All a good idea to eat at hot lips. Clelebrated my birthday here. Food was tasty 😋 Starter was very good and even the quantity was very good. We had chicken tikka butter masala and paneer chatpata with butter naan and it was a wholesome meal. Food taste - 5/5 Food quantity- 5/5 Ambiance -3/5 Staff behaviour - 4/5 Totally recommend 👍🏼

We ordered Chicken Boti Kebab and Butter Chicken Tikka Masala along with Naan and Fried Rice. The preparations were good and the portions were ample for a group of 4. The preparations might be a bit oily for some, so you can mention that you need extra less oil during ordering and they do get a bit less generous with the oil then. The location is a bit off the city centre, and food is not worth the drive to Kanke. Also, it might be a bit expensive compared to some other similar places. But when in Kanke one can definitely try this place. The service was prompt and the interior decent. There was a bit of a commotion at the billing counter, but rest was good.

Had a quality family lunch. The food, service and ambiance of the restaurant is good.

Had ordered online the dinner from Hotlips restaurant.The packaging of the food quality was pathetic which lead to leakage of containers prior delivery and all the food was spoiled.In order to maintain the reputation management shall take due care and check prior delivery for online orders.

There is major difference between food served at restaurant and delivery. the butter rotis were half cooked and the paneer was so much oily.

I have ordered twice from hotlips through zomato.. But they always pack wrong orders and parcel it.. Evn if u hav ordered plain nan they will mention butter nan in the bill and charge for dat but wil give plain Naan..

I ordered a masala kulcha it was 4 quantity but when we receive the order instead of culture all we got was baked rotis and it was not good at all the food was also very scale the fresheners had already gone. The food seems to be outdated and it is very unpleasant please don't buy from here.<br/>

Its been some time since last visited here, but still remember the taste of this place. One of the best restaurants to dine in kanke no doubt, have tried a variety of dishes here, Chicken butter masala, Chicken Chillie, Kadhai Chicken are all very well made. A combo of Chicken Butter Masala and Naan is highly recommended, you will really love it. The service here us also quite quick and the waiters are well versed with the menu and can suggest u quite good dishes according to your taste.<br/>Overall a good place and definitely a must try.

The location is good..After entering I liked the ambience..I went there with two of my friends and ordered coffee,Veg Hakka noodles,Paneer Paratha and Chicken Mughlai Paratha..For coffee they denied at first saying the kitchen is quite busy..But after requesting they agreed..Veg Hakka noodles were tasty and the soup accompanied served like an icing on the cake..Paneer paratha was below average as the amount was paneer stuffed was very less.Chicken mughlai Paratha was Ok..

So, I went to this place around 7, I think. The weather was kinda cold to me so I wanted to have a cup of tea. To my suprise, they said that they don’t prepare tea for a single person, only a group. I wonder which restaurant does this. I haven’t known any.<br/><br/>We ordered the most famous dishes of the restaurant. Chicken chilli, Chicken Tandoori and a hot lips special dish. <br/><br/>The chilli was average, bordering on good. The Tandoori seemed horrendous and had an unpleasant odour. Not up to the mark, really. <br/><br/>The last piece of order, the special dish was once again average. The gravy was fine, but the chicken was harder than it should have been.<br/><br/>Would I come again? With that rate of dishes? Nope.

Pathetic Place. Good ambience however most illiterate staffs around. Pathetic hospitality. Right now sitting in this place and u can imagine my frustration that I started giving my review right away. Placing orders and delivery is too late. Staffs hardly know the basics of serving or attending guests. Perhaps won't visit ever again.

Water: You would be forced to buy bottled water as normal water quality is extremely poor. What else can you expect if the restaurant can't serve you normal drinkable water.<br/><br/>Service: Pathetic, waiters are more interested in watching TV than serving food. They even change channels according to their wish.<br/><br/>Food: Too expensive for below average quality food. Mostly the food is not fresh. Quality of food as already said is below average. Moreover whether its Kanke Road branch or Hinoo branch the food is cooked just-in-time, for example - they keep boiled chicken and dip it in readymade gravy according to order. In other words the place is a dhaaba with name of restaurant. Infact it used to be a dhaaba.<br/><br/>In total a highly overrated restaurant. Skip it if you can. Better go to Moti Mahal, Seasons etc who are genuinely good.

This place is my all time favourite. I love almost all of the dishes of this place. Nice ambiance sober staff.<br/><br/>Chicken chilly, tandoori chicken, chicken dehati and mix chicken noodles are a must try of this place. Unlike any other outskirt restro, it has nice ambience, waiters are up to the mark, food is good. Only drawback is it's parking, which is on the road side.

One of the old and very popular restaurant in the city.. Located at kanke road ( after holiday home ) <br/>They serve great food along with drinks too..<br/>Maximum of the time it's full of people or the restaurant is busy for official party service, but nothing to worry you will get your food and drinks .<br/>I've been there many times and tried there maximum of the dishes.<br/>All were good in taste and service was prompt.

The food and ambience both were just amazing. I had been there to celebrate birthdays party of my friend. Yes that's true that for the people leaving in the central area of Ranchi has to travel a bit more to reach the place but trust me the traveling is worth it. The service was also good except one two things, just like we ordered mushroom manchurian but they serve the mushroom chilly and when we asked then that this is not at all mushroom manchurian then the waiter said no we make mushroom manchurian like this. And we were at the upper floor because the ground floor was full. At the place they were serving Alcohol openly. Which was not comfortable for the non-alcoholic people like me.

I have heard lot about this restaurant before joining Ranchi but I didnt find impressive. it was very commonplace restaurant. Ambience and sitting are very basic. <br/><br/>I have ordered few item but in case of non-availability I have reordered chicken curry and Murg Musslam with tandoori rotis. Taste-wise it was average nothing wonder. chef have prepared in its own way.. However I am pretty impressed with quantity only it was sufficient for two adult people.

One of the few good places to visit on the way to Patratu. I had been here years back and was surprised to see the good they've done to the place after renovation, on my visit yesterday. We took a table on the first floor and I was pretty happy with the ambience. The service was alright but the waiter serving us was too lazy.<br/>There is a good variety on the menu and the prices are economical.<br/>Starters: Baby corn chilli- tasted good but wasn't crispy enough.<br/>Paneer tikka- was good. How a paneer tikka should taste like.<br/>Potato chilli- the taste was fine but they'd served these huge chunks of potato so a lot of it just tasted like plain boiled potatoes. Cutting smaller pieces would've helped.<br/>Mains:<br/>Mushroom do pyaza.<br/>Paneer Butter Masala- We'd ordered two plates. The second batch was good. The first batch was a little low on salt.<br/>Chicken Tikka Butter Masala- The quantity was huge! This is the amount you'd usually get on ordering two plates of the same dish. As for the taste, there was too much salt.<br/>Butter naan-it was dripping in butter .<br/>Peas pulao- It was more like butter pulao- with peas and rice. All you tasted was butter in every bite.<br/>The dishes weren't perfect but the overall experience was fine enough. Plus we were really hungry so we happened to eat it all without complaining.

I have been ordering food from this restaurant for almost 10 years now. Their chicken tikka masala is great. But the chicken itself is not juicy. Malai kofta is the best I have had and shahi naan is great too.

One of the best place when visiting Patratu. We visited this place while returning from Patratu Dam in the Rainy season. There was person who took order for delivering the food in your car itself which was one of the good thing. The best place for chai pakode. The paneer pakode and onion pakode were yumm. The tea was good. The service time was long but the wait is worth.

One of the most exquisite restaurants in the locality under this range. The food quality is amazing specially the naan and chicken items are among the best. The curries and biryani are of the sorts that can't be found easily in Ranchi. The staff is quite well mannered and polite. Being at outskirts of the city, it also provides a calm and soothing environment. What it might lack on location for some is definitely covered by its ambience. A perfect dine out experience for a foodie.

Hot Lips is ideally located in front of Rock Garden, which is one of the major tourist attractions in Ranchi. I liked the ambience, interiors & prompt service. The menu was typical North Indian & taste was okay. However, they need to pay lots of attention on the Male washroom which was very dirty.

Very good restaurant located at Gandhi Nagar, Ranchi.. With delicious stuffs.. The best here are spring rolls.. Served hot and spicy.. But is pricy as compared to others of its kind!

I think there has been some renovation done as the ambience is better than what is said about this place. The food here was good and tasty. I like the chicken biryani served as we don't find many places with that kind of taste in Ranchi. The quantity of the food that is offered is also good. Overall I like this place and will prefer going to whenever I want to eat non-vegetarian food.

One of the restaurants that does not create much of an impression from the outside. But be reassured that you will enjoy your meal. The naan, fried rice and curries especially chicken rassa and chicken korma with babycorn starter were really good though the quantity in the curries is pretty much the same as you usually expect ( a little less from the stand point of a foodie :-p , if you know what I mean :-p ).<br/>Overall, its a decent place to eat though the ambience is not that great.

While the ambience is not great ; the food is comparatively better. Although the restaurant would do well with reduction in wait time. The restaurant also has an attached bar which makes the place not the one to visit with families. Last time I was around a fight broke out among the hotel staff and guests which does not augur well for a restaurant. I liked their Fruit Salad and the Malai Kababs.. The tandoor items were also good. Easily the best restaurant in terms of food quality on Kanke Road.

Good food, affordable. Service is a bit lax, but it's not bad. Great for outing with friends. If going out with ladies, be sure u can take care of trouble from the patrons. But the management is very helpful, so there shouldn't be any problems.

This place has extremely dim lights and that's the only shady aspect to it. The price is high and the arrangement is very medium budget fine-dine.<br/>Considering decision making is always a pain, we decided to go for butter naan and the Hot Lips special mutton curry.<br/>It did take a while but since we were talkers, we didn't know time pass by.<br/>Now, the naan was super huge and cushiony; like bread. One was quite filling. <br/>The curry. Oh that curry. I have experimented so much with meat, but never did I imagine fruits in my mutton curry. There was cherry, papaya, pineapple and even that foil thing (generally found around sweets). Obviously the fruit chunks where horrid in that thick mutton Marsala gravy. But then the mutton in itself was amazing. So much meat and very few bones. Well cooked and really awesome. But those fruits /:<br/>

The food is good. Ambience a bit dark but it's alright to go for a quick bite. The waiters are polite and friendly but the food is served very slow. I hate waiting in an almost empty restaurant for 20-25 minutes for my meal so that was kinda irritating. Overall, it's a good restaurant.
