Review Real Aroma Pot Biryani - Pune

If you're a biryani lover then I must say that you should try Pot Biryani. Long basmati rice with proper amount of spice. More than enough for two people.

One of the best biryani I have ever tasted. All the spices chicken and the Basmati rice come together just perfectly. The service and ambiance is very good. And it is served beautifully in an earthen pot which really improves the flavors Must try if you want to taste a real biryani.

For awadhi taste n frangnace and freshly made Biryani...You should try this small cosy place.... Overall experience was good!!

Have ordered chicken king pot Biryani @ Real Aroma it was amazing also you must try Afghani chicken kebabs! We are now fan of pot biryani

The taste was really different from the other pot Biryani I had. But the quantity is very low and one pot will never quench your hunger. Also the pot scrapping came into the food.

pretty decent in terms of presentation and packaging! however, the mutton pieces in biriyani are quite small and very few in number too! if they can up that, this would be right there as one of the best biriyanis in town! hopefully, they do that!

It’s one of the best Dum style biryanis I have had, the meat is juicy and nicely cooked. I have tried both mutton and chicken dum biryani, and mutton biryani here is my favourite. <br/><br/>I mostly call for home delivery and they deliver the biryani in a traditional earthen pot, sealed nicely to avoid the fragrance from escaping. <br/><br/>The physical restaurant has a very humble setting and not great on ambience but trust me the food is a real delight here. 1/2 star less in my rating for the physical setting of this resturant.

Really really overpriced for the taste and quality of the food. The mutton biryani had these little over cooked little pieces of meat dangling from the bone. The biryani was a bit below average. The quantity was alright. I ordered it for the pot, hoping that even the food might turn out to be good. Sadly all I have now is a pot as a souvenir which is definitely worth paying all that amount of money and waiting for almost two hours for the parcel to reach me.

Delivery is very slow. It took more than 90 minutes to deliver when I was promised delivery in 40 45 mins. I ordered veg dum biryani and was good. Paneer makhani gravy was almost watery than anything. Better biryani served elsewhere.

yesterday ordered 3 KG biryani from this place and I got free small pieces of glass in biryani. Thank god the delivery by was  at my place at the time we found pieces of glass in biryani. Pot biryani is playing with our health. I am not going to recommend this place for food.

Looking at the name an description on their menu I ordered their mutton biryani..it was the worst biryani I tasted... So bland and no mutton...just thin film of mutton over pieces of bones... The order I received was like they served me leftovers from their kitchen.. No point for taste..No quality and the name is pot biryani..I got the biryani in a foil container..Total mood spoiler...

How can a restaurant survive without roti?? Worthless. Hate the food. I ordered mutton sukkha with roti, they delivered some three bones with some oil - worst food ever ordered. BTW, they did not deliver the roti, when I called, they said it was over... they could have agreed to their mistake but they chose to lie. How can a restaurant survive... without roti at 8 Pm. Never gonna order from here.

I visited this place previous week. I would say biryani is ok. Means if you don't like it you will not hate it either. But it is too much over priced. It coat you 410 for full biryani which is not even sufficient for two people. This is too much for a road side tapari which doesn't have proper place to eat. You can find better biryani with lesser price at very good restorant. Please don't waste money here they don't deserve this much money for their very average biryani.

Ordered biryani from here on the phone. Asked the owner to keep it ready by the time I reach there. Went there and had to repeat everything again. The owner was out and he didn't even give the order. So again had to wait for 20 mins. The biryani was okayish. Not worth the money at all.

I can understand that it is difficult to prepare an absolutely amazing biryani for vegetarians, but if your eatery name has BIRYANI in it, people ought to expect the best. I ordered one Hydrrabadi Biryani and the order was ready very quickly. It comes with a raita. <br/><br/>Came home and there was no aroma from the package which actually foretold the impending doom. And the taste confirmed it. The rice was very dry, the vegetables that should compliment the rice were bland and had little taste. The raita became a necessity which should not have been. Overall it was not at all worth my money. <br/><br/>When you promise biryani and fail in dishing a decent one, getting repeat customers can become a problem. They need to work on the recipie.

Went by some good reviews on this site and ordered 7 plates of chicken mughlai biryani as was expecting some guests suddenly on a Sunday. The biryani was ready in 30 min time. When I picked up did not see the quantity. The quantity was so less it was shocking for the amount they charge per plate. The taste of the biryani was neither here nor there type. Not Hyderabad style At All. Even sub standard to the ones available in local maharashtra style. Shocking to see that the biryani left gave a spoilt smell just after guest finished and left. Thankfully i had ordered some roti and butter chicken from another restaurant. Major embarrassment for me. Not recommended to anyone

Worst biryani I ever had. I got small pot chicken biryani parcel for myself. The biryani had one small chicken piece which was only a bone. Biryani tasted like fried rice and lacked the "Real Aroma".

I ordered online. The chicken dum biryani was undercooked. Both the rice and chicken were way undercooked. Not worth it. The only plus point was that the delivery was fast. But I'd rather wait longer for a well cooked biryani.

I ordered the Chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani from Real Aroma Pot Biryani after reading some really good reviews.<br/><br/>Biryani arrived in quick time. The quantity was a little bit of a let down. I think they can increase the price a bit if they want and probably give away a little more of the Biryani. Taste wise, the biryani was delicious! It had nice aroma, nice masalas and whole spices. Some really juicy pieces of chicken as well. The Raita was extremely sour and I didn't have it.<br/><br/>So the only complain is quantity. The prices are OK.

I liked the concept of pot biryani they serve. I went wid some friends and we ordered veg dum biryani. The biryani was really tasty and delicious and the quantity was good . The only problem we had was the service was really slow it took some time but the wait was not in vain as the biryani was too good. Ambience is ok, not so good not so bad. Overall It is very good. I strongly recommend anyone who wants to eat biryani visit this place atleast once.

Best Biriyani in town! Awesome taste and proper proportion of spices in it. pretty amazing, with nice long grains of cooked rice and wonderful tasting spicy masala & 2 nicely cooked Chicken pieces which were very tender and cooked to just about perfection. clay pot making it healthier, moreover that earthy taste and aroma is unmatchable! A terrible experience for home delivery yesterday. The biryani smelled of raw mustard oil served with a tiny plastic bag of raita. I had requested(who does that) for onions and nimbu with the biryani the fellow taking the order said he would send it but on delivery I was too as a policy we don't serve salad???? That's a first. The rice was undercooked sprinkled with a few flakes of fried onion like it was as precious as saffron from Iran. Surely not recommend the place to any one or order again.....

Not worth what they charge...As per my wife insisted got 2 pot biryanis ..One Regular and one small. <br/><br/>As mentioned in one of the reviews this is not worth at all...the quantity is too less...not to mention about the taste...just simple and nothing great ...Did not seem to be like Dum biryani at all...looked like rice and gravy mixed at the bottom with a top layer of white rice...<br/><br/>This place is not worth at all and best to be avoided...Only looks good in a Claypot....inside plain chicken curry Rice<br/>Raita was some curd mixed with some masala and doesnt go good with the Biryani<br/>Maybe they could have added a Salan<br/>and not to mention their Regular pot does not suffice 2 at all...and pay a whooping 409/ for a Regular -....maybe they charge for their claypot also...kiddin

Well they need to learn how to make authentic biryani. I shall share the recipe. The most horrible and pathetic biryani ever tasted. Waste of money. And a total spoiler. Raita was equally a mess. The only contentment was I got some good mud pots!

I am not the one who eat food with eyes .. But some time gets carried away by concept..this place was on my list for some time as they claim that they serve biriyani in clay pot which is given dum separately .. Also they use saffron and ghee .. Thus today I picked I parcel for me .. Which was nicely packed on a box ... I choose to pack my food as they have outside seating and self service ..however the food as pathetic as it could be .. Rice was hard and chicken was sweet .. Seemed half cooked worst biriyani I ever had

Although I love the biryani from this place, I did not like their service for a home delivery. They did not have pots for pot biryani, so they decided that it would be okay to send over a box biryani without informing. I thought okay, let me just enjoy the food. Then I realised that the raita has completely split out of the box! This, after taking 50 bucks as parcel charges. So I called them and told them about the whole situation, I had to call them multiple times before they decided to send another guy to deliver the raita. That took another 20-25 minutes! I just gave up.. Utterly disappointed with the service.

Now a good biryani is really really hard to get. Why? Everyone seems to believe that's is authentic. Well I had heard a lot about this place and finally decided to order from here. I tried this place 1st time ever, based on Zomato review & ratings. Ordered veg biryani pot on call. 1st shock : Delivery is not free ( my place is less than 10 mins (or 3km) from Viman Nagar ) - despite ordering for more than 200/- as mentioned on site. The delivery took 45 minutes. Presentation was very good, in an earthen pot. 2nd Shocker : Plain white rice of medium quality was jampacked for about half the pot depth. 3rd Shocker : Taste was no where near a decent biryani, as the veg preparation was really average. 4th Shocker : The curd/raita served was extremely bad/sour - more on fermented/acidic side. <br/><br/>Not to mention than prices are already on the higher side by about 50% of what it is worth. <br/><br/>I did mention on call that this is my first time and requested to prepare with care. <br/><br/>Would never try this again. <br/><br/>PS : I downloaded Zomato app just to share this bad experience with fellow foodies via this 1st review comment.

I had tried their Veg Biryani about a month ago and that was really awesome... so I decided to order the same again for a friends get-together. But unfortunately this time their Biryani was nowhere near their earlier taste, aroma or standards. It was a very disappointing experience. Will be hesitant to order from them again.

I must say, this is the best actual biryani i had after very long time. It's cooked in clay pot and the aroma is amazing.<br/><br/>Rest all biryani in Pune are mostly fake pan fried... but this is what actual biryani is..! Loved it.

The place has a single minded focus - biryani.. And they seem to be doing a great job at it., the whole place seemed to be geared to push just biryanis..<br/><br/>We ordered (no prizes for guessing) biryani.. The rice tastes fresh.. The spices were nicely balanced.. The chicken was good succulent.. <br/><br/>The ambiance and seating are pretty basic...The prices are very reasonable considering their pot size and quality of biryanis..<br/><br/>All in all a good experience.. Must try if you are a biryani lover.. But that's where it starts and unfortunately ends too..

This is not a Biryani. Chicken cooked separately in onions and mixed with steamed rice. Small pieces mostly bones. Very over priced.... Quality 1/5, Quantity 1/5, presentation 4/5.

Have ordered a couple of pots in my Office and really relished them good amount of spices and good cooked chicken quantity is also good enough. Price is a bit high, but the if its tat much u can put some more pieces of chicken ;-) <br/><br/>Over all gud :)

Real Aroma Pot Biryani gave me the best experience of home delivery. I placed my order through there website and got my food delivered within an hour. The packaging is very solid and attractive. Now about the food. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani and Gulab Jamun. All of them were fabulous. Biryanis had the authentic taste and the chicken and mutton piece were very fresh and juicy. . Very differently cooked. Never had anything like that before. Today's lunch made my day. Most Pathetic, Filthy and Disgusting place to eat!!! Made a mistake by coming here. . . The place is run by a bunch of cheats who overprice the menu and deliver sub standard stuff. And when questioned on the small portion size, they just say- we are sorry, we served you the small portion by mistake but we cannot do anything now as the bill was already done.<br/><br/>If you want to have a nice meal, this certainly is the place that you should AVOID !! I must say I was tempted by the presentation of this biryani place which prompted me to order on the very first day of the year. Had a glance of this small place while walking past the streets one day and collected their home delivery pamphlet. The prices were a little high so I did not opt for this place and usually went for my regular pocket friendly places for the usual rice craving. Finally one day I decided to shell out some extra money from my pocket and ended up ordering from here, and trust me guys it was the best biryani I've ever had!!! It was delivered to my place pretty quickly in a pot decorated with lace. I took off the lid and the room was filled with aroma of the biryani. I am drooling as I write the review :D, the biryani was that good! Perfectly cooked and perfect blend of spices. I was content after eating this biryani. A must try for all the biryani lovers. I am sure you will not be disappointed :)

The concept of Pot Biryani is nice and unique compare to other restaurants. All restaurant sell biryanis but what brings u back is that it shld touch the soul rather then fill the stomach at that moment. The rice was very nice, long grains of basmati rice detached from each other. The chicken was very soft and u can taste & smell the dum aroma in it.<br/>I shld have rated more but I felt only 2 pcs of small chicken is toooo less for biryani lovers and there shld be more of sauce the wetness of gravy in it.

Took chicken biryani regular pot. No aroma to rice. Masala was salty. Only leg piece was eatable. 350 for such tasteless pot of rice. Never gonna buy from here again. It isn't a biryani.

Scrumptious biryani, like finger licking good. Not authentic really but gives you a mughlai feel. The pot serving is amazing.. Loved the concept and the saffron garnish is amazing...

This one right near my place so tried it. Biryani was good. Masala is at bottom we need to mix and eat. taste was fine but pieces and quantity is low for price. Pot is given which is good. It says serves one but actually it doesn't. Only 2 chicken pieces but taste was good. Overall it's OK.

Ordered Chicken Dum Biryani first time, Heard lot about this place in office, It was ,no doubt, the best Biryani ever also i would like to mention the Raita was just aswesome good creation parsley mint n creamy yogurt that was juyst yummy..., The meat was completely tender and I disagree with everyone who thinks the rice quantity was more, because it turned out to be perfect for me, good luck guys

Now this is a place that was getting a lot talked about in our group.<br/>Had ordered for Chicken Dum biryani and Veg biryani.<br/><br/>My friend who tried the Veg biryani was impressed with the Veg Biryani.<br/>As for Chicken biryani. The taste was good. However the pieces of Chicken can be increased. The best part is they have multiple options based on number of people. So if you are alone you can definitely give this a shot as it won't cost you much.<br/><br/>I will definitely like to mention about the Clay Pot packing. That is a very nice and innovative thing to see.

Just finished having a delicious pot of Chicken Briyani. First and foremost the home delivery was on time The packaging was simple and neat. Another bonus point as they didn't use a plastic bag. The aroma once i opened the pot was simply irresistible, still managed to get a couple of clicks. The rice grain was cooked to perfection, the chicken was tender and rightly spiced. Ordered this super pots of biryani for delivery and must say was impressed. Aromatic rice with chicken cooked to perfection. Thank God not full to of spices to mask the flavours. Very good experiance. Quantity needs to be improved. The "for 2" is a little less for 2. Cost on pots can be reduced to increase portion size.

Biryani was light. Not spicy. But the spices used were good and the rice and chicken cooked to perfection. There is a scope for improvement on the biryani. You also get clay pots to take away with the parcel! That's something new!

As soon as the cover was removed the smell of saffron filled the room. Pure Saffron, check! There was negligible oil, the chicken pieces, very juicy, succulent and perfectly cooked, check! The best biryani till date and in every bite they make you realize that the rice and perfect mixture of spices are an entity. The 'Curd" served alongside – amazing. That thing, I can have multiple bowls of it.. I am surely going back to this one again and again:)

I ordered the chicken biryani and found it to be bland. Additionally in the name of chicken there were 2 small pieces bare bones. Verdict is that it does not deserve a repeat visit.

I ordered a Veg  Dum Biryani from this place.The quantity was good and packaging quite innovative and attractive.<br/>The food was very oily and bland.The quantity of curd that was served along with  Biryani was too less.There was no taste of spices in the rice. Definitely, there was no "aroma" from this one.

Ordered for a mutton and chicken biryani last evening. There were only 3 small pieces of meat in each and almost no masala. 95% of the dish was plain rice. They sell the biryani saying 1 portion serves 2. I say it serves more than 2 , but no use if it is only rice and no masala. They need to get taste into their dish. Seeing the way they send their parcel in a pot and everything excites the customer but if it has no taste then what is the use. Please concentrate on the taste .

I love biryani and now I am a fan of real aroma pot biryani.<br/>I ordered 2 chicken biryani and the quantity is humongous one biryani is more than enough for 2 people.<br/>What i got : check out the pics I have attached.<br/>They served me the best biryani I have ever had .<br/>The chicken pieces were succulent , the long grain basmati rice had proper amount of spices , nd i could realy taste that they have cooked it in ghee. The presentation of the dish made me feel like i ordered from a 5 star restuarant.<br/>Will order again and again , i hope they will maintain the quality.<br/>I guess in short time this place will be the bestseller for biryani.<br/>To all the biryani lovers ,,,,, yes the search has ended for best biryani......
