Review Shanti Shanti Cafe - Rishikesh

She's a cute hidden gem of a spot, specifically catered towards foreigners and tourists. Unfortunately, the staff seems to socialize with them more than the locals. Food is okay, but presentation is good. The view of the Ganga is lovely!

This establishment is a radiant haven for devotees of Sanatana Dharma. It's evident that the creators have poured their heart and soul into every detail, crafting a sanctuary of profound significance. The ambiance here is a sight to behold, with captivating views both inside and outside the premises. It's a place that truly resonates with the spirit of Sanatana, inviting all to experience its luminous charm and the dedication evident in its design.

OK so not much I can say except WOW absolutely wow. The views are breathtaking, the ambience of the cafe serene, the ginger honey lemon drink great. The avocado sandwich was yum, we dint eat much today. Finding the venue was a bit challenging but def worth it. Have a blessed relaxed time. P.s you can buy gorgeous crystals and bracelets from Shivani.

This place has lively vibe & one can enjoy live music in evenings. You can really immerse yourselves in Shiva music. They serve great pancakes however the service is really slow.

We visited this on weekday and found a cozy place to have dinner. It has got a good river view, although it was dark but the view was great. We ordered Noodles, Chilly Mushroom and Mushroom hummus roll, everything was good. You need to climb a bit to reach this place, also there is a paid parking very close to it.

We found this cafe on the way down to lakshman jhula road. It’s a hidden gem. The vibes are pure bliss. The food options are really healthy, has the best watermelon juice and shanti shanti platter( consisted of rice and sauted vegetables). The fries were really bad but apart from that everything was good. The view of the ganges is amazing from the cafe. You can sit next to the window and enjoy your food. The ambience is great, service is also good. The prices are super reasonable. Worth every penny and the experience is ever lasting.

Love it’s Cozy atmosphere and great view. Was little misunderstanding with waiter ( I ordered lasagne and get served pasta), so had to wait bit more, but finally got what I asked for. Can’t say it was delicious, just ok.

Happened to visit this restaurant as we were passing by Laxman temple. A very cosy place with Indian styled sitting (baithak). What attracted us inside was the divine live music. The ambience is very beautiful with amazing Ganga views! Food choices are good, loved the Lasagne and the Peanut salad. On the last day of our trip we enjoyed the home style khichadi as well. Staff are very friendly and responsive, had a chat with the owner who came across as an extremely warm and humble person. The live music and the setting has left a lasting impression!!

As the name suggests Om Shanti Shanti....and it justifies. I haven't experienced such positive vibes inside a cafe, with peaceful atmosphere and great views. Food is pretty good at reasonable prices.

Hidden away down an alley behind the owners jewelry stand, this is a gem. You can hear the rapids of the Ganges out and over the balcony. Two levels offer plenty of low table cushion seating in a chill, beautiful atmosphere. Inexpensive, healthy food with must have Indian dishes. I had the Kandhai Paneer with a side of rice and raita and it was delicious. The Malai Kofta is also yummy. The staff is very kind.
