Found this hidden gem after a very bad day at work and this cozy little place cheered me up quite a bit ❤️Very homely and relaxing. The attendants are super nice. They have a wide range of tea menu. I ordered the London Fog Tea Latte,it had this earthy smell which was so soothing. The chocolate waffles were good too 🫶 Will like to visit again soon!
Such a cozy spot, with great western breakfast. We enjoyed our iced teas as well.
They do not accept international cards, but they do accept Indian credit/debit cards. Loved that they had WiFi available, as well as books and a couple board games. This could be a nice spot to get some work done.
I was on a visit to Shillong for the Cherry Blossom Festival in November 2021, and was staying at Laitumkrah. I Google searched for nearby restaurants to have a quick breakfast and then go to Ward's Lake. I saw this restaurant nearby the place I was staying. With the help of Google Maps, I found the place after a bit of help from the locals.
It's a cute and cozy café. There are a couple of table and chairs for outdoor seating, too. I decided to sit inside. Since it was early morning, and so besides me there were two other customers. After scanning the menu, I ordered the usual. I like the decor of the place that included beautiful props placed all around the place.
I was searching for a cafe in Laitmukrah and found this quaint cafe behind a building. At first I saw only couple of tables and a small counter, however on further checking found a small room very beautifully and tastefully decorated which had a small cost couch, that's where we sat.
Service is very good as expected, ppl are in general very nice, polite and helpful. The lady who served me always had a smile in her face.
We had a Frittata, which was excellent, some local green tea - it was ok and thena local dessert which was fine too....
Overall I liked the noise less, cozy seating, comfort food kinda place.
I would definitely go back next time if I visit Shillong.

Their breakfast platters are very good and filling. I enjoyed their eggs benedicts a lot.
Good ambience. Great service. And a very refined polished menu. We tried almost every dish, none disappointed. Tea selection was great. 10/10 would recommend ❤️
An enchanting experience ! This bright and aesthetically brilliant joint serves 50 types of tea. The food they cook up is simply delighting. Impressive adherence to Covid prevention protocol. Attentive and courteous staff. Overall, a must visit destination in Shillong !!!

Beautiful place hidden in an alley at Laimu. Nice variety of teas, highly recommend the Urlong black tea from Meghalaya and their home-made cakes. You can also read a book or play a board game while enjoying your tea and snacks.
A wonderful place to have breakfast. Something nice in the mornings for a change in Shillong which is short on breakfast options.
