This is one of the oldest sweets shop in ranchi you will find here various types of food items like north Indian food south Indian food chinies food at reasonable price and also variety of sweets . There is plenty of seating available combining ground and first floor. Food items :- taste of the food items you will find good but quality of the food item need to be improved because hygiene is not maintained by the cook. Service :- services are not up-to-mark it need to be improved in all respects like serving staff behavior. I tried chole bhatoore ganga jamuna chat samosa chat fruit chat which were good in taste. litti that was really good at cheaper price In my opinion Overall this place is good for beat your hunger

This is one of the legendary places you can visit to have your food because, it was started just a year after independence and it's still running. The owners now have a chain of restaurants, hotels, etc across the city and they are humble AF. Saying this because I got a chance to interact with one of the owners sitting at the counter. Apart from sweets you get a variety of food and other options as well. There is plenty of seating available combining ground and first floor. Food here is really good in terms of quality and taste. ✨ Service is fairly fast even when most tables are full. ✨ I tried chole bhatoore which were good in taste.✨ Ghee litti that was really fulfilling and filled with flavours.✨ Also had sweets like imarti and shree both were great in quality.✨ Overall it is a place where you should visit once if you are nearby.💖

Kachori Sabji is good for North Indian or delhi side peoples actually it’s a mixture of puri and bhatura , but you must taste this it was different from normal kachori , it’s a awesome place for breakfast , you can also try South Indian there

Today I eat Puri kachori in the Punjab sweet house and I had been served with the chola , achar, and potato sabji and I loved the delicious item, and it is one of my favourite dishes in the Punjab sweet house. So please visit and taste the varieties of cuisine.

I found cockroach on my masala dosa..... And I informed the authority and still no serious reaction from them.......... Their reaction was like "kuchh naya bata... Ye to roj ki baat hai".���������

Baki sab thik hai par kripya dosa akhbar (newspaper) mei na lapet ke bheje. Butter paper ya koi aur food grade paper istemal kare.

The samosa chat was foul smelling like hell and even my dog refused to eat. How can they send stale foods. Chole bhature was tasteless. And look at the packaging also

Ambience:- It was good and spacious and have many seating areas.<br/><br/>What I had :- gulab jamun, dahi bhalle and dahi papdi chat.<br/><br/>Likes:- what I liked the most was dahi papdi chat. All the flavours of dahi, mithi chutney, masalas, and papdi was complementing each other. Gulab jamun was served hot which I liked the most and also the size of the gulab jamun was quite good.<br/><br/>Dislikes:- I didn't liked the dahi bhalle as it was way too sweet and I couldn't finish it at all due to sweetness. But the size was really good.<br/><br/>Final thoughts:- it was nice and proportions were really good. I would definitely like to go their again but this time I would like to try their chole bhature and other dishes.

Ordered samosa was tasteless, rebaked in oven n was poorly baked, not at per punjab sweets standard, highly disappointed. Just think twice to order samosa as they sell leftout oven baked samosa.

I don't understand the hype about this place. I had ordered gulab jamun, dahi wada and dahi chat. But I only liked the dahi chat and rest two were too sweet to eat.

I ordered today litti chokha & Sohan Halwa through ZOMATO. Litti chokha was Okay except that lot of green chillies were mixed . Sohan halwa was not a halwa from any angle and it was rather as solid as a stone.

Had rushed in for a quick breakfast bite ! Amazing food. Was able to relish chhole bathure, poori sabzi, samosas and jalebi! Everything was delicious. Must visit and try it out!

Punjab Sweet House is a must visit if you’re in Ranchi. From lip smacking chaats to Indian sweets, this place offers all. This was my first worst experience with Punjab Sweets. I visited Punjab Sweets with my family at the evening of Dusshera. No one was there to serve/to take order, waited for more than 20 minutes. Lastly, we left the restaurant and also informed the concern. I remember my childhood, when I often visit Punjab Sweets along with my grandfather to have kachori, samosa and sweets.

I ordered Chana Bhatura right now and it was full of dust particles coming in every bite so finally all 3 plates of our order went into the dustbin...

Pathetic Service. Order through Zomato (Punjab Sweet House) they didn&#039;t deliver and when I call rider they told bluntly it can&#039;t be deliver. Totally waste to order online. Food is average nothing exemplary to brag about. Staff over here are brash and illiterate. They carry an attitude as if they run this world. Atleast 2, 3 of em are definitely rude. Im not sure if i will visit it again. There are lots of other places to quench your crave for south indian food.

I fondly remember visiting this place when I was a child and loving the food here. However a recent visit to this place did not fare well for those fond remembrances. The food was, quite frankly, atrocious. The sweets were all right. The place is so chaotic and hygiene is something that is not cared for at all here. Would I go there again? Honestly, no. Would I recommend this place to someone ? Again, no. But if you’re a millennial like me, who spent your childhood in Ranchi, you definitely would want to visit it at leat once just for a walk down the memory line.

Tried calling the hotel many a times after wrong delivry but my cal was not recieved.. Worst dosa i have ever had in my entire life. The chutney was made of anything but coconut and the sambhar tasted so sour that i and my wife left the whole sambhar. If this is what is called Dosa, i am never eating it again.
