Review Hooch - Ranchi

Hooch Bar and Lounge is situated in Main Road also called as Mahatma Gandhi Marg just opposite to Manyawar or in the building of YES BANK, the atmosphere of the bar is cool and good but I would not say excellent because as you enter to the Hooch Bar and Lounge you feel like so smoky because as per the Hooch it is a bar and lounge but due to hukka it feels to smoky which feels uncomfortable most of the time, but the Bar and lounge is good , you can find any drink as per your choice which is excellent even you will get brands like Jack Daniels which is not available in the city like Ranchi but if you love hukka and drinks this is the perfect place for you, even you will get the foods here which is awesome in taste especially I loved Grilled chicken which is so lovely and juicy and so mouth watering, I love this place especially for drinks because I will get any drink of any brands which is so good for me.. so if you love alcohol here the place for your all need and food is also awesome.So I would recommend all of you to visit the Hooch Bar and Lounge for the happier moments with your friends and enjoy the beautiful ambience and vibrant exquisite delicacy. Kind of a bar with lots of Bhojpuri music played in the DJ console😁🤣. Price is quite higher as compared to the ambience. In addition dont plan for a quite evening if you are planning to visiting here. Service is good. The crowd also is a mixed one and thereby think twice before visiting with your friends and family.

Ambiance - 4/5 ( Ambiance is good full of colourful lights, loud music with bass with rotating disco beam light. Full tripsy environment but sadly dance floor is not available.) Food Quantity- 4/5 Food Taste- 4/5 (We tried Chicken Chilly & Chicken Lollipop. Taste was average, not finger licking just okay okay type.) Service- 4/5 (I feel service was not so fast little bit late, but service boys were very cooperative and well behaved.) Price 3/5 (Price wise I'm not not satisfied with Hooch. I feel it's over priced for this kind of ambiance, food and service.)

Mid ranged budget comfy place to hang out. Got two optn for smoker while hving drink,one side zbwer you cn puff off while hving drinks,nd other side...u hv to rush to smoking room if u need it. No prohibition for single person for entry...i.e u dont need ur couple.

The whole feel of the place is just really awesome. It was not crowded as we went during the day. I personally really enjoyed the food but I think I have had better food. The price point was okish...

Finally a great place to hang out in ranchi. Ambience is excellent with young crowd. Big screen in place for live screening of matches. Dance area is good but very limited people who dance 😢. Good variety of drinks . Offers are rare, but service is good and quick. Smoking area and non smoking area are separate. Food quality is good. Ambience and interiors is excellent. AC working. Parking is limited.

I have been visiting hooch for a long time, saw many ups and downs. I've been a frequent visitor since last 4 year but I doubt that the General Manager is doing his job properly. Hooch hasn't changed since the day I first stepped in. For the past two months I've observed that the broken sound system hasn't been changed. General Manager should know these points else he'll make a situation ameliorate. They broadcast the same channel every evening even the waiters are unable to do anything. Does he even visit to check the decomposing situation of this place? Unlike other bars and restaurants I haven't even seen him once.

Hooch is one of the best place to visite on weekend,great ambience great food and great service too,I went on today afternoon for luch on that time place was full packed still got table,thanks to our server who non other than Mr.Shyam recommend us great food and gave farst service once again thanks shyam,I will be cumm again.

Good place to hang out. But if you are considering the ambiance then a big no to this place. If you are visiting this place in evening then it is manageable, but during the day hours , it is literally worse.<br/>

Very bad services and misbehave with customers by staffs...dont talk with custumors properly...they donot understand customers................bad quality of food....staff laxman dont know the way to talk with customers<br/>

A nice place..but was highly dissatisfied by the management...they charged Rs 50 for a water bottle that too not poured but sealed..on raising an alarm they said sir this was a regular complaint and the owner is anant on the same....food was ok...ambience was nice<br/>..but not gonna visit again.

The service is extremely slow, music is too loud....you can't even have a conversation property. Also the food is below average with very limited options.

We came here for the first time after renovation . And i must say place looks really good now . We ordered chilly potato , chilly chicken and crispy mushroom . We ordered cocktails . They were okayish. Ambience is really good now .

A pocket friendy bar with good food quality and taste, maintenance is required, mostly crowded with uncivilised crowd. Hillarious part of it is the manager has to run after every 2nd customer till the exit/Lift just to check if the customer has paid the bill or not.<br/>Embarasing for a customer like me who has paid the bill and still you are stopped to flash the paid receipt / Charge slip.<br/>

Well this place is good for people who wanna hangout in a decent manner and that too during the daytime because it's a bit of chaos because of the uncivilised crowd gathering as the sun comes to settle down . And as far as Alcoholic Beverages are concerned they come for an average price because I've seen hardly any bars in Ranchi providing Chivas Regal and Absolut and so according to me alcohols are reasonably priced here. But the service isn't appreciated by me they're friendly but not responsive and well trained. Food quality is good though. Overall all it's good but again only by early evening. Afterwards it's hilarious

I have always liked hooch for it's ambience and amazing food. The service is a bit slow but it is the most happening place in Ranchi.<br/>I went for a farewell party to hooch recently. They have two sections. One for the general public and one for private parties.<br/>The food served was amazing. I specially loved the chicken kebab. Their bar is great and all sorts of alcohol is served.<br/>The only drawback was the air conditioning this time. It stayed off half of the time due to some technical error. Everything else was super awesome.<br/>Will surely recommend this place for parties.

Place is fine. Ambience is good. They have attempted to make it look nice. Music is good. Food is good. Serve hukkah. Service is a bit slow, unless you are a very restless guy, then you will call it too slow ;-P. They have free pool table. Crowd is fine. Not too costly either. It's safe place for girls too to go. So you can go their and have fun. :-)

An evening out with my best friends over apple mojitos,hookah,pool and my favourite concoction of Blender's Pride and thumps up with pleasant yet foot-tapping music in the background ought to be fun.The ambience was good and the experience turned to be all the more amazing because of the company of my favourite people in the world.

One of its kind in Ranchi. Serves variety of alcoholic drinks and cocktails. There is loud music, large flatscreen television and a pool table to keep you engaged. The food quality though falls short of expectations. The preparation is at best ordinary though they work hard on presentation. All show no taste will not pull the crowd for long.<br/>The rates are quite high and you can get more value and quality at most of the big reputed brands for the same price. Since I don't drink therefore, I wouldn't give this place any higher rating. This review is mostly on food quality though.

It was a weekend call so I couldn't resist trying some new joint with friends. This is a fine bar which serves almost all kinds of variant to drink and to eat. I kinda like their food items which were served well. <br/>This has been divided into two lounges one is with loud music and another is a bit sober which plays mostly Coke studios videos. You can play snooker as well. <br/>Overall a good experience for me and I'm looking forward to go again.

Overpriced booze, average food that won't taste worth the money they charge u unless u are drunk.... Which is not easy since... Again... OVERPRICED BOOZE!!!! and the "trying too hard" ambience....!!<br/>The crowd consists of unprincipled, ill mannered, self proclaimed stud locals or regulars that consider it there own veranda where they can do whatever their drunk minds tells them to do.... A big No No for 'Girls Night out', Accompany a male if u must go.... Bt i'd advice to avoid this place...!! Go to Radisson instead....!! Which is just opposite to it!! Been to this place once. Couldn't figure it out if it a small disc or a mini bar. Place is bit small, but has with nice ambience though staffing is untrained and poor. Food is ok, not too bad.

Amazing place to grab a couple of drinks or throw a party ! The ambience is quite mesmerizing with the psychedelic lighting and trendy music . Food is very good , the non veg starters are a must try . Pricing is reasonable and the staff is very friendly . The only shortcoming is it being quite overcrowded at times due to limited space.<br/>A must visit .

Well my experience wd this place is nt so good d place looks conjusted n over crowded most of d time..they have tried to give it a disco feel wd low lights n dance floor bt it needs to be checkhd n worked upon..even d loud music fans wnt enjoy n get a headache in tenminutes..i find d place well equipped all they need is proper arrangement n all..food however is fyn n is equally good in both veg n non veg..yes service also needs some improvement
