Review Mudra Cafe & Restaurant - Rishikesh

One the best places to visit if your are planning to go Lakshman jhula. Situated at the bank of Ganga with such a spectacular view one tip try to get the place on the above floor where the seating is on ground but the view is worth everything. Not only the view but the food is also amazing. We order a normal Chinese plater you can say fried rice and manchurian which was awesome , but we order on Arabian dish Falafel Al which is kind of a platter with hummus and pita bread this was also remarkably good. At last we order the normal ginger lemon honey tea which was the best to take after the food. The ambiance and the location is worth everything but the food is also worth considering and that too in a budget. At last just once try to visit there at the upper floor and you’ll automatically see the magic of that location.

Went to this restaurant after doing river rafting and cliff jump. Ordered Mango and Oreo Milkshake along with Bruschetta. It has a good view of river ganga and most important thing is cafes hippie ambiance. You just need to have good food along with good view and good vibes in life.

I went there several times and it was always a nice moment. The staff is really nice and welcoming, the food is tasty and served pretty quickly. A large choice for a reasonable price. It’s a really nice spot to eat or even just get a drink and chill near the Gange with a beautiful and relaxing view

Highly recommended place for visitors. The location is best if you are looking for romantic place. The food quality is also fine except few dishes. As soon as you cross lakshman jhula this place is on right side from the T section. The only problem i have was from the interior as it's not highfi but again it's best as per locality. Staff and owners are very friendly and try to make you happy and homely.

I really enjoyed this place. It's right by the Ganges and you can watch the people crossing the bride. Food was good. I really liked their fruit muesli. I also had a paneer dish which was very nice except for the naan which reminded me of pizza dough. The owner is very nice.

Celebrated my friends birthday there, we had a party of ten, and they were able to accommodate us comfortably in a room farther back from the entrance with floor seating. They provided bolsters to sit on, and most of us found it quite comfortable. They also provide chair seating in other parts of the cafe. Beautiful view of the Ganga (Ganges) river as well as Laxman Jhula, with the path to the cafe ending at the river, where you could easily dip your toes in (but not safe for swimming). The food was quite good! Not the best food I’ve had in India, but easily 7 or 8 out of 10. Good price & portion size too. Our group got to the cafe around 8:30pm and stayed past closing. They gently informed us that they were closing, but were never rude nor did we ever feel like we were getting rushed out the door. Big thanks to the staff for their patience & understanding.

This colourful spot is absolutely perfect for relaxing in the cool mountain breeze on the banks of Mother Ganga. It is literally situated in the shadow of the famous Laksman Jula. The food is pretty good. The chai is very hot. And the entrance to the restaurant is opposite a small shrine at the top of the ghat, with stairs down to the water. So it really is great for puja (prayers) and a bite to eat. ;-)

Amazing Israeli, Indian, Chinese, Italian and Continental food. Courteous staff and Ganga's view is icing on the cake. The sitting on the 1st floor gives clear view of the Ganges and the Laxman jhula lites up in evening and resembles the Golden Gate Brigde. A must go to Restaurant...!!

Ordered a giant burrto from their menu and I wasn't disappointed at all! Food was very delicious, the restaurant was very empty on Friday at 6pm, and we sat upstairs overlooking the river. This is the best place for people watching, monkey watching, cow watching, and scooter watching as everyone tries to fit across the bridge. It's dinner and a show here!
