This is one of the hidden gems in Pune wrt to good non-veg food. They serve lip-smacking Bengali-style dishes. The taste has been the same since years and you will definitely visit more than once. The ambience is not great. Average seating arrangement and surrounding environment. But, Delicious food. Good service. Polite staff. I would recommend you try the Gippi Kebabs and Chicken Supreme Gravy/Butter Chicken with Lacchha Paratha. They have the softest and most tastiest Gippi Kebabs. They quality of chicken used is tender and fresh. Their bestseller is the Chicken Supreme and Butter Chicken. The quantity for half a plate is more that enough for 2 people. It is tender, juicy and adequate spicy. The Lacchha Paratha is so delicious, crispy and soft, that they can be eaten alone as well. Other items on the menu are equally good. Must visit. Just that they put colour in the food, so when you eat by hand, your fingers turn orange. Two wheeler parking is mostly available, but I would suggest not to go by a car. Exact location: First immediate left after you cross Garware Bridge. Near FC road Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale.

Food is great here both in terms of quality and quantity..Bengalli Kolkata style but price is bit high which is understandable given the cost of procuring raw materials to make the items in Pune City which is expensive..But experience worth given the taste and quality and service is good..

Loved this place - very basic ambience but the food is really awesome. Calls it’s a Bengali specialty restaurant but also has great North Indian food as well We had order paneer supreme, based on owners suggestion - and all of us loved the taste and cooking style. Try their special paratha (probably made of rice) it’s really good Overall would definitely recommend this while in Deccan, Pune

They serve good non veg options, my friends had it and they went crazy about taste. Always mouthing about this restaurant. Chicken supreme, lacha Partha they tried, also heard that mutton dish was featured at number 1 in times of India. Ambience is okay. Price is a bit high

I recommend this place to hangout with friends. I ordered Chicken Tandoori as starter. Dish was superb. Then for main course I ordered Chicken Supreme as well as Lachha Paratha. Chicken Supreme was tasty and Lachha Paratha was also good. The prices are also reasonable. Good Place to hangout. Overall good experience.

Nice hotel and food experience. We specially visited for Nagpur / Vidarbha special spicy taste. We found somehow it spicy and tasty no doubt. But I personally don't like that Parattha , they can have alternative option as like Bhakari , Roti with Non-Veg. Ambiance was not that much good. Owner of hotel is also polite. Whatever customize food you need you can tell. Btw you can have visit to taste hotel once. Rates are also normal as compare to area FC road.

It is a small restaurant with limited seating but the taste of the food here is exceptional. Chicken Supreme with Laccha Paratha & Chicken Chilli was our go to dish here. Parking space is also limited so that's somewhat an issue.

The only bengali joint where I can try out some authentic bengali dishes. Everything I have tasted was delicious. Rolls, biryanis, and Fish Kalia with rice. It's the only place in around Deccan where you can find a bengali joint. <br/><br/>Ambiance is not so much but location is totally perfect. My recommendation goes for Fish Kalia with rice. And chicken roll. <br/><br/>The only downside I see, is the cost for a few item. Fish Kalia although superb will cost you around 400 Rs which is definitely out of line with Kolkata prices. That turns off the urge to order it every time I am here. <br/><br/>Some Suggestions to the team:<br/><br/>Keep up the taste. That's the first thing that matter. <br/>Next comes service. It's good to. Keep your staff happy. They do a good job.<br/>May be start a bengali thali. I have been craving for a simple Rice, Daal and Fish Curry Thali. Never found one in Pune.<br/>And lastly, some attractive ambiance. Do think on this area.

I ordered chicken tandoori and experienced the worst tandoori ever. It was full of red colour. Taste was also pathetic. Wrong decision to try new place when good joints are around.

I have been to this place for almost 4 times. If you are going on a Sunday make sure to try the Biryani (Chicken and Mutton both are amazing). I loved the fish preparations, be it fry or with tomato gravy, it is just amazing.

I have ordered paneer muglai paratha and aloo paneer paratha. The aloo paneer paratha was about ok in taste but paneer paratha was not good at all. Both the paratha's were too much oily and poor in taste . Poor quality paratha's and i would never go for paratha's at this restaurant.

Decided to visit the place after reading the reviews. I was looking for good Bengali food. To be honest, I'm not impressed.<br/>I had ordered Bhetki Gravy, Mutton Kosha, Lachha Paratha and Rice.<br/><br/>What went good:<br/>Lachha Paratha was nice! Crispy, big and tasty.<br/>Fish and Mutton quantity was nice. 2 persons can have dinner with just 1 plate/order.<br/>Bhetki fish was fresh.<br/><br/>What went bad:<br/>The Bhetki Gravy was disappointing. It was made so heavy with spices that the flavour of fish got lost into it. And there was some heavy overdose of Jeera into that.<br/><br/>Same with Mutton Kosha. Kosha is supposed to be dry and heavy with spices. It was rightfully so, but guess a bit more than required. The mutton was overcooked. And again, the taste of mutton was lost. You can't tell it was mutton or chicken or pork (a hypothesis, it was mutton for sure).<br/><br/>Rice was of poor quality.

Good Bengali food in low price. Though the ambiance may not impress but the taste of the food makes up for it. We had been here on more than one occasion. Some of our favorite dishes are Mutton Kasha, Chicken Biriyani and Bengali style fish (Rohu or Katla) with steam rice.

Located near Deccan Gymkhana. It's difficult to find the exact location but if you have any friend with you who is familiar with this restaurant then well and good. One of the best and affordable place near Deccan to have non-veg food. I went their with my friend. We have ordered 1 chicken tikka masala and laccha parathas. It was enough for 2 persons. A tiny little place situated right behind Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale (though you can also say in the back alleys of Deccan Gymkhana). Both were complementing each other like a "perfect couple" (Though I doubt that the later one really exists or not). And my goodness! The Lacchha Parantha. It could easily be one of the best lacchha parantha in entire Pune. I never had this kind of lacchha paranthas in Pune. Crispy, flaky and fresh. One full chicken supreme is enough for 3-4 people. You only need to order more lacchha paranthas if you order one full chicken supreme. The good and prompt service made our dinner experience even more great. Prices are pretty reasonable. You can easily afford it. So if you are around Garware Bridge and are in search of amazing yet cost efficient non-vegetarian food, you should definitely visit this place. Worth recommending.

This was my first visit in this restaurant as my friend suggested this place . Tried supreme Masala , out of the box taste . The best chicken I have ever tasted , chicken was so tender and fresh . Next I tried bhetki fish again that was too good and has the fish taste intact in that recipe. Overall good taste .

As suggested in name no crispy thing was found in the dish. A oniony dish with no sense of taste.<br/>Gippi Kabab- Quite good of all dishes served here. Chicken flavored good and fresh.<br/>Tandoor Supreme Masala- Lacked a flavor has only red color gravy to make you feel spicy. Not a dish to try here even if they recommend the one.<br/>Lachcha Paratha- The other thing that was good here.<br/>Service, i think they are probably unaware about this thing. You need to wait for half an hour even to order the food and serving later takes the same time ahead.<br/>Too compact space for dining.<br/>Overall a place a foodie must avoid.

Top in Town has been one my favourite eating joints since a long time. Their rolls, bengali style biryani made in ghee, Chicken tandoor supreme, lachha paratha and everything else is very very well cooked and tasty. I haven't seen Chicken tandoor supreme on the menu of any other restaurants and I really find it to be a very innovative dish in which Tandoori chicken is later cooked in gravy. The taste too has remained quite the same over the years. The only issue is the seating area which is not comfortable, but you can always order a to go meal. If you wish to dine in, then you need to compromise on the ambience, yet I would say that the ambience does not bother much especially when after you start digging into the awesome food. The owner is a very polite guy, however at times some of his staff is not very attentive to the customers needs and need repeated reminders. The joint is very economical in terms of the pricing and I definitely love ordering from them.

This should have come from me much earlier, but better late then never. What do I say about this place, have been visiting this place for almost 10 years more or less every item is near perfect. And best part being in last 10 years the taste has been consistent which I believe most of the restaurants would lack over the period. The few must try would be the sunday special biryani a lip smacking item, chicken/ mutton korma. The only place where I would cut their points is the decor. But their value for money and tasteful dishes. Makes up....

It's a really small place, located in one of the back alleys of Deccan, right in the R Deccan Mall, on the ground floor.<br/>It has outside as well and inside sitting, nothing fancy just a simple place, but quite possibly the best place for having non-vegetarian food.<br/>Our usual is Laccha Paratha with the Tandoor Supreme, which is their speciality. It's a little oily to be frank but full of flavour and made to perfection.<br/>And it's a great meal to have on a busy weekday, after a long day of work, it's the perfect comfort food.

One of my favourite places. I never had tired such soft n succulent chicken before. We tried Red Chicken, Crispy Chicken and Paneer Chilly as starter. Crispy chicken was really crispy.<br/>In the main course we tried Chicken Tikka Masala and Laccha Paratha. Gravy of Chicken Tikka was thick and rich in flaour. It came with 5 to 6 large Size pieces. Chicken was soft, moist and tender. Laccha paratha was also great in taste.<br/>For rice we tried Lemon Chicken Fried Rice. But this was a disappointment. It tasted like normal Schezwan Rice. No test of Lemon. The taste was nice. It contained Chunks of Chicken and Pieces of Omlette also.<br/>So overall this place is good. Food is great in quality and quantity as well. All delicacies are mouth watering. Their Kitchen is also surprisingly clean compared to other same kind of restaurants. Plus this is the Pocket Friendly Restaurant. So, a must visit place in the city.<br/><br/>ONLY THING IS THEIR ADDRESS IS DECCAN CORNER BEHIND CHITALE BANDHU AND NOT IN THE 'R DECCAN MALL.'
