Review The Great Kabab Factory - Ranchi

If you are a kebab lover and wish to enjoy having fine dining then this is a go to restaurant. Lots of varieties, my favourite has been their Galouti kebab, it's so tender that it feels like it just melted in your mouth without even chewing.

Quality of the food is degraded but customer service was really good. All the staffs were hospitable. Enjoyed the staff service but not the food.

Excellent variety and good service. We went while the Lucknowi festival was on and the entire selection was awesome. Not least the Galouti and the tandoori chooza

We had a great dining experience here. Variety of food option to choose from pre set menu. Items are served one after the other and you can repeat It as much times you wish. Kebab, Tikka's, Tandoori are all part of the menu. Charges is around 1300rs approx but definitely worth the money. Service was quick.

The food was delicious and healthy. Clean, hygienic and COVID 19 proof environment.

As close to the original as can be expected. The flagship restaurant at Delhi/Gurgaon was one of our regular haunts, so we are happy to see this outlet keeps to the concept conscientiously. Almost all the dishes were well prepared and presented. The service was personalised and well paced. Shammi kebab and dal makhni require minor improvements and we missed the ulta tawa ki parathas.

Although not a pocket friendly kebab corner but....i can spend all my money if i get the kebabs like here anywhere. A superb fine dining speciality restaurant with amazing choices of veg as well as non veg a la cart kebabs and even kebab platters with flavourful kebabs freshly out of the tandoor. Cart de jour menus are made every day...along with regular menus.

Absolutely mouth-watering kebabs. The galouti kebab is perfectly done, melts in the mouth! Right now a buffet dinner is on at the restaurant serving a range of veg , non-veg kebabs followed by biryani, rice, different Indian breads and curries. Must try in the dessert section - saboo rasmalai, mewa barfi and the kulfi. Also the service is superb - you don't need yo get up from the table to enjoy the buffet!

Fantastic kebabs, be it the classic gaulati or the seekh kebab...the soup was exemplary...service is nice... everything is very much similar to what you get anywhere in kebab factory outlet in India...mutton was a little undercooked, which was a disappointment...overall, it is a very good experience...and if you don't have the membership, it's really slightly overpriced...<br/>But it's my favorite place to dine in Ranchi

I completely agree with this name, "The great kabab factory". Its like heaven for kabab lovers.<br/>Very decent ambiance, polite and well mannered staff. I would love to visit again and again.

Tad bit overpriced for the menu lineup but the paneer tikka and the chicken options won my heart. The mutton and fish starters left a bad aftertaste and the desserts could have been a lot better; especially the phirni which tasted bland as it was served in the middle of items that would dominate your palette. The staff were courteous and helpful with the menu and provided an amazing service during our dinner. Their signature ice cream was also impressive.<br/>

Had amazing food here yesterday evening, its completely a refreshing feeling after eating. Taste and crispyness the the food is awesome which is well garnished by ambience. Fantastic experience here

Kabab was simply not good.<br/>Minced meat does not mean kabab.<br/>I think the chef has lost his taste buds era ago.<br/>As per say other items were fine.<br/>The things that tasted the best and most standard was coke. We'll definitely they deserve applaud for serving good and cold coke.

Had visited in early 2017, but was severely disappointed with the service level, the waiters are least interested to repeat. Though the ambience was good we sat on the round table which was quite unique for a group of 6 person. The food quality was below average, but pan ice cream was good. Should learn from BBQ Nation about the service level.

Galauti is the one such speacility of this place you keep on a repeat whenever you visit it.<br/>If you are lucky enough, crispy fried prawns will make your day. Chicken tikka butter masala and dal makhni is comforting.<br/>For all nonveg lovers with a diet of whale..this place is a heaven for you.<br/>

Well this is one of the best place to have a variety of tasty kababs in Ranchi. I tried almost all the kababs here may it be veg or non veg . It is pocket friendly and i do love the place . 😋

Worst ever resturant I had visited. You will find IRCTC foods tastier than Kabab Factory. I still regret that I planned to have my anniversary dinner at Kabab Factory, Radisson blu.<br/>Variety is very few and there is nothing in Main course.<br/><br/>Highly over priced. For a litre of mineral water they charged 200/bottle + applied GST.<br/><br/>I would never recommend this place to anyone. And definately not if you wish to celebrate an occasion.<br/><br/>This place is ruining the name of Radisson as a whole.<br/><br/>Zomato should introduce negative star rating feature so that it can be assigned to these resturants. Though I had to select rating as 1, consider that as -1.

The tried and tested. The food is quite filling. So if one wants to do justice to the quantity, you've gotta go after skipping a few meals. The kababs are nice. Alcohol can burn a hole in your pocket. Food and service are good. Though certain kababs don't change in the fixed menu concept that they have.

I didn't really eat there physically but had a couple of dishes packed and flown in owing to my mums business trip. I found it hilarious that she actually signed an indemnity bond to get the food out. Apparently not all food require it but galauti kebabs as it's a special signature dish. I had ordered that and dal makhni . I remembered its taste back from my rendevous at tgkf noida. While it's hilarious signing a bond, these two very specefic items are simply delicious. Having tasted galautis in many places this is my favourite, soft and melts in your mouth. Absolutly delicious. Simply based on these two dishes id recommend the galauti n dal.

Dishes suits according to the name. Non-veg is much more better than the vegetarian food. The duty of the workers are upto the mark. Highly appreciated.

Amazing Food served by extremely efficient staff. They work with clock wise precision. <br/>The best kebabs I had in a long time. Gaulati kebabs, chicken tikka and fish all rocking. Must visit if u happen to be in Ranchi.

A great place to have an exclusive dinner with a quiet group. The kebabs were delicious and I will not pick one. The pan ice cream is also great and reminds of this fast catching up trend in all the Kabab outlets. A ambiance is awesome with a good setting. Be prepared for a bit heavy bill if you are ordering drinks or other paraphernalia apart from the set menu. The service is fast with very well behaved people - overall great experience.

I used to visit this place quite often for buffet dinner(once in a week)...initially i felt food was good...but after having visited barbeque nation in delhi i lost my interest in their buffet... but still... not a bad place....but they are not very innovative... not have much variety as compared to barbeque nation which offers delicious buffet almost at same price...

One word to describe this place: awesome! The ambience is good and the food is worth every money you spend. Its a bit heavy on the pockets so save it for the special occasions and you won't be disappointed. Pan flavoured ice cream and giloti kebab is a must try.

The best kebabs in the city, wonderful assortment served in mughlai style. However the main course is often too bland and it is all too expensive at 2600/- Rs for two. Do not miss the Gilauti Kebabs and the Pan flavoured ice cream.

Wow.  This place, as the name says, has great kebabs.  I highly recommend going there on an empty stomach and preferably exercising to make sure that you are ready for the large amount of food on offer.  All of it is quite tasty and tempting even when you are full.

Wow!!The restaurant has created some ingenuine hype.<br/>I've been to other TGKF at other locations but this is the worst I've ever experienced.<br/>The service was extremely slow & the taste of the food was also pathetic leaving one or two items.<br/>They even don't have much options in starters as well as in the main course food.Unlike other TGKF,prawn wasn't included in the buffet & one needs to order sperately.<br/>When asked for main course food,the waiter elaborated that they have only chicken biryani,an item of mutton curry & different kinds of Indian breads.So,on this note I was surprised to see that how this restaurant is fooling the customers on the name of buffet.The main course was limited to only 3 items.<br/>In the starters leaving chicken items,all other items were substandard,even after informing them about it,no one came to take care about it & they behaved as if like achieving customer satisfaction wasn't a part of their job.This was the most surprising moment for me as I waited for the chef or someone to come & take a note of our issues with the food & correct it accordingly but till the last no one bothered about that.<br/>Now,lastly I was expecting that the dessert should be some what good but that was also below average.They had very limited options on that too.The Gulab Jamun they served were actually made of 'GITS Gulab Jamun' which is available in the retail market & the ice cream was also of 'ROLLICK' brand which is a local brand of Ranchi.These things are truly unacceptable while if you're having food at a star hotel & paying a hefty amount.<br/><br/>I genuinely feel that this restaurant is surviving because it's in a small city where it has created ingenuine hype on it's brand name or had it would have been in any big or metro city,I bet this restaurant would have been closed by now.

The great kabab factory is one of the restaurants in Radisson Blu. It is quite pretty and the ambience is really nice. I sat with my friend near the glass wall so even the waterfront area was visible. It looked stunning. The lights in the TGKF are a bit dull but that compliments the place. <br/><br/>Our table had 4 little shot glasses filled with different dips. First was a curd and peanut dip, second, a tomato dip. Third one was pudina dip and the last one was tamarind. The tables were very beautifully kept.<br/><br/>TGKF basically serves only two types of buffet. One veg and the other non veg meal. Its menu is almost the same everytime with change in desserts or addition of an extra kebab. I had a non veg meal. In the beginning they served us watermelon, papaya, cucumber and buttermilk. After that, they started with the starters, i.e, kebabs. The first was Galauti kebab, my friend's favourite. They also gave a paratha that is specially eaten with that kebab. Our attender also told us the method of preparing the roll using the paratha,kebab, the different dips and onions. Second was a choosa kebab. Third, a fish kebab followed by murg malai kebab. Lastly, they served a badam ghosht. Me and my friend had several rounds of the kebabs we liked. <br/><br/>After the kebabs we came to the main course. The Main course had 2 daals. First was the garlic tadka daal and the other was dal makhani. They also served chicken curry with it. For breads, they had seven options. I wanted to try them all but my stomach lacked space. After the breads came the biryani. They served mutton biryani with raita. After the long wait finally came my favourite part of the meal, "Desserts". They had 4 dessert options; moong daal halwa, gulab jamun, balushahi and paan icecream. I tried a paan ice cream and a gulab juman.<br/> <br/>Overall the food was ok. Some of the kebabs were really good. I am not a fish person but I really liked the kebab. The winner in the kebabs would be Galauti. It was the best. The main course was also ok. I really liked the paan ice cream. It was something I had never tried before . It was outstanding! <br/><br/>TGKF's prices are very high and the food they offer is a lot far more than a person can completely eat. Hence, you actually pay more than what you eat but it all gets covered up by the great ambience and good services.<br/> <br/>Our attender was great and served us well. I also loved the guitarist who hosted us. He had a lovely voice and played amazing guitar! <br/><br/>I will recommend TGKF if you want to have a posh meal with great variety of food.<br/><br/>

We went there with a small group of friends and family. Overall some of he members in the group enjoyed the kababs but most of them were disappointed including me. Overall the ambience is ok, nothing great.. Chairs and cutlery is heavy (my god).. If I go there again, then will only eat their plain rice, dal makhani and tandoori rotis; these were awesome.

Chooza khada masala, Sounfiyani macchi tikka, Lucknowi boti kebab, Badan murg tikka, Galouti kebab were on the buffet menu. All of them were cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. Would have been perfect if there were more options given the emphasis on it being a kebab place. For main course we called for Gosht dum biryani, dal makhni, dal tadka and steamed rice. Dessert included paan ice cream, Mysore paak, Malpua-rabri and Moong Dal halwa. The food is good and so is the ambience which is dimly lit and quiet unlike other buffet places which are mostly chaotic because of people queing up for food. The service was prompt and the bartender personalised the drinks which was great. Overall, was a pleasant experience.

Food was very spicy. Nothing great. They had a set meal - most of the non veg starters were average. Service was good but really couldn't cover up for the bad food.

Quality of kebab's are strictly average with no distinct flavours. Place has a decent ambience but not really value for money. Main course served is also limited. Only silver lining is d paan ice-cream, make sure u have loads of it.

Went here for a family dinner... the ambience was pretty sophisticated .. and I really liked the blue frosty glasses... up to the mark presentation ... coming to the food .. we having the buffet .. so one after one .. various kebabs were served on my platter ... but the taste of the bhuna kebabs was just extraordinary !

The Great Kabab Factory! Name hints that, it's really Great to be at this place. It serves mouth watering buffet at your table. Each day has a new and exciting menu. The ambience is quite royal, and the service is just like it should be in a 5 star hotel. The only drawback is, it lacks variety. But still if you are a kebab lover, make your way to its door.

Visited Ranchi for the first time and stayed with Radisson itself. Haven to enter great kabab factory for a team dinner. Loved the starters but the dal makhni was just awesome. Would suggest for ppl who love non veg food and can eat a lot!

I went to TGKF for a lunch after a long hike in the outskirts of Ranchi, and I was starving by the time we reached there. I have heard so much about TGKF, but this was the first time I was visiting the place.<br/><br/>The place is given a rustic touch to it, completely Indian. It is what a general fine dining restaurant looks like. One  thing I'd like to point out is that the chairs are very heavy, at least beyond my might to lift/ drag. The waiters are also very polite, and well trained. They will recommend you the food and can explain almost everything on the menu.<br/><br/>Over to the food, what I loved the most was their signature kebab- it was a perfect balance of sweet and savory tastes. It is served with a crepe, which can be used to make a roll out of. Their dal kebab was a bit dry, rest all of them were delicious and heavenly for me. I was too stuffed with the kebabs by the time I reached main course. So I skipped the main course and jumped right onto my favorite course- desserts. The desserts were Indian too, and way too delicious. The daal halwa is worth trying, besides the kulfi. Overall, the food is totally worth it, and a must try.<br/><br/>Do try this restaurant at least once, especially if you love Indian food. It is a different kind of place for all the food lovers. <br/><br/>Overall I had great fun here.<br/>Service- 4/5<br/>Food- 4.5/5<br/>Ambiance- 3/5

As I had arrived to the restaurant my expectations were too high. Not a satisfactory service as I hoped for. Food items are also limited and not up to the mark. For vegetarians it's not a good choice to spend hefty amount for nothing. Ambiance is also ok ok.

O! The kebabs...I love it. If you are a connoisseur of non vegetarian tandoori food, go for an appetite fiesta here.<br/><br/>Every time I go, I plan to order a la carte but end up having the buffet which is just so tempting with the variety they offer.<br/><br/>Icing on the cake is live music (nearly, with the guitar guy hanging around, if they could just add it forever!) and the ambience.<br/><br/>For Ranchi, I give it 4.

The ambience is great and so is the food. What could have been better is that there should be burners attached on the tables just like the kebab factory outlets in other cities. This makes it more convenient a d quick rather than the waiters going again and again and fetching the kebabs one by one.

Been here once. The starters were really nice but the main course and deserts spoiled the fun and taste. The food was a dissapointment so was the service. The waiters were polite but the restaurant was understaffed. We had to call the waiters again and again to get served. That day might have been different as there was some rush but then again come on, anybody expects good service at Radisson. Visit this place if you are ready to spend a lot of money for great kebabs otherwise its better to go to waterfront.

Visited the place for their dinner buffet and I must admit I was impressed with their high quality kebabs. Visit the place to treat yourself to amazing kebabs, served to you nawabi style. However, the main course and desserts were not of the same standard as their kebabs, and also lacked variety, which is a huge turn off for a buffet meal. All in all, the food was good, but it is comparatively expensive for a place like Ranchi. Also, cheaper options are available nearby in Station Road with equally good quality food.
