The overall vibe of this place is quite pleasant. We visited between 4 to 7 o'clock and tried some drinks along with the vegetarian starters, such as paneer. Paneer seems to be the specialty here and it did not disappoint - it was delicious! The staff was very cooperative and provided great service throughout our visit. The ambience of the place is also noteworthy as it's quite inviting and relaxing. In terms of pricing, we found it to be quite affordable, which was a pleasant surprise considering the quality of food and service. All in all, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for some tasty food and a comfortable environment to relax in.

The Sudama garden is a very nice place to hang out in group with your colleague or friends. The ambience is good. Service staff is always ready and happy to suffice customer needs. Service is very fast. Lots of tables and big space for seating arrangements. The starter and dinner food tasted good.

The most Iconic place in Pune for drinks and food. It is very famous and this place is full of crowds every time , however do not worry they really have a huge seating area which includes indoor, outdoor, AC seating and special family seating too. The people mostly visit this place for drinks as they have pocket friendly prices for alcohol and food and they daily have some seafood dishes made and mentioned on board. Also the service is so fast there are N number of waiters ready to serve you and host you. Overall a good place, fast service, tasty food and pocket friendly prices❤ Do visit this place with your friends and through a pocket friendly party 🤪

Sudama is a very nice place to hang out in group with your friends. We have been visiting the place since our college days. The ambience is good. Service staff is always ready and happy to suffice customer needs. Visited this place after about 15 years. Many things have changed and improved. Good to see that they have expanded it and now they have separate section for family as well. Food taste is good too!

Nice place to be with friends. They have 2 separate places to sit on the ground floor and first floor. AC hall on the first floor is a little bit less crowded and you can enjoy your chitchat with friends. Food is good. Service is good.

This is the Story of a hidden gem called Sudama Bar and Restaurant. Started in the early 90s this Restaurant was the heartthrob of many locals and their favourite watering hole since they had an active bar. They are more popular for their Maharashtrian cuisine but their Mangalorean and konkan cuisine is equally delectable. They have a jolly good and very jovial General Manager- Ashwin Rai who hails from Manglore. Nowadays, the place has a thriving business, you get all sorts of drinks, tower beers, draught and also a variety of cocktails and mocktails. They have added an exclusive family dining air conditioned area fully dedicated for hosting get together of family and friends. Coming to the food part- I love their seafood- for instance try the crunchy bombil rawa fry which I find much more tastier than Mahesh Lunch Home or their prawns koliwadas! I also recommend Baby Surmai baked in Tandoor- looks so heavenly and tastes awesome and those of you who love Mangalorean food try their prawns ghee roast and the Surmai gassi- you can thank me later! These two dishes alone can give Mahesh lunch home a run for their money. Staff is lovely, fast and manners are pleasing. You can also try their Maharashtrian dishes like black masala mutton which is very delicious and also a variety of kebabs. Don't miss it for the world!

A better version of the loca next door theka bar. Nothing wrong but nothing fancy. Average cleanliness and service. Both, Alcohol and Food prices are reasonable. Food is good (Avoid ordering any fancy dishes and stick to the basic tandoor and curries. We had a fish tandoori and tangdi and both turned out amazin Portions were larger than expected. The customer base is usually stags and middle aged men. Considering its in the middle of the city with a good location, it gets a lot of footfall and can get super busy. You could see service gaps here and there on busy days.

We had a dispute with the waiter while serving liquor as they served us something different from the order and were very very rude when we confronted about it, but the owner managed it for us and was very polite to handle the situation. The food was okay, the place is crowded during after office hours and on weekends.

This place is near sancheti hospital Shivaji Nagar area. Place is at prime location. Food is excellent and at reasonable prices. Service is also great, staff is friendly and helpful. Immediately you will get services. They provide liquor 🥃 also. It's open till midnight 1 or 2 o'clock. Atmosphere is healthy and cheerful. We visit this place every 15 days. Restaurant is little bit noisy but cheerful. Parking is available but very limited space.

I had never seen such a huge crowd. We ordered some chicken starter dishes and masharoom pulav was awesome. Must visit places at least once. Only parking is a bit of an issue.

The place is nice. I visited this place with my friends to enjoy few drinks. I enjoyed unlimited free snacks with the drinks, to be honest! The staff was very cooperative and polite. The service was good. We didn't order much but Chicken 65, Banjara Kabab and Dal khichadi was good. The only thing I didn't like is the portion served for dal khichadi. It was too small even for 2 people. Overall good experience.

This is my all time favourite restaurant and bar. It's like a family go to place for us. My family, friends, colleagues, everyone love this place because of the delicious food served here. It's very pocket friendly and has everything cooked to perfection. The chef here is amazing and dishes out some amazing food even customized as per your liking. Must try - Butter chicken, paneer jungli, mocktails, palak lahsuni, Chinese bhel. If you want to have a great dinner with some drinks with your family or friends, do visit when in Shivajinagar area. You will not be disappointed. The staff here is very welcoming and instantly gets friendly with you and recommendations come as per your taste and liking. Highly recommended. Do visit. When you order for a quarter of a drink, they give you the actual sealed bottle of it. Not poured in a flask. This way you can ensure there was no alteration done in your favourite drink.

Good Place to Hang Out, But Very Crowded. You get proper Menu. Okay To Visit Once in A week for Alcohol Lovers.

Hidden inside on the lane connecting J.M. Road and SSPMS Signal (Shivaji Putala)...Good ambience and away from noise of both main roads nearby. Nice service in both NonAC & AC Sections with quality and quantity food. Seafood wont be recommended.

paradise for drinking people ... me and my friends used to visit this place during our college day as we had very less money ... this restaurant had excellent food (quality n quantity wise) and was very cheap. our usual order use to be chicken handi , roti and jeera rice...  this place is not for family.

Mostly people come here in groups after office to drink. I have not seen any families coming here. Service is fast and food of this bar is fantastic.

One of the my favorite place for dal khichadi and cool place hangout with buddys pocket rang hotel good service with teast food and best staff.

The place is a very open one with loads of seating options. Tried this tangdi kabab and it was worth a try. Didn't disappoint me on my first try. The place boasts of a not so much cool ambience but is good for friends and guys who want to have drinks and food. The price is reasonable and the service is fast too.

Very bad customer service, good food but rude staff and the worst part is management supports the staff even after knowing their fault.Even after paying our bill on time and tipping their serving staff management cannot guarantee service. Also their staff is drunk most of times after 10pm. Decent place to go out with stags after work , food is above expectation and service is pretty quick too!<br/>It has big lawn to serve at night which is a good option during breezy days !

Chose it for late night hangout with colleagues after a long and hectic day ,there team was proactive to set the table for us and we had decent experience ,we had ordered for Tata fish but the fish was not fresh, even though masala was tasting good, had chilli chicken which was average,service was OK and ambience is OK.<br/><br/><br/>

This is for friends only. No family here as this is famous for people who visit here solely for alcohol. Having said that, the food is surprisingly good no great. <br/>They serve alcohol in 180ml or quarter which makes it very pocket friendly and group friendly. The tables are arranged both inside and outside the restaurant. Was sad at the news that it got closed due to recent order by Supreme court to ban the sale of alcohol within 500m from highway. However,recent notification that this is not applicable in municipal limits is good. Hope it has reopened. <br/>I love the fried kaju there. Kaju ke bina whisky adhura hai 😀. Also, the starters are very good. My friends swear by the non veg food there. They even provide complimentary chakli and boiled groundnuts along with drinks. Their daal khichdi is great. Tables are arranged a bit very close to each other and its a bit loud but an absolute bang for buck!!

A place which is notorious. But still manages to serve good food along with alcohol. Chicken junglee and mutton sukka in black masala is a must must try. Chicken tandoori is also good. Sudama is for the ones who prefer to drink by quarter system. Alcohol rates are quite cheap compared to other bars in the vicinity. Free snacks provided by good in quality as well as quantity. Never tried food there, but have heard some good reviews from friends for butter chicken, egg masala and daal khichadi

Very old restaurant, visiting since almost 10 yrs now , However recently had a bad experience with the waiters there , they become arrogant and stole my jacket they did it purposely as we were already in a conversation some about the service which they are providing. Moreover Hotel management did not cooperate. Not ready to show CC TV footage ,when we called cops then they showed video and clearly seen jacket which I wore while entering the hotel and they don't have cctv inside the hotel. Hotel management did not even show a courtesy that the jacket will be returned as found instead we only hiding it to create seen out of it they telling to the cop. Funniest part is ahead cop's asking me the jacket purchase bill. Finally topic got close as "Hotel is not responsible for any customer belongings." Good listen learnt. Be careful. Thefts around you.

Well first of all what surprises you is the location of this place.Seating gives you a feeling of a local bar but the service is good.A place to go where you can drink peacefully and talk with less budget.Also you get unlimited "chakhna" with drinks!<br/>Starters are good but main course is not that great.<br/>Cheers!

I have visited this place with my friends. We ordered chicken related dish for starters ( I don't remember that name ) but it was delicious. We enjoyed to the core. For main course we ordered butter chicken n Roti. Butter chicken was good. This is the perfect bar. you can enjoy with your friends only because this is not the family restaurant.

This hotel is near mangala talkies. Much famous and old restaurant and bar in the area. They have renewed it recently. Large sitting capacity. Food quality is ok and rates are reasonable. On weekends this place is too much crowdy. Not suitable for family. Service is good and quick but on weekends starting friday service is not so good really. Parking is the issue on weekends for two and four wheelers. Located in conjusted area. Overall nice place to hangout with friends.

Tried Veg kolhapuri and Roti. And jeera rice. The taste was very good. I would say one of the finest veg kolhapuri I have eaten over here. And enough quantity as well at the price range which other hotels offer. Basically it is a bar so avoid family going there. The food is tasty. Will visit again.

Try their Chicken Dishes and You will really like them. The quality and quantity is very good. The ambience and environment is terrible for families so not recommended for families at all. Cheap booze available - if that's what you are looking for - then its okay to hang out here with male friends and have a economical party! First time in Pune. It was a disappointment as taste of the food was not great. Ordered keema and chicken biryani which was not so good keema has less mutton and more of some gravy and rice had poor taste no salt too much masala and less quantity.

Central place for gathering with friends. Egg chili is USP for hotel. Very attractive hotel in the month end, but always crowded. The staff is little slow. The food is not extra ordinary,but is up to standard of taste as well as quality. Parking is difficult, if you reach late. The hotel is pocket friendly, you can also use sodexo for food.

First things first. My review is not based on the ambiance (which is not bad, but it's not a family place ). Coming to the food, it's very good and a complete value for money. The mutton sukha totally rocks. Butter chicken is also very good. This is the first time I've seen Butter chicken with egg in it..and it's really good. <br/>Do try their other mutton dishes also.

We had to find a central place for get together with friends. The rain was crazy so had to find a place quickly. Quickly explored on Zomato and directly hit the place called Sudama. <br/><br/>The place has ample sitting capacity and mainly crowded with regular customers being near Corporation. Interiors are luminous. <br/><br/>The staff is quick to arrange a table for 10+ and start taking your orders. <br/><br/>Food has average taste, found it little spicy for everything. But Chicken Sukka Dhangari was better of all.

I have come here in several occasions, and every time to have a booze party. this is an ideal place to have a drinks party as the liquor is cheap, ambiance is nice and food is cheap and tastes just great. they server a lot of starters with drinks, so you hardly need starters. but if you would like to, order tandoori surmai and tandoori surmai. chicken biryani is ok, chicken masala is good. must order: dal khichadi. it is amazing!!

Sudama has surprisingly very good food inspite of being a booze joint. Lollipop kabab, Mutton handi, surmai tava are my favourite! A total value for money joint. God bless its owner!!
