Review Pure Soul - Cafe & Organic Kitchen - Rishikesh

Perfect place in Rishikesh to sit, work, chitchat and have delicious organic meal. I came here on the last day of my Rishikesh trip in July and spent a couple of hours. I was with a Ukrainian and we ordered mashed potato, soul and potato wedges. The place has both floor sitting with comfy mattresses and low tables with high tables and chairs. This arrangement makes it perfect place to go and work. It’s a recommended place. The Mountain View’s from the wall-sized glass window add to the ambiance of this place.

I visited this restaurant at night and the view was just amazing I couldn't take my eyes off the pool and view.😍😍 The best thing about this cafe is that it's floor sitting culture.❣️ They are following our old culture where our ancestors used to sit down and have meals. The staff was very kind and they were having a lot of vegetarian and sweet options 😋 Must visit. 😇

Thanks to a dear friend who recommended us Pure Soul Cafe. While it was a 10 mins walk from our Hotel. But every visit was worth it. Between our group we must have tried almost all of the menu in this maiden visit. The staff and their recommendations are truly pure and courteous. We were attended by this lovely warm lady staff - Lalita. Because of her suggestions we discovered a magic drink called Rhododendron Mojito (which became our favourite and a hit with us). The bartender mixed it to perfection. We are inspired and have got ourselves a concentrate of this local drink to keep trying it at home. Another noteworthy point is their Pizza Base and the prep without Cheese (sorry missed taking a picture as we were really hungry :) ). Keep it up Pure Soul Cafe and team ....we loved it and thanks for a wonderful memory

Beautiful cafe in Tapovan , Rishikesh. The vibe was very calm and serene. The parking space around the cafe is limited. We went for breakfast and it was not too crowded. They have floor seating as well which was very cosy. The staff was helpful and the service was appreciable. They have a vegetarian menu with gluten free and vegan options as well. We had a sandwich, pizza, cereal bowl and smoothies. The taste was good and the portions were quite large. Would recommend this cafe to anyone looking for good food and good atmosphere in Rishikesh.

Best place in rishikesh to spend a calm, blissful day with beautiful mountain views. They have completely plant based and also gluten free options in the menu. Icing on cake are the sweetest people who work here. I had best 3 days relaxing n working here and will definitely go back if I'm ever in the city.

V. Nice, spacious place.. With different kind of sitting arrangements... Inside &outside too. We can spend hours here, relaxing, while having food, browsing ones phone. Food is really good. Good portions. Efficient service too. Menu is vegan.every dish i ordered is nice, nutritious, different.

The most beautiful view from any cafe in rishikesh. It is by pool side and has mountain View. Good was amazing and tasted super yummy. Ambience, food quality, taste and accessibility is great. Also mohit who served the food was very sweet and kind, he was very helpful and polite. Special thanks to mohit. Will visit again for sure.

Fantastic staff and a semi vegan menu. I can recommend vegetable burgers and lasagnes here. A beautiful and huge picture window frames the surrounding hillsides. Meditative music makes for a still atmosphere. I like this place.

I genuinely wanted to give this place 5/5🌟 mainly due to the fact that from a distance (online research etc) it seemed to coincide with many of the elements I value, those being sustainably, vegan cuisine and organic produce. On closer inspection it fell just short. The space and decor are delightful, airy and (relatively) clean. The food is top notch for the most part and of very good quality. The staff seemed stern yet worked hard to keep up with the busy dining hall. One policy which invites a bit of discussion is the "leave the footwear outside" policy. In theory it sounds like a great idea, until one must venture to the rest room and thus enter the toilet cubicle and risk stepping in or on unidentified secretions. The coffee was decent yet not up to other establishment's standard considering the organic label implied by this particular restaurant. Worth the visit no doubt.

DON’T MISS THIS ! This is the place to be!! . . Super Food, Good Service. This cafe has a very special, Calming and relaxing feel. . The views are amazing. They serve “Clean” , VEGAN, Gluten Free food also that is loved by people practicing YOGA. . we Tried Veg Pizza, Pasta, Burgers, Coffee. . Blueberry cheese cake and Lemon cheese cake were the Icing ❤️❤️ . Highly Recommended Place.

A beautiful cafe with a beautiful view. Nice theme and good options for health conscious people. Ordered lassi and frappe. Little pricey but overall it was good.

Best breakfast in Rishikesh, the view on the mountains is so awesome. Had the Indian breakfast. The waiter Deepak was the kindest person and made my stay perfect - thank you for the great hospitality

Quick Service , Good Food, decent variety and light on pocket. Most of the seating area has charging points so you can work easily for as long as you want .

It is a well designed idea located in tapivan in Rishikesh where they serve limited but organic soul food in servings that leave you craving for a little bit more. The food is tasty and well presented if not a bit over priced. The options are healthier and more and more wierd and experimental. The sitting is designed to have 4 tables with floor sitting and another 6 with proper seating. It also has outdoor seating next to the hotel pool. You have to take off your shoes before going in and nights are fairly isolated still. Parking is limited.

Great views and the food were healthy and simple. Getting there however was a little tricky (at least for me) as some areas were blocked off. Be prepared to pay with your credit card, as they don't seem to have sufficient change - they didn't even have 100 rupees change, and forced me to pay by credit card... I feel like for whatever reason they just want you to pay by credit card.

I really like it here! The atmosphere is beautiful in the day with the scenery, and at night the ambience they create is lovely for hanging with friends. The menu is large, but for some reason feels like there isn't much on it. However, their drinks are AMAZING! I love their coffees! And the smoothies are always perfect. My favorite is the flexible yogi! ❤🙏🏼 I highly recommend this place although it is a little pricey. Try the desserts as well

I visited this cafe today after reading reviews and checking the pictures. I will individually review and rate each dish and based on that I'll give it a final rating.<br/><br/>1- Ice Tea : it was fresh and home brewed. Could be useful after a tiring day but it was a bit sweet. 4/5<br/><br/>2- Humus and Pita Platter : pita was dry and humus was nowhere close to authentic humus. Falafel was ok. 2/5<br/><br/>3- Rainbow salad : it was a weird mix of different things. I'll leave it up to you based on your personal preference.<br/><br/>4- Veg Kathi Roll : It was actually very good and the mint chutney was also very tasty. 5/5<br/><br/>5- Caprese Pizza : the bread wasn't fresh and the pizza was not up to the expectations. 1/5<br/><br/>6- Sesme Burger with Cheese: for the price of 280 it just doesn't make any sense. The bread was again dry and the Patty wasn't fresh. It was so bad that I had to return it. 0/5<br/><br/>7- Big Bite Nachos : it was just ready made nachos served with beans and cheese. The salsa was nice (5/5 for that)<br/>But over all it was 3/5<br/><br/>8-Chocolate Ball: it was tasty but it was served cold. Ask them to warm it up. 4/5<br/><br/>9- Ultimate Chocolate Pastry : had a very weird smell to it and just doesn't live up to it's name. The bread wasn't fresh and in most cases they used ready made products. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone for food. The place is really beautiful, the seating and the ambiance is really amazing.<br/>The food is very continental in taste as it majorly caters to the taste of westerner. <br/>If you are not from India it’s defiantly a must visit. The organic Himalayan rice is something you would enjoy. The shakes are really healthy and diet friendly. A must visit if you swinging up.

One of my favourite places to be when ever I travel to Rishikesh. The vibes of this place will win your heart and food will definitely make you wanna come back for more. I really enjoyed this place, awesome ambiance and good food.. one can spend great time with amazing view of hills and swimming pool. A must try place if you looking for vegan options and good beverages. I give this place five stars.. cosy and nice ambiance.

A beautiful cafe with lovely interiors along with healthy juices and smoothies. Who would not love to hangout and chill with such a warm Ambience and lovely view♡. One should definitely visit this place for their lovely combination of juices and smoothies.

It is a small place near tapovan where most of the crowd is of foreigners. It has potential to be a great hangout place however they need tot expand their menu.

It's a nice place to have a good quality time, great ambiance and atmosphere. The food was really appreciable and there presentation was amazing as well as they serve order on time without delaying. 😊 one must visit this place.

So me and 3 of my friends visited this place along with 2-3 beers. We sat outside as this place has indoor as well as outdoor seating arrangement. After somtime the manager, I guess, visited our table and vehemently denied us on the consumption of the same. Now I do reckon that we were in the wrong place and I was very willing to pull the beers down but the belligerent tone of the manager led me to leave the place with anguish and despair. If they cannot handle people with hospitality then what these people are even striving for! Verrryyyy unprofessional approach

we love to visit rishikesh as this place is full of peace and nature beauty, there are quite resturants also for good food but i always prefered pure soul, as this place is having lot of peace and good site scene, one should feel very relax after reaching though it is not easy to locate this place. We had pizza and sandwiches/ mouth watering aroma of carrot cake. overall good fit to budget,and good service.

One of the best cafes here..really neat.. silent..with a great view.. I would suggest people to go to this place atleast once. I love their sandwiches..

Finally decided to visit this place after getting mixed reviews from travellers. It’s a little tricky to find the way but the view is absolutely worth it. Very peaceful and serene place where one can spend time with friends, family or even alone. Organic food is made tasty. The only thing I wish which would have made this place more comfortable is serving food with a little smile on their faces. 😊😊

Pure soul is located in tapovan. It is not easy to locate this place as the location is quite absurd. But once you reach there it's quite peaceful and serene. I am glad we found this gem of a place. We ordered pizza and mojito, although the pizza wasn't that good but mojito was very refreshing. One should definitely try this place if you are looking for some quite alone time.

What I loved about this city is every place serves you fresh dishes, hence if you have to wait for your order to arrive, please be patient because you'll immerse in a delicious fooding experience that takes time! The multi grain pixza was a new dish we tried and it did not fall short of anything in terms of pleasing our taste buds! The smoothies were literally soul tonics and I cannot get over the mouth watering aroma of carrot cake & walnut pie! What a delightful dinner with comfortable and cozy sitting area (and easy on pocket ofcourse!)

The location of the cafe is superb. I really liked the sitting area. The menu includes organic options and many different dishes can be explored.

Food served here is healthy and organic. There are a lot of options for kids like pasteries, pizzas, pasta etc. Quality and quantity of food is good but the menu is overpriced compared to its competitors in the vicinity

The location is great, the cafe looks great, the food is not bad. But the waiter - so so rude. No customer service, he makes you feel like we are burdening him with business. It’s a pity because we would come back every day.

Had a great time here. It's got a beautiful view. Ordered from their "pick of the day" menu and it was scrumptious and fulfilling :D<br/>A place where you can maybe carry a book to read or catch up on some pending work or e-mails, by and large a quiet environment.<br/>I liked the furniture in the indoor seating section of the cafe (there's indoor and outdoor seating), it's low and you can comfortably stretch your legs to your heart's content. I guess that's the reason why I ended up spending QUITE some time here!<br/><br/>If you're in Rishikesh, it surely is a must visit.
