Review The Laughing Buddha Vegan Cafe Pushkar - Pushkar

We stopped in here to enjoy the ever changing view of the market down below. It’s a great little spot out of the hustle and bustle but not so far away you’ll miss the details. The food is all handmade on site from local ingredients and is very delicious. I noticed there was some signs around inside the cafe talking about how the proceeds are used to help with education costs for local children in need. It said they are always looking for volunteers so I popped up stairs to inquire. Here I met Sheru, he is working single handedly during the less busy months to prepare all the food from scratch and serve the customers. He was happy to have some help immediately so I found myself serving customers that evening. It was a lot of fun and Sheru was happy to show me some cooking and tell me some stories of the cafe and Pushkar as we went. I came back a few times during my week in Pushkar to hangout with Sheru and give him a hand when things got busy. The food was always excellent and he gave me all the free snacks I could want when I was helping him out. I would definitely recommend stopping by, you can give Sheru a hand in the cafe if you like, speak to him about volunteering with the children’s school work, donate some bits and pieces for the kids or just stop in for a lovely meal and support this worthy cause while you enjoy the view. Would recommend the special lassi or laughing Buddha balls if you’d like to add a little magic to your evening 😄

Me and my partner dined here in august 2023 during our trip of Rajasthan . The place is comfy and the owner Isa very nice persone. I highly recommend this vegetarian restaurant, each plate is made with local ingredient and everything is hands made. Super buona la curry pumpkins!!

It's a wonderful place. This family-run balcony cafe offers great street views. Located in the main area, this cafe boasts of some wonderful dishes. I ordered fries and Rose soda which I liked. What I loved was that they provided the ingredients and I prepared the beverage as per my taste and desire. I loved the concept. Also, the care does social service. I contributed a small amount towards the social cause this cafe runs. You can also contribute.

Amazing food and a great social cause! Happy to have tried the different sandwiches and curries, the chocolate balls are insane! All vegetarian or vegan but delicious none the less. Thank you so much, would happily recommend to anyone visiting Pushkar as a must try!!

One of the highlights of our trip to Pushkar! We ate here every day, the food was soooo tasty and healthy! A great relaxing vibe located overlooking one of the busy streets in the main town! The owner makes this place great, he is so friendly, welcoming and funny! It’s a must visit when in Pushkar!

Tiny nice restaurant with view on the main „market road“ below (which can be a bit noisy). We had a vegan omelette and a Salat bowl which arrived in no time (which is not necessarily usual in pushkar coffee places). The omelette came with good homemade bread and few homemade dips which were really delicious!!! Also, you get oil & balsamic vinegar for your salad dressing which is a win! The plates might not look as appealing as in other coffee places, taste however was great! Also, service was very friendly!!!

Amazing, delicious vegan food (vegetarian options too). One of the few restaurants in Indian tourist areas that makes everything fresh. Sheru is an awesome guy and this restaurant helps fund an amazing educational mission of his. Will be coming back while we are here!

Best food in Pushkar! Everything is homemade and so delicious, have to try the bread and peanut butter. And most important the owner is so lovely.

We had dinner here and was sooooo good!! :) Sheru was such a humble and welcoming guy and he definitely loves to cook, It reflects in his food so much! When people talk about putting love into a dish this is exactly what they mean. We had a warm salad and it had so many quality healthy things in it! Big change from the fried goods you get round india (they are good aswell usually) but was nice to have fresh veges.

A small little himalayan cafe serving some good breakfast and other food options. The cafe is very hygienic and located in the prime location.
Went for a breakfast and some chai and wasn't disappointed at all. A good place with a good view of pushkar lake.

The place is located in the market area, and offers decent seating arrangement.
The food was average and the staff was friendly.

The view from the terrace is also not so good.
But, can be visited if you just want to relax and have snacks.

The food was tasteless and overpriced. The staff were incredibly rude to us and kept us waiting while they looked on their phones. Very poor experience, would not recommend at all

This place sits on top of the pushkar market. Quite n cozy place with a chill vibe. What we did not expect was the food to be so fab! Ordered toasts with peanut butter, cheese & some muesli with fruits n yogurt. We also added the big buddha breakfast after some thought. To our luck, every thing came on time n seemed so fresh. Their peanut butter is homemade & the texture is beautiful. Same goes for their hummus. This place is definitely recommended for an early morning breakfast which keeps you going throughout the day. Do try their brewed black coffee. It's one of the best I have had !

The cafe is near the market and in tiny lanes of pushkar . You got to see the swords shops on the way to this cafe .Such a small place to sit , but they have organic food. They will prepare even the bun or bread in their own kitchen. You can go for snacks here I would not suggest if you are super hungry to visit because service is very slow. The taste is good and everything is freshly prepared. We tried cold coffee, burger, fried rice, main course we have mix veg and chapati. Sharing few pics

It's a tiny place with a cool vibe and good street view.

I've tried the Salad and Veg burger both were awesome... The coffee was out of the world.. A must try. Though you might have to wait a little for food after ordering it, but it's worth the wait.

And the best thing is 50% of profit goes to Charity for school children. Sheru bhaiya is doing good work.
