The prawn thali was 200 (10 to 12 pieces of rawa fried prawn) with unlimited curry... Extra rice Rs 15.... More importantly fish was fresh..... Typical home made food.... Refreshing... Ambiance don't expect anything..... The rating is purely on basis of food....

Guys do not go on the looks of this hotel. We did this mistake and ordered less food but once we tasted it, it was just awesome. Though the hotel looks old but the food is just amazing.
This place was once a crowd puller in 1990's upto 1999, l used to have my lunch. I had to wait for some time to get a seat.
But now I had visited this place to have dinner in 2019. And felt sad to see the condition of the place.
But the taste of surmai was just delicious as it was earlier.
This Small Joint is a Paisa Vasool for anyone who loves authentic home cooked food. The Fish (Surmai) Thali costs you ~180 and Veg Thali is 130. The Couple cooks the food and serves with much love. Highly Highly recommended.
PS- The place is moderately furnished. Please do not keep very high expecta
If you want to experience the best Malvani food on your way to Goa than you will find no better place than Hotel Gomantak.Also the pricing is relatively cheaper than it's competitors.I would suggest you to ask the staff to suggest you what to order in fish according to the availability.
