Review Chashm E Shahi - Ranchi

Everything is great. But they don't serve South Indian food, so if that's what you're looking for, I'd suggest not to go here. But everything else is superb.

Sweets are fabulous, snacks are also good. They charge you little high but it's ok to spend every penny. Customer service and process is good.

Recently newly opened sweets, snacks, namkeen,chaat, golgappa, South Indian, North Indian food, continental items,eggless cakes and pastries, veg thali and many more items of eatable is worth the price. The taste of all available items are good and tasty.

On Kanke road. Good quality snacks and sweets and pastries. Also has restaurant for dinner. Little bit costlier than other local restaurant.

Interior design is awesome plz remove the jhalar paper, entrance view is classy n no word for chicken kassa, it was a great experience.

A good place to hangout.<br/>Sweets are good here especially the indrani cup, it Tastes delicious. South Indian food is not that good here, can come for snacks

Ambience is nice, self-service is there, they provide sweets and snacks. There Rasmalai and Sandwich samosa,kachori are good. from Paprichat to dabeli they provide variety of foods.

It is one of the best sweet house and a snack shop in ranchi having two outlets, one is at gandhinagar and the other one is at main road. The sweets are really awesome and specially rasmalai is a must if you visist chasm e sahi main road .

This outlet is just adjacent to my residence. This place offers both an ambient restaurant experience and a sweet and snacks shop. I have been to the restaurant as well as the shop multiple times. The food is nice but slightly pricey. The sweets shop is food though. Always the goto shop for me. This time around I went to the shop to get some gond ke laddus. Like always love the sweets and snacks here. The laddu however was so delicate that it was breaking apart very easily and quickly. But the taste was amazing. I also tried chocolate cake from this place. It too was amazing.

Don't eat at main restaurant . The from seating area is best. It serves good food albeit in smaller quantities.<br/>Try white bada rasgulla. Qty for Chinese combo very less.

Came here to have some snacks. The shop has a huge variety of foods, moderately rated. The waiters are really polite and cooperative. The foods are all very tasty, be it sweet or savory. They have seating arrangements too.

Chashm-e shahi in Kanke road is one of the best restaurant in ranchi. Entrance is very attractive, the dining area inside is spacious, the waiters are not much knowledgeable, they need to be trained a bit by the authority. Serving time is long so one has to be patient but the food is absolutely delicious, truly finger licking. we ordered chicken chatpata kabab and chicken nawabi kabab for starters, both were very good, chicken pieces were big and soft with right amount of spices. For main course we ordered amritsari kulchas, chicken keema naan, chicken kasturi and mutton handi, all of them were excellent, fresh lime soda was also good. overall extremely satisfied with the experience and will visit it again when will be in that area..

A very nice restaurant, it was . Just like any other family restaurant. The ambience was fine. But the FOOD was DELICIOUS. The presentation of the food was a 5/5 . The taste was splendid. The best dish I liked was : Tandoori chicken. The was quite soft and tender ,and the spices was mixed perfectly well.<br/>The only problems I faced was the service, which was too slow. The menu card is quite heavy on pockets, but the taste may make it up to you. :)

Food is flavourful and tasty, Waiters are very cordial and helpful, Interiors need to be spruced up. Location wise it is good but there is no parking lot in the structure. Prices are on the higher side.

They sell sweet made days ago and for that too u have to wait for so long.. neither the taste is good nor the staff attitude towards customers.. same is the situation of their restaurant.. pls don't visit this place .. it's pathetic..

This is one of the good desserts and snacks joint in Ranchi. It is very reasonable and the menu has a lot to offer. Not a traditional kind of sweet shop, where you would find sweets being continuously prepared, and this lends the place its corresponding ambience. There are live counters as well for snacks items like dosas. The quality and taste is above average, but a bit over-priced.

Nohing is good apart from the name. Over priced, over rated, taking the advantage of being only one such type in kanke road. Poor attitude nd service.

Visited this place on consecutive days after shifting to this city. The ambiance is good. The food is good. But whatever Goodwill they earn from the quality of their food they lose it over the time they take to serve the order. On both the days they took ages to deliver the complete order. Surprisingly they took nearly 20 mins to deliver a cup of tea yesterday. Lastly the food is good though and that's what might induce me to come for the third visit.

Was impressed with food few years ago. The snacks corner is good except the attitude of guys who serve it. Even chefs can have a bad day but you end up selling STALE food... SERIOUSLY.... you consider changing the business. I was impressed with DAL MAKHANI especially at this place, but today i re-iterate they have lost the magic and the minds too...

Nice place to snack in. There are variety of food items sweet and savoury but what I loved the most was paneer sandwich and veg chop. Food is good, seating good, but the service could have been so much better. While dining, you have to work really hard to get the attention of the waiters to get noticed. North Indian food is definitely palatable and well cooked. Though some items in the menu could use some improvement, it's at least worth a try for once.

Sweets shop by chashm e shahi restaurant. The sweets are good and yummy. Its very economical. It is located very far from the city. The snacks are yummy and tasty. The place is good and quite. The price is very economical.

My first visit to this place was on TarunJi's birthday party. Had awesome time really. Food was fine ambiance was okey staff was good and service was so so. That time we really ate a lot... i m here in Ranchi since last two years and a regular visitor to your restaurant. but today i was highly disappointed due to your service and quality of food. i noticed that for last six months your food are so bad in taste and old stock as well. without seeing the condition of snacks, sweets and cakes your staff members were served to us. when we complained no one listen to us rather they asked for bill. its highly unprofessional way to deal with customers and i don't think its a good way to do business. kindly tk it as a suggestion and hire some professional people.

Of all the sweet & snacks shop present at Kanke Road,this one is the best in terms of ambience.This shop actually charges the people not for the quality & quantity but only for the ambience of the shop.The quality of the sweet & snack served here is average and not according to that for which you exactly pay for.I've personally seen people complaining at the billing counter about the quality of the products.Also,it's not a guarantee that you'll be getting fresh snacks over here.You may get samosas,kachoris,cream-rolls,puffs etc which were prepared a day before.The staff will simply heat the product in the oven and will hand over to you.<br/>Overall,I suggest the management of the shop that if they are reading the reviews of people over here then,please improve the quality of the products & charge your customers accordingly.

I stay in Koyla Vihar just next to this place and hence I am a frequent visitor. The quality of sweets is easily the best you can find on the entire stretch of Kanke Road. <br/><br/>If you want to have something light like a dosa, pizza or Chole bhature; this is the place to be in Kanke road. Welcome change compared to its restaurant which is best avoided.

Place looks gloomy and dark. Need to improve on ambience . Food is average. People who love spicy food would love the place. Not for people like us who want less oil and less of spice in the food.

I haven't had the sweets but I've had the chats. The gol gappas particularly were bland. It is the only place in Ranchi where I saw suji wale gol gappe but they turned out to be really bad.

First two visits- The ambiance was fine. Service- not up to the mark. Food was good. I tried north Indian and Chinese and both were good.<br/>Third Visit- too dark. Good service. Bad food. The kadhai chicken was alright. The paneer butter masala tasted weird.<br/>

Horrible Aaloo Tiki chat. Never try this dish. Sweets are over priced compared to the quality. The kachoris are made in the morning and served till late evening after heating in a microwave, resulting in the loss of its crispiness. Not worth visiting.

Used to be quite good sometimes back, but flocking of customers has decreased with time, reason unknown. Decent hygiene, product quality above satisfaction. The price charged is not worth it at times.

Quality product, hygiene standards are good. The place is neat, clean and tidy. The north Indian sweets are quite good. Still this place is not among the top in the city because the taste of products are not proportional to money charged. And the snacks served here is below expectations.

Visited the place for lunch. Saw good reviews on zomato and decided to visit it. It is located far off from the main city which makes it inconvenient to visit. The ambience was decent, but the food was pretty ordinary. Moreover, the quantity is very poor and on the whole it is ridiculously expensive. Two of us ordered 3 items and ended up paying more than 1200. Not worth it.

Spending your childhood in kanke road means you grow you with Chashm-e Shahi. Its a place I have been freaking out so often that now I dont need the menu card to place my order... its learnt by heart! Well.. this place has just grown up with me... the counters.. the chairs.. the food.. some changed to suit the trends.. some changed to fulfill the public demands... whatever it is, the food is still the same and brings water in your mouth at the first thought. North indian food is cool. Non veggies and veggies all get a lot of variety.. though i am a hardcore chicken lover my personal favourite here is the veg kassa. Chineese food makes its mark with chopsey.. chilly chicken goes fine with it.<br/><br/>Though nothing extraordinary... its a good place to hang out with friends and family and definitely a place to remember if you live in kanke road!

I am rating this review based on my visit 2 years back, last time I was at this place.<br/>Have been to this place twice, first time that I was here was more than 3 years back and the ambiance as well as food quality was superb, but sadly both degraded as what I saw in my last visit and which is a serious turn down. <br/>Hope they have improved from that point.
