Craving PORK? Head right in. You've found the right restaurant. I Enjoyed every bit. Suggestion to Team Chopsticks: A little smokey flavour will go a long way (Pork). Photo: Pork Chow-chow rice. Good quantity for one. Rs. 260 as on Aug'23.

Nice ambiance and good food but have pork in menu

Good place to hangout with your friends. You can celebrate birthday party. Peaceful, nice ambiance and delightful service. Under budget. Chinese food is good here. Nonveg is above average and they do serve pork-Yes you heard it right. I tried Diced chicken chilli and i loved it- little bit spicy and average pieces. Drawback- Non availability of deserts. No special dishes (only common items are available).

Chopsticks has its own following. We have been visiting the place for the last 30 years. It never disappoints, the food is closer to authentic Chinese and is made from good quality ingredients . Although the ambiance needs a lot of improvement. Visit this place if you like good Chinese food.

Good food and very good service. Just need to improve the ambience. It seems v clumsy with lot of chairs and tables and dull lights. So they should work on their interiors. Other wise food is good !

Best Chinese Restaurant in town. Best place if you like pork. Chilli chicken is awesome. Ambience is a bit off but food makes up for everything...

Food - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Ambience - 5/5

What I ordered - Chicken Sweet corn soup, chicken chilly, pork chilly, chicken spring roll, veg hakka noodles.

What I liked - All of the above, but chicken chilly wasn't as good as everything else.

Went there with my family and the food experience was simply amazing. Everything was amazing and the food experience was brilliant. I had little expectations from pork chilly but it was better than the chicken chilly that they served. Chicken sweet corn soup was just amazing.

A good chinese joint overall.

First restaurant in Ranchi where I found pork! I was super happy to be here. They offer both Chinese and Indian.
Tried manchow soup, roast pork chowmein, paneer chilli, veg pulao, chicken butter masala and everything was great in taste except the soup. The quantity is a bit less though. The service is good. Overall, loved the place!πŸ‘

Went for lunch last weekend. Ambiance was good and the serve time was moderate. Food was up to the mark and the portions were more than adequate for single person, needless to say that having a meal there won't put a big dent in your pocket. Price friendlyπŸ‘πŸ»

If i had an option would have given negative number to them the food is soo pathetic i cant even describe we took a take away of chicken fried rice, chillie chiken and chikn manchurian.the vegetables in the rice was raw and there was no taste, the eggs wwre all black in that the machurian tasted like hot salty water
Never had such pathetic chinese in my life if u was in the restaurant would have asked for a refund.never ever going to the place again
I have been there a few times as it is close to my office, but only when I'm left with no other options. They put tons of oil in every dish even if u ask them not to. They serve pork, seemed a blessing but the taste is rubbish. Only one dish I would vote for is the diced chicken chilli. Other than that, it's a big no.

The worst restaurent in Ranchi. Does not run well and they serve stale food. My family of 5 had severe stomach upset after eating there last week. Used to be a good place many years back but now its a very shoddy place. One of our family friends also had a similar incident of food poisioning (we came to know about it after going through the ordeal ourselves) Chopsticks should be avoided at any cost.

This place intrigued me a lot as it is one of the few places in Ranchi serving pork. Naturally we decided to go for a pre-puja lunch before leaving the city to go back to Kolkata. The ambiance was nothing special. 2 pm on a Thursday afternoon and they said that only one plate of pork was left which was the only option we had to go for. The dish was very good but going out of stock in the middle of the day isn't a good thing is it? Customers ain't gonna be happy. We ordered mixed non veg noodles, hot garlic chicken and chicken Manchurian. This is the first place where I had mixed noodles infused with fried liver. Who gives liver in noodles???? Apart from that the noodles tasted good. But the entire spoiler was the chicken dishes. Both had chicken pieces below the standard size served by any restaurant. I haven't seen such small diced chicken being served anywhere before. Moreover the entire stuff didn't taste upto the mark. The chicken tasted bland at times. All over a so-so experience.

The food is priced well. No complaints there.
As per chinese, they've done a good job. I like the gravy noodles and the chicken chowmein.
Staff are well mannered.
Ambience is okay, it could be better.

The chicken chilly is a must eat.its one of a kind. All the non veg items are good but the noodles is not as good is it should be in a Chinese restaurant.Price is good for the quality of food being provided.awesome place for students ,pocket friendly but I wish they gave student discounts.

This was my second time at this place. The place has changed a lot since the last time I visited here. We ordered chicken chowmein ( which was really tasty) and chicken chilli ( boneless- yummy, with bone-big bones made it uncomfortable to eat). Overall service was good. Nice place to hang out with family.
Tuhin Chakraborty
One of the oldest Chinese restaurants in Ranchi. The mixed chowmein here is epic. It contains various cuts of chicken. This place is also known for its pork preparations.

I was going to lalpur from firayalal chowk when I encountered this place. Chopsticks is a small restaurant some where near the Sentavita hospital. It's ambience is not that great but their service is commendable.

I tried chicken Lung fung soup, veg hakka noodles and diced chilli chicken. All of them were amazing and the food was in ample quantity. We also ordered one masala soda and a sweet soda. The masala soda wasn't tasting so good so my friend mixed both the sodas. It tasted amazing after that. Overall the place is very economical. It's a great place to dine if you are low on pocket.

The ambience is good.
However the hospitality aspect is poor.Despite the restaurant being empty, the waiter handed us the cheque the minute we finished eating. He was impatient enough to constantly stare at us untill we finished eating. We ordered chinese chopsuey which was saltless. We got it replaced with american chopsuey which had excessive salt in it!

This place is amazing! True meaning of Chinese in Ranchi, though the ambience is not quite comfortable, but the food is lipsmacking. Reason I gave 4.5 is because of the ambience, else the restaurant deserved 5.0!

Okay ... how can I not write about this place ! This place has been there before I was born and I have been visiting here since I was a toddler ! I truly love this place ! My love for Chinese food comes from here ... whenever I visit Ranchi.. its mandatory for me to visit Chopsticks .. there is this old waiter who has actually seen me grow up and loves to serve at my table when I visit πŸ˜‡

For Chinese Chopsticks is one of the best restaurant in Ranchi apart from Chinese all other foods are like so-so.. Ambience was nice when I last visited this place like 2-3years ago...

Yes, this is the place where you should go if you want good Chinese food in Ranchi. Was recommended highly about this place as it had introduced Chinese to the city. The chilly chicken is awesome. Β I like it here because they do not over do the sauces and sugars. Even the pork items are good. Hope they continue to keep their standards.

An average place with a good chinese menu. Food is above average but not consisten as some times you might get very amazinf food and some times ok ok kind of. But atleast you can give a try, ambience is also average and there is a huge parking problem specially for fourwheelers.
Abhinav
The taste has not changed a wee bit since ages... Great food at great price... The interior could do with some upgarde but I guess that's the charm of an old chinese joint. Must visit for Chinese food.
Karan
Good food, authentic Chinese. Reasonable Price. Nice environment and well behaved waiter. As it is basically Chinese Restaurant, it's pretty obvious that they serve amazing Chinese food but they have Non-Chinese foods in their menu, too.

The war-horse of (Indian) Chinese cuisine in Ranchi. 25 - 30 years ago, it was an institution in itself; portions were huge, the cooking was awesomely authentic, and the restaurant was the place to be in. But time has taken its toll. A single waiter of the good old days remains; the portions have reduced considerably, the premises have been re-modelled, and the restaurant is forced to offer vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian food also, including tandoori!! Its USP is gone, but the place still offers genuine (Indian) Chinese fare. Highly recommended.. and anywaz, Firayalal area, once the centre of Ranchi's elite crowd (which has long migrated to Church Complex area) has no decent eateries in the vicinity, except Chopsticks. So give it a try, folks!! You won't regret it.

I promise they have the best boneless chilli chicken in the whole world. Tried it every where in India and abroad, couldn't find such awesome chilli chicken anywhere. Whenever I come to Ranchi, I think about my family and this chicken of chopsticks. :)

Had heard a lot about this place and finally paid a visit for lunch. Ordered chicken hot and sour soup and chicken chowmein (it can't possibly go wrong in a supposedly Chinese restaurant).

There is nothing great about their food. In fact at times it seemed as if it may be stale. Haven't visited again, there are better places for Chinese food even in Ranchi.
