Review Little Buddha Cafe - Rishikesh

siddhartha srivastava
It’s one of the most crowded restaurants/cafe in rishikesh. The food is also great and the taste, quality and quantity is great. The place is always full as everyone comes here to have tasty dishes which is all kind of cuisine from Mexican, Italian, Chinese, Middle Eastern and Indian. So come prepared that you have to wait for min 30-45 min before getting seats. Parking here is almost not possible so come walking. The biggest issue here is the service. The servers are not very prompt and you have to ask for a thing many times before it’s addressed.

Somehow we had not been to this little gem of a cafe in all these years we have been to Rishikesh... Today we decided to give it a go... And I am so glad we did. Everything we ate was truly tasty - not Rishikesh tasty - like we are here in this little town this is the best we can get type tasty... The food was actually v good. The green juice and fresh strawberry lassi we started with was superb - no ice added - naturally cool. Moved on to nachos - nice ... Could be better. Then hummus and falafel which were brilliant. We had an avocado toast - the avocado was generous on the toast and quite scrumptious. The salad had too little dressing otherwise v good. The paneer pakoras were golden - fried to perfection. And our pizza was thin crust and delicious. And while we atw we watched the amazing view of the serene Ganga from our balcony table. The service was quick and very friendly. So what could have been better? The music - a little too loud and a better more thoughtful playlist would have really made this meal truly special. Would we come back? Yes of course! Definitely coming here again... And you should too - come early afternoon or early evening otherwise they get v v crowded. And you get a lovely view which you will totally miss at night.

Family restaurant with Stunning view of the Ganga River. Delicious food with large menu, vegetarian options, and reasonable prices; open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have fresh juices and many non alcoholic beverages. Salads are fresh with generous portions. Highly recommend. Keep in mind it has steep staircase coming up to the restaurant.

Good vibes. Very crowded. Waiting time 30-40 minutes for prime location. Situated on 2nd floor. Very famous and old cafe . Overall good experience and vibes. Foods taste is good for for options. Ordered food takes around 20-30 minutes to serve.good place to spend time with ganga view.

A Must Go place while Rishikesh Cafe Hopping. There are many seating on the sides which gives you a beautiful panoramic view of Ganga. Even if you didn't get a the windows seats, the bamboo cottage ambiance and light soothing music is worth spending your time. It's a place to relax and spend quite time. Food is delicious and service is good. There are Vegan options for everything, beverages to main course. Has to park on road side, difficult to find space, well there is a pay and park nearby.

Love this place!!! Varied delicous good food and drinks. Wonderful to relax alone, with friends or for meeting new people. Great priviledge view over Mother Ganga and for the Sunset. Confortable and cosy spot, amazing vibe and sound. For all this also tends to be a bit busy so enjoy drinks, all the vibe and the great welcoming staff there while you wait for your your tasty food.

Love the ambience but it's almost always crowded and you need to wait tables before you can get a good spot to eat :P There's a lot of room for improvement in terms of service but the food is great and the view of the Ganges and Lakshman Jhula at night is amazing. Must try their Falafel plate.

Buddha cafe is a small cafe on the first floor near to laxman jhula with good views of the river Ganga. They have a lot of continental dishes and salads . Huge list of juices and shakes . Location - It's on the main road near Laxman Jhula. Food - Food is good here and the menu is rich with many options . We have ordered fried rice and chilli paneer both taste good. We also ordered mixed fruit juice and cold coffee and both were freshly prepared. Ambience - You can enjoy your food with nice view of river Ganga . Sunset views from cafes are too good . They have used bamboo everywhere including ceiling of the restaurant which gives a nice authentic view . Cost - cost is a little higher . It will cost Rs 1000 for 2 people . Overall its a nice cafe to enjoy your food with scenic beauty of ganga and mountain.

The food was very good but you people should allow the dogs inside also they disturb a lot.

Great cafe with a great view to relax and enjoy your time there. What a pleasant experience they provide, you would surely want to visit here on your next trip.

The food is just AMAZING!!! SO YUMMY. The quality of the food was great and it completely filled me up with the quantity for a reasonable price. In any other city, the same food would cost way too much. The view and ambience was just the best. A direct view of river Ganges and the pure wind blowing at all times. Service was perfect too.

My friend and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Little Buddha Cafe, and it was an experience worth sharing. We both enjoyed a delicious plate of pasta and noodles, and we were delighted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the cafe. As visitors from Kerala, we were drawn to the flavors and the cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. The service was excellent, and the meal left us with a memorable impression. We'll certainly be returning to Little Buddha Cafe for more delectable moments and we are today’s last customer still they treat us great. Highly recommended

The place has good inflow of foreigners. This is small rooftop Cafe with the view of Laxman Jhula being its usp. Ordered burrito, falafel, pasta and cheese mushroom toast. The burrito and falafal were good, pasta and could have been better. Also tried their desserts, nothing great.

#LATEPOST

PLEASE DON'T VENTURE OUT UNTILL & UNLESS IT'S REQUIRED - STAY INDOORS & KEEP YOURSELF & EVERYONE AROUND YOU #SAFE 🙏

#LittleBudhhaCafe is a pretty popular destination for any tourist (specially foreigners) visiting #Laxmanjhula for it's wide array of various global cuisines (strictly vegetarian though) and for the breathtaking view of the Ganges and Rishikesh town.. Unfortunately, I dropped in during evening hence missed the morning view but it was still beautiful.. Service was pathetic and prices were on the higher side..

Didn't have much of an appetite for food (was tired of veg dishes actually 😅) hence just relished on the following:

#YaaraChocolate: I have no clue why they call it Yaara but it's basically hot chocolate with Nutella - run of the mill stuff - nothing extraordinary..

#JumboChocolateBall: Now, this one was the real deal - I had heard rave reviews about this dessert and being a chocoholic - had to try this out and thank god I did - outstanding chocolate dessert - it was pure #chocogasm - try the one served with icecream - adds on to the overall flavour..

My humble two cents: #VISIT only for the morning view of the Ganges and ofcourse for Jumbo Chocolate Ball with Icecream..

#RishikeshDiaries 🕺

Journey of an Epicurean Cine Trotter continues.. 👣

Thank you all for being a part of our Facebook family - Kolkata Food Trotters - please #LIKE & #FOLLOW our #PAGE as well - Kolkata Food Trotters ❤️

With a great influx of foreigners in this rooftop cafe, I presume that it's crowded all the year round.

Waited for the food or drinks to be served for over 1.5 hours. The waiter forgot to place the order and then wouldnt even apologize.

The service was so slow that we barely could eat two items from the menu!
Pizza verdure
Babaghanoush
Mango milkshake
Oreo Shake
Watermelon juice

It's with a fantastic view of the Laxman Jhula and the Ganga beneath.
Food was decent as well!
Noopur123
The restaurant's cleanliness was not up to the mark. The table covers were very dirty. The service was also very slow. I ordered a toasted veggies salad which took more than half an hour to be served. But the salad was very good.

The place has a great view, thats a USP of the place, they serve good hummus, avacado shake was good though i would prefer it to be a bit cold but it was warm, maybe thats the way they make it, i didnt ask. I had a pleasant noon, they cad upgrade their seating a bit, should work on the ambiance but i guess lack of it makes up with the view that this cafe has of ganga. In total i loved the place for its view and food

Whenever i visit rishikesh I come to this cafe, however service is getting worse day by day, we ordered salad with avocado , when we got salad it was completely missing from the plate when asked about this waiter was like ..ohh we don’t have avocado today very casually & not bothered to inform us while taking order, need to take care of hygiene in kitchen as it smells when u enter in cafe & u can see some mess in the kitchen as it’s in the starting of the cafe, have to be more efficient with the service I beleive as waiters are too casual or high headed I beleive, food is really good that’s why I keep going there but they should improve few things for sure.
Sushant Gawali
Their service is ver slow. Waited 1 hour for a pizza.

PATHETIC
Ordered Avocado shake, panner burger and ginger tea.
Burger had stale bread and fries were cold (stale as well). Took two efforts to get ginger tea wrong. Finally my friend ordered a green tea. Presentation of Yogi baba salad my friend ordered was poor. Veggies were cut like in a dhaba. 1 star is 1 more than they deserve.

Love the white souce pasta ,perfect creamy and cheesy if you really want to enhance the taste of the pasta than add on the bit oreganos don’t put chilly flex their chilly flex is handmade and spicy 🌶 so be aware .
2nd I tried creamy veggie sandwich-the sandwich stuffed with creamy veggies paste ,I really like their salad 🥗 which they gave us with sandwich .they also serve fries with sandwich but I still in double which oil they used to fried it
3rd I tried banana Nutella honey pancake -stuffed with banana slices and spreader Nutella and covered with floor pancake because its vegetarian pancake it was good but not appropriate to my egg made pancake

Probably the worst place I have ever visited in Rishikesh. Pathetic staff, Doesn’t believe in customer Services. I very politely asked for a cold coffee without ice (just cold milk, coffee and ice cream) and very rudely replied- that’s not possible cos we make just got hot milk and there are so many items in Rs.150, why do you need just cold coffee. I understand your place is quite hyped with lovely vibes but you need to maintain the standards. Thanks

Do visit this amazing place to calm your cravings , Value for Money , Recommended for people who prefer peace !

3 stars only for food.Rest everything is BAD! They don't cater to the Indians - wow, I mean in my own country, I'll have to beg for attention at a cafe. Damn #DevBhoomi! We ordered 2 dishes & 2 drinks and it arrived after an hour, post several reminders! The cafe was packed with Russians, and the staff was only serving to them. The food is good though, but I am definitely not visiting it again. Got no patience for food, bruh!

It's a must visit if you're in Rishikesh. this place has a Ganga river view, is located in the area called laxman jhula. The entrance is a little Shady and stinks, but once you've entered the place you'll forget everything. The food is great, you'll drown in the ambience. Almost every table here is rolling and smoking right there. I went here with a friend and we never realized how 3 hours passed there! #MustVisit

Service was very poor. Fans were not provided even after asking so many times. One order wasn’t provided even after multiple requests. Food was disappointing too.
We have been here before, and had loved the place back then. But this time it was absolutely disappointing.

After hearing so much about this place, we decided to give this a shot. The place is full of firangs and that is the only crowd they want. We were not being given a table as a free table was 'reserved' but a waiter came and asked us to sit and took our order. Ten minutes later, another waiter came asking us to vacate. We told him about the previous waiter and he left. We waited and waited, for 40 minutes for water and our order, soaked in the beautiful view this place has to offer and decided to go and find a place that serves food in addition to the view.

Recommendation- They discriminate between Indians and foreigners in their treatment and if you are in the former category, you can have the view and leave. Food isn't too great anyway (have been here once previously also).

0.5/ 5, the half mark is for the view.
Ode To Food Lords
Hell scary and suffocated place. The vibes there were not at all welcoming.
From my side it is a big No. They need to work on interior plus make it vibrant not shady please.

You guys should consider renaming this cafe as 'Highly Racist Cafe'.

Had visited this cafe with a lot of expectations sometime ago after reading some fantastic reviews. But this place didn't even live upto their own name. The staff should know how to value and treat their customers irrespective of their race, color and religion. The staff were so hostile. Racism was at peak. They didn't even attend us and we had to call them atleast 5 times. As the temperature was high, we had requested them to turn on the fan and they didn't even bother. We had to leave the place after waiting unattended for 25 minutes. People who flocked in after us specially non-Indians were treated with good hospitality unlike us. This behaviour and attitude is just appalling.

If you just want to get lost in your thoughts, never to be care about what is happening in the world or around you and you just want to sip a cup of coffee or an amazing meal and just want to see the clouds engulfing Himalayas like a curtain.. then you need to be here..
Rest you can watch it yourself as these pictures speaks thousand words.

Situated at the main Laxman jhula market. The place is really famous among backpackers. I have been here so many times, it would be partial if I just review 1 or 2 food items, the majority of food served here is good. Few seats here also gives you ganga view. The space is airy. Though the service is a bit slow but it's ok.
Cassandra Fuller
The view is amazing! The waiters are nice! The food is always great! Very low lighting for dinners, which gives it a chill vibe. Try the guacamole or fruit salad. If not, just try anything on their huge menu. I haven't tried anything I didn't like 😍

Well, we were on a cafe exploration spree and hence we came across this cute cafe which was recommended by the zostel we were staying in. And voila, this was the best place we had food in, be it the overlooking Ganga river view, the trippy decor or the lip-smacking food, just loved it!!
Shivangi Jain
A cafe which makes you feel like to visit it again with its attractive ambiance having a fancy theme of Hippie. It has unique blend of cuisines which attracts the hippie crowd obviously as well people who want to enjoy the awe-inspiring view of Ganges and Lakshman Jhoola.

I would add one thing that above all you can enjoy only when you got a chance to sit in the front open yard otherwise man, this place is really suffocating.
Talking about food, this place serves awesome delicacies which makes you drool. Give it a shot to its vegetable platter and i'm sure you won't regret it later.
Saumya Srivastava
A little overrated. The food was decent but the view definitely was worth visiting! We had pasta and pizza, pizza was very delicious compared to the pasta.
Hate to leave a bad review but if you want a good reputation you really need to step up your hygiene standards little Buddha... and improve on the blaze attitude from staff. While doing a yoga training in Rishikesh I left the school to eat at what looked like one of the best/healthiest spots to eat twice over the month and BOTH times I got very sick. The first time was manageable- a 24hr thing (also experienced by the friend I dined with) but the second time after having a smoothie I became violently ill to the point I had to miss my flight. After contacting my friend I’d dined with that day it was apparent she was the same- she’d been in hospital with it. It’s only in hindsight connecting the dots that I realise the initial sickness was from here too- and other people on the course who had dined here had suspiciously fallen ill the next day. The menu selection here is amazing and this place has potential to be awesome but you can’t rely on good reviews to keep good business. I really hope you take this seriously cause being this sick is awful and has lasting repercussions.

I love Everything about this little cosy cafe by the river Ganga. From food to ambuiance, amazing crowd and definitely the vibes. Recently during my trip to Rishikesh I encountered this wholesome cafe. With beautiful wooden interior and low dim lights makes it extraordinary and relaxing. As per food, I adore their wide range of varieties from middle Eastern to Nepali, indian, Chinese, Italian and everything was authentic. Something that I loved more about this place was their choice of condiments present at your table. Chilli sauce, Tamato sauce salt pepper, oregano, chilli flakes and balsamic vinegar. I mean whaaaaa? That was unbelievable. Moving on to what we've ordered.

1) Our special pizza, loaded with mushrooms, baby corn, olive, spinach and cheese. It was delightful.

2)Besciamella al funghi pasta. Super Creamy and loaded with cheese. Unbelievably satisfying.

3) Chilli potato. Nothing too fancy but still love it

4) Mix veg thukpa, in a cold chilly evening near river side, this hot bowl of thupka was a pure bless.

5) Mix veg momos, nothing extraordinary but love that sauce.

6) Chocolate, Strawberries, Mango, Oreo (individual shakes with ice cream) and cold coffee.
Ruchi
Must say it has a great view but they take like ages to serve your order. And they even forget that if you've ordered something. They need to be reminded again and again to get your order served. But yes once you get that it was worth waiting.
Rajat Khanna
A very over rated place, but worth visiting once, for the amazing view it offers of the Luxman Jhula. Try to go in evening and grab on the seats on the edge of the cafe and enjoy the atmosphere. I ordered Falafal Platter and it was pretty good.
Dal Makhani with some Indian Breads were good too. Dal was tasty.
A Paneer sizzler was average. Pretty bland and wouldn't try it again.
As_foodies
The cafe is located at a very good location with a perfect view of the river and the laxman jhula.
Service - 3/5
Food - 2/5
Ambience - 4/5

We visited the cafe during our trio to Rishikesh on the long weekend of good friday and experienced that the service is quite slow as expected may be because of the huge crowd.

Must recommend cafe.
Shaleen Multani
The little Buddha cafe is a must visit...a beautiful view to gaze upon, fresh cut vegetable to feast on and 2 separate menus for 2 different clientales. If you are an Indian and you wish to visit little Buddha cafe be prepared to pay 50% more than the foreigners seated at the table beside you. It's not only discriminatory but racism in it's worst form. Cheating your own fellow citizens and giving preferential treatment to foreigners is unacceptable.

On confronting the cashier we came across 2 stacks of menus with 2 different price lists. On further enquiry we were categorically lied to our faces that the menus were recently changed. We were taken by shock when we saw that they had 50 old menus with the lower prices versus 15 new menus with higher prices. Being cheated by in our own country by our own people was very upsetting and disappointing. #indiansbanbuddhacafe

Again another place with good view! I went here at night for dinner! Had veg noddles which were decent! Decent place with average food and good view! Lovely ambience and atmosphere!
Aneesha Roy
Very nice place food and staff wise.
Service is little time taking but the food that we get, is worth to wait for.
Their smoothies and juices are must try things.
We had mixed fruit juice and it was fresh and refreshing.
Their Indian menu is also of great taste; we had their Dal and Butter Panner; both are beyond expectations.
Price are also reasonable.
Rohit Madan
This place is unethically biased and the unwelcoming vibe is vibrant in the servicing staff. I discourage ordering Baba ganoosh , it's terrible. The treatment towards people who are Indians is just terrible. I understand the reputation of the place grew from outsiders but they should refuse serving us if they are too proud of serving only a certain audience. Waiters are brash, have a casual approach towards any problem you have and not worth tipping a single buck. Highly dissatisfied. I recommend The beatles cafe.
Kashiish👑
Wonderful location
Once visit is recommended if you are in Rishikesh
All mouthwatering dishes
Wait time is longer as too much crowd and people love to sit for longer hours then accepted
Value for money for sure :)
Try as much varieties you can as whatever I have tried was awesome and whatever I saw around me people are eating is damm tempting
View seats are not easy available as people love to grab seats
Enjoyed my Holi with delicious food!!!
Order
Special salad
Mash potatoes with onions and mushrooms
Pasta
Icecream with Fruits salad...

Saurabh Singh
Some dishes here are good and some are not upto mark but eatable. We order falafel platter which was really good and noodles were average. We also ordered the drinks which were horrible. The view from this cafe is awesome.
Gautami Naik
Overhyped and crowded place. One annoying thing is that these people care only about their foreign customers. Foreign tourists got all attention from the staff. Though we sat next to the counter, it took them a long time to take our order and to get it for us. We ordered mixed grilled vegetable platter and Quattro Stagioni. Both tasted OK and unlike the description, there was hardly any spinach in the pasta. Nothing special. Not worth going back.
San0106chit
Food is good but if you don't mind waiting more than an hour for your order to arrive, this is the place. The view of the ganga river is good from this place but i don't think I'll be going back here.
Food-Screwed
One of the Popular Cafe's in Hrishikesh, this place is a must go! Food is Delicious with a Beautiful Ganga View. Pizza here is a must try! Ambience is really nice, calm and cosy! Also it's located in the middle of a Market, so u can shop after u eat!
Aahana
The place was so calm and cozy it has an amazing and relaxing Ganges view... Talking about the food i liked the red pasta nd chillie paneer... And Coming to the desert section it looked so mouth watering but didn't taste like that
Yoganand
Very very overrated place, i dont find it very interesting. Even disappointed with the service too. The only thing i like about this place is the ambiance and music. So serene.

Tried the following :
Mixed vegetable platter
Toscana pasta

Mixed vegetable platter was pretty good. Pasta was very bad and i wouldve opted for a pizza. Pizzas are good at this place.
Anand V
The food was fantastic but the best part of the cafe was the ambience and location.
Lakshman Jhula right outside the window, the cafe is serene and a nice place to hang out and grab a bite.
Deepshikha Ghai
This place is just awesome. This is my favourite spot. You can enjoy view of Ganga river from the cafe. In love with this place. I visited rishikesh 3rd time because of this cafe. Their salads and virgin mojito is bliss. This place is true bliss!!
Brij
The place has a mesmerising view of the Ganges. If you are a backpacker and would like to explore food in the area. This is the best start for you. In my opinion, the food was just good. I had their margarita pizza along with lamonana and mint honey lemon tea. Unfortunately, most of the times you would end up waiting for the seat as the place is always packed and then you would have wait for the order since the here your order takes a while. If I compare if other cafe other their in Rishikesh. This place is expensive. Still, I would recommend you guys to check this place.

Visited Little Buddha cafe for dinner ... Dined with the amazing view of the river ganges.
Ambience was amazing with soft music playing in the background
Ordered some pancakes , enchiladas and pasta.. food was hygenic and delicious
Would recommend little Buddha cafe to people visiting Rishikesh for sure ✌🏻
Anirudh Gupta
A cozy little rooftop cafe with a nice river view. Visited this place with my friends, the place was lit and packed. The food was tasty, ordered momos, pizza, cold coffee and lemon soda. Was a little disappointed by the slow service.
Nishadh
Cozy little traveller’s cafe at the rooftop..there is nothing too special about this place although it’s the most popular one in Rishikesh.
The food portions are humongous, the only and probably the deciding factor for me was that the kitchen was placed right next to the washroom and you could peep in their kitchen and it looked really unhygienic
Ravinder Dhiman
Food was higenic. Busy place besides wonderful banks of Maa Ganga.

Fresh vegetables juice was a mix of different vegetables. Was served in a normal glass but quality wise it was great.

Special curry was tasting like a home made curry but chef style. It contained different exotic vegetables such as broccoli, baby corn, cinnamon etcetera.

Roti is not so soft as it appears to be. But eatable.

Veg farm pizza was a packing item. No oregano or sauces provided with it. Was scattered and lost freshness while reaching our hotel. But it still tasted heavenly. Despite being a thin crust it was filling up the stomach. Sauces used were unique in taste. Worth spending 400 inr.
HarshTyagi
The things i liked about this place top most is the 🌅 sunset view which you will love, when sitting in the cafe, another thing you will definitely love is the healthy food options, seriously some good healthy food, I personally love it i had a mix fruit pancake with a black coffee ☕️.Good place to visit at the evenings #rishikesh #littlebuddhacafe
Kunal Anand
The place has a very nice location, friendly staff and cozy seating.

The food I that I would recommend is Shakshuka and Spinach-Cheese momos. Iced Americano was my choice of drink but you will get fresh fruit juices as well. Ask them to recommend fresh juice as per availability of seasonal fruits.
Sanchit Mangal
Ambience and Ganga view is awesome at this place. We ordered pizza, pasta, noodles and Mushroom chilly. Food was well prepared and tasty. Pizza was thin crust and crunchy but they didn't serve this on time and it looses its warmth. Other food was also good but didn't have salt. On service front they are need drastic improvement.
Anju Grace
Went to this restaurant during this Dusshera which was also a long weekend. The food was very good, especially their Israeli and Mexican food. Their hummus, falafel and pita bread platter was delicious and freshly served, as was their Mexican breakfast.

However, my dissatisfaction with the restaurant was neither because of their food nor their ambience, but because of the attitude of the staff there.
There is a subtle racism that you experience from the moment you enter the restaurant. The best seats, the one with the view of the Ganga is only given to foreigners, the staff is way more hospitable to the foreign customers, be it in taking their orders or while serving the food. I often hear Indians describing such experiences when they go abroad, it is disappointing to see that we fail to ensure that our people are treated with equality in our own country.
Vikas Gupta
It's been long since I last visited this place. Known for its thin crust pizza this place started loosing it's charm due to its lousy furniture and really time taking service.
Komala Kanamarlapudi
This cafe took some walking to reach, situated on the other side of the jhula. Tucked away in the bylanes of Rishikesh amidst all the hustle and bustle.

The cafe is just about ok, gives you an amazing view of the river Ganges, that's the only USP of this place. Food wise had limited items, were average, the portion sizes are huge!

Don't expect much in terms of ambience or tables or chairs. Go for the view
Sarth Sadh
So as i was going on the list to explore top joints in rishikesh, i stumbled upon this. It is small and cosy joint ,too hyped. But yea, they make some very good and fresh food. The margarita pizza was one of its kind and probably the best margarita i have ever been through. Sipping through the shake with view of ganga, the breeze and some enchiladas. probably this is what they call LIFE..
For sure one must visit ..:)
Utsav Bahuguna
Well this place gave me a trans hit altogether.. the ambience being so intoxicating, the location (just by the banks of Ganges) being so calm, the crowd being so lively and the food definitely being too delicious for the taste buds to stop demanding more !!
I ate a lot and continued ordering as I was not willing to leave the place untill it was a final shutdown.
Worth a visit.
Divya Goel
The best place with an amazing ambiance ! I ll be falling short of words in praising the place it's snacks and everything .You must try this place once and experience the amazing food !
Dr. Aishwarya
Ambiance is amazing. The staff is friendly. But the food isn't that great. This restaurant is hugely popular with the tourists(mostly foreigners) and yet somehow the food is pretty average. This place is a bit over rated and over priced. What really pissed me off was that they let people smoke in there. Not cool. 3 stars only for the amazing Ganges view and cool staff. Please ban smoking inside the eatery.
Sharath Kumar
I had a lot of expectations with this place , ambience is the only good thing in this place.
Food and drink is overrated and also I didn't like the taste as well
Shivani
This place has amazing ambience with a view of the river Ganges and spiritual music and decor.
We went there for breakfast, the service was decent but the food was amazing with insane quantity. So when you order make sure you think before ordering two dishes for one person.
2D Entertainment
Most of the days by 3pm I reach Little Buddha.. order a cup of black tea/coffee and sit at the table near to the view of River Ganga!!!

Amazing feel !! Especially for your solo trip !!!
Cool and friendly staffs too
Gautam Thukral
Don’t go by the ambience, the food here tastes equally bad, ordered a Oreo Shake, Spinach and Mushroom Burger, Taco, and Arrabiata Pasta, amongst all just the Oreo Shake was bearable, pathetic service . In short simply poor, please avoid.
Heta Patel
The place has some amazing dishes like hummus, falafel, yak cheese sandwich, oreo shake..but the fail at some other dishes miserably.. really disliked their Mexican dishes and also Indian dishes.
The staff is non existent.. they will forget your orders or not bother to even come and take your order.
Richi
This place so quite hyped. The place is too crowded with no balcony seats left. The food we ordered was also okayish. Better to be in the less crowded places.
Smita Balani
Little Buddha Cafe is located right in the centre of the Laxman Jhula market on the main road itself. Most of the restaurants around laxman jhula have similar food choices and menu and Little Buddha is no different. However the taste is good and the staff is polite and friendly. They also have wifi here. The view of the ganges and the laxman jhula is beautiful from this place. They have both couch and table chair seating here, can accommodate large groups as well.
Gunjan Tiwari
When one visit Rishikesh, this place is a must visit. The place gives hippie vibes. It is almost always full so might be difficult to get seats easily but it's worth it. I have tried different dishes like alle verdure pizza, arabitta pasta, mint mocktail, Nachos and noodles. Trust me everything is delicious.

The hippie life requires a beautiful stop , with a river view , and this is what Little Buddha Cafe offers! Picturesque and offering peace, this cafe has a great kitchen!
We tried Lemon Nana , a drink infused with citrus lemon and mint hints! This drink will DEFINITELY chill you to the core on a summery/humid day. Next up was Oreo Shake with whipped icecream which had traces of nutella , oreo and loads of great flavor.
Both the shakes were given in big tumblers and ample quantity. Loved the service!
The only downside being no ac/ no fans as the electricity wasn't there so this cafe will offer you it's best capability on a rainy day or a wintery afternoon.
Cheers!🍸❤️

A small cafe, reasonable rate, quality and quantity at same time. Little Buddha special noodle is my favourite. You can have variety of dishes here including Israeli cuisine.

After an overnight bus journey, to treat our bellies with the amazing food from this place was the best decision! I couldn't take many pictures of the food we ordered because I was enthralled by the view- the place overlooked the banks of Ganga and the natural breeze calms your tired body. The food looked and smelled so good that we dug into the plates as soon as it arrived! We ordered the Irish salad filled with farm fresh veggies, tortilla chips with guacamole and gnocchi. And everything was so fresh and delicious (I taste it all while typing this!) A must visit!

This place is located in the market and is the most popular cafe due to its amazing view. The mesmerising view of the Ganges from the cafe makes you enjoy your food more. I along with my friends tried pasta, chocolate shake, oreo shake, nutella banana shake. The pasta was okay rest all was good. The mushroom spinach cheese burger, veg falafel and cottage cheese spinach momos were my favourite. The preparation of food is really good. They have a mutli-cuisine menu to try food from. The service is also good. The vibe of this place is warm and homely. Totally loved it.

This is a busy spot with a good atmosphere. Wide and good menu with most dishes good to excellent. A place you can definitely go with confidence of a good evening/lunch. Reliable.
But one can only enjoy the café either late evening or in monsoons or winters if you are going in summer afternoon it may make you irritated as this place is near the river bank and observes immense suns heat.
Coming to food everything was upto mark but due to warm weather we really enjoyed the crushed lemon ice and due to which I would rate it 4 or else I have only visited this place for its name..
Just a suggestion to the café owners, guys please install desert cooler it will really help..
