant.. also if you ll eat here on regular basis you'll not find it that delicious..Fulka you can have it if you're really craving for ghar ka khana.
Surbhi Kumari
This is place where you get food like home in pimple saudagar! There was many such competitors but all them has shut down. And it seems Ghar ka khana is the winner of the area for homemade food.
Easy of pocket. Some dishes are really tasty. Some go so so.
Overall you can't ignore this place if count your option when living in pimple saudagar.
Abhijit Phadnaik
Well this is place is not worth reviewing in restaurant category as its a kind of small mess but I had such a bad experience that's why putting my view, I went there one afternoon as I was in in surrounding and was hungry thinking I will get home like food , but it was way far from home made food or any eatable food ,there was no one in restaurant, you need to go on counter to place order, lady on counter was in no mood to serve me,I had to ask for menu card then placed order of thali with paneer and dal makhani,it was worst dal makhani I have ever had in my life. Both items were very very spicy and it was not like spicy with too much masala but spicy due to too much chilly powder in eat,I some how finished one paratha with just touching it with Dal makhani and paneer and left the place.
सुमित कुमावत
Ordered combo meal through online app.I received the parcel on time but I found it was a wrong parcel ,but delivery boy was gone till then.I checked other boxes under parcel assuming other box may have expected order and another surprise.. a tiny creature underneath was trying to get some fresh air. Thank god!Insects breathe.I gave a call to restaurant mentioning the details but they said it was a mistake of delivery boy.
Then I followed up with online app customer care and as usual they have long queue to serve customers(common guyz, you even do such things when there is no demonetization). After three- four follow up,they replied and created reorder. After waiting for another 40 minutes, customer care person called and said restaurant is closed now,so they cannot complete the order.
Don't expect 'GHAR KA KHANA' from this restaurant.
I don't write such big essays and that too in English but such incidents should be highlighted so such restaurants take better care next time.
Sunny Shandilya
Ordered the super meal recently which was okay in taste but pricey. The vegetables were spicy and the kheer they sent was dripping all over the packet.
The only good thing was that they pack phulkas which is a rare thing from restaurants. The meal is more than enough for 1 person.
In case you want to try, you can give other meals a try here.
Vijay Moyalan
I have been to their chain service across Pune but this place service and management is not upto the mark. If I compare with other place its totally different. The food is not upto the mark.
Chetan Lakhani
Really like the food here, they serve no-nonsense chapati-sabji-daal-rice food here. Always a go-to option during weekday dinner. Try their Sweets too, you wont be disappointed!!
Saurav Tripathi
It's actually gattar Ka khana.. wahiyaat..ghar k Khan ek nam pe loot
I had ordered dal makhni and paneer it was so horrible and some bad smell is coming from both the item
After paying 350 I got gattar ka khana
And ambience was so rude jase ki wo Ehsaan kar Rae hai khana deke..
Totally bakwaaaaaas
Umang Agrawal
This restaurant stands by his name in terms of quality. It's really like ghar ka khana, not very spicy and taste wise delicious. Suggest to have maa ki daal here.
Shradha Agarwal
Average sitting.
Good food
Harsh lady sitting at the counter. The way she talks is like she is giving you food for free.
This spoils a person's mind to have food there.
Coming to food, it was good. We liked all the items we ordered.
Shubham Gupta
It justifies its name as per the taste perspective. Sitting is average.
Various combos and dishes with fine taste makes it good enough to be counted as a decent place.
Go and have your lunch or dinner you will find it satisfactory.
Ravi Kavrani
This is just an average restaurant nothing special.
Taste 3.5/5
Service 3/5
Rates are high as compared to the service.
May visit this place just for a change.
Amar Gutta
On recommendation of a friend had been to this place. The place is small with seating space of about 20 people. There is no AC as this is normal thali restaurant types.

They have others items on menu too but their thali is the most famous one. The basic thali has one curry, one dal and 4 chapati and some rice; onion and pickle served on side. One has to choose one of the curry options from 3 available ones and same for dal as well. One can upgrade the normal thali to ultimate thali that has papad and raita extra.

Taste wise I didn't find it any great, normal taste like a thali restaurant and nothing like ghar ka khana. I got to taste all the curries from friends plate so I am talking of overall taste. Same was for the dal collection. Roti or phulka was freshly made so was good. Papad was roasted one but that too was underdone. Raita was passable and one won't miss much if they didn't have it.
I took chaas (butter milk) and it was nice, creamy and fresh.
Food was hygienic and wasn't oily.

Price for normal thali is ₹80 and it is good. Ultimate thali was ₹90. Felt chaas was expensive at ₹30 compared to other stuff.
Pavan
The best thing about this place is the simple homely for they serve. They do justice to the name. If you are someone who does not like to cook food at home and want Home like food then this is the place.
Varun Sharma
We all have that friend who's mother is a bad cook, but your friend doesn't realize it because he/she is used to the taste? Yes. so, ghar ka khaana is really 'uss dost ke ghar ka khaana'. It's one of those places which used to be good long back, but now, not so much . I guess their USP before was okk food at a reasonable rate now it's just expensive *bad* food. All the gravies are the same. The only thing I like about this place is the mission statement and stuff written on their banner. Look out for it.
Recommended - free pyaz. Expensive buttermilk.
Swati Singh
We order dal makhni, mushroom & Matar paneer....Matar paneer is tasteless ....paneer is too hard.
Dal makhni 2/5
Matar paneer 1/5
Mushroom 2/5
Shreya Hegde
Tiny place, but as the name suggests reminds you of home food. Simple home style meals at affordable prices. If you feel bored of cooking food at home, this is the best place to have a healthy meal.
Sachin Sahoo
Perfect place when you want to have some thing which satisfies you taste buds and health too. The thali served is sufficient for one to calm his hunger. They have a punjabi touch to their gravies such as chole and kadi pakode which are my favorite too.👍🏼👍🏼
Tarun Saxena
Ghar ka Khana is a restaurant located in Pimple Saudagar, on the kunal icon road.

The menu is quite basic and comprises of Indian food.

There are various thali combos which are quite lucrative.

On my visit, I opted for the fundoo combo.

It had rotis, rice, daal and aloo sabzi.

The taste of the food had asli ghar ke khaane ka taste.

I would likely be going t this place whenever I am in a mood for having a thali.

Taste 3.5
Ambiance 3
VFM 4
Service 3.5

Quality
3.5
Rahul Shrivastav
It's a great place for normal good regular food when your cook has a day off and you don't want to spend much.
@Not to be confused with a hangout place with friends.
Come eat tasty home food and go.
Ambience is as per the purpose, use as much place as possible to accommodate more.
Recommend for home delivery.
Arpit Airan
"Ghar ka Khana", the name says it all. The place as I heard is famous for the Homelike food that they serve. I visited this place for the same reason.

On a late Sunday evening, this place was all booked. You would surely need to wait for a table or you would actually prefer a parcel. Even when we were serving ourselves, It took them more than 30 minutes to just cook the order and ring the Token number.

Food was Homelike in looks, quality and Taste. Though I am not too sure whether they forgot to put salt in our order or they cook it like that only.

Overall a modest experience for me.
Ishan Bali
A very modest restaurant. Their food is as close to home cooked food as anyone can get in a restaurant. Their thali's are limited in options but adequate.
Recommended if yr looking for simple home cooked food.
Edit1: Deducting another point for poor customer interaction. One of the owner/collector is very rude at times. A complete spoiler.
Edit2: their kheer is awsome.
Chinmay Thombre
Worst experience of my life!! Food gets delivered after an hour.! Incomplete order delivered! Then the owner says check before you order! Classic example of how not to serve a customer!
Anant Gupta
hopeless, we placed ordered and they did not bother to inform us that order has been cancelled.

Worst experience. we starved today.
Disha Kataria
Super Delicious Food. Meethi lassi and paranthas are not to be missed. Very well served food and it does complete justice to the name. Good Luck Ghar Ka Khana!
Balaji
My friends referred this place , they said its gives home feel. It's true to some extent, the regular dining option like thali, combo tastes good . Tried Mushroom Fried rice once it was horrible also the quantity was also way too small. Located in prime location 7 mins walk from shivar chowk, the place is bit untidy
Surbhi
It is a very humble place. While eating here you might get the feeling of eating at college canteen just the food is little better. If you just want to have a regular no fuss meal this is the place. They should try keeping the place and serve wares more hygienic.
Garima Chopra
Stands true to its name.. i just love the home made lemon pickle served by them.. it reminds me of my grandmother.
Food quality-4/5
Value for money-5/5
Must try for those who live far away frm their family.
Saurabh Khandelwal
When wifey is away , this is the place I go to ! Nice homely food with options to chose from . The place is always full of people staying away from home or are bachelors . interestingly I see a lot of couples as well paying a visit on weekends . When you look for decent homely north Indian food in pimple Saudagar ,this is the ONLY place . Thanks !
Abhishek Agrawal
The combo meals are good.. Sufficient quantity and taste is also good.. Meal was delivered much before the promise time.. It would be helpful if you could enhance the quality and quantity of rayta. Otherwise rest everything was fine.
Avinash Mauje
You do get "ghar ka khana" at this cozy outlet. I am a frequent visitor to the Hinjewadi branch of the same. They serve delicious food from variety of paratha's to thali's at very pocket friendly prices. Service is quick as well. Try their daily specials.
The hinjewadi branch recently started serving non vegetarian dishes cooked in a separate kitchen. I hope that this branch starts the same as soon as possible, though space wise i think it's difficult !

Ghar ka Khana – Very Old time Customer of this place when they Opened the Start up in Vishal Nagar + Home Delivery Options ..Now 3 Branches  ..One of the most Preferred place for Regular Simple Homely Food + Chapati Like Ghar North Indian Homely Touch .. USP – Chapati – Simple Taste – North Indian Home mad Taste – Low Cost -Daily can be taken and One can manage daily meal Nimbu Pani /Soda – Recommended 20-30 INR .So Single Per son can enjoy in Between 100 to 200 Max ..

Now Comes to Drawback – Owners are very Rigid to a regular customer as well – Like me , No Special friendly customization on Request . No Ring/Sliced onion Request entertained easily – Politeness should be added to Food Taste ;) Chapati Quality was an issue few years back but now they are on Right Track ..
Summary – Very Recommended place for Regular outside eaters and Taking care for your Health and Stomach as well
-----------
Not Sure if Next review of same place - to be added separately or edit in older one ..so did edit..

Recent Visit Added
Makki ke Roti at Its Best - Soft and Butter Laga ker ..Garma Garam Tave se ...WOW .. ..Gud was Missing.. so i managed with Sugar ..it
Raita Simple is All time Hit for Simple Tasty Foodies
Chapati - Butter Good Quality - ( Out of 4 , 1or 2 were little old ..Already Prepared ..rest were Fresh)
Palak Paneer - Ok Rating as some different Masala has Inside.. I have ordered a couple of times from this place. Decent hygienic food. You may not out on weight if you eat everyday at this place. However for everyday meals its a little expensive but then for people who prefer home style cooked food there aren't too many options.
Harsh Thacker
I like this outlet of Ghar ka Khana over the others. I had a feeling all the outlets would be same but it is not so. Ordered several times from this outlet and I love their mix veg, lachcha paratha, rajama masala and also not to forget dal makhani. Great value for money and something which you can always rely on when planning to invite guests at home or want to order something for self. Seating there is something not great but that can be done if it is in your locality.
Kushagra Srivastava
rubbish food .i didnt like it at all i found the food stale
Harsha Patil
Just a decent place for those who crave for some homemade-like food.

Ambiance is a bit clumsy and seems to get crowded and hot. They accept only cash!
Service is good enough as they prepare your order right in front of you (they have an open kitchen!)

Talking about the quality, it is just decent. Nothing great or bad about it. We had ordered Dal Makhani, which was not little over cooked but tasted good. Paneer paratha was too oily and the quantity of chutney was less. Overall, just a decent experience.
Smita Sinha
Justifies its name. Taste like ghar ka khana.. phulke is awesome.. nice small decent place.. keep it up and keep delivering! !! 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Anand M
The food tastes the same as before. Ordered diet meal and jeera chaas. The food tastes normal just as home food. It is medium spiced, which is good. I would have preferred food which is a little hot (it could be left in the pan for a bit more time). The jeera chaas tasted good but the curd was thick.
PRATHAM NIGAM
I was so mesmeriesed seeing the dishes served on few peoples table, but it was completely opposite of my belief. The place in saudagar is located at prime location, the sabji's are over priced when compared to taste and quantity. The phulka and other meals are good cheaper options tho.The chola bhatura had wierd taste, the bhatura was very thick and cholas were tasteless
Parimal Paraswar
Ordered Dal Makhani, Lacha Paratha & Peas Pulav, Dal makhani tasted like sabji. The gravy was exactly similar to the one used for paneer gravy, and was pretty much oily, similar was the peas pulav, very much oily. Lacha Paratha was good.

"Ghar Ka Khana,Ghar ka Khana hota hai" This Place Lives upto its name.

Small Kitchen head by "LADY CHEF" and Counter is run by "Punjabi Uncle".It is located in Shubhashree Woods shopping complex;opposite G Mart.GKK has counter system, whereby pay first and wait for your token number

Ghar Ka Khana's serves "NorthIndian" Fare, starting from Parathas to Paneer Sabjees and Dal. They have amazing Combo meals and diet meals-- Yes you are reading right DIET MEAL.

We have been to GKK number of times when tired of eating oily and fast food; FEELING LAZY TO COOK AT HOME!!! North Indian food served here is free from spicy and masala food!! Pocket Frindly !!

My Must Trys over here are : Chole Puri(Health Concious people can opt for Wheat Phulka), Rajma Chawal,Combo meals with Dal Makhni and diet thali(Dal+Veg Sabji+Phulka=Protien+Veg+Fibers)

Gkk maintains basic hygiene standards, seating arrangement is cramped but they have few setup tables outside as well. Do not look for any frills or ambiance its pretty basic, simple and home cooked style food serving outlet.

So Bachelors,Diet conscious and couples who are in a mood to have home cooked food, know where to head in Pimple Saudagar ???
Bibek
Tried couple of times here. Taste wise its just ok. Never found something amazing. But yes if looking for less spice n oil food, especially those who frequently eat out as need, can this as one option. Always go with their thaali curries. They r well prepared in advance.
Barun Bikash Sahoo
As the name suggests, food really tasted well almost like ghar. Ordered for a thali, quantity was good. Pricing nice.. Small on size in place.
Sumit Marwal
The name says it all. The fulka they serve with main dish are really like home made and I ate about six-seven because they werw thin and whole wheat just like at home. We ordered paneer tikka and surprisingly my kid also ate propperly which he does not at typical restaurant. Alu paratha was also nice with some real home madd butter. Good place to go.
Anurag Bhattacharya
Nothing much to brag about this place. A small self service place, good enough to be visited if your cook suddenly decides to take a CEL :P.
The place is pretty neat & looks hygienic , menu items are limited, though whatever they serve is good enough.
Service is pretty good too, on a normal day, it takes 15-20 mins for the food to be served out.
So, the next time you are in no mood to cook & eat-out decent but cheap, head towards this place.
Vibhu
Good place to have home like food nearby. For those who are away from home and don't want to cook, it is a good place to have meal. The place offer you nice combos at reasonable price. The ambiance is okay. They also provide you home delivery so if you are feeling lazy to get up, u can just order on phone ;). The taste of the food is average. Though they can improve on their service as it often slow. Overall have average experience here.
RKJ
This is a small place with good quality food and taste similar to HOME MADE FOOD. I am regular customer since few years and must say, quality is still same!!

Generally, I try meals over here and usually it is tasty and filling along with being economical.

Moreover, last time i gave negative feedback as chole batura was not good and tasted stale, which they took it positively and agreed to improve upon.

Also, they have token system which well managed unlike other similar places where you need to keep reminding your order!!!!
Shreya Heliwal
Yes it is actually ghar ka khaana.
Yumm yumm super yumm.
When you are super hungry, this is the place. I have been to their restaurant at Hinjewadi and had liked the food and the ambience. That experience made me try this outlet at Pimple Saudagar. This outlet is a smaller one with cramped seating and an open kitchen (found the owner cooking on the day we went). They have a menu with listing of meals and other orders. We chose the Royal Meal where they give option of choosing one of the dals, one of the sides and the drink. I chose the choley, toor dal and the sweet Lemon Soda. The meal was served super quick. It has papad, phulkas, rice, raita, choley, a subzi, rice and dal and is a hearty meal. Their meals do have a homely touch without excess oil and being not too spicy. Their ambience could do with some improvement. Prices are reasonable though higher than what one would expect at such a small restaurant. They seem to be popular with out of towners missing home food.

Decent outlet. You will find hungry bachelors at this place. Food is good but except thali I find it little expensive given the quantity, quality and the self service.

Mar 1: Was not much hungry but instead of skipping lunch decided to have something lite and so took a halt here on our way back. Just ordered two parathas n a lassi and were so disappointed that I don't think I want to try any of their other recipes. It is certainly pocket friendly and an option to skip on oily restaurant food but the experience we had was truly upsetting. The kitchen had 6 people scrambling in and also another lady helping they serve on plates but yet they were so sluggish in processing orders that although there were just 2 orders before ours with mostly fixed menu orders it took them over 40 mins to serve two parathas. The parathas were absolutely tasteless and was not even well cooked. I ordered a alu-pyaj and wife called in for a gobi-pyaj yet what they served us was nothing less than disaster. If parathas can be such a mayhem I wonder how they serve these other dishes. The only thing good about them were the spoonful of butter that came along. Even the curd that was served with it was sour. Lassi was just about ok but didn't had the feeling that a Punjabi lassi should have.

It's a good option for those who want to eat out yet avoid heavy and oily food. Paneer dishes are comparatively more oily so try n get the mix veg or dry Sabji. For lighter food, prefer the chapatis over the paratha as they are rich and heavy. A good pocket friendly option.

This place is undoubtedly the best for people looking for economic veg food. Very competitive pricing and delicious food. In simple words, a self service veg combo thali restaurant. Have been there more than 5 times and will certainly continue, and will refer this place to my friends too. Please keep up the good work.
