Review Golden Bakery - Secunderabad

We bought bread, this place is famous for its bread for 'Double ka Meetha" hyderabadi special. Each loaf is of 1kg and costs Rs. 100. Their plum cakes also are very tasty.

The location was in very prime area, the prices are very reasonable and we get most of the bakery items here manufactured behind the store it self, we get the fresh items here

Ordered our hyderabad ka own Rich plum cake from Golden bakery... my bro was prompt and superfast in accepting the order...As promised delivered before the scheduled time. Let's describe our hero now... How do I praise this... Am short of words...loved the flavour, tasted delicious, heavenly... The first look of the 1.5Kg piece was so inviting and mouth-watering. Totally in love with this...a part of this is going back to Bangalore with me....folks at work get ready to taste hamaara hyderabad ka Shaan...plum cake from Golden Bakery... Thanks again bro !!

Ohh I'm a regular afternoon chicken puff customer. They have changed a lot in last five years of time. One chacha is maintaining smooth customer care. God bless him. I ilike their products, fresh economic good care transaction excellent. Thumbs 👍

The original Golden Bakery with the original taste, at peak hours the management & staff behave like they are Kings and the customer is beggar. No proper response even if we tell them to fast as it's already late the cashier ask the customer to take back the money and other supporting staff become bouncer of a pub to throw us out of the premises. Dear Sir last week a day before Shab e barat at 7-8 pm, I came for meethe ki roti and simply to cut the bread into slices but the cashier told me its not possible and ask me to take the cash, when I said if its doesn't done why didn't u told me the support staff angerly told me to walkout. But as a businessmen I understand at that time most of the old bakeries of the city is not doing the bread into slices may be due to festival time, I realize at that time about the situation. And thanking you for serving us the most delicious bakery items in Hyderabad city, specially your Plum cake and coconut biscuits.

Too much of rush. Staff unable to cater.

Many are familiar with this bakery as it is near to rathefail bustop and secundrabad station..I been visiting this place from past 20 years.. The taste of the confectionery is unique and fresh.. You may not get a cool cake here..but the traditional cakes, fruits rusk biscuits and Dilkush here are worth a try ..all at a decent price. Do give it a try..

Decent place for small bakery items

Old is Gold! Golden Bakery If anyone wants to taste authentic bakery food- Must visit the place! You should visit around 3:30 pm to get the freshly made puffs and other items not many on their menu though but whatever they have is the best of the city! Not to mention you’ll be greeted by a humble Chacha :) you truly make us feel what a customer experience is! Always smiling...keep smiling!

It has generous amount of raisins which makes it a treat to eat.. The cake isn't very tough and the texture is spongy.. Heard a lot about the famous rich plum cake that they sell and got it last week. To my horror I found sand in the cake. Don't know if I was unlucky or if others have experienced this as well but hope the management sorts it out soon as this is very unhygienic and not something I'd expect from such an old bakery.

Got the rich plum cake from Golden Bakery during Christmas and loved it. Also told all my friends that they should definitely try it and that it was the best plum cake I'd had in recent times.<br/><br/>But.... we got the same "Rich Plum Cake" from Golden Bakery last week and I kid you not, it was THE WORST PLUM cake I've ever had. It was super dry, but that was the least of the problems. It had sand in almost all of it as well as a big stone as a bonus. The only thing it was rich in, was sand. We had to throw away all of it. <br/><br/>After this experience, I'd never even go near that horrible cake even if it were given free to me, let alone go all the way to Secunderabad to get it.

I'm an egg fanatic. If the egg puff tastes good, I'm happy. I've stopped by Golden Bakery many times when I'm at the Railway Station Road. They do have a lot of other products on display, all baked fresh and golden. And their egg puff is very soft, tender and melt in the mouth. What I like about most of their puffs in that they don't have a LOT of the filo pastry layers and a minute quantity of the filling - which can spoil your taste. The proportion is very balanced. Hope this humble little place stays on for the next 100 years. :)

The Golden Bakery is one of the oldest and most popular Legendary bakery in secunderabad this is an iconic bakery located in between Secunderabad railway station and the Ratifile building. Amazing Osmania biscuits! One of the best that I ever had. Freshly baked and warm. Far far better than Karachi.<br/>Not a very easy place to park if you have a 4 wheeler. A typical old timers bakery.
