Review Jalajoga Restaurant - Ranchi

The food was good. The dining area was a little clumsy, but this is justified since it is at a very prime location in ranchi. The only concern was about the hygiene. We saw cockroaches roaming around the floor which increased my anxiety about the wellness of the food served.

Tried Paneer Do Pyaza and Butter Naan. Paneer was yummy and butter naan was also good. They have both ac and non ac sitting areas.

Coming since childhood and they have never disappointed and continue to serve the original taste. It also has a restaurant where you can have dinner or lunch and you'll get aal the sweets items below at the confectionery

Taste of dosa was amazing.

Good resturant to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner at the heart of the city. Good options available for dine in and has got 2 floor siting ground floor as non AC and first floor as AC sitting arrangment. Rossa gulla and other sweets available to enjoy the Indian sweets and good for having a small family dinner.

Visit for the good meal here. Available in AC dinning and non AC too, ground floor and first floor respectively.

One of the old restaurant in ranchi. Food was good and reasonable price. Space is little cramped.

The food does bring the street culture to the palate in a better way. Sweets are the showstoppers.

One of the best food outlet in Firayalal. Being hygiene lover.. visited first time and had a very awesome experience. The best thing that I love is their Raj Bhog Sweet. It was really heart melting 🤤. I suggest everyone to visit and capture their memories in between varieties of eatables.

jaljoga has really good rolls,kebabs and biryani it is old reputed restraunt. most of it's food are delicious. But ambience is old nothing furnished uncomfortable seats. It's better to order food online rather then having there.

A better place to eat specially in a peaceful environment. I can give 3 to 3.5 star for the food and 4 star for bevearge.if you are tired of shopping you can enjoy food here because ambience is good and peaceful

Ones I took a parcel of egg do pyaza from here and they gave me the eggs in chicken gravy and two small bones were found too though I loved this restaurant as the food was awesome but after that incident I never ate there.<br/>

The place is too small. The ambience is not nice. The tastes okay-okay, but considering it's taste and the ambience of the restaurant, the prices are high. You could eat at a far better restaurant, at the price they charge you. The service is obviously bad. They take a lot of time not even to serve, but also to take your order. If you are in a hurry and find no better restaurant, then you can drop in here for snacks or sweets, but for a full meal, better avoid it.

Food is good and price is reasonable . Idli Sambhar is especially a good eating stuff over here. It is next to firayalal at Albert ekka chowk, main -road, ranchi.

This place served one of the worst dosas i had eaten in ranchi.I regret my decision of going to this place today.The shops which are in main road just outside this restaurants serve a.lot times better food than this.

At firayalal chowk, Ranchi. Better place with better foods but quite expensive than their service. Staffs are okay but not that much good as they charge.

Well the restaurant is on the 1st floor . Though the dishes are not expensive the taste is not that great it's just bland. I ordered biryani which was too overpowered with scent and the rice was not cooked properly. I had a terrible experience. As far as other dishes are concerned they are just filling. Some of the items ofcourse might be good but certainly not a place for more than one visit. Atleast for me.

Good service and food also but its slightly expensive as compared with Punjab Sweets. Kacauri served is too small and too dry which to swallow.<br/>

Wow it's just a awesome place for snacks I mean for light food like chola batura, dosa,idly ,Sambar,samosa etc. If u r hungry and you don't have too much time then it's a good option for you near to firayal chowk. Here you can go single or your friends or your family u always enjoy food. It's also a good for parcel too. As the food price are not high so it's also pocket friendly. The place is also neat and clean

Steer clear of this place, unless you have an iron stomach or a sense for the wrong kind of adventure. The place looks filthy from the front and if on a bright day there's enough light to see in, you'll rush past it's dirty tables and dank kitchen.

The best kind of off beat experience at the heart of the city! Finger licking Chicken curry for a sit down meal and Chicken Egg roll is for the street foodies! Must try !

location is prompt.its good for some quick bites bit i will not recommend for meals...<br/>some what crowded but quite obvious with its location..food is ok..but quantity is not ample.. overall a good visit for some snacks and refreshments..

Bad service..... i rarely get to eat non veg food at home ...so i mostly have takeout.... I ordered bonelss chicken chilli dry but they gave me chicken chilly with bone with minimum meat and a load of soya sauce which resulted in a bad taste and unsatisfied me. I saw it after i reached home and it was no possible for me to return for my correct order.When called to complain about this matter, the person just asked about the problem, said ok, and cut the call.... eating chicken is like a delicacy to me and this experience was ruined by this.

One of the oldest restaurant in Ranchi,we used to visit it since our childhood,Situated neae firayalal chowk.This place is not for those who goes for ambience but for those who are for food.Simple food with fast servicr and good taste, hygine can be a issue.

Visiting place since childhood, good and cheap place, used to have chola batura which was tasty.. Ok place only, locality is good, but ambience is 0 bcz it is a road kind of restruant... can go there if u want easy on ur pocket

Has been visiting this place since I was a kid. It's good to see these old eateries still doing good after so many years. Has always been an economical yet decent outlet.

It's good to grab a bite at a cheaper rate and the food given here is also pretty decent and the ambience is pretty ok as well it's good for families as well as couples ....

My dad first brought me to this place when I was like 4-5 years old.. From then this one was our favorite restaurant in town.. I used to love all food of jalajoga and the ambience was great too but sadly now the quality and taste of foods are not that good how it used to be.. So from past one year we are not visiting this place that much..

I usually visit here for morning breakfast... its quite cowdy.. well that says it.. It has testy food with sufficient amount.. snax here is also good I haven't been here for lunch so can't comment on that..

I use to there from last 16-17 years, everytime same good food. But when I visited last time there around 3-4 months ago, I ordered veg noodles with veg chilly, it was worst food I ever had, noodles without taste and veg chilly is so hard that I can't chew it properly. Complaint avout the same to waiter but he didn't pay attention. That was my last visit!

This restaurant used to be one, then it split into two, then into three, then again merged into one... Whatever might be its chequered history, its a popular place for those with limited budgets. Their chole bhature might be the fastest moving item in their menu.. but the non-veg items are not bad. Its strategic location ensures that it receives a steady stream of customers all day long.
