Review Dejavu - Shillong

Visited on 26 Aug 2023 for dinner and there was live music playing. The whole ambience was beautiful and full of positive vibes. We ordered Honey crispy chicken, chicken and veg momos, noodles and chicken drumsticks curry all were really tasty. The quantity that they offer is huge so order wisely. We had a lot of leftover which they very kindly packed for us. A good place to go with friends and family or even if u want a romantic dinner.

Went for an early dinner. The food is great. They served a complimentary starter. We are vegetarian so our server Dinakar suggested some good options.

What an amazing place it was, after a long time we had such good and authentic Chinese food. Everything was great, our server Mr. Deepankar served us very well. We really enjoyed our time here. I really loved the blueberry Cheesecake. The atmosphere was very good and happening. The best part of this place was the live music. Cost wise also it was very reasonable.

As recommend by the people we visited the food is good quantity is awesome. There is a slight difference in the taste of the food as compared to Mumbaikar food. The atmosphere is awesome and the service was also on time.

I think it is one of the best Chinese Restaurant in town. The atmosphere was cozy and with nice music on the weekends. The food was excellent. However, there is a bit of a rush in this restaurant, so you might want to reserve in advance.

Awesome food will tickle your taste buds for sure.. must have it while in Shillong, however, the service could have been little better. Also be mindful of parking as the restaurant doesn't have one.

It was a first timer for me along with 15 of us and i must say ,it was a fantastic one . The ambiance was lovely, the food was excellent but the icing on the cake were the staff. They were so courteous and well trained , specially Captain Javed, Gopal ,Nando n Mrinal, they made our dining experience a memorable one .

Lovely ambience great food and service from the staffs .Food taste was amazing.The restaurant is made beautifully using more of the Chinese items the crockery and just amazing .been here for the first time but we just loved it .must visit place if you are in shillong .

If you're searching for a fantastic Chinese restaurant in Shillong, look no further than "DejaVu". Recently, I visited here with my spouse and had an incredible dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly hospitable. The food quality and quantity both are superb for the price one pays. The Live Music playing in the background added to the overall experience, and sometimes, I even felt like I was sitting in London. Now, coming to the food, we ordered an array of dishes - veg steam momo, veg manchurian, and veg Singapore fried rice. All of the dishes were incredible, and we couldn't get enough! The steam momos were fantastic, and the sauces served with them complemented their flavor nicely. The veg manchurian was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even though we said we were sharing it, we were all fighting for the last piece! Additionally, the veg Singapore fried rice was another winner - the vegetables were cooked tenderly, and the flavor was spot on. To add to the experience even further, our server, Mr. Javed, did an excellent job of taking care of us throughout the meal. He was always polite, welcoming, and attentive to our needs, which made our dining experience enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic Chinese dining experience in Shillong. The reasonable prices, along with the fantastic ambiance and staff, make this restaurant stand out from all other Chinese restaurants in the city.

A great place to spend time. The service is quite slow but can understand because it's always full in capacity. The food is good and the service is excellent. The waiters are all helpful and knows the menu very well. Overall it was a good experience.

Loved this place. Everything was perfect.. Ambience, food, service. must try their Tom yum soup, fish chilli. but think twice before ordering chows and rice, as portion size is very huge, easily 3 people can share a rice or noodles.

A very nice Chinese restaurant in shillong. It's located in a police point and that's called laimu point. We tried some delicious Chinese foods there. Employees were very well behaved. The ambience was pretty much good. Also this place was not so crowded when we last visited. I suggest everyone visit it once.

I really love the food here. Personal favourite is Beijing chicken, Drums of heaven ,Pineapple and lemon rice. So good never thought I'd like Fruit flavoured Rice but it's really good. They could do better on cocktails though. LIIT wasn't lit enough,felt like something was missing.

Nice restaurant with good quality food and cosy ambiance. Live music is fantastic. Staff are cordial and professional. Cost of food is reasonable.

Dejavu is an amazing Chinese restaurant in Laitumkhra with great many options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians both. Visited it yesterday. Loved the ambience and got to experience the live music here which happens on weekend. Good singer too. Absolutely loved Dipankar's hospitality and food recommendations. He was simply great.
