Review Pawan Restaurant - Pushkar

Just STOP reading and go eat here! This places is fabulous... After a few weeks in other parts of India - we really needed a change of pace... this is the first place we ate when we got to Pushkar. We had a late lunch around 3-4 so there was plenty of seating (this place and seats fill up fast) everyone wants to eat here! Every item is cooked right in front of you and STUFFED with delicious goodness! There are many options to choose from and they happily will customize your order if needed. We sat there watching orders been cooked in front of us and kept telling each other .." oh, tomorrow we are going to try that !" I cannot imagne not eating here every few days! The taste the smells ..YUM! Plus, this is right in the heart of the market so window shopping or people watching while eating - what could be better! We had the falafel plate...everything on this plate was scrumptious! Tahini sauce fantastic, yogurt sauce my favorite, falafels were so moist, The french fries were perfect. The refreshing salad - YUM! This was so big that we shared and were stuffed. We will come back over and over! @FollowBrownBacon

Found on Google and was very happy I did. This place goes over the top in making you feel welcome. Provided complimentary chai while our wonderful falafel wraps were being prepared. Extra chips and spicy hummus for free too. I will definitely come here again. Very happy atmosphere to enjoy a comforting meal. Thank you!

Biggest choice of falafel, laffa, rolls I've ever seen. All vegetarian and prepared in front of you. The garlic cream topping is my favourite. A full meal in abt. 150 rupees. Never got stuck sheet reading here. Chairs could be cleaner. Dear Indians, don't just throw the packing in the floor. There is a big dustbin. ++ 2022: In the moment only the left one is open and no more chai available here due to Covid situation.

Falafel rolls / wraps things (think they’re called laffa roll) absolutely 10/10. Tastiest veggie thing I’ve ever eaten. Really cool guys working there too. Would highly recommend popping by here if shopping around in Pushkar markets!

Feels like being 24 again and getting me some delicious food after a long night out! The food is fantastic and the staff very friendly. They gave us some Chai and a falafel sample when we sat down. Absolutelly recommendable!

Amazing. Strongly recommend paying a visit to Pawan. While the food was spectacular, we were equally impressed with the friendly service. They brought us a bunch of freebies during our meals there and made an effort to remember us during our time in Pushkar. They even would have us stop in for free chai in the afternoons when we walked by.

Please do yourself a favour and go to the Pawan Restaurant while you're in Pushkar. Delicious Israeli food served here with big portions at a low cost. You will be showered with free chai and usually other snacks like fries and felafels. Good coffee too! The staff here (especially the main cook) are so friendly and welcoming. Had to stop by every day while in Pushkar!

What: Yellow cheeseburger and falafel hummus with garlic mix veg and yellow cheese

Food: ⭐⭐⭐⚡
Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⚡
Quantity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Comment: The place is in main market with a very friendly staff and chef prepares fresh food right in front of you my actual rating was 3.5 for this place but extra point for service. A variety of Lebanese food is available, so you might need assistance in deciding what to eat. Falfel and burger were average neither bad nor anything special. Overall a good place to strike down your hunger while exploring the streets of Pushkar.

Located on the street side in Choti Basti, Pushkar, they serve some amazing Falafel Wraps.

My favourite was no. 6 and 9. When you go there, just select the dish and tell them the numbers. They'll make it easier for you.

Service was fast and the guys are very quick in making the wraps.

A must try if you're in Pushkar.
