Review Secret Garden Cafe - Rishikesh

Nice environment, vibe and food. You’re always treated nice by the staff. Prices are a bit on the higher side. As a foreigner this is a great place to break the ice and chat with other foreigners since it’s a very popular place amongst the international crowd. After coming here a couple of times you’ll start recognising faces pretty quick. If you’re travelling solo and want to get to know some people, go here and to yoga classes 🙃

This was my favorite spot in Tapovan. The coffee is amazing and all the food dishes I tried were very tasty. The place has a nice outdoor seating area with cute furniture and details. They also have a chessboard that kept us entertained for hours. Highly recommend!

Aesthetic Ambience, Varied Menu, But Room for Improvement The place has a boasted a charming atmosphere, featuring both indoor and ample outdoor seating in a lovely garden setting. The overall ambience was inviting, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely afternoon or a cozy get-together with friends. The indoor seating area provided a pleasant experience, accompanied by a selection of delightful music that enhanced the ambiance. The outdoor seating area, adorned with captivating graffiti, added a unique touch to the cafe's aesthetics. The cafe's menu offered a wide range of options, catering to various culinary preferences. The presentation was visually appealing. Additionally, the cafe's acceptance of card payments added convenience and made transactions hassle-free. This cafe is perpetually crowded, and finding an open table can be a frustrating endeavor, especially during peak hours. It is advisable to visit during off-peak times to secure a seat promptly. Regrettably, during my visit, I encountered a hygiene concern that raised doubts about the cafe's cleanliness. I discovered a hair in my beverage, which was off-putting and compromised my confidence in the establishment's adherence to strict hygiene standards. This incident warrants attention from the cafe's management to ensure such issues are promptly addressed. In conclusion, this cafe offers an appealing ambiance, both indoors and outdoors, with an extensive menu to satisfy diverse tastes. Despite the positive aspects, the limited seating availability, higher prices, and hygiene incident are areas that need improvement. With attention to these issues, the cafe has the potential to provide an even more enjoyable experience for its customers.

I ordered the Garden Salad for 300 inr and it was well worth every penny. The ingredients were fresh and clean (organic greens, washed with mineral water), the portion size was large and the taste was well balanced. They streamline their operations by having customers order at the counter which I didn't mind at all besides feeling a little rushed since they are usually very busy and full during lunch hours. The person at the counter spoke English well and took my health requirements seriously to make adjustments to specific ingredients in my order. The setup was beautiful with a lot of open space and varied seatings (single/couple booth, table, large table, grass seats) with a view of the Himalayas. Lovely dining experience!

It's a good cafe with cheerful staff. We went for breakfast and ordered multiple dishes. I loved the adaptogenic smoothie and falafel. The portions are good. The ambience is cosy and music is too good. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. However indoors has limited tables. All payment modes are accepted.

Secret Garden was my go to cafe during my four days stay in Rishikesh. I would come here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The place is wide and spacious enough, located in the lap of nature away from the hustle bustle of the town. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting, open area where you can meditate or do yoga. The food here is delicious and the bakery items are worth trying. Every table has 2-3 charging points catering to your workation needs which I really loved about this place. You can choose to sit inside or outside in the open whatever makes you feel comfortable.
