I was there in ranchi for 2 years...even then also kavs food was at par...good food..good ambience..and over all good service with polite staff...so today I went after whole one year...and it has the same taste and aura..

Location - Few steps away from BJP Office, Harmu. Can be easily identified. Ambiance & Environment - Decent ambiance. Has a open garden and banquet hall as well for big functions. Food - Vast range of Veg and Non Veg items. We ordered Hakka Noodles, Sphagetti, and Afgani Momos, quantity and taste both were good. Service - Quick and polite.

Food preparation and taste were really good. Thanks to Chef. Atmosphere and cleanliness is very good. Washroom cleanliness at this standard can be maintained better.

One of the best restaurants of ranchi. We always visit this place on our trip to ranchi. Had ordered vegetable manchow soup which was delicious, American crispy corn again it was amazing. Soya chap in mustard sauce which was lip smacking. For kids we ordered noodles and strawberry shake. Main course we ordered navratan korma which was awesomely made in cashew base , mushroom do pyaza and Naan. Naan was a little disappointing since it wasn't baked properly and was a bit thick. But we got 70percent refund on naan. We parceled veg Manchurian which was again amazing. A good restaurant worth visiting.

This is a very nice restaurant with reasonable price. The interior is very beautiful with lots of paintings. We were 10 people n ordered 6 sabji (all veg), 4 masala kulcha, 2 masala naan, 5 butter naan( 1 naan have 3 piece), 1 sweet corn soup, 4 hot n sour soup, 1 tomato soup and 3 plates of French fries.. n the bill was around 3700.. It's good for family n friends. There's a banquet hall too for big celebrations or events too. Outside the restaurant there is parking space.

Never imagined such a rude behaviour from the staff of Kaveri, the place I have grown visiting on each and every occassion. Food quality was awesome as always but if the environment, service and people around you are not good then its a waste of time and money. Moreover the restaurant overcharged me on a mineral water which is tagged at an MRP of Rs.20/- was charged Rs. 30/- and when asked for an explanation as the same is against the government notification the waiter behaved with me in a manner that I cannot even write here. Moreover I asked for the manager but he did not even think of visiting me and trying to sort things out. No more visiting this place where the staffs are not trained and behavious of the staffs are pathetic. Service delayed . #Gone are Good old days of Kaveri #Shame

Never trust these guys for home delivery !! Rude and do not take calls too. Ordered food at 8 pm with a request for delivery by 9 pm. Was confirmed will be done. Its 9.37 pm amd no trace. Sorry figure in front of guests !! Will never order food again !!

Very poor service . Only 8 people were in the restaurant it took them half an hour to deliver the just Soup. On the top of that was served 4 different waiters. Staff are not courteous at all . No smile on the faces. Really bad experience.

Murg mussalam is the best dish which is mouth watering . my friend and family used to visit kavs specially to eat Murg mussalam.But it is bit costly then average price is not justified for other item.

The food was okay but the staff showed a lot of attitude and were extremely slow as in we waited for a starter for about 45-50 mins.<br/><br/>We were a group of 5 people and then there was a huge group of ladies (18-20) having a get together in their. The staff was 100 percent devoted in serving the larger group and upon complaining one of them stated the reason that there is a larger group so we can't give you enough attention. I have come to this place before and now I had brought my family and friends along with me to enjoy the food.<br/>Sorry to say but I feel giving two stars is also overrated. Either increase your number of waiters or kindly close the restaurant in these hours as these bunch of ladies are extremely noisy.Though whatever you do it really doesn't matter as I am for sure not coming to this place and Niether recommending anyone. I was quite embarrassed as I had invited my guests over for lunch but such kind of attitude being chucked by the management when I am paying equal share of service tax as others is really not acceptable

Never order chicken biriyani from here. They prepare sweet polao with little bit of spices & u will get chicken as a complementary. Oh & 10ml of onion raita

The food is really good and value for money.<br/>The place comes with the trust of the Kaveri brand with the addition of non veg food.<br/>I specially liked the kebabs, fish chilly and the tandoori chicken momos. This is a family place and good for group outings. They also offer 10% student's discount for some of the colleges of the city.

Kav's Harmu is trying its best to match up to the level of its parent branch kaveri. The non veg thali is good although i thought that the plate would include some more items of chicken like fish fry or chicken dry fry.<br/>The ambience is good. And the outlet is spacious. The taste and quality of food is upto the standard.

Been to Kav's couple of times and ordered for home delivery many a times.<br/><br/>Its a good option in the area and has good meat preparation. Food is very rich and tasty and you could not resist overeating.<br/><br/>Its sitting area has nice decor but most importantly its clean and hygienic.<br/><br/>Not a food to eat daily but something you need once in a while to keep your taste bud activated.<br/><br/>

I have been to Kavs to attend parties and have also hosted one but I wanted to taste the food that the didnt prepare in bulk. So I home delivered noodles and paneer chilli. The noodles were springy, tasty and looked quite healthy. The paneer chilli however was a little sweet but I think with the noodles i won't mind having it. Happy with the service speed as well as the taste . Quite satisfied !

Better than the other. Blind faith on zomato as well. Quality of food is very good. Zomato provides quick delivery as well as on time delivery.

A nice place for family who like to have average food with family. Its near to Argora so people of Ashok Nagar, Ashok Vihar and Harmu are mainly hanging out in this place. You can say an average restro with good service.

Today we have visited for dinner and had the worst food specially Dahi wala Fish and they had accepted that the taste is not up to the mark so they had it back from our plate to reprocess and came back with the same preparation and after having an objection the manager named Sagar have misbehave<br/>

Chicken lollipop came with a sauce which smelled bad and it was definitely not fresh. They gave the same sauce with momos also. Overall we did not like the taste of food. Service was kind of lazy.

The best non veg restaurant I have ever found in Ranchi.The fish tandoor and mutton items are the best and not only that all the items are delicious.Just visit the place and enjoy.

This place is more of a family restaurant and the ambience is good. The service is quite fast. <br/>Coming to the food, I would mention kebab platter which is really nice out here. If there is a word to describe my experience here its PATHETIC. We went for a family get together and were 12 folks along with me. As we asked for arranging table for outside sitting and inside it was crowded, but the manager started making foolish excuses for mosquitos and rain though they weren't there. For 12 guys they gave us just one menu to decide. Staffs are rude, if ask for water, they will slam the glass on the table. Food was average and it was on the cheaper side. They served as rasgulla in rabri when we order rasmallai as if we wont get it. I wont recommend it.

The place has an average ambience and surprisingly a good crowd considering a Tuesday.<br/><br/>We ordered Hot & Sour soup which honestly was a sour broth of green chillies and veggies ( 2/5).<br/>In the main course we ordered Masala Kulcha ( veggie filling) which was the only item worth appreciating, cooked with fresh dough, filled with veggies and topped with butter definitely a (4/5) we accompanied the same with so called chefs speciality of the place Paneer Chatpata ( Yellow gravy and capsicum - definitely no Chatpata element to it) (2.5/5)<br/><br/>All in all avg food with avg ambience and packaged water still charged at INR 30 ( in spite of complaints from several guests ) as shared by their staff.<br/><br/>Unless an emergency can be avoided<br/><br/>

Kav's is a new branch of Kaveri located in harmu. It serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. I went there for lunch with my friends.<br/><br/>The ambience was pretty nice and gave a nice vibe. The attenders were very cordial and suggested some really good dishes. The prices were economical and each penny was worth the quality we received. The only problem was that they took a lot of time to serve the food. <br/><br/>We ordered chicken kebab platter, chicken tikka lababdaar, tandoori roti, chicken burger, cold coffee, sweet lime soda and rose sikanji. <br/><br/>The platter was amazing. It had three different kinds of chicken and all of them were well cooked with right amount of flavours. <br/><br/>The sweet lime soda and rose sikanji were very refreshing. I didn't like the cold coffee as it was too sweet. <br/><br/>The chicken lababdaar's gravy was super rich and the chicken was very soft. It had perfect amount of spices which made it taste even better. <br/><br/>The chicken burger was freshly made and tasted nice. There was an Indian tint in the burger's filling which made the taste different from the usual burgers. <br/><br/>Overall,<br/>Food- 3.5/5<br/>Ambience- 3/5<br/>Service- 2.5/5<br/>Value for money- 3/5<br/>

It's a branch of Kaveri and well it carries its reputation with it . Well this serves non-veg too . The food is delicious and the place is very comforting . They do take time to serve food but it's worth the wait .

I've been here a number of times. The very last time I was here, I ordered chicken Reshmi kebab, fish tandoori and chicken tikka lababdar. Food was good, but the service pathetic. The air conditioner wasn't working properly and the waiters didn't care when we asked to shift to a different table, mentioning ALL the tables were booked/ reserved. After some time, we asked for manager's intervention, got another table, which was relatively better. By that time, they already had the kebabs ready, cold as hell. Not very sure if I'll ever come here ever. <br/>

Quantity is less and Taste is ok. They cook here in Mustard oil which tastes really shitty. Even the Monchow Soup was cooled in Mustard Oil. Hotel is quiet spacious and having good ambience. Some major improvements are require in terms of taste which can actually make it one of the best hotels in Ranchi.

It seems Kaveri is planning to penetrate into more and more areas of Ranchi, first Main Road, then Circular Road and now Harmu Road. <br/>Well, the restaurant is very easy to locate, near Dhoni's residance. Food served is no doubt very good and yes they serve NON VEG.<br/>We ordered Chicken Reshmi Tikka, Paneer Malai Tikka and Chicken Kebab. Everything was nice, even the dessert was lovely.<br/><br/>Interiors are beautifull managed, the only fault which I noticed was the service is bit slow even though the restaurant was almost empty, and we had to shout loud to call someone (as we were sitting on the last table).

Its no doubt that the restaurant has been beautifully designed. One of the good place to visit with the family and friends. The brand name kaveri sets up a certain bench mark for the customers so we expect a lot but the kavs yet don't match that level. (Updated review. Based on recent visit.)<br/><br/>It's good to see the place has improved a lot. The service is pretty good at this place. The waiters are very attending to our needs. The food is amazing as always. I love the tandoori items from this place because they are lip-smacking. I've never had such tasty tandoori food at any other place in Ranchi. <br/>This is a beautifully lit place with nice ambience.
