Review Milkman Guesthouse - Pushkar

We really enjoyed our time here. The rooms were very clean, the people lovely and the food wonderful. It's the first time in India where we met collectives of people staying long term in a hotel. The place really is wonderfull I can't stress this enough. It's so nice I logged onto my other Google accounts to leave a good review.

Milk Man Guest House is quite easy to find. Everywhere around you'll see blue-white signs showing you the way to this Guest House. The family which runs this place is really lovely. They do anything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Cleaning, cooking food, giving advice for walks in the city or how to get to other cities. Pushkar lake and the city center are just a 5 to 10 minutes walk away from Milk Man Guest House. And still it is a quiet place and you barely hear the street noise from the center. The prices for rooms and food are unbelievable low. But it doesn't mean you get less quality. Everything is home-cooked, so you will enjoy some real traditional Indian dishes here. I stayed in the dorm first. After one weel I decided to change to a private room. And I tell you just this: I paid in other cities in India more Rupees for a bed in dorm than in Milk Man Guest House for a big private room.

I stayed in this guesthouse with my 13 year old daughter for 2 weeks. The couple that runs it were very welcoming & we had many good chats with them. My daughter loved it because every time we ordered food or drinks they invited her into the kitchen to help & learn how to make it. They also took us by motorbike to feed the monkeys one morning. They also cooked & shared with a big family meal with us on our last night. The rooms are quiet & the a/c keeps it nice and cool. It's only a 5 minute walk to the town square. I would definitely stay here again!

We had an awesome time over there. We spent 5 nights in a double room. Even if the weather was cold, the bed kept us warm with this awesome warm blankets. We slept really good. It's incredibly cheap, the food is incredibly good and the family is really nice. We would recommend it 100%.
