Review Sahara Family Restaurant - Pune

A good place to chill with friends and family. We tried veg/non veg starters with drinks and the food quality was good. The service was fast and it has decent ambience as well. However, i find the restaurant on the pricer side, hence deducting a star.

Food is good here. Complementary snacks is available with drinks. Good view and cozy chairs to relax. I have enjoyed day light coming from big glass windows and seeing outside road with vibes of motion....

A nice place to hangout with a few friends. The ambience or music isn't any thing great bt food is nice n economical.

Overall Ambience is good but service is little slower. Need to improvise in the rates also. Menu rates are too expensive as per the location. Only if you want to seat outside then you can go with your family. Otherwise good place for bachelors.

Nice place to visit. Specifically for beers. I visit this place just for pitcher free with 1 tower offer. This offer is only valid if you visit before 8:30PM. If you visit after 8:30PM, they won't provide you the offer. Two people can manage within ₹1300 with other snacks+beer.

Veg food, too good and affordable, Good for family get together. Only 1 major problem too slow service. Get in early and expect a delay of 30 mins per order, best option order in 1 go.

It's a good place for family and friends both. This place serves drinks and tasty veg food (can't say about non veg). The service is sometimes not up to the mark due to rush. The down side with this place is it's washroom, which is unisex and remains in worst condition. The restaurant has both - inside and outside seating arrangements.

It's a good place for cheap food and alcohol. Also you can enjoy cricket or football match. Now they have renovated it, so it looks much new and good. The prices have also increased a bit but still will not drain your pockets.

Located in the junction beside Pheonix mall and Viman Nagar. It has great and friendly hospitality. The service is good, moderate is pricing. The restaurant is vividly planned and inside also it's simply awesome. One thing which can be improved is washrooms. Must visit.

No tasty foods and service is very slow it tooks 1 hour after ordering my food. Taste is not upto mark quantity is also less overall didn't like

The food was yummy and the staff for very polite and helpful.... We ordered soup along with chapati and a veg kofta dish.... The curry was very delicious....

Sahara has a fantastic location, as it is right opposite the Phoenix mall and very close to Trion IT Park. The usual crowd here are the people from this IT Park, who assemble here for a quick drink before heading home. They generally occupy the ground floor, while the first floor is a family section, with air-conditioning.<br/><br/>The food is good, particularly the starters. Found the waiters to be courteous and offer a decent service. The one big issue on the ground floor seating is the mosquitoes !  They can do with a better ambiance and professionalism.

Good place for people who love to hang out with the sports environment...Food is good specially chilly potatoes and my favourite French fries..just loved it...its value for money roo

Make sure you reach venue by 9 and give your last order by 10:15.. post which be ready to experience completely unprofessional behaviour and service and Pathetic experience..

Always check your bill after you done with lunch/ dinner and drink's...They charge for items which u even not ordered on table.. normally we don't check bills but I suggest all to check bill before payment...These guys are making frauds ....I should rate them -1

Ambience : Was good. Out door sitting is total bar for mens. Inside they made for family with no AC, and only single fan. Should improve on mostly family section if they have any plans to do so. At top again for family with smoking area with good ambience. Mostly came to see couple's on top section of the restaurant. (3.5/5)<br/><br/>Food: Mocktail was okay, and food was most interesting. Yaayyy... It's hard to get food quality better than this. We preferred Peri Peri masala fries, and chicken manchurian dry as starter and it turns to be too good. Chicken lababdar as main course is highly recommended, if you are going for type boneless. Highy rated resturantants, should learn what people need is the quality food and not only ambience. (4.5/5)<br/><br/>Service: Little slow in family section as crowd for family with children was very less. There is no separate services given in this section. Seeing, many tables around, they may have a plan for increasing the family crowd. But overall staff and manager was co-operative and helpful. (4/5)<br/>

Old is gold truely said....<br/>This restaurant is around 10years down the lane and still the best..<br/>So I revisited this place with my family and liked the new changes but then the food was as same as earlier but with the more modified version

I had visited this place on 27.04.19 along with my wife and son. Applied the zomato gold option of 1+1 on food. I was told by the waiter that if I order one food item, the 2nd item of same or a lower amount will be free. Accordingly I had ordered a promfret tandoori, a promfret fry and sea food soup along with other items. However on the bill, the charges were waved off on the soup and not on the 2nd item of pomfret that I ordered. On asking the reason, I was told that in sea food options the waiver is not given on food item but on soup. Surprisingly the bill that was given to me for payment did not show soup at all and instead they had mentioned an item of prawn and had shown the waiver in this item which never was ordered by me.<br/><br/>Such quality of restaurants either needs to be deleted from Zomato's list or the staff needs to be trained to give the right information and not cheat people.<br/><br/>I was a frequent visitor to this restaurant but from the very negative experience bestowed upon me by the staff for such a penny amount, I will never visit the restaurant again. It may not make any difference to the owner, but yes, they have lost a frequent customer forever.<br/>

Located just at the opposite of Phonix mall nagar road entry, this is kind of sports bar. The waitors are very courteous, food is excellent, prices are very affordable, smoking is allowed so think about taking ur kids. Raju was our table person who addressed our orders with due dilligence. Overall a great experience sipping ur beer while watching IPL in the screen.

Normal bar with really good food. SHOULD TRY JANGLI TANDOORI CHICKEN, AND CHICKEN SEAK KABAB. Average 1500 INR for 2. VICKY as a manager is polite and knows the business, waiters are not trained and are sometimes rude. They are not happy to serve you at times with zomoto gold. Feels like we are doing someting wrong by using zomoto gold. Raj and vivek as a waiter are proffissionaly untrained. And please check the bill before you make the payment. Had 3 ciircumstances were wrong bill was produced.

The Sahara is the best place that I have been to pune vimannagar. Dilicius food classy ambince, sick vibes, great service, name it and they have got it all! I like this food fraek shake and tndoori promfet very delicious. I shere my all friend please visit this Sahara.

This has been favourite place from last 2-3 years for hangout over Friday nights. They have outside seating area also . Not so crowded ,it's nice place to be with friends for drinks :-)

Visited the restaurant on wednesday evening and sat on the ground floor, we gave the order but my friend ask to move inside so we move to upstair. overtheir the staff told us to give the order again so we gave the order again. we order for one masala papad and couple of drinks, but i had never eaten the kind of masala papad they give to us, the kind of smell was coming out from the masala papad was like they had given us a spoiled one. staff was not even interested in attending to us. they were busy with their gossiping and watching cricket. food quality and service was very poor and horrible on first floor. ground floor staff are little sincere. will not visit again.

Visited this place at 1pm for lunch buffet. Guy on reception said timing has changed. When asked about new time guy said between 2pm and 3pm. Does any place have this small bandwidth for lunch buffet? After months of this experience time still shown on zomato is different like before.

The food is awesome and mocktails are just amazing. luv them. Do try stawberry one. And ambience is good too. Do visit and thanks to the management. Staff is tkk cooperative.

Went for lunch...tried the lunch buffet. In the buffet menu, there were 4 staters, 1 soup, 1 drink, maincourse ( naan/roti, daal, rice, 2 sabjis, etc), 1 sweetdish....starters and soup were really nice, drink served can be better, maincourse was nice, little improvement can be done, sweet served was bad. Service was really good and fast...

Expensive booze, poor service, no complimentary snacks with booze!! We have been regular to this place but not anymore. They recently did some renovation on 1st floor and customers have to bear the brunt in form of super expensive rates 😂😂

Went there once with office colleague for drinks as our office is nearby. Drinks were good as well as food. Specially cheese garlic bread was excellent. Ambience was however not upto the mark, not the place for family.

Thikthak bar. Ambience is also OK type. Side dishes r over priced. It's crowded cause of the location. Good place to get in on an urgent note after office or a hectic day.

I found this place as I had visited and loved Sahara NXT. This place offers both indoor and outdoor seating. Reasonable pricing. We ordered drinks by the nip. Couple of chicken starters as well.. Prompt service despite being packed. Loved the food. Will give it a good rating as it did not even punch a big hole in my pocket! <br/>

Decent place. Compared to other resto bars, this has a very good ambience. We brought our guitars there and enjoyed ourself. With a few beers, everyone started singing and the atmosphere was incredible. The only drawback was that the food was average and lacked the spark.

It is one of my favourite restaurant in Viman Nagar. Its ambience is very nice with decent food quality. It is reasonable by cost. Service is not so effective, staff serves the water very late. I think ACs was purposely plugged off (may be cost saving ) When we asked to lower the temperature of another AC they said woh utna hi hain. <br/><br/>Oveall it is very nice restaurant just need to work on hospitality.

There are very few places which are equally good for casual dining as well as drinking. With lots of options to choose on their interestingly prepared menu.<br/><br/>Food was good and the ambiance to specially the starters like Lehsooni Chilli Murg and Murg Banjara Kabab both the starter was 5 star in my rating and other items was good.<br/><br/>Go Once to have the flavor and njoy the different food items present.
