Though I am native of Salem , I didn’t go to this restaurant. After I saw a video on this restaurant in the you tube, I decided to visit . Yesterday night I went to this restaurant and had dinner . I took Idly and Ghee Rava Dosa . The taste of the sambar , chutneys, Ghee Rava Dosa and coffee still tingling in my tongue . Overall my ratings are :-
1. Service : Very good
2. Taste. : Fantastic
3. Cleanliness : Good
4. Price. : Reasonable
I heard that it is 63 years old restaurant which is near Salem Town Railway Station.

A good place to enjoy typical South Indian food. Ideal for dinner. The rava dosa is a must taste one

We have frequented this hotel as a Salemite for a couple decades 1980s and 1990s. Hence it is a nostalgia. Importantly, run well by a Keralite food Quality is good. No AC. Simple tables about 15 in number. If you are looking for neat, simple, a quick bite / food - place to go. Close to Salem Town Railway Station.

Excellent food but too busy, waited for more than 30 min, not waiting area also . But gives us a traditional food experience with low budget

This place has been there for ages. Simple breakfast place and food has consistently been good :)
Go for some excellent breakfast ! Idly, dosa with some awesome chutneys. Pongal is as good as it gets ! Always crowded ! Grab your food on a banana plantain , ambience is of a dhaba or a mess which it is but food is great !
