Seriously THE BEST ITALIAN and vegetarian food you can find in Rishikesh, and possibly India. I ate pasta outside Italy and usually it left much to be desired, but Oliva (by Italian chef Marco Rivaroli) changed my mind - you CAN find fantastic Italian food and it's totally worth the trip to Rishikesh (Swiss Cottage area). The staff - is OUTSTANDING, special grazie, thank you and danevat to D.K., Hariom Sharma, Anoop, Bushan, Suraj Negi. Much much love!!!

I recently stayed at Bhandari Swiss Cottage for six weeks. Olivia Restaurant is part of the same complex. I ate there most days as the food was delicious, Indian and Italian food, prepared by Bhushan. And it felt like eating at home. Many thanks to Anup, Hari Om, Updesh and Rawath for great service and attention to detail.
In particular I enjoyed very much Spaghetti al pomodoro and Spaghetti al pesto, Thali and Dal fry. The fresh juices were really good and also masala chai...

Great resturant with cozy atmosphere, delicious food wich is freshly prepared, warm service, bonfire every evening with live music and random fun.

Lovely restaurant in a green courtyard. Several specialities froom smoothies to Indian and italian food. You have to try the « carbonara spaghetti » made by best chef Bhushan alias Paulo !

The food at Oliva Garden Restaurant is absolutely fantastic ... i hardly ate anywhere else and can only highly recommend it .... a mix of beauriful Indian & Italian dishes cooked by Cheff Bhushan and beautifully prepared by all the staff Hariom Abdesh and Harwath who looked after us so well ... thank you so much for making me and everyone feel so at home here ... ... The best thing at oliva's is the staff. They were very kind, we enjoyed chatting and getting orienter in Rishikesh. The food choice is large, fresh and well cooked.
It is a nice place with very friendly staff and great food. They have also live music almost every night. The garden is beautiful arranged, what makes the whole experience very pleasant.
Food is amazing (try Lasagna!) and good service. One star is missing because I was eating inside a couple of times and the personal likes to watch loud music videos (or video games?) on mobiles ....

Good place to hang out with friends and family. But they are expensive and provide more options for foreigners rather real Indian taste. Staff is well educated and friendly.
Green food. Try Italian breakfast. Also try carrot cake. It is a good place to sit with your friends and banter for hours
