Please don't belive on negative comments, yes this place will have huge crowd on weekends. So please reach bit early if you are going on weekend. Food is Maamamiyaa.. Just awesome. No much spicy.. But taste is absolutely good. price are affordable prices.

Enjoyed a good lunch here. I've visited here before and ordered just appetizers. They are so good, a variety of options, especially for vegetarians. A mixed restaurant will not have so many options. Today we opted for Thali, both South Indian and Special and both were good and worth the price. The brownie for dessert was also delicious

Had a scrumptious lunch at Royal Reve Hotel. They have a couple meal combo for 1200₹ starting from Mocktail to Dessert. Spice garden is our go to place if we want to have some really good food. The Rasmali there is to die for, trust me you can’t just have one😋😋 we were busy eating so missed taking other food pics. If you are looking for vegetarian food would highly recommend. Have attended number of functions and organised one recently and never there is any compromise for the quality of food you get here.

It's Amazing Restaurant, as it's special for Vegetarians people, you can find good number of verities. Taste is wonderful and much better than what I expected. Quality of ingredients were fresh as you can feel it once you eat it. Staff is also good and supportive. Manager (Mittu) was very supportive and took care of our needs. Cost is bit high but it's worth because of quality. If you are looking for Veg and something special than routine items, you can enjoy here. It's a vallet parking so no need to worry about parking vehicles. In Hyderabad am much aware of Non-Vegetarian restaurants but it was a special day and was not about to have it So, visited this restaurant am very impressed. It's recently opened and wish to visit again for sure in future.

Great place for pure veg experience, a new menu has been introduced. Particularly loved the Button wada which were soft and crunchy at the same time. Continental, South Indian, Chinese, north Indian all the items were pretty good.

Was here to try out the lavish and scrumptious breakfast spread. Trust me they have huge number of options at affordable costs. Started with Tea, it was decent. Also had refreshing drinks like blushing beauty and hot recharge which tasted good. And then started having few of the top picks of breakfast like wada, button Idly, button wada, Plain dosa, salad dosa, maska masala dosa, paneer bhurji dosa, poori, uttapam, upma, tomato bath, seviyan upma. Every breakfast was top notch in its own flavour. Top pick was upma which had that tangy flavour and was best with 3 different chutneys and sambar which were served along. Poori with sabzi was also a great pick. Chutneys were grounded well and had perfect flavour. Along with south Indian tiffins, they also had sandwiches like aloo cheese sandwich and plain veg sandwich. The best one was aloo cheese 💕. Masala butter milk was also served chill after a good tummy full breakfast. There are also multiple dessert options. Got to try gajar ka halwa and baked rasmalai. Gajar ka halwa was a star dessert of that day. Do try out this place and try out the yummy vegetarian spread. They also have main course and thali options available.

Located : Near the Clock Tower/Sangeet Theater (Secunderabad) An appreciable lip smacking food for herbivorous, with quite a decent ambiance to gaze at while enjoying the food. The staffs here are very skillful and courteous. The interesting fact about the restaurant is they have quite number of lady staffs working there. Cheers to Royal Reve Hotel and this restaurant for giving opportunities to women at work in all possible fields. Food that was served to us : THE FIVE COURSE MEAL Soup Hot and Sour Soup – A Chinese cuisine’s soup that is known to be good for colds and upraise you instantly, just ask for some extra ginger if you have a nasty cold and enjoy its rousing flavor. Salad Hawaiian Salad – The lettuce , capsicum, pineapple and cheese whisked with the mayonnaise, sugar, reserved pineapple juice and pepper just made sense to the taste. It was so nice that I had to note down the details. Green Salad – It was raw in taste, green veggies lovers can hog this willingly. Appetizers Corn and Spinach Spring Roll – Just like any other spring roll, it tasted the same. Can have this for an quick appetizer. Paneer 65 – Now that’s what I would call a soul food. Not a cottage cheese fan yet the way the batter was marinated to the cubes and sauteed, I loved its taste to the core. Crispy Babycorn – Again a regular dish yet it stood by its name. It was crispy and well served. Main Course Sahi Paneer – The gravy wasn’t too thick or thin. It was really great, the texture was of some choice. Corn palak – Thankfully the palak wasn’t bitter, I liked its flavor. Kadai Veg – It was fairly spiced with right condiment. The veggies were well cooked and was treat to the eyes. Veg Fried Rice – It was made in a Chinese style, as the vegetables were well diced and sauteed. Pulao – Just like any other Veg Pulao, simple and nice. Veg Soft Noodles – My mother liked it the most. It was soft and mild in taste. Gobi ki Subzi – According to my mother it was well made, it wasn’t soggy at all. Desserts Malai Sandwich – Honestly to me this thing was absolutely new. And the way it was presented I wanted to savour the whole thing alone. Pineapple pastry – I loved it, it just melted in my mouth, the cream was cold and sponge was rightly soft and left pretty nice impression. Berry Mousse – It was cold and nice. Pista Chamcham – It was too sweet to my flavor buds, couldn’t enjoy it much. But it surely felt like made of fresh Chenna and zest of pista.

Spice Garden - A veg restaurant located at the basement of Hotel Royal Reve at Secunderabad. The restaurant can really boast about its alacarte menu and buffet.it has a huge buffet spread with an amalgamation of perfectly cooked dishes. Tiranga Panner,Dahi Bhalla and their mocktails Cranberry blossom were too good and complemented nicely with the starters. The main course one can go for their Sabzi Chaman Bahar ,Paneer Tikka Masala which goes nicely with their perfectly cooked Butter Naan and Kulcha.Sabzi Chaman Bahar has the right amount of spice in the gravy and Paneer tikka masala is also nicely done keeping the balance of the spices. They had a real twist in their desserts Spicy Rasgulla was a surprise for me.The innovation in the recipe came out nicely - leaving behind a mild spicy tangy aftertaste which is really was a surprise for me. Coffee infused Rashmalai and Paan infused Rashmalai - two other twist which can take sweet tooth people taste something heavenly. Both of them were perfectly curated without overpowering any of the flavours and the texture of the Rashmalai was also great!! Place with nice ambiance - and one of the best place to have sumptuous meal with your friends and family

The name in Google is misleading. Spice Garden is an in house vegetarian dining area of Royal Revv hotel. One of the finest vegetarian restaurant. Excellent food. All items of the thali are tasty which is rare. Keep it up
Kartik Garlapati
Been here after hearing many said one of the best veg restaurant. Ordered hot and sour soup which is very spicy and I loved it. Later ordered honey and chilli potato, the potato was glazing very rich with honey and the chili are so fresh we could complete the whole plate and nothing left. From the main course we ordered Masala Mafia, this one's a pasta with red sauce and all capsicums and olives too.

Went on Sunday 05Jan2020, order soup and starter , waited for more than half an hour and also asked the same to waiter for our order, he said it will be coming. We waited for 30 minutes and left the restaurant as food was not coming. Soup is the basic item which will not take 30 minutes to be served very bad experience we had.

Went for the buffet here, a reasonable price.
The starters were good. The main course didn't have a lot of variety. And the food didn't taste that great.

Food is excellent. The taste, quality, portion size and the presentation of food is truly worth it. The restaurant Manager MR. Ajeet Mr. Sanjay were absolutely helpful and best at their service. Would love to eat here again. Overall a very good experience.

Visited this place for dinner with family after seeing 4 + rating.
Unfortunately, had a horrible experience.
Found cockroaches wandering around my table.
Tried informing the staff but they looked uninterested.
Will never visit this place again.

Took my family for a Veg buffet last night Nov 19th. Their Curd rice bowl set up in the buffet had a cockroach. I called and appraised the manager. Politely. Asked him to get his restaurant’s overall quality and pest control checked.

Even after reserving the table they give preference to people who choose buffet. They keep you waiting if you ask for ala carte. We haven’t got the table even half an hour after the booking time. Waste of time

Royal Reve Hotel, located in Secunderabad, has specialised restaurants and cafes under its wings.
With decently designed elegant decors, this place recently celebrated it 7th anniversary and we also got a chance to taste their variety of vegetarian exquisiteness with the whole group of friends. This place definitely provides a wide varite with their everyday changing buffet menu and diverse Ala-Carte menu.

Starting with some thirst quenching mocktails like- Berry Blast, Cranberry Blossom, Virgin Mojito and Strawberry Delight, we ordered for soups & salads such as- Garden Fresh Salad, Caesar Salad, Sprouted Beans Salad, Russian Salad and Sweet Corn soup. While some of our health-conscious friends enjoyed the aforementioned , others were quite ready to dig into appetizers- Tirangaa Paneer Tikka, Mongolean Paneer, Crispy Fried Babycorn, Paneer 65 and Makhmali Sheek Kebab along with items from live counter serving Indian Chaats- Gol Gappa and Dahi Vada. We were quite impressed when tasting Tirangaa Paneer Tikka and Dahi Vada (especially) because they both had just hit the bull's eye in terms of taste, texture and flavours. So we recommend you to definitely give it a try.

With our increased appetite, we moved on to main course placing an order for Indian gravy dishes- Veg Chatpat, Kadhai Paneer, Subzi Chaman Bahar, Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Fry, Dal Palak with Assorted Indian Breads and Veg Dum Biryani. Everything being cooked as per book rules, we were delighted to have- Kadhai Paneer and Paneer Tikka Masala as most of us are Paneer (Cottage Cheese) fans. But then Veg Dum Biryani really heated things up with its spice contents, being too high which made it difficult for us.

Well, then again there was not much to worry about as we were rescued by a surprisingly wide range of desserts coming in. Kala Jamun, Paan Chand Rasmalai, Coffee Rasmalai, Mirchi/Spicy Rasgulla, Malai Chamcham and Chocolate Cake helped to mellow down everyone with its distinct aromas and tastes. Paan Chand Rasmalai, Coffee Rasmalai, and Mirchi/Spicy Rasgulla proved to innovative in their own way. Although the tingling spiciness in Mirchi Rasgulla could have been improved but it was definitely a good attempt.

Must Trys- Tirangaa Paneer Tikka (our favourite), Hara Bhara Kebab and Makhmali Paneer are quite the popular items in the restaurant. In Chinese, Paneer 65, Crispy Babycorn, Mongolian Paneer are evergreen and famous.

One more good news to all my vegetarian followers out there- Keep an eye on this place as they are soon coming up with some changes in their menu in a couple of months. Since India's one of the biggest festival, Durga Puja (Dusshera), is just right around the corner, the restaurant is gearing up to amaze you with some of Bengali veg dishes and huge variety of desserts. Our taste-o-meter would like to rate them as the following-

Food- 4.7/5
Ambience- 4.8/5
Staff- 5/5
Service- 5/5

Overall- 4.9/5

For more updates follow us on Instagram- @curiousfoodieswanderlust and for a detailed review visit- curiousfoodieswanderlust.home.blog

If there is one notable diet-trend that has taken the world by storm in the recent time is the ascent in the number of people moving towards vegetarianism globally. While the trend has only just picked up globally, a pure vegetarian selection of food has been a very essential component of Indian culture, there is no country as tightly coupled with vegetarianism as India. Meat and poultry lovers may take pleasure in their tasty delicacies in the fine-dine restaurants, but an effluence of vegetarian cuisines revolving around seasonal veggies, herbs, oils and grains has managed to keep the vegetarians happy too. Hyderabad, the land of Nawabs, is often considered as a paradise for non-vegetarians but the the vegans have a different story to tell. You might end up finding an outlet solely with veg delights which makes them excellent picks for pure vegetarian food enthusiasts in the city. On similiar lines, Spice Garden is a outlet which offers solely vegeterian delicacies. Its located right in the heart of the city of Hyderabad with close proximity to Parade Grounds, Secunderabad. Apart from the inviting homely ambience, it is the very courteous and welcoming staff that meets the eye. From Ala Care to Buffet, Spice Garden has both options to cater to with a huge range of vegeterian cuisines in house. Visited them a few days back for a lunch session and I was left astound with their dishes starting from Makhmali Seekh, Tiranga Paneer tikka, Crisy fried babycorn, dum biryani to some interesting chats like Pani Puri & Dahi Vada to some great sweet picks like Mirchi rasgulla, Paan rasmalai & Malai chamcham; all of which were neatly done. Moreover, they have got all sorts of dishes for all taste buds so that none can feel left out in terms of spice levels.
Here's presenting the list of dishes that were presented to us:
1. Cranberry blossom- A fine blend of cranberry with some vanilla ice-cream topped with strawberry gel & tulsi leaves gave us the needed start to our lunch session.
2. Berry blast Lemon - Blended Sweet berries served in amalgamation with lemon juice gave a detox effect as soon as we drank it.
3. Russian Salad - An exotic and delightful salad for your tastebuds which was packed with veggies like peas, carrots, french beans and potatoes coated with mayo, black pepper, salt and served with some garnishing.
4. Caeser Salad - This was tossed with fresh lettuce, a punch of flavor from tomatoes, black berries, and fresh cut apple parmesan cheese garnished with grated cheese served with crusty baked bread.
5. Sprouted Beans Salad - Delicious salad was prepared with srouted mung bean, chopped tomatoes, cucumber, onion, garnished with lime juice.
6. Tiranga Paneer Tikka - Paneer chunks marinated in three different kinds of spices e.g. spinach, cashew nuts, saffron etc., grilled to perfection were an absolute delight.
7. Mongolian Paneer - Paneer chunks tossed in sweet chilli sauce and flavored with chilli flakes and peanut powder with assorted veggies served with some salad.
8. Paneer 65 - Crispy fried paneer chunks tossed in a spicy masala gave that 65 masala touch however the masala could have been allowed to cook a bit more evenly.
9. Makhmali Seekh - Bread chunks in associated with veggies grilled on skewers & was served with salad dressing.
10. Veg Chatpat - A spicy dish prepared from assorted veggies tossed with basic Indian spices served in a gravy format garnished with cream.
11. Kadhai Paneer - Paneer chunks cooked in Onion-tomato based gravy with in-house masala garnished with red & yellow bell-pepper.
12. Subzi Chaman Bahar - Assorted veggies cooked in a gravy with in-house spices was served with rotis & naan.
13. Veg Dum Biryani - Biryani spices and vegetables mixed with basmati rice prepared by layering the biryani gravy and basmati rice served with Raita & Mirchi Salan.
14. Dal Palak - Toor Dal temperd with Palak tadka.
15. Dahi Vada - Vadas(Urad Dal fried dumplings) soaked in thick whipped yoghurt topped with spicy & swwet chutney was the star & an instant delight.
16. Coffee Rasmalai - A slight variation to the standard rasmalai but in this case prepared with milk, sugar and coffee flavour which was a nice one to savour on.
17. Paan Rasmalai - Another variation of rasmalai prepared from milk, sugar and betel leaves also was a good preparation.
18. Mirchi Rasgolla - A twist of taste to the widely accepted dessert, rasgulla, this was prepared by adding a light flavour of chillies in addition to the basic rasgulla. This variation of rasgulla left a bit spicy taste in our taste buds although it was listed in the dessert section which was even mind-boggling for us & a great offering.
19. Kela Jamun - Jamuns filled with saffron slow cooked & dipped in sugar solution was just the perfect dessert we could end our meal with.
Spice Garden is an amazing place to visit with family & friends alike for having a great time over a effusive full course meal. Overall, a great synthesis of authentic food, ambience and hospitality.

SPICE GARDEN has to be my new favorite vegetarian restaurant- all thanks to their lip smacking delicacies, superfast service, friendly staff and classy ambience!
All their items come with great quantity and quality!
My favorite dish here is the dahi balla- incredibly soft and delicious, with a perfect tint of sweet and tangy.
Must visit for all North Indian food lovers!
They’re known for their buffets.

What to order?- dahi balla, tiranga paneer tikka, mongolian paneer, crispy baby corn, cranberry blossom, garlic naan, daal palak, kadhai paneer, coffee rasmalai.

price💸- 4.5/5
ambience- 5/5
service- 5/5
The restaurant is located at the basement of Royal Reve Hotel at Secunderabad. When the general notion is good food is at Jubilee Hills n beyond than restaurants like Spice Garden are good enough to change the perception. The place is nicely decorated for a happy meal with your family and friends.Buzzling with crowd so better get your seats reserved before going here.

Has both ala carte and buffet option .The buffet spread is humungous and the food is outstanding .

We tried their salads -
1.Sprout salads- Yes they have kept healthy option for the health freaks.Fresh .
2.Caesar Salad-Creamy sauce with lots of veggies and yes they had my fav cherry tomato.

This were served alongside starters ,being veg they had wide collection of starters of Paneer

Mongolian Paneer is something I loved so much .Rightly spiced and it had a tangy taste too

The showstopper in their starter was Paneer Tiranga and Dahi Bhalla.
Paneer Tiranga - Paneer stuffed and is more like an open tri layer stuffing.Soft, succulent and enjoyable with their mocktails- Cranberry blossom.

Loved their Paneer Makhmali Sheek -panner kebab in skewers

For the main course loved their Dal Fry ,Sabzi Chaman Bahar ,Paneer Tikka Masala. All the items had the perfect balance of flavours and spices ,creamy which went nicely with their soft and succulent perfectly made Kulcha and Naans.
Loved their modest Aloo Zeera too

One can try their veg biryani alao which had perfect dash of garam masala, cinnamon and the other spices.Served with salan.

The last surprise is their deserts

Rashmalai - Mostly originated in Bengal an Indian cheese cake which is soft and lesa spongy than Rasgulla. They have made this complex dessert and offering in Coffee and Paan flavored.Something not to be missed where they have infused the flavours bao nicely and perfectly.

Spicy Rasgulla- Yes a conundrum rite !! But their innovation has come out nicely leaves behind a tangy and spicy tickle in the tongue.

Gulam Jamun -soft and nice.

Cake and their mousse was also nice. The coffee infused mouuse again they know how to fuse things and play with your tastebuds.

A perfect meal gets complete when you have the best and courteous staff .Prompt service and best staff makes the place for a nice lunch or dinner with friends n family.

Have visited this restaurant umpteen number of times have given them business like nobody else since it’s very close to my house in Hyderabad and it’s usp being a pure veg restaurant for the elders who are strict vegetarians.
Off late this restaurant has gone pathetic with absolutely no sense of hospitality. Cheap manager who will make sure that they would ruin your entire dining experience in a jiffy.
Visit this place at ur own risk and if ur confident enough to manage their sidey staff.
Food : is decent as long as u don’t order Chinese.. stick to Indian is my advice.

One of the fine vegan restaurants in the heart of the city, perfect amalgamation of exotic food, ambience and hospitality, We had a 20 members family get together for lunch buffet on a Sunday. Had a pretty good time savouring the delicious food. Speaking of food, starters were lip smacking, specially the panner manchuria, stuffed rolls and kebabas. The main course spread tasted pretty good covering Chinese, Italian and Indian cuisines along with live chat counter that remined of tasty street food, chat live counter was pretty good in serving piping hot tasty chats. All in all a great experience from time I had the reservation done over the phone, a day prior to our visit, until the payment of the bill... Last but not the least the managment went to an extra mile and discounted 2 of the 3 children buffet count from the total bill. I would recommend this place for all the veg foodies.

Manager doesn't really has manners, we ordered buffet which is unlimited reached there by 1pm and at 2pm manager asked us to leave by saying people are waiting and u cannot cross 1hrs time, where as I know buffet was unlimited and we were still eating.... But y don't they say sevice is really slow... And next waiter just bought the bill and asked us to pay and leave we did not even finish eating... Pathetic behavior and rude too... One star is also a lot for the behavior of the manager itself...
Prajwal
We tried the buffet..
Starters were good but could have been more better...
Main course was okay...
Not too many varities of desserts ...
Live counter tries to attract but ends up disappointing us with only 2 varities..
Ambience is okay..
Service has to be improved
Best item was dhai kachori

Good Veg Buffet. Has a decent buffet spread. Quick service and courteous staff. Not too heavy on the pocket. Centrally located and good choice in Secunderabad.

This the worst experience ever I had in table bookings.
They open the restaurant for table bookings and they confirm the booking via SMS, but when you reach the restaurant and ask for your table, they simply say wait fr 1hr. When I showed them the confirmation msg, they said we are not accepting such table bookings. For the first time in June 2nd, I thought due to crowd they were asking us to wait, but I wanted to test them again, so I booked on June 5th and the result is the same.

No respect to the customers, I heard from one of the manager saying **thiya to the other customer sitting little far away from us.

Interesting thing is, I ordered Schezwan Noodles but they got Schezwan fried rice and after questioning manager he appolozied us asked waiter to get noodles after sometime again he brought Schezwan rice. After little argument manager got us Schezwan noodles. It took merely 30mins in getting the dish we ordered.

Forgot to write a review but had been here for the mango festival two weeks back! Very bad service, everyone running here and there but unable to serve any dish! We were 5 and asked for the starters 20 times and all they could say is 5min 5min and even after one hour they got just 2pcs for 2 member of the family and the other 3 did not receive anything! Even after main course it was not served and all the deserts were over as well that too at 9pm! Again half of them did not receive the desserts as well and even found a thread in the dessert! Talk about proving enough quantity for a buffet! If you can't provide starters and desserts I think u should have not held the buffet! Cannot manage any order!

We visited it yesterday, after seeing some good reviews in zomato.

The place is good, and was jam packed as we visited it on a sunday peak hour.
Wait ended after appox 35min.

The owner of the restraunt was helpful and a nice guy to chat with.

Coming to food
We tried
Veg Manchurian - was good.
Veg spring rolls - were average.(actually i crave for those spring rolls which i used to get in a hotel in Abids opp santosh theatre in THE GOLDEN DEER very long ago)
Soups - were good.
kadai veg - was good minus the oil.
Malaikofta - below avg as koftas were hard.
Malsala kulcha - was big but below avg.

The quantity of straters and currys were good.(its like they serve Dil khol ke,perfect punjabi style).

Ambiance was good, all family crowd.

Waiters need to pull up their socks they i felt they were tired.

Next time? Yes.

We ordered chilly paneer from here. The quantity, taste and packing is upto the mark. Paneer is soft and it comes with salad too. I had ordered veg biryani earlier and it was good. Overall a good experience.

The service is horrible, the waiters are rude and unhelpful. Visited on a Friday night and despite not many people in the restaurant they were unable to take orders and serve properly

Opted dinner buffet. Hotel was celebrating mango festival
.Mango lassi was good. In appitazers paneer tikka was good. Aloo 65 just ok. Aam longi is good. Main Course was very basic with average taste.
Pani poori is very good.
There were 5 to 6 dessert that includes Icecream n Kulfy

I have visited many times to this place but first time took dinner buffet.

In my opinion opt ala carte . You will enjoy the food. Buffet will disappoint u.

Service is good service crew is very polite. Ambiance is appreciated.

One thing which i don't like serving soft drinks in bottles.

Firstly, the management make you wait for no reason, even though the tables are empty.Secondly, the staff do not obey your order. Not a place if you are looking for a decent service
Been to this place on Valentines day. Had opted for À la carte food rather than buffet. After reading good reviews and with high expectations had gone to this place but it disappointed me a lot due to the behavior of the staff and quality of food . Had ordered lemon coriander soup, it was having a smell which I can't explain and tangy taste of soup was too high as if 10 lemons were squeezed into the soup. Then had order pudina paneer tikka, which was good and tasty and quantity and quality was good. Then ordered crispy baby corn which was tasteless,I don't know whether they know how to cook crispy baby corn or not, frying in oil makes it crispy they think so . Then ordered Paneer majestic which was good and tasty along with had ordered Pudina paratha,Masala Kulcha and Kadai vegetable. Oil is free for this restaurant I think as in Kadai vegetable oil was floating as water in Ocean . Kulcha and paratha was good.3 star bcoz of paneer tikka, paneer Majestic and paratha and Kulcha. Other customers were unhappy and angry on the services provided by the restrurant and rude and arrogant behavior of the waiter staffs. Only One lady called Nazima, she was well versed how to behave with the customer and was happy with the service she provided to us. As she was junior she was helpless with the behavior of her senior. Manager Akhilesh was good and he understood the problems of the customers and he instantly replaced the waiters with some good behaving waiters.

Came here for lunch with family of 7 and took the buffet. For soup/starters we got a

Veg corn soup
Veg tikki
Bhutani veg
Panner tikka

And then we were served roti and naan and a plate of pani puri on the table with extremely slow service,We had options of panner do pyaza,A kofta looking dish and Mix veg curry,All the dishes tasted just fine.
For mains there was Noodles,Burnt Garlic rice,Biryani,Steam Rice with dal,Sambar,Rasam,Curd and curd rice.

There was a live chaat counter were no one was present to cook us any dish.

For Desserts there was Moong dal halwa,Dry fruit payasam,Soufflé and pineapple cake with house flys flying around and butterscotch and chocolate Ice cream.

The service staff was friendly and helpful but the services of on table services was really slow.

This place is getting a mere 2 stars from me just because of the hygiene of the place,Was shocked to see a cockroach running around the chefandish and lot of flies around the cake.

I have been two two veg places in the span of two weeks and loved them both..spice garden is one of them..came here for lunch buffet with mom and aunty and they both loved it as well!! Starters and chaat were really good the best being the aloo toast, with we could not get enough of and the American crispy corn..there was paneer also in starters...main course I really enjoyed here as everything tasted good..and the desserts were the cherry on the cake..I would like to specially thank the lady staff who helped me gift roses to my mom and aunty as a sweet gesture..felt like home here...do visit

I went there last Saturday for dinner. The veg buffet we had was very delicious. There was a lavish spread of all delicacies except the dessert section which we felt was below par. The only problem i faced there and would like the management to take notice of is the heavy weight cutlery offered. The over weight spoons were falling off the dish bowls. Apart from that everything about this restaurant was superb. All in all a 5star restaurant for vegetarian lovers in secbad.
Tl;dr version- Food 3.5/5. Service 2/5. Ambience 2/5.

Read ahead for the detailed review.

This visit on Wednesday afternoon was my second visit to Spice Garden, the previous experience being equally bad (in terms of service and ambience)

Starters - Paneer, veg makhmalli seekh and veg fritters.
The paneer was soft and had a good taste. The seekh had an overpowering Elaichi taste and was super dry. The fritters were overloaded with salt and were extra oily. The soup of some kind was super bland.

The salads included
1. Black eyed peas salad
2. Potato salad ( which was later replaced with papadi salad)
3. Regular garden cucumber, carrots, tomatoes and onions.

There were no prongs to help ourselves here. When I asked the steward, he told me to use the spoon. A few people even used their hands.

Main course had oriental, North Indian, South Indian and Chowpatty.
Nothing extravagant.
The Chowpatty had 3 items Pani puri, papadi chaat and beetroot cutlet.
The pani puri was surprisingly good. The pappadi in the chaat tasted like cardboard. The cutlet was a little oily but tasted fine.

The desserts' spread had few items but tasted good.

Service
The service was really really slow. There were only 3-4 severs in the restaurant and that probably slowed them to snail speed. It took them forever to serve us seconds of the starters as those weren't placed at the counter.
Infact, refilling the dishes at the counter and at our table took them atleast 20 minutes and me asking them 5 times. (Not kidding )

I had just finished having my dessert while my brother was still having his, and the server just comes up and hands over the bill. What is this supposed to mean?

And they also failed to provide us finger bowls.

Ambience

SpiceGarden by far has the worst ambience in any decently rated family place in Hyderabad. There were a group of 12-15 women adjacent to us and they were playing, talking and screaming at the top of their voices, thereby ruining a calm afternoon meal.

The ambience hasn't improved ever since. The service has just remained the same; Poor.

Overall, 3/5

I'd rate the whole experience mainly just for the food, given it's price at 362/- post taxes. The food is alright for the price.

I don't think I'd go back a third time anymore.

An appreciable lip smacking food for herbivorous, with quite a decent ambiance to gaze at while enjoying the food. The staffs here are very skillful and courteous. I found it interesting about the restaurant is they have quite number of lady staffs working there. Cheers to Royal Reve Hotel and this restaurant for giving opportunities to women at work in all possible fields.

Good food and ambience. Food also has many varieties and cuisines. Please include some more varieties in desserts section. Overall the experience was good and satisfying.

I would have expected a better experience. A friend had suggested this place as he liked the food the time he visited it. The food was really salty or didn't have salt at all. The service was bad. We had to wait a lot for the starters and the naan . After reminding them repeatedly they served the food. The worst part was that there was a fly in the cake. After complaining also they didn't bother to apologize or replace the same. I'm sure no one would have expected a pista barfi a cake and rasgulla as deserts . Instead of playing some good songs in a family restaurant they were playing edm tracks.

Visited this place for dinner on a weekend and to our horror they changed the menu of starters as we just started, since one of the starters was finished (I assume), had to wait over 20 mins for them to re-cook and serve us, staff not so responsive unless you complain, needs to work on hospitality

Great ambience, very good menu, friendly service and pocket friendly makes this place a great destination for food lovers.

Iam a vegetarian and we went on 7th September 2018 with family and cousins. Had buffet dinner. Menu was great and enjoyed the food to the core. Great place to go for a vegetarian food and pocket friendly buffet

Nice Ambience. Good for people who want to go with family. Food is not good, no value for money. Pure veg restaurant so not a place for non veg people.

The ambiance is good and liked the food. Really liked the gobi Manchurian starter👍. But, can improve the service. For the very first time the starters were served very quickly. But, I had to wait for 10mins for the repetition of the starter.

We were here first time searching on zomato. Pleasantly surprised to see a palce with very good ambiance. The real thing unfolded as we started our buffet meal. Starters, soups, main course meal and the desserts were very in large number to choose and unbelievably very good. Services of krishna and risuk were excellent. Only one point I would add. While the starters were served at the table, the quantities were little more than the intended.

Worst is probably the apt word to describe the dining experience we had that too with total of 12 family members accompanying me. To start with the soup it felt like cold drink rather than the traditional hot soup, each starters took a minimum of 15 min each to come that too upon following with the waiter, all though some of the main course was good in taste but had to scrapped from the bottom of the vessels as there was no one to replace it and the lastly desert which eventually came after again constantly asking the supervisor all in all it is the last time I hope and really disappointing Also this was the second time we have faced the same experience.
