The best food in rishikesh! For westerners it’s a haven. Fresh salads that are safe to eat. Kale smoothies, vegan banana bread, lasagna, gnocchis, Ravioli!

Best cafe around! This is the only place which has fresh green salad with organic kale, arugula, and lettuce that they grow themselves! And amazing pasta, ravioli, and Indian food. And the best chai! It’s also a beautiful atmosphere, and all the proceeds go to helping their nonprofit school and children‘s safe home. ❤️🙌🏼 Truly a must see in Rishikesh! This place will touch your heart forever 💖

What a fantastic place! Vegan options, very tasty and for a good cause. Simply amazing! I had Indian Special (main dish), small salad an vegan apple pie. Highly recommendable!

Absolutely delicious and nutritious food. They have their own sweet and healthy cows and garden. A lovely place. Like a dream. 🙏 ✨

The place has a very serene view and a high positive vibe to it. The people running the place serve food from heart. The menu options are limited and taste of almost everything is only ok. I would say its more on the healthier side than taste. Which is good too. Overall a nice chilled out place to visit. If possible go early in morning as it gets a bit hot during afternoons

Very rustic very good. Food is great. Definetly different than most options in Rishikesh. The cafe is part of an orphanage for girls. It is run mostly by volunteers at the orphanage. The property is out of this world. They grow a lot of the things served on the menu at the property itself. Its a must go place.

Beautiful and peacefull place to eat Organic, vegeratian or even vegan non-spicy and fresh food, salads, hand made pasta... !💚🌿 This Cafe is supporting Ramana's Garden Children home in the same area! You can meet kids in School playground nearby and donate your volunteering time too 🙂🙌✨

Great food, staff, and reasonably priced. All of the proceeds go to the children's school and a lot of the food prepared is grown in the garden next to the cafe. The path to the restaurant is long and twisty, but just follow the signs directing you to the cafe.

Amazing place. Excellent food and mood. The staff is really helpful. The salad (the “dressing”), toasts, flower juice and chocolate&nut ball are 🙌🏼❤️

Awesome food.. great ambience.. unlike any other cafe in the city.. the place is a bit hard to find.. but worth a visit.. a four course meal costs only 400 rupees and the it's great.. the place is run by an American and it is basically run for fund raising for a school which houses about a 120 students who are below poverty line.. the food prepared is fresh and is totally organic..

Went twice for breakfast. Got Spanish omelette with salad and toast, and the morning special which was omelette, fruit salad, toast and coffee. Both very nice. Salad was very fresh. Good views.

Best food in Rishikesh, farm fresh, organic and yummy.

This was the most fresh salad we could find in all of India. The place is set in a beautiful garden with a nice view on the roof of the restaurant itself. The wait staff are incredibly helpful in deciding what to order. They offer a prix fixe for 400 rupees that includes a drink, salad or soup, main, and dessert. Though a bit pricey, the quality is worth every penny, probably even more so. This was a nice place to go for fresh, organic, healthy food that proved worthwhile after traveling 6 weeks in India.

OMG! The momo’s and chocolate cake were by far the best I’ve had in India. Chocolate cake was super moist. And the staff were so accommodating. Definitely recommend 🙏

I was fortunate to visit Rishikesh in February this year, and enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Ramana's Garden Café. All of the food was delicious & healthy; much of it sourced from the Café's garden. The seating in the Café was amazing; surrounded by trees and nature, I felt like I was in a treehouse! The staff are friendly as well. Last, but certainly not least, knowing that the cost of each meal is a significant source of funding for Ramana's Garden youth home with 100% of the profits being reinvested back to the organization is a bonus. Anyone visiting Rishikesh should have a meal (or more!) here!

Beautiful concept. Great organic vegan food. Lovely people. Must visit for those interested in unusual menu and willing to walk. Not for those who want a quick bite of regular fare.

Ramana's Garden is an excellent place to enjoy a meal in Rishikesh! I ate there three times during my three-week visit, and loved it every time. tl;dr: Go there; you won't regret it! :D More details below... Food: Excellent! India travelers know that a real green salad -- especially one you feel safe eating -- is a rare commodity indeed. Not at Ramana's! Also: Lots of great vegan options, even tasty desserts, and the Kale Wraps are amazing. Environment: Beautifully constructed eating spaces, indoors and out, often with beautiful views. Service: The counter people seem, amazingly, to keep up with the semi-chaotic rush calmly and efficiently. They take special orders in stride, which is always a plus. Table service is by the students of Ramana's Garden school themselves, and is friendly and efficient. Cost: Perhaps a tad higher than for a comparable sized meal at a restaurant on the street, but when you factor in the quality, ambience, cleanliness, and the fact that profits support a non-profit school ... well, it's the best value around! Pizza and Movies: I attended one pizza and movie night, and it was awesome. Very comfortable and companionable, with lots of laughter and camaraderie amongst visitors and staff. And the vegan pizza was delicious!

I am so glad that I found this gem of a place. I enjoyed a relaxing evening watching the American classic, It's a Wonderful Life, and dining on pizza and salad. The food is so outstanding that I returned the next day to lunch on the fresh salad with the sesame dressing ... again. The children are adorable and work very hard. I hope to return someday soon and will encourage others to donate to this wonderful cause. These children are truly blessed as am I to get to meet some of them.

The food, people and environment is so positive and healthy. The children are in a good place, thanks to the work of those involved. Our host a young man, is an excellent spokesperson for the orphans, the cafe and the village. Thank you for hosting us.
