Very nice taste and ambience is also very good. Staff are ok type. They don't have the water first after asking for water then they gave . They firstly told us for 2 chair table while other 2 people were sitting on 4 chair table after letting them then they allowed us to 4 chaired table. They were confused. So service is average. Otherwise everything is fine.

So finally Dined at Mukherjee's that I had wanted to visit for a long time and really had a fantastic experience. The ambience at the restaurant is truly awesome, with clean, very well-decorated, and meticulously maintained surroundings. The standout item for me was the Diamond Fish Fry - it was perfectly cooked, and the quality was top-notch. The biryani was not only delicious but also came in a generous portion, had both the chicken and mutton biriyani. We also ordered Basanti Pulao, Chicken Tangri Curry and Chicken Tikka Masala, these were also delicious. The service was satisfactory, making it a great overall dining experience. I, like many others will highly recommend trying the Diamond Fish Fry as well at Mukherjee's! We were 6persons in total and the total costing was around 4500bucks.

Situated near Battala Serampore. A premium restaurant for spending time with friends and family. The behaviour of the staff is nice. The ambience was top notch. Food was too good. We tried Chicken Tikka kabab and Chicken Reshmi Kabab as starters. In the main course, we had Mutton Biriyani, Chicken Chaap and Butter Naan. All the food items were too good. Quantity and quality both were nice.

The vintage vibe of this fine dining restaurant is what coerces me here always. The colonial architecture of this restaurant is no less than a masterpiece, needless to say. I’ve had mutton biryani and chicken chap. The mutton pieces were extremely succulent, so much so, that it was falling off the bone. The rice was extremely light and fluffy. The potato was smooth too. Now coming to the chicken chap, it was one of the most tender pieces I’ve had. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place to have biryani and chap with your near and dear ones!

One of the best place for non vegetarians. Their ambiance is up to mark so is their food. You must try their Malai kebab and Reshmi Kebab. The mutton biryani was so good, it was light that you easily can eat it. You can have original vetki fry here. And as desert you must try their firni. Their behaviour was too good but try to avoid on any occasion. If you visit there on any occasion then you have to wait for two to four hours for getting a table.

One of the best restaurants amongst I have visited yet. It is 10min distance from Serampore station by toto. The atmosphere, internal decorations are amazing. Staff behaviour is also good. The best thing is they changed each table cloth after completion of each batch. Last but not the least the food quality is extremely awesome.. we have ordered their signature dish fish fry, chicken malai kebab, garlic naan, murg makhani mutton biryani and pista firni. Suitable place for small party and spending family time.

Atmosphere : Mukharjee's is an old Bengal theme restaurant. Visually it is very aesthetic, which makes you travel through the past era of Howrah & Kolkata. Not only did they match the whole setup of the place, but also they managed to get the best lighting for it. It plays a big role in the theme restaurants. Service: The service of the restaurant is very nice. They treat you very well and they know their kitchen very well. The service of the restaurant will make you feel like, you are in a 5-star restaurant. I don't know if they are a 5-star restaurant or not, but they will treat you like one. Food : Let's talk about the elephant in the room. The food. This was my first time in this restaurant. Like most others, I also ordered the most recommended options. Golden fish fry, Rashmi malai kebab, Mutton Biryani and Chicken chaap. I can tell you for sure, I was not disappointed at all. Every dish tested phenomenon as per the price. The fish fry was juicy and crunchy. The kebabs were very tasty and juicy. The Biryani was awesome. Better than most of the so called famous restaurants. You won't find your regular chicken chaap flavour in this dish, it is very unique in taste. Once you visit the place, I can assure you, you will visit again'. Time and money worth spent. Price : 1. Golden fish fry 245/- 2. Chicken reshmi malai kebab 290/- 3. Mutton Biryani 290/- 4. Chicken chaap 220/-

Full 5 starts. One of the few of my 5 star reviewed restaurants. Welcoming to see a Bengali restaurant to prepare Mughlai so well in this over-crowded space with stars like Arsalaan, Aminia, Dada Boudi. The ambience and service is top notch. Much better than some equally expensive restaurants of Kolkata. Well mannered table waiters, clean and well-decorated interiors. Unlike some well known restaurants Mukherjee's hygiene is well above the norm. The food is top notch too. We had Chicken Afghani Tangri Kabab, Mutton Special Biryani, Chicken Chaap, Butter Naan and Fresh Lime Soda. The tangri bone was split to allow for the juices to flow out into the tender chicken. The butter naan was cooked perfectly, not burnt at edges. The chicken chaap gravy was thick and mildly rich, unlike Aminia/ Arsalaan. The mutton biryani is closer in taste to Dada Boudi's, its light and the big chunk of mutton really reminds of Dada Boudi's mutton biryani. The meat was tender and juicy. The special biryani comes with 2 big sized potatoes as well. Both tangri kabab and biryani came with complimentary salads. The service is top notch again. The staff is well mannered and carries well etiquettes. Hygiene is well maintained with table cloth change with every new table. Accepts requests without hesitation. We carried out a mutton piece change to see how it goes and they obliged without hesitation. A definite visit if you can spare some time to make the effort of either driving down there or taking the public transport route. A word of warning though, the 4 wheeler parking scene is a bit difficult. There are no suitable parking spots nearby. If you drive around a bit you might stumble upon a vacant spot on the street. That's how I got lucky with my car.

Although it looks small from the outside, there is a good system inside. I have never seen such a big waiting room before. The interior is very tastefully decorated. Very good ambience. But weekend rush is very high, we had to wait about 45 minutes. Items that we ordered: 1. Golden Fried Fish Vetki (₹245) 2. Garlic Naan (₹80) 3. Chicken Chaap (₹220) 4. Mutton Biryani (₹290) The fish fry was extremely overpriced but stuffed with original Bhetki fillets. Test was good. The garlic naan and chicken chapa were also very good. Now coming to biryani, it was a very light biriyani, the piece of mutton was small to medium size, quantity was fair (not too much).

One of the best restaurants of Srerampore. The ambience of this restaurant is way too good. The waiting space is gorgeous and the lighting of the restaurant is superb. The waiter and other people giving service are very well mannered and well spoken. The biryani of this restaurant tastes good but the fish fry (the signature dish of the restaurant) is lip smacking. The food tastes really great and the price is within the reach of everyone. A must try for food lovers and highly recommended for everyone.

A place for the foodies who not only love food but also enjoy the ambience. The decadent old school luxurious restaurant type ambience is soothing. Food was very good but not excellent. The vetki fry was good but over priced. Butter naan was very good, rumali roti so so. Murg makhani was good but too oily. Masala cola was disappointing. Anyway it's ambience is superb. Food quality can be improved.

Visited here today itself..we were delighted by the welcoming way of staff, their professional behaviour and polite nature! There is a plenty of space for 2-wheelers parking but for 4-wheelers, there will be a little bit problem. The ambience inside of the restaurant was very royal, like an old and heritage-rich palace. And the most important part, food was just delicious, the way of presentation, quantity and lastly, quality... everything was totally fantastic!! Price is a bit on the upper side but considering the taste and quality, it's totally justifiable. Definitely recommended to visit.
