Review Cafe Amrit Ganga - Rishikesh

It is a charitable ashram.. the location is very good and the staff is friendly but cleanliness and maintenance is a concern. The walls are damp. The pillows and bedsheets were used and not changed even after reminding.. We need to call the cleaning person again and again to get the room cleaned. Saying all this I would love to go there again cos of its proximity to GangaJi and the promenade outside Akash Ganga is like u can spend hours sitting there. Only this time I will carry my lock, bedsheets and pillow covers...

Firstly, this is a charitable place and not a buisness. People are friendly in the office and will give you the best possible support. Bring your own lock and key! ..,.,., Rooms have seepages, walls are damps. Bedsheets and pillow covers are old and not the cleanest that you can see. There is no room service here. You have to do everything on your own.

Exactly 100 mtrs from Ramjhula, this place serves as the best option to stay in, if you are in Rishikesh for spiritual experience, not for luxury. One BHK flat is given on rent for Rs 1200/-. No room service but a restaurant is running at ground floor. All the rooms are Ganga facing and you can behold the beauty of flowing river sitting in your balcony. The food of restaurant was ok ok, linens were clean, toilet was ok...however, the administration can repair the place to some extent which may add its worth.

Swarg ashram has such good and affordable options and we chose Akash Ganga. We booked 3 1BHK flats at the minimal cost of Rs 1000 each. The experience was so good. Rooms were clean and the view from the balcony was so lovely all the time. There is also a in house kitchen in this place which serves quality and tasteful food.

This is a good ashram near Ram Jhula. Located on the bank of Maa Ganges it offers a beutiful view of the river. Rooms are spacious and affordable. Both AC and Non AC rooms are here. Rooms are 1bhk flat with kitchen and balcony so good space available. Most of the things are nearby and its good place to relax. On the negative side, Canteen is available but food quality not good. No room service and house keeping. Lack of cleanliness and hygeine. One should bring own bed sheets and lock.

All marks for location. River side rooms with personal balconies...ahhh so good. Rooms r average cos it's a dharamshala. No house keeping services available during the stay. U need to pick ur own bags and they clean rooms after every three days.

Good place to stay with family, view of Gangaji from balcony is amazing. Few points to be kept in mind: 1. Make advance reservation through email and request for preferable floor and room 2. Carry your own 🔐 and bedsheet 3. You will get 80G receipt for room charges so take it in the name of family member in highest tax rate bracket 4. Drinking water facility is available on ground floor but I had some throat issues on day 1, so one may opt for mineral water 5. Parking for 4 wheeler is available on backside with INR 100 per day 6. You can park 2 wheeler infront of ashram without any charges, backside parking costs INR 50 per day 7. There is a small cafe type restaurant on ground floor, charges are reasonable. If you love dhaba food, try Chauhan Dhaba on the back side of ashram.

River facing hotel. Location is good its few steps away from the Ram setu. Perfect place to stay at Rishikesh. Prices are very moderate and this hotel also have a cafe where you can enjoy the delicious food. Rooma are pretty big, they have sofa set and lots of chairs. Here you can get all basic amenities at a very nominal price.

Very serene and peaceful place. Well maintained 1 BHK accommodation with picturesque view of ganges from balconies. 10 mins walking distance from parmarth niketan.

This is a river facing hotel. In the enterance, there is sofa set and table. there is one bedroom with a queen size bed. Cupboards are there to keep your belongings. There is a private balcony and a common corridor where you can dry your clothes. This is very close to Ram jhula. Hotel is easily accessible. Price is affordable as it belongs to a trust. Rooms and toilet are neat. Kitchen space is also there. No utensils are there. Note- You need to carry your own lock and key for your room. They will not take any responsibility for your room locks.
