Review Moti Mahal Delux Tandoori Trail - Ranchi

Tried non-veg platter. Portion size was generous and was well cooked. Service was prompt which was plus. Overall decent option if are looking for non vegetarian food at Ranchi.

Perfect authentic cuisines, delicious kebabs, tried pahadi kebab and it's finominal. The ambience is perfecty delight and the experience of SHAHIness was there. The service was prompt and attentive with great gesture of staffs. I'm slightly disappointed with the Chicken dum biryani though, it wasn't the better one, too salty and oily, even the rice wasn't cooked properly.

Good quality food. Near to Goosenar College in Ranchi. Generally less diners at lunch time. Good service and tasty food.

The foos is as always excellent. The service is also quite good, the waiters are very well behaved and are good at suggesting items when inquired. We had the Chicken Kali Mirch Soup and Hot & Sour Soup, very well cooked and ample in quantity. We also had the Tandoori Mix Platter which contained a verity lf Chicken Mutton & Fish items and the taste was up there with the best, no complaints in the food department what so ever. We tried the Stuffed Chicken Tangdi Kebab as well and it was also very well cooked and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend trying all these items.

It is the best and the most porsh dine in option 💛. An oldest one of its kind, I love and cherish the kebab platter every time I visit there. It’s beautiful and tasty, a treat to the eyes and a real food for the soul! The waiters were good and the ambience has a very welcoming nature. A family dining, good service, reasonable prices, great taste!! The best part is about the rose water tissue given at the start of meal for clean drying your hands. The fennel and jaggery at the end of the course is a game changer. I love it. Must try - Chicken soup and afghani chicken (main course) Moti Mahal is a franchise and every branch is really good 💛💛

Food is delicious, especially the kebab. One rating less because certain items on menu were unavailable. They maintain hygiene very well: masks worn by all staff, sanitization and temperature checking at the entrance, sanitization of the tables after service at each table is completed. Ambience and staff behaviour is good. Washrooms are very clean.

Dal makhani is still the best there, Of course they founded it. Ambiance ✅ Family Restaurant ✅ Service ✅ We talked about paneer chilli, that it's not good they just changed it.

I have ordered Pallu Kebab, Pahadi Kebab and Mushroom Salt and peeper in starter.. The pallu kebab and Pahadi Kebab were excellent in taste.. The chicken pieces were perfectly cooked n properly coated with masalas n highly recommended for chicken lovers.. Mushroom salt n peeper had average taste.. In main course I have ordered Mutton Raj Darbari and Tandoori roti... The mutton pieces were tender n super delicious.. The gravy had sesame seeds which gave a different taste to the curry.. Coming to dessert I tasted Shahi tukda and Cold coffee with Icecream.. The Shahi tukda was really Shahi in taste n highly recommended for sweet lovers.. Cold coffee with icecream was obviously very good.. The staffs were well mannered n well behaved.. Service was very good n fast.. Over all 5 star for food, ambiance n service.. You can get menu by scanning QR code due to Covid 19 pandemic.

They were able to accommodate us even though the place was really busy, coming to food in starters Stuffed Tangdi Kebab was delicious, Kolkata Style Chicken Biryani was sumptuous and Veg Diwani Handi with Naan was a good Pair, for Dessert we got some jugalbandi (Gulab jamun with Ice cream) which was okay. All over Food Service Time can be improved, but the Ambience was well Maintained.

I am visiting from USA and went to the restaurant ;last night with some guest. The Food was very good and the service was good also. Unfortunately when I try to pay with my Visa (Bank of America) credit card then they were unable to process my credit card. We don't carry cash so it was an embarrassing situation. I have used other places my credit card without any problem. Looks like the restaurant never upgrade their machine and the waiter not bring the other equipment to solve the issue. So I will request all my friends who comes from US to avoid your restaurant so you don't have to face this situation.

I am the huge fan of moti mahal. I had tasted all the chicken main course.staffs are very polite.They usually suggest the good dishes.

Not great food! Tandoori Chicken, the best seller was cold and seemed prepared 3/4 hours before . Lababdar was also so, so. if food ordered at 2 PM, it should be prepared recent and not too early. Moti Mahal failed me twice in a row. I would definitely not recommend this for vegans. Special veg biryani , which was way below the mark . If u love veg biryani go for kaveri's hyderabadi biryani instead.

This place is just awesome. I recommend to try Chicken pahari , chicken banzara and mutton rajdarbari with butter roti. The ambiance is just awesome. At first they will give compressed tissue. Which grows after soaking it In water.<br/>They also make awesome tutifruity and phirni.<br/>The sizzler is not exactly what we know but it is a mixed platter different non-veg item's if you want you can order the veg one also because it is also delicious 🙂🙂

Best place for dinner, it's very friendly restaurant and we enjoyed a lot, Chelo Kebab is very authantic and teasty. Biryani is too good to have with meal. Over all experience was excellent, good hospitality and staff behaviour.

It is really disappointing when you are cheating people. I have had biryani from Moto Mahal but not through zomato.. it was excellent but today I received a biryani which has no flavour of biryani and is prepared in some green chutney. Chicken piece is pathetic. Seems a precooked chicken was placed in it. If it's bcoz of the discount, it's better u don't give any. It cost me around 300 bucks and all gone waste. I will never order or recomend to any one. Management of moti Mahal look into this . It brings down your reputation. I know one of the owners, will let them know too.

Best and authentic hyderabadi dum murg biryani of Ranchi. Chicken tandoori was exquisite. Chicken angaara with butter roti is a combination made in heaven and a must try for non veg lovers.

Recently ordered food after a long time from this reataurant. It has surely failed to be what it was initially. We ordered Mushroom Do pyaza , Jeera pulav amd Tandoori Roti. After tasting rhe dishes we felt. Mushroom was stale. Rice was dull amd so was the rotis. Really disappointed . Currrent Zomato ratings not reflwcting reality

The food is not at all what we expected.. The mocktails were decent. For starters, we ordered Corn Cheese Kebab, Paneer Kali Mirch Tikka and Chicken Spring roll.<br/>There was no sign of cheese in corn cheese kebab, Paneer Kali mirch tikka looked more like Shahi Paneer and was tasteless to the core and Chicken Spring Roll was worse than roadside stalls..<br/>Coming to the main course, it was much worse than the starters. We ordered Chicken Lababdar, Paneer Lababdar and Butter Nan. Please do not order these dishes.. They are horrible.. I repeat, "THEY ARE HORRIBLE". Murky and elegant ambience. Authentic chicken recipes, finely prepared. I've visited this place quite a few times, never been disappointed. The only drawback would be the scanty parking spot. Moti mahal is like the classic place for tandoor dishes and scrumptious chicken items. Not to mention, this is the place that invented butter chicken. Love the butter chicken from Moti Mahal and will always keep returning to the place for it.

Food quantity and quality compared to the price was bad. Serving of Shola Shabnam over the papad was bad and tasted horrible . Crispy baby corn was not cooked properly and nan was too thin and had no taste.

Terrible taste! None of the items that i ordered was even average leave about meeting my expectations. With the kind of name and build up they have, it was a complete disappointment. For every gravy item they charged 295. I had ordered panner tikka masala. They did not even grill the paneer and it was raw in some random gravy. Mushroom dopyazaa did not disappoint her partner either. I must say for the kind of food they delivered, they do not deserve to be paid at all. Not to mention special chicken biryani. I think they need to taste it themselves before even proclaiming of having a biryani item in their menu. Would have rated 0 stars in case the Zomato app allowed to do so.

Biryani was not Good at all

Ordered Murg Musallam thru Zomato on 15th Oct. It was just ok type. Nothing special. Had better expectations.<br/>But one thing which disappointed us was that the raw onions (dipped in vinegar) were stale and the green chutney was artificially colored. We did not expect this from an iconic eatery of Moti Mahal repute.

Excellent place. The food quality and quantity is good. The ambience is nice but little bit dark. The service of the restaurant is good but little slow. And also staffs are friendly.

No taste....no knowledge of preparing food....only name...every dish has almost same taste...i can't understand why so famous name has a low grade taste.....please do something to raise your taste and to give a delicious food to ranchi

I've tried almost everything from their non veg menu .. mostly home delivery due to it's proximity to the place where I was staying in Ranchi;the food is great .. typical Moti Mahal (although few notches below the Delhi restaurant). I would go with 3.5/5 instead of 4 because of a few cons: a bit overpriced and it's notorious for it's delay in bringing your order to the table. Perhaps additional staff in the kitchen could help.

Go for Dal makhani and 🐔 Chicken Kadhai they are best available here . They serve very well but they took a little extra time for bringing Rotis 😂😂✌️✌️ .

The ambience was pretty good and the staffs were also nice but the food was not as good as I expected . I ordered for a chicken salmi kabab which didn't even tasted like chicken . The chicken dum Biryani was good and the chicken butter masala was okay.

This is probably my the best go to place in Ranchi, not crowded, food tastes good, a little expensive considering the other places in Ranchi but then you probably won't get the taste they offer, I don't mean to oversell it, their food is good, not amazeballs good, but good. Out of the 5 times I've been there I haven't been dissatisfied with anything, the service, comfort, music, ambience, all good.

Quantity was extremely bad. On my visit to Ranchi I had got the food delivered to my place. The delivery boy without returning the change, rudely left. Anyways the prices are steep. This was an added blow. Wont recommend it to anyone. :(

I will rate this resturant as 1.5. Very slow service.Overpriced as per as their service.Ordered garglic prawn they served haryali prawn ,again we ordered tanduri chicken ,but here they had given very small pieces in the form os sizzlers. We had ordered at 8:45 but still its 9:45 pm they had not delivered main course.

One of the best non veg restaurant in the town. The decor and the ambience speaks itself about the theme and the cuisine. Their specialty in tandoor's are well known. What we tried was galauti kebab and chicken chengezi and truly it was finger licking good. The staff are very friendly and know the cuisine well, so when in doubt you may ask for their suggestion and combination.
