Only in Bavdhan!
Punjabi Bhukhad is a new (to me at least) food delivery service currently operating only in Bavdhan.
Day before yesterday, nobody in my home was in mood to cook anything for dinner.
Fortunately, few days before that Punjabi Bhukhad guys have dropped their pamphlet and hence I had it handy.
Thought of giving it a try.
As it is a new venture, you have to order the food on call (no app etc.)
Ordered Mix Veg, Cheese Kofta and Rotis.
The total bill was JUST 188 Rs.!!
Yes, it is super cheap.
Until the food arrived, I had a doubt about quantity and quality of the food. But as soon as I opened the packet it vanished.
Both subzis were packed in proper plastic containers, which is surprising considering the price.
Taste:
1. Mix Veg: Perfect Dry Mix Veg. No extra unnecessary gravy / spices etc. Also it lived upto its name as it really had many vegetables in it, not just potatoes. Felt like a comfort food I would love to have regularly.
2. Cheese Kofta: Red Gravy with 2 Large Cheese koftas in it. Soothing taste. Not at all overdone.
I think, the owner himself / some family member came for delivery and was very polite.
When I asked him to keep the change, he refused and asked for more valuable thing: a review. Which I a did just now.
They don't have an outlet / restaurant yet and currently operate as home delivery or take away only.
You should definitely try whenever you want to have good comfort food.

This is the best place if you are craving for delicious punjabi "ghar ka khana". It's kadhi pakoda is a must try. Infact every dish , be it paneer, noodles, sandwiches, all are a must try .

Ordered food from here for the 1st time.ofcourse for the offer Zomato was providing. But was super sceptical about it, since many said the paneer wasn't soft (month's old reviews)..still took a chance looking at overall rating and ordered dal and paneer tatatak ( being a Mumbaikar at heart; the word takatak gave such a nostalgic feeling,that I had to try it).so taste wise both the dishes were lovely.the paneer was soft (may be they improvised looking at the reviews) and the gravy was spicy, which I loved the most about it.may be will try and eat there soon.

Unexpected!!!! I ordered Maharaja Thali and it was awesome.
Pros -
1. It was oil free and I feel like my mother send me some healthy food.
2. Amount of all sabzi and gravy and curry can be for 2-3 people
3. It was balanced masaledaar as I earlier said it was home food
Cons-
1. Price is very high for a thali it should not be more than 200
2. I was unaware what I about to get in my maharaja thali, so you should at least write there what maharaja thali includes
3. I have to choose one from buttermilk and lassi and I don't like milk products, so we should have some other options other than milk products

This restaurant is opened within mall. Its majority delivery kitchen however theirs is small place for dining too so you can have food then and their itself. Had ordered paneer kadhai, Dal makhani, roti and jeera rice. I liked makhani dal . Overall, food was great and even value for money. Worth vising once.

one of the best and authentic punjabi food point in Pune. Its a small place inside a mall but I must say they have planned it perfectly. ambience wise its beautiful. I liked there wooden theme. staff and owner are punjabi. i had discussion with their manager. there attitude towards costumer is very good. i felt very happy after talking to them. and there food is just amazing. i tried paneer lababdar and roti. paneer was perfectly cooked and roti will remind you of your mom hands food. my overall rating is exelent for these guys. keep it up

I had a very nice experience having dinner here. The paneer paratha I ordered was tasty and authentic, served with a generous chunk of butter and thick yummy curd. The ambience was pleasant, and of course, the foot tapping Punjabi music completed the Punjabi dining experience. Will keep going back to this place! 😊

My friend is a regular of this place. We always enjoy the items ordered. Paneer , daal , buttermilk, fried rice , Thali. Taste in general is good. Service, great. The staff is very polite and they are open to customisation according to customer. It’s a boon for the daily office goers.

This restaurant is difficult to spot from road. It is inside a complex where New Punjabi Grill and Rush Hours are located.
This is a vegetarian restaurant. Seems that they sell more parcels than dine in.
Had visited for lunch. Had good choices in menu. Thy have half and full portion choice available for subzi which is very good for a single diner. The half portion was more than enough for one person. The prices were reasonable... I would say economical.
The food is tasty. Service was fast. Saw few diners having food from their own lunch box.
They have indoor and outdoor seating options. The indoor capacity is for about 20 persons and outdoor capacity is for about 16 persons.
Parking for two and four wheeler is not an issue. You can park your vehicle on NDA Pashan road (main road).
I would certainly recommend this restaurant.
The food over here tastes good. We ordered a half dish of gravy which was enough for 2 people. And it's cheap. They also serve wheat roti as well. Overall good place. Just the ambience is not that great!!

I had just ordered Punjabi Thali with request for replacing rice in the Thali with extra chapatis.
This Thali had Kadhai Paneer, Dal Makhani, 4 chapatis(Ghar jaisi), salad and butter milk/chaas. PFA picture. Do not judge the amount of sabzi/ daal by the photo. The plate was deep enough to have sufficient quantity of sabzi.
The whole of the order amounted to a very reasonable amount when compared to the quality and quantity of the food that was delivered. They had packed the food with a plate, spoon, glass, straw, napkins, like everything. This shows how much they care about the customers, giving them an experience of ease and satisfaction.

Rare eatery that serves REAL Punjabi food! Other Punjabi restaurants serve Punjabi food only in name. Punjabi Bhukkad has the real flavour of Punjab. The owners and chefs are from Punjab and serve yummy food. Very hospitable. It's a small eatery with limited seating capacity but the food is worth it.

It may look like your average neighborhood eatery, but Punjabi Bhukhad is anything but!
I wandered in with two friends on a Friday night, and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of authentic Punjabi Cuisines. The restaurant was filling up quickly (it was almost 8:30 pm) but we managed to snag a table.
We ordered Paneer stater along with Rumali Roti and Chole Chana Gravy in main course followed by Kofta Kadi and Rice.
The Rumali Roti was nice and soft. Spices in Chana gravy were well balanced. Kofta kadi was hero dish of our main course.
We also ordered Dry Fruit Kheer in dessert. Kheer had great texture & taste with fusion of rich flavours. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit.
Don’t let appearances fool you—the decor may be divey, but the food is fantastic. This place is perfect for groups or a casual date night.
A beautiful little place for a quick bite or a leisurely lunch. Is a bit difficult to spot as it is inside the commercial complex (Runwal Platinum). However, you'll hear the sound of peppy punjabi songs before you enter the place. The food will remind you of your trips to Punjab and you'll keep coming back for more. The courteous owners have succeeded in creating a great atmosphere and do perfect justice to the "bhukkad" in you. 😍

I have ordered many food items from punjabi bhukhad from starters like honey chilli potato, chilli paneer to main course like cheese kofta, Dal makhani, kadai paneer and chole bhature to deserts like Rabdi all are very authentic and traditional in taste and it gives you the feel of pure punjabi food as you are eating at your home.
Apart from above there are other snacks like Panner club sandwich and cheese kathi roll which are very tasty and crispy and I use to eat them very frequently.
