Varr restaurant is located on AIIMS ROAD very near to AIIMS. The place has beautiful interiors . The parent company is ganga kinare . They serve thali options which includes all vegetarian dishes.i am not sure but I guess they are serving satvic foods. It's sort of a buffet but they serve you on table . It's a all you can eat concept. The price of thali per person right now is 1000 INR . Some unique dishes are here which include saunf water , smoky lassi . I liked these 2 very much . They have named the dishes on the various Prasad's given in Hindu temples all over India . If you have less appetite then it will be difficult for a person to eat everything so this to be borne in mind while visiting same . One should book in advance for reservation like on the same day as this was informed by the staff. Another thing is parking space is limited but manageable. Overall good experience . Keep smiling :)

I visited there with my friends. I really loved the traditional ambience (temple food) with 15+ dishes where each dish is inspired from the temples of India. If you are in Rishikesh, do explore this unique place. The taste of food is very good and the best part ,staff will do a arti of customer before serving the food which is unique in its own way. Highly recommend!!

Great experience, must visit places for food lovers. Would love to visit again. Only problem, they have only one type of plate each day. It not mentioned in the menu or website, came to know only after reaching the restaurant. I would have preferred another thali but had to be content with the available one. Little short of resources, in case of full capacity do expect delay in service. Food taste was very nice, smoked chach was too good. Take small portions and don't waste food.

Excellent place. It was a pleasent surprise. During a family visit to Rishikesh never expected to find such a unique novel place. Serving thali food - pure veg is normal but it was almost a vedik experience. Hand wash than चरणामृत with temple foods from all over India served with explanation & mantras . Beautiful decor interiors. No onions no garlic. Original tastes. Good sevice. Impressed with polite behaviour. Good team Mr. Sandeep Bhatt & Mr. Gulati. But not for those who want spicy oily food.

It was indeed a wonderful experience eating the Prasaadam of various temples at one place. The ambience and the Mahamrityunjaya shloka in the background gave a fulfilling experience. Have also asked them to include Prasads from Western India ie. Shreenathji, Dwarka, Dakor & Ambaji.

Firstly, the concept of the restaurant is very unique and well thought out. Everything from the theme of the restaurant to the menu speaks volumes about how well thought and executed this whole place is. The staff is polite, helpful, and well versed with the type of food they serve. The service is quick and elaborate. Now getting to the food, the Thali is absolutely a must try if you're visiting this place. Every item on the menu is perfectly cooked and served by a dedicated staff member, who also explains you what each item is called and where is it from. Overall, a must try place if you're into sattvik food from different places all over India.
