Review Prana Lounge - Ranchi

An open-roof top restaurant that serves amazing food and beverages. The dining experience was overall good and the service was professional. You will find wide variety of veg and non vegetarian food items in their menu. Keep in mind while ordering desserts do ask them if it contains egg or not. The restaurant must improve a little bit on their lighting.

Prana Lounge was all about service. Me and my family visited this place in December and avoided the loud and cold roof top. People serving the inside area were always alert and attentive. Place was clean and well decorated however, they can still do something clever with lighting. Food was alright. Parking as everywhere else is challenging. Would recommend to visit if one is in the area.

The place is spread on two floors. The 1st floor serves a restaurant vibe with a beautiful ambience. Perfect set up for family to have a meal together or a friends get together. The top floor has a open air seating which gives great vibe for people looking to chill. Taste of food was good with staffs being warm n polite in their service.

This roof top pub is an amazing place to hangout. I have been here several times but the evenings here are extra nice especially during sun down. I would recommend trying their cocktails and kebabs

Delightful experience with Prana lounge.I came here with my family .Restaurant is at 6th floor next to vishal mega mart building. This Restaurant has 2 floors,one is in the 6th floor where there is luxuriant decor and the other is in the terrace .they have a bit expensive yet wide range of menu to select upon like Lebanese,Chinese, Mexican, continental,Indian cuisine to serve you the best in town,As I love Indian food, so ordered butter Naan,butter roti,chicken tikka lehsuni , kassa hua murg and fresh lime soda.I can rate there food as 4/5.overal it's a great experience. The ambience is very welcoming and charming .staff are extremely knowledgeable and make good recommendation. Food is great and if you think of doing celebration then this Restaurant would be the first choice as it never disappoints you.

It was really very amazing experience. The vibe was super chill and classy. The service very quick and the food was on point. Literally everything was perfect. They really made the night. Special shoutout to the chef who also provided us complimentary dessert 😌. I will surely go to have a fine dine experience again

Situated in Harmu road, this is a beautifully decorated place. The staff is super courteous and food is amazing. I ordered Chicken shawarma and veg white sauce pasta and it was delicious. The quantity and quality is great and loved every bit of it. The restaurant is on 2 floors, an AC one and a roof top one. The chairs and tables are huge, the decors are great. Totally recommend this place.

A very cosy place. Not a typical family dine-in. Would be loved by Teenagers and new generation people. Taste is very nice. Yellow lights, couch for waiting, small chandelier hanging from ceiling, wooden chairs and colourful walls gives it a very unique look. Perfect for insta pics. There is also a terrace sitting available if u like open dining. There is one pain point, there is limited parking space so, u need to find a place to park. Definitely a nice place to try out!

A nice upscale restaurant, as per city's standards, offering good food and drinks. Service can be a bit of disappointment at times but the overall experience, especially the ambience, will usually be great. The rooftop area is great for families as well as groups. Must visit atleast once, not many such places exists in the city as of now.

I really liked the ambience and music here. Also the seating area is quite good over here. Food is delicious. I tried Indian food as well as paneer tikka for starters and they tasted really good.

The ambience is acceptable, however the food we ordered ( veg platter) was the most horrible platter i have ever had . Dahi k kabab were pathetic and same about the corn cutlets. Its absolute waste of money at Prana <br/>Totally disappointed

Apart from food this restaurant is the most beautiful than any other restaurants of ranchi. I'll give 110/100 to it's ambience specially it's rooftop... But starter foods are not upto the mark... They should have to enhance taste of there starters... But for this place one time visit is must

I really like going to this restaurant whenever I travel back to Home. The ambience and the food both are really good. You should try there Rajasthani Murgh Banjara , Tandoori Prawns and Chocco Brownie.

I went with 3 of my friends. First of all we were like lost as there was no one to entertain us. Then we asked one of the guys to give us a table. They told table will be available after half an hour and moved away. We waited and asked after 40 minutes. The guy told it has been only 20 minutes. There were many seats left idle. Finally we left but these guys were pathetic like no one else.

This place is amazing; brilliant decor, superb rooftop and delicious food.<br/>We ordered<br/>1. Starter: Tangri kebab, Tandoori chicken dilli style, Drums of Heaven and Paneer Tikka.<br/>2. Drinks: Blueberry Margarita, Beer, Shots and soda lime.<br/>3. Main Course: Mutton Rogan Josh, Rice, Mushroom Do pyaza, Veg Kulcha and Butter Naan.<br/>Total amount Rs 5000/-<br/>Foods were delicious except drums of heaven which I think was sweet.<br/>Rooftop ambience is also refreshing.<br/>Overall a must go place in Ranchi.

First when we entered the restaurant they told that you can't smoke on table, we have a. Seperate place to smoke, once we went to smoke, the manager came and asked to stop as they don't have a smoking area, this restaurant is a real ass kissers, they have this type of facilities to specail customers only. Excise offers were drinking infront of us, tgey were busy pleasing them, No value for customers. Visit this place if you don't have self respect. Management is pussy, give pathetic excuses but can't backup there words. There are better place than this, AVOID PRANA for a better experience.

The best roof top place in town. I was very lucky on my first visit. The same day they started offering booze. It has a great sitting capacity. So you can visit this place with your all of the friend. They offer hookah as well which feels great when you are on roof. The place is very calm and Serene. Food and the service are very great. However, our misgivings proved to be unfounded.<br/>Prana did live up to its popularity - the cocktails used authentic liquors in the right proportions (we had one of the trickiest - Long Island Ice Tea). Food was well prepared with generous portions.<br/>The ambience was cheerful and welcoming. The serving team was knowledgeable and attentive. we were here to celebrate our baby birth. Great place and ambience and obviously foods. In ranchi this is the best I believe. I never got this ambience in ranchi till now. You can also view some of the great creation on the walls. everything was great however Chicken Biryani was the best actually. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant with a lot of excitement and enthusiasm as it is one of the highly rated restaurant in our area. However, the place offered nothing but disappointment, one after another. Let me clarify that my 1 star rating is despite the food being really tasty.<br/>The ever ending list of disappointments are :<br/><br/>1. I was visiting the place with my elderly in-laws and therefore made prior reservation, however, we were provided with uncomfortable temporary seating after 10 min wait time and were given new seating post 45mins of repeated requests<br/><br/>2. The service was so lukewarm that we spent a total of almost 3hrs to get all the food that we ordered.<br/><br/>3. The utter lack and inability of staff made us question our decision of visiting the place. The serving staff had no idea what he was giving us and then missed one of our starters veg. Galauti kebab, despite taking a good 1.5 hrs of serving time.<br/><br/>4. No one was there to even serve water. The new table that we shifted to had leftover food and fallen pieces still on the table when the waiter started serving our plate. We asked him to atleast clear the table before serving so he picked all the plates, stacked them on each other and started cleaning the table with dirty cloth. He then served the same plates where the leftover food was stuck . It really killed our appetite.<br/><br/>5. Veg Galauti was not served but was charged in the bill, when we pointed out to the waiter, he went inside and we waited for 20 more minutes till he came back saying "the serving waiter says he served the Galauti". I then asked to speak to the serving waiter and I asked him to list out the items he served, he had no idea which item was fish, which item was chicken and after a 5 minute struggle, he realised that the "ball shaped thing" was mushroom dish and not Gulati. Bantering over the bill was really embarrassing.<br/><br/>6. Finally, my in-laws were very tired and it was past 11pm, let me tell you that we arrived at 8.30pm so this dinner was as long as a hindi movie. We asked my in-laws to leave in the car while we waited till the waiter arrived with right bill. Finally around 11.20-25pm, we got the revised bill and could go back home with horrible experience.<br/><br/>7. Management is really bad, food is good but not exceptional that one needs to put themselves through such a bad experience.<br/><br/>8. Finally, we had tons of left overs which we asked to be packed. We never received the parcel and with the bill settlement confusion and never ending wait, we remembered once we reached home that the waiter never gave us the parcel.<br/><br/>9. All in all, never visiting the place again

Very good place for chilling out. Food is good and and since the quantity is amazing it's best if you go in a group of atleast 4. Non veg items are amazing and I would personally recommend it. This place is a definite visit for enjoying an evening filled with light rain shower and laughter of your friends.

The seating and the lighting is quite nice here though I found it a little compact. The music here is really great. Food was upto the mark, but I didn't find anything extraordinary.

The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the special bar drinks also the ambience of both the indoor seating as well as the rooftop is top notch.One of the best rooftops of Ranchi.

Prana is my go-to place in Ranchi. It is perfect. Food, delicious. Alcohol, available. Rooftop seating, check. Music + air coolers on the rooftop + everything white, check. The dishes that I would recommend as per my personal preferences are white sauce pasta and Afghani chicken tikka. The food is savoury in general. There is indoor seating facility for a fine dine experience too. It is a beautiful place with lovely food and I don't find anything wrong about this place. The bar is also on the roof,from where one can get a splendid view of the city. The staff is very friendly. And they play good music.

I had heard a lot about Prana lounge and it stays true to what's said! It's one of the most comfortable and happening lounges in Ranchi that makes you feel safe and good. The roof top seats are cozy and nice. However, would recommend booking as that part is always crowded.<br/><br/>There is another floor beneath the rooftop that has marvellous decor and posh Ambience. I love dining there. Great ambience I feel one of the best in the city, the staff was certious, Food is quite good. Chicken Alfredo pasta is a must try, it's a rooftop restaurant and they serve alcohol with amazing snacks.. Just perfect👌

So so ! Music is good at the roof top. Ambience is great. Food is average. The restaurant is over priced. Moreover when crowd is at it's peak there is an issue with the car parking. Overall it's worth a visit.

I want to give this place a good review but the behavior of the Manager made me and my friends hugely upset. We complained about a particular dish that had too much oil and was absolutely tasteless. I didn't mind it that much and we just told the waiter that this particular dish is not good. It was an honest review for the chef. We didn't want anything else. But then the waiter called the manager (or deputy manager coz we talked to another manager afterwards) who told us that the oil was perfect and that is how the dish was made. One of my friends is a chef himself and he took the case of this manager. Anyway it was a friends birthday party and the whole incident ruined the mood.

Good points: Polite staff good service great location nice food pleasant ambience. Bad point: only one washroom common for both male and female.

Everything about this place is premium. Be it the ambience, food or the pricing.<br/>Apart from being a little expensive, the food is really good. The plating style and the quality of the dishes is fine dining level. The ambience is really classy and in absolute sync with the food and the overall vibe of the place.

Prana is possibly the best fine dining in Ranchi. From what I have noticed, it has one of the best and comprehensive menus so far in the city, with items that you will not get anywhere else. I hear people say that it's too pricy and true, it is, but the quantity they serve for the price is so much, it actually makes up for it.<br/><br/>Ambience wise, this is my favourite in Ranchi, taking into account both the rooftop and the indoor restaurant. They play soulful music at the restaurant and the lights are dim, yet appealing.<br/><br/>This review is for the following items:<br/><br/>1. Chicken malai kebab<br/>2. Bolognese Lasagna<br/>3. Kit-kat shake<br/><br/>The kebabs were soft, nicely cooked, and full of cream. Definitely one of the best in the city.<br/>Bolognese lasagne is a type of lasagne with minced chicken inside. I found this great, but I think it was a tad bit extra salty. I enjoyed the kit kat shake. It was just as it should be, both quantity and quality wise.<br/><br/>One thing worth mentioning is that the presentation of dishes is top notch.<br/><br/>Great experience!

Food was amazing.... We ordered Paneer Lababdar.... It was grt in taste.... And Kashmiri kulcha was also nice.... And vanilla shake was also too good.... Staff was also supportive.... A grt place to go with frnds and family..... I loved this place

From food to ambience, everything is exotic and exquisite. Service is exemplary and the entire aura of the place is lovely. One gets a great deal of different cuisines in the menu. The pizza and lebanese cuisine are few of the must tries.

This place has a great ambience and good food. People might find the price to be on higher side as compared to the other places around Ranchi however it is totally worth it. Surprisingly I found a perfect lazange for the first time in Ranchi. In general too the food is good and a nice place to hang out with family and friends.

The food at Prana is good. Hummus is the best dish I have tasted and the chicken shish Taouk is also very tasty. Ambience is great for people!

This place has an amazing ambiance specially the rooftop. I am new to Ranchi and I was looking for a place where I can get metro experience. I am glad I choose to visit this place. If u want to visit wait family you can opt non rooftop. Both places have there own charm. Music is also great but they keep repeating few tracks again and again which tend to get boring after a while. Coming to food i was not satisfied with the taste. I ordered drink and starter I would like to mention cheese balls specially that’s very day and this was different type of preparation all together . I have never had cheeseball as such. I would say this is a must place to visit in Ranchi if u want to have some different experience. Keep it up guys !! Do work on those small loop holes.

Its a great place for people of every generation as they have got one grand restro in 6th floor with fine dining and one lounge on 7th floor with loud music and open terrace. You can order drinks as well as watch sports during season. I would suggest to go for terrace when you are with friends and can opt for restro when you are with family

Absolutely LOVED this place!<br/>It had been long pending on our list of places to visit in Ranchi.<br/>So, on our anniversary we made a beeline to Prana. It is located on the top floor of an unassuming building.<br/>We had the option of fine dining and open air dining. Both places looked heavenly. We chose the open air dining. I had read that the service was usually slow but we had no such issues.<br/>We started with a classic Caesar salad and a red chilli prawn.<br/>The salad was freshly made and tasted beautiful. On the other hand the prawn was mind-blowing. We went with the Mediterranean style. There were six piece juicy prawn in a spicy, sour sauce. Each bite brought layers of flavours! The only thing was we got only five pieces of prawns for almost 600 rs. A tad costly but worth it.<br/>My favourite dish of the day turned out to be a simple aglio olio spaghetti pasta with sausages. I have never had such fresh and melt in the mouth sausage before. Loved it!<br/>The main course was roast chicken which was also equally good.<br/>We finished the meal with key lime pie and ice cream. I didn't enjoy the pie much but the ice cream was freshly made. It wasn't just scooped off some pre made box.<br/>Tasted glorious.<br/>Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal!

The ambience is perfect, cool place to hang out! Try out the Chicken Sticks... Prices are somewhat reasonable! The only problem you’ll face is that they don’t have much options in beer, good place if someone who is wondering where to go on a date in Ranchi!! I visited Prana just few days after Dusshera with family heard from my friends its nice place to have dinner it's located near Vishal Mega mart near ratu Road chowk top floor. They serve dinner as well they open roof lounge for drinks and dinner. If you are visiting with family I will suggest you guys to visit one with dinning which is just one floor below the roof top.<br/>Coming to the experience ambience is very well and pleasant with low lighting but it's good<br/>AMBIENCE - 4/5<br/>Service is the things they lack basically the service is slow as the crowd was less I was expecting bit fast service and once we had our dinner they didn't gave us Sauf thing at the end not us other around we were also complaining about that. My friend and I decided to visit this place on my recent trip to Ranchi. Was greatly impressed by the decor as soon as I entered the place. They have an indoor seating area on the 6th floor and an outdoor seating area on the 7th floor. <br/>I ordered Chicken Fajitas and my friend being a vegetarian ordered the Cottage Cheese Steak. The Fajita was average. I have tasted better ones before. The Cottage Cheese Steak was great and would recommend that.<br/>We then ordered a Cosmopolitan and a Screw Driver both of which were good.<br/>The prices are towards the steeper side. Although any of the shortcomings are compensated by the view of the city that this place provides. Total 35/40 which is on the higher end.<br/>I have visited this place thrice, as it's right in my neighborhood. We had ordered soup, veg platter, palak corn and naan the last time we went and was not disappointed by the food. You can order blindly here. Rest assured it will be good. The pricing is a completely different story. It's understandable that it's a fine dine, but that brings down it's value for money. Everything else is perfect. Indian dishes are fewer in number than other competing restaurants.

One of the most trending places amongst youngsters in Ranchi. The rooftop lounge is posh and well maintained. Although might be a little harsh on the pocket, you can enjoy good meals and drinks in here. Don't forget the complimentary chef's hat 😉

This place is very good for family as well as for hangouts coming to the main course plz do not order malai kofta this is jst worse and amritsari kulcha too bcz they jst garnished this woth some crushed cherries,choclate shake,veg fried rice, corn chilli, paneer lababdar,naan are good

Let me start off by saying that the food here has been good since the beginning and it hasn’t disappointed even still. The only thing that lets this place down currently is its service. If only the service improves with time like it was before will this place deserve a 5 star experience in my view.

The place is so good..and the most important feature of this place is Rooftop..which has live music also.. Rooftop is not so recommended for family..Else it is overall nice..<br/>Food Quality is good.. Ambience is just perfect..<br/>Overall best place to spend some quality time with friends..Must visit for a once with buddies..Family can also come for Restaurant on the lower floor.<br/>Staff is so humble and well trained with their work.

One of the top places for dining out. The roof top is the place you would love the most about Prana. The ambience is perfect with a spectacular view of the city. We only had non veg food and it was yummy . The hospitality was also good. We did have a wonderful evening at Prana.

After an year I went to this place but was highly disappointed by the food.<br/>I ordered Hong Kong Chilli Paneer which had a very thick outside crust and was hard to chew.<br/>I also ordered warm Choco brownie in which the brownie was old and had a foul smell.<br/>The napkins were also not washed and had a very foul smell.<br/>Didn’t expected this kind of food over here.

Chair height not appropriate.. Chocolate Brownie with ice cream was ordered, brownie not at all hot. Service not good.Every time waiter has to be called for serving water.

One word: luxurious!! Perfect for a date or for family meal or for friends hangout. You get a lounge upstairs which do serves cocktail and downstairs its classic, beautiful and you get peaceful ambience. Yes pocket pinch is little high but you do get a nice quantity on your plate and amazing flavours for your taste buds. Well it is more for continental food. Shwarma roll was just so amzing cant get over it and their special KitKat shake ! They serve in a huge big glass that can may make you full. The taste was yum and pan shots are complimentary from their side. This whole place is wow from food to ambience and hospitality. This place has personally impressed me a lot. A place for one of the finest service for sure......I took my parents for their 25th marriage anniversary celebration and i received a great help for arrangements there which was overwhelming. Talking about the food...I ordered lehsuni chicken kebab , fish fingers, chicken chi thai, mushroom masala, naan , quanto formaggi pizza. I must say food was good but not as great as i expected. Fish fingers and pizza was not up to the mark at all, pizza lagged cheeze(a must). But overall it turned to a good experience. Lovely Ambience, Well behaved Staffs, Good Food. If you are in Ranchi you should definitely go to this place. <br/>If you are willing to have just food go on 6th Floor, if you wanna booze go for 7th.

One word verdict: OK<br/>Sorry to disappoint the Ranchi folks but this place doesn’t serve good food. Went there for dinner and was immediately impressed with the ambiance. The service staff was courteous and the menu looked yum. <br/>Ordered veg kebab platter and veg piri piri pizza. Here is the report card:<br/>Veg kebab platter : 3/5<br/>Run of the mill combo and the veg seekh was bone dry. The flavours were nothing to remember <br/>Pizza: 1/5 <br/>Pure inedible with the base being undercooked and the toppings being uncooked too, had to send this back<br/>Will I go there again: probably but will order something else <br/>

Delicious food, price pretty decent ,ambiance wise superb...do prior reservation for rooftop and do not be surprised if the waiters at the rooftop stare at your friends like creeps and pass comments among themselves..

Starting with the food. Food is really very delicious especially the chicken dishes. Ambience is very very very classy. There are two floors here. Prices are a bit high and would be quite pinching to some of you.

Great Ambience, Odered Taichi chicken, chicken kadhai, plain chappati with green salad and Hot chcolate with vanilla ice cream. Taichi chicken-delicious and Hot chocolate is to die for. But For main course chappati was hard and chicken was also bit raw. giving 4 star For good service and ambience. starters were good.

One of the few places that serves authentic continental as well as Indian cusine. The pricing is pretty decent for the variety it serves, neat and clean.. And a great outburst of taste.<br/>They respond well to custom demands as well ✨💖<br/><br/>I tried their Quesadillas and Cheese Jalapeno poppers Fresh Lime Soda and Jasmine Tea.<br/><br/>All items were great! But the Tea was a little below expectations.<br/><br/>Quesadillas have a great portion size, good mexican touch with the dips.. And fries to go along.<br/><br/>Fresh Lime Soda (Sweet) was decent..as one would expect<br/><br/>Cheese Jalapeno Poppers were greatly sized, one can feel the perfect combo of them in the delicacy.<br/>Over all amazing food great decor and lively music..<br/>The staff was cordial as well. <br/><br/>Surely gonna come back.

Unarguably the best place in Ranchi. The rooftop setting was chic & the Mutton Rogan Josh was on point! The Mushroom Chilli, Chicken Yogurt and the mocktails we're good too! Must visit if you are in Ranchi. The price is definitely on the higher side (paid 1700 for 3) but it's totally worth it.

I had Fajitas and Pancake over there. Both were delicious, especially the Fajitas. The Fajitas had proper filling of Mediterranean vegetables and it was well prepared. Pancakes had toppings of chocolate sauce and was served along with few fruits. Ambience was quite good by the standards of the city and was not much crowded. It has a rooftop sitting space too.

Great ambience and great food. One of the best roof top restaurants in Ranchi. Would love to keep visiting this place. Was really glad to see such a place in Ranchi.

Love their Chicken Buffalo wings. Mocktails are different from what you find in Ranchi and are good. Shawarma was disappointing. It seemed more like a chicken cheese roll.
