Review House Of Mandarin - Pune

I have been to this place twice. On our first visit we had à la cart, which was OK but on our second visit we decided to have their unlimited Sushi and dimsum menu. Dimsum menu is better in comparison to Sushi. We tried so many types of Sushi and Dimsum. We had a good experience and this can be good place for Asian cuisine lovers. The service was bit slow and the ambience is beautiful.

House of Mandarin is a plush restaurant serving archetypal Chinese cuisine, with a twist, to the Pune public. Word of caution to those who plan to go- this is not your run of the mill Chinese Restaurant serving Indo-Chinese Fusion AKA Chindian cuisine. This is somewhat close to veritable bona-fide Chinese cuisine- you have to somehow develop a taste for it. The flagship appetiser of this place is turnip cake with burnt garlic and scallions. They claim it as their bestseller but I could n't quite fathom the dish or put a finger on it! Having said that I would say there are lot of other dishes I really liked- red snapper (my favourite fish) in black pepper sauce, lamb in red chilli oil, wok tossed lamb in Hoisin sauce and red snapper in chilli oil and wok tossed blue rice with edamame beans( this comes in a glass dome). Drinks are interesting here- whiskey sour was bubbly, so was a coffee flavoured drink I had can't remember the name! Mocktails are average. So folks this is a close to OG place for those Mandarin dishes you may like to try- keep an open mind and you may like it!

#positivereview Place - House of Mandarin, Sheraton Grand, Bund garden road It had been a long time since I visited a restaurant for a food review.. much less a coveted brand like House of Mandarin. My favourite part of the evening was not only the amazing food but the comfortable dining experience that the restaurant staff showered upon us. Everything from the ambiance to the vast and absolutely awesome food was impeccable. "Mandarin cuisine originated from the royal courts of China comprising of mild spices, colorful vegetables, delicate meats and rice, to create a medley of colors, textures, aromas and flavours"- I wouldn't agree any less. It is a place you would want to take your loved ones and treat them to an amazing array of delicacies.

Hello🌎 People today's review is on house of mandarin✍️ Asian food for us is all about starters. What we tried👇 Turnip cake with burnt garlic n scallions-It is a savory rice cake loaded with daikon radish. It's steamed, and then pan fried to create a tender texture with a crispy crust. With flavours of pepper, rice flour adding to the crispy texture and corn starch binds it together with love...the crispy garlic believe me you!!!I aint a garlic lover...but this crispy one sitting perched on top, makes you just quiet happily gobble it up!Mouth freshner!!! Mandarin style mushroom dumpling with porcini cream and gold leaf-Aaa the gold leaf! All about the lovely touch for all you lovely people made of gold. The dumplings are soft, good mouthful as well look at that perfect round, with the poricini cream sauce which gives it,its distinct aroma, making it like a warm blanket on the hot dumpling in...with aromatic herbs and seasonings, these delicious pockets of treasure are fun filled to tease your buds with textures and flavours. These pot stickers are truly yumm.Go for it! Crispy broccolli sushi-tempura fried brocolli rolled with cream cheese n spicy sauce-With a delicate crunch and medium spiced flavour, this one is melt in the mouth! The rice is tightly wrapped around the brocolli like two lovers entwined in sheer happiness, and with love this beautiful, obivo it will be damn good in flavour.Things that make you go mmm! So,yes all in all a grand place Lovely food A must visit for sure Happy Eating!

The Sassy Spoon has given way to this chic Chinese restaurant from the same group spearheaded by Rachel Goenka. They've opened up House of Mandarin in Hotel Sheraton Grand. The place is huge and nicely done. The interiors are elegant and chic and has the perfect set up for get togethers or date nights. I chose to sit in their outdoor seating space and here's what all i tried at HOM! 1. Crispy lotus stem 2. Butterfly prawns 3. Wok tossed chicken 4. Very berry khatta (drink) 5. Vegetable crystal dimsum 6. Crispy prawn cheung fun 7. Prawn har gao 8. Chicken fried rice 9. Coconut & Yuzu mousse with Mandarin sorbet 10. Dark chocolate & raspberry mousse with raspberry sorbet Go check them out and thank me later. #jerlynfoodfanatic

Beautiful decor, good choice in the menu. Service is good and does not rush you for anything. Good place to visit for a fine dining experience. Prices are on the higher side and main food portions are well sized except appetizers etc being smallish.

I recently visited House for Mandarin and it is a fantastic restaurant that serves up an incredible selection of Asian cuisine. The special menus are particularly impressive, with a great variety of dim sums, sushi platters, and Asian cocktails to choose from. The dim sums were steamed to perfection and full of delicious flavors, while the sushi platters were fresh and tasty. The Asian cocktails were a great complement to the meal, with unique flavors and a perfect balance of sweetness and tartness. The service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. Overall, House for Mandarin is a great spot for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.

Absolutely loved their Sunday brunch! Amazing spread! The sushi service was super slow which they can definitely work on, but the food- the taste, quality, menu selection was all bang on perfect! Decently priced at 1500 with taxes for sushi dimsum inclusive spread! Would love to go again!
