Decent hotel. Well maintained and nicely done up. Service is good and staff is very courteous. Make you feel well looked after and ensure a comfortable stay. The heritage rooms are very spacious. However they face the road and do not have sound proofing and so there are noises/horns from vehicular traffic audible even at late night / odd hours which can be disturbing - so best avoided.

One of the best stay options in Ranchi. It's ground floor rooms are more than 100 yrs old of British era. The new tower is 15-16 yrs old, rooms are clean but old styled and had a few small pests and cockroaches (only reason for reducing a star in review) . Restaurant buffet breakfast is good and wide spread

I attended a party at the Chanakya BNR Hotel and it was a pleasant experience overall. It's evident that Chanakya BNR Hotel values the convenience of its guests and has thoughtfully designed its spaces to cater to large gatherings. The ambiance at the party venue was enchanting, with a soothing theme and atmospheric lighting. The combination of elegant décor and well-chosen music created a festive atmosphere, making it a joyous celebration for everyone. However, I must admit that the food fell short of expectations. While the presentation was nice and the service was prompt, the taste didn't quite match up. Some dishes lacked the flavor and finesse one would expect at a venue of this caliber. It was disappointing, considering the other positive aspects of the event. In conclusion, Chanakya BNR Hotel excels in providing great capacity and convenient parking, making it an ideal venue for events like weddings, meetings, parties, and other small & big gatherings. The enchanting ambiance adds to the overall appeal of the hotel. Nevertheless, the food experience could use some improvement to match the high standard set by the other aspects of the party. Also this hotel is just in front of Ranchi Railway Station and thus it becomes easy for people to reach here.

Good hotel,.... govt. Liquor shop is very near...cheap. BAR is in the hotel can not affordable, charging 300/- rs for 30 ml for cheap liquor... Minimums 3000/- will u have to pay for drink there

Best part is the proximity to the Ranchi Railway Station. With less luggage one can walk it up to this place. Layout of the hotel is good. Pool side view is nice. Food was mostly delectable.

Location bang opposite Ranchi Railway station. No better hotel than this here. Good restaurant. It also has a great garden open space. Only rooms could be better.

Every thing is very good about this place. More construction is going on to increase capacity and venue. Parking need to be bettered.

The rooms and location are great yet the service is lacking the staff are not well equipped and lack industry standards as expected by a hotel claiming to be 5 stars.

Hotel with a glorious history. A very good staying place at Ranchi with heritage feeling. Nice location for holding outdoor party and celebration.

We went for a wedding ceremony and travelled by train. Hotel being close to station, It was convenient to find it. Staff took good care of each members of barat party. Food was very good. We stayed for two days and had 6-7 meals. Every meal served was tasty and there were good options available. We're dreading summer heat in June however, hotel's effective ACs made our stay surprisingly comfortable.

One of the best hotel in the city. Service is very good. Food is delicious Indian and Chinese both choice are available. You will find a beautiful lawn for your morning and evening walk. The hotel has a Lounge , Swimming Pool , Banquet and ample Parking space. Buffet breakfast has good option.

Presently one of the best hotels of Ranchi with restaurants, banquet halls and swimming pool. The approach road is congested but their is enough parking inside.

Had my tilak ceremony here. Was happy with the arrangements. Location is pretty good too and in a city like Ranchi, Twas good, to have an international brand!
