Word of wise "Just never order salad here" The food is average but try to get a seat at the top floor near the window that's the only way to vasool ur Paisa. The view is really amazing.

The place is a vibe. Is bang on the mall road, right opposite to a picturesque police station. The yellow windows and interiors compliments The exterior and brings a calming feel to the whole place. Went there for breakfast and boy it was amazing. Tried chicken Hollandaise and it was worth every buck. The portions are massive and highly recommended. The people serving you understand the menu very well and are usually able to suggest great dishes and educate you on the same. Highly recommended when in Shimla.

Genuinely the best place we had our lunch . Our kid had the best hakka noodle 🍜. We ordered Rajma ,butter roti and lachcha Paratha . The bread was soft ,crispy and well cooked. Rajma and Pudina Chatney were home like . Service was good and fast too . Thanks a lot for making our lunch time pleasant.

We had pepperoni pizza, hummus falafal and pita and veg penn pink pasta, apple cinnamon tea, ginger lemon apple pie, chocolate fudge cake. It can't be any better than anywhere else. We sincerely wish Chef Arjun and Chef Sunny to keep serving such a sumptuous delectance. We were served by Anisha with warmth and grace. Very Best of Luck to team Wake and Bake Cafe.

Most worthwhile place to have your breakfast or your evening snack while you are travelling to Shimla. This place, exactly in the middle of the mall road Shimla, has an amazing view with the best crepes and garlic bread in town. The cozy seating space on upper floors offers amazing views from the window and one can sit and relax after walking on the busy mall road while sipping a hot cup of cappuccino or chai with finger licking, hygienic and freshly prepared meals. Must try : - Cappuccino and Cinnamon Chai (For those chilly wintery mornings or evenings!) - Cold coffee with ice cream (Ah! sunny noons!!) - Mushroom and cheese garlic bread (Toasties are fun!) - Hummus falafel pita platter (Hey mediterranean lovers!) - Banana Nutella crepe (Yummylicious! 😋) - Pizzas and Pastas (Not your regular cafe!) Recommended!

Genuinely an excellent mall road cafe with large windows that open opposite to the mayor's residence. Very sweet servers who make it all the more special. There are perhaps 3 tables and some more tables on a scenic small rooftop. The coffee was genuinely good and so was the food. Fresh, not too fussy and overachieving but rather keeping it simple and tasty. I had a great time sitting by the window, reading and having a treat with a coffee. Open till way beyond 10pm.

I loved this place ~ great food, lovely teas, and my favourite rooftop terrace in Shimla. Special mention for the sweetest waitress Winona who was super friendly and welcoming each time I visited. Highly recommend!

After a good run, time for breakfast. It had just opened as I entered and took my place beside the window. A small cozy cafe, with wood as the main theme. The staff is courteous and welcoming. As for the food, ordered a Middle Eastern breakfast comprising Shakshuka with Hummus and Pita. Both were good to say. And I absolutely loved the whipped mocha coffee. Definitely recommended to visit.

So visited this little cozy cafe in Mall road i would say the food was really good, we tried white sauce pasta , ice tea , flat bread pizza , carrot cake is a must try i would say! Such a friendly staff out there! Definitely worth a visit when you are in shimla!

I went back multiple times, the interiors have an alpine chalet feel to them (including steep staircases!) and the menu has a really good all day menu. One breakfast I had a peanut butter waffle and paid extra for fruit salad on top — incredibly filling. My fave dish was the chicken schnitzel with Parmentier style potatoes, it was as good as I’ve had in Europe. The apple pie is fab too, and you can ask for cream if you want. Good wifi as well. Highly recommend!

Perfect, quaint and cozy little Cafe with excellent food, service and view. Ordered a slice of freshly made delicious carrot cake along with coffee, it made our day. Special thanks to Aneesha for her services. She is friendly and made good cup of coffee for us.

This much-hyped cafĂ© is located in a building that offers a fine view of one of the most atmospheric stretches of the Mall. The cafĂ© spreads over several levels, each with only a handful of tables. We found space on the second floor, where there were three tables. Great view from the windows. The food is mostly American-European, with grills, burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and so on. There are also lighter snacks such as Mediterranean dishes; we ordered a falafel, hummus and pita platter, along with a cold coffee, an americano, and a virgin mojito. The drinks were fine, but the food was a mix of good and bad. The pita (which, honestly, didn’t really resemble pita), the hummus and tabbouleh were nice, but they forgot the falafel. When this was pointed out, they said they’d have the falafel made—but, ten minutes later (and we’d finished the rest of our food by then), the falafel still hadn’t come, so we got them to cancel it. Also, there was a very odd inclusion in the platter: a helping of some spicy raw mango dip that might have worked on a platter of tandoori items but was totally out of place on this Mediterranean platter.

Great food. Love the view. Nice, cozy & quiet cafe to sit and read a book with a cup of coffee. Service was great. Special thanks to Shubham for his hospitality. Love the food portion size. Visited two days in a row. Highly recommended.

It is a charming coffee shop located in the center of Mall Road that is definitely worth checking out. What makes it particularly special is the breathtaking view from the window seats, which allows you to comfortably sit and enjoy the serene surroundings for hours. While the food served at this spot is decent, it is not necessarily outstanding, and service may take a bit longer than expected. Furthermore, due to the small size of the venue, it can be slightly cramped at times. However, we highly recommend trying the hummus falafel with pita bread, as it is a standout dish that will leave you satisfied.

Food was awesome....we had penne pasta, carrot cake, walnut pie and latte. Entrance to this restaurant is a thin staircase that goes to 2 levels. We sat at level 2 enjoying nice food with good view of the mall road. It's a small restaurant so space is too tight and tables are too small. Staff is good and friendly.

Good cafe opposite the historic Shimla townhall. We ordered Veg Platter, Garlic bread toasties, tea and coffee. And the taste was great. The view is majestic. The cafe is a little congested space wise but it more than makes up for its taste and view.

We accidentally hopped on to this cafe after a failed search to find Himachali Rasoi. So after ditching the Himachali cuisine for a continental one, we ordered cheese toast, Chicken and Bacon Penne Pasta along with Chicken Schinztel. Each item was absolutely delicious and the portions were good enough for more than one person.

If I visit Shimla again, I will be looking forward to eat here again.
Two stars purely thanks to the staff here - not interested , talking between themselves, had to keep getting up from the table for them to notice us, not much in way of explaining the food and by and by next to no enthusiasm.

The place is either tight or cosy depending on your perspective - about 6 odd tables quite tightly packed. The terrace , there is one , can be dismissed since u need to go up very small stairs and then exit out of essentially a window - once done you find yourself in approx an 8 X 8 foot area largely meant for smokers, no chance of having a sit down meal here.

Coming to the food, we ordered - pizza, toasties, spaghetti white sauce and a ham and cheese sandwich. No complaints on the food, i was in fact impressed with the spaghetti - the bacon and the white sauce were quite good and i was not expecting the bacon to be that fresh but it was. What was disappointing was that instead of a side like garlic bread they served regular toast made from mass market breads and that is just plain cheap.

The toasties were nice as well, hot and just the right size and a perfect accompaniment to a rainy day. Drinks were average both in taste and portion sizes. Whether it is expensive or not would depend on what you ordered, for 290 i would consider the spaghetti to be good VFM , on the other hand a simple ham sandwich at 250 to be a little on the expensive side.

Will visit again for the food, knowing staff behavior it could always be abandoned for some other place. Owners need to pay more interest in how this is being run else i can guarantee that this would join a long list of places which closed their doors.

Pan cakes and coffee of this place is awesome in taste.

Loved the ambience of this place. Went here with my friends during our trip to shimla.
Their waffle is a must try, it was so yumm.
We also ordered mushroom, olives pizza which was delicious. Properly baked with good topping.
The service is quick and prices are quite reasonable.

This is a must-eat-here place in Shimla - I've been here every time I'm in Shimla (sometimes twice). Everything on the menu is lip-smacking (consistently) - just a great place for coffee, for dessert or for a meal.

Also, a very nice and cosy place, with a great view, attentive staff, a complete value for money. Two thumbs up.
House chicken soup: 4.2/5
Chicken minestrone soup: 4.5/5
Spaghetti aglio olio chicken: 4.5/5
Carrot cake: 5/5
Banoffee pie: 2.5/5
Chicken hollandaise:3.5/5
Hummus falafel and pita: 4/5
Will try the spaghetti in red sauce next time.

Soul food and amazing hummus 💜

Good food but very slow service. Although the food is worth the wait. Sandwiches and crepes were very good. Even the hot chocolate. Continental dishes were average in taste. Place is small and cosy. Generally there is always waiting at lunch time. However food is fresh.

Wake and Bake is a lovely spot for a bite to eat in a cozy and atmospheric setting. Let it be hot chocolate or carrot cake. Must visit ! Good place !

Pathetic service and extremely rude staff. We were a group of 15, quite excited to visit the cafe after the great reviews we'd heard. We waited for about 15-20 minutes for rooftop seating and in the meantime placed some of our food order. We were made to wait for over 1.5 hours for any of our orders to be delivered. We had to go down and ask them for our orders at least 3 times. Eventually, we decided to leave the place and the staff, a group of 7-8, almost got into a physical altercation with us. There was a heated argument and eventually the staff said rooftop seating is self service, something they never said during our 2 hours+ stay at the cafe. Extremely disappointed and wouldn't recommend if you are expecting quality service.
Jazzthebossbabe
This is a beautiful place to be at.
This cafe serves one of the bestest waffles in shimla.
I really like the way they served omlette
Jasmin Grewal
Amazing! Nice and Cozy ambience. They bring the authentic flavors to there customers. Let it be hot chocolate or carrot cake. Must visit ! Good place !

Surreal rooftop and superb Food

Awesome hummus with Pita bread and an even better hot chocolate coffee to accompany that.
The views from the rooftop are amazing. The place is small but has very boho-vibes.
We also loved the white sauce chicken pasta, waffles and wood fired thin crust pizza
APRAJITA SINGH
The place is located at the heart of Shimla. We had a Carrot cake which was fresh and tasty. Truly delighted my taste buds.
Kit kat shake taken was not at all a proper shake. I didn't like that at all.
Chocolate fudge cake with Vanilla ice pathetic.
Three stars to this over-hyped place.
Good luck to them. :)
Shailja Singh
I had high expectations from this place which was not fulfilled.
Looking at the price the dresserts were not upto the mark.
But i liked Apple pie which had a very subtle flavor of apple .
Mariahasan2
Horrible spaghetti red sauce the sauce was very watery and flavourless and the coffee was served cold and all in all the experience was totally spoiled and couldnt meet the expectations. The suggestion slip was also removed from the suggestion box
Divya Narayan Sharma
This cafe is overrated and the pasta they serve by the name of spaghetti is basically noodles. Red pasta sauce is very bad. Also the service is very slow .... the time when we wrote the suggestion it was removed from the suggestion box.
Yuvraj Yadav
I ordered for spaghetti red sauce the sauce was bland and watery noodles were served instead of spaghetti the quality is zero and it is just a waste of money coffee served was cold. None of the expectations were met infact i would suggest that this is a very awful place to visit

Wake & Bake is a good breakfast place in the heart of Shimla. They serve some great crepes and other breakfast dishes. It is also a great place to stop by for a cup of coffee, and dessert. Service can be a little slow. Grab a cup of coffee, and sit by the window that offers a view of the Shimla mall.

Food Review:

Hummus & Pita: I enjoyed this mezze platter with hummus, pita, and tabbouleh salad

Cheese, Spinach, & Mushroom Waffle: This dish tasted average

Apple Pie: I loved this

Recommended to all foodies

Must-try: Hummus & Pita, Apple Pie, Latte

----PLEASE DO NOT WASTE FOOD----

Love,
Riya

This place is awsmm. Location is perfect I.e. within the mail road. One of the best view one can have. Sitting is good. Food was good. We ordered
Carrot cake
Hot Chocolate milk
Coffee
Pasta
Garlic bread

Service and hospitality was very nice. Very genuine prices. Though hot chocolate was too sweet but still good and can be tried.
Soumya Mukherjee
Located at a very happening location, this is a small joint offering damn good continental delicacies..
The chicken cheese egg crepe tasted heavenly.
We tried the chicken cheese sandwich which was good as well.
Nothing to rave about the ambience..
If you have a penchant for continental dishes on the sweeter side, this place fits the bill perfectly!!
Great place if you get place :) ... the seats next to the window are awesome but you have to be lucky to get them. The food is nice, especially the pancakes and waffles.
Varun
It's a cute cafe with very good food
Do_bhukkad_
This is a good place. I tried here white sauce pasta and waffles which was very good and ambience and service is also very good.
Thejas Simon
Wake and Bake came as a recommendation from a friend I met in the way to Shimla. Although the recommendation was to try waffles and pan cakes, the middle eastern option on the menu really intrigued me. The Schnitzel Lafa I ordered was yummy. Very authentic and good quantity. The ambience of the place is lovely. There is a secret seating at the top. Do check it out.
Garima
Ambience is awesome. And the food is super good but some of itmes aren't that good. Like we ordered mix fizzy fruit juice but it was real juice serverd with soda. Although waffles and grill stuff is awesome.
Taruratika
Loved the place and the view from the cafe is to die for. MUST MUST MUST visit in evening with your bunch of freinda or even with your spouse or lover. Its peaceful. Do have their shakes. They are yummazing 😁 and don’t forget to have the apple pie cake.

Another hidden gem of the city. Wake & Bake they say it.
Ordered crepes(Nutella+banana) and (lemon juice, Nutella, creme and banana); chicken creme and herb sandwich; Creamy herb chicken; white sauce pasta.
Drilling over the food. This place is welcoming with charming service and insta worthy food. Akshit the concerned person has been very cooperative and suggested for the right taste. Woukd highly recommend this place whosoever is visiting Shimla.
Cheers the team and place.

A small cute little cafe located on the Mall Road Just above the Madame outlet..
It is a two storey cafe where the first stairs leads you to the first floor seating & the other stairs leads u to the second floor seating..they also have a tiny terrace at the top that gives you the view of Shimla
Ambience is Good,A good vibe place with cute corners & interiors..
Lucky if u get table with a window..feels awesome to have food with an amazing view
What disappointed me was that the staff doesn't bother to attend their customers, they took my order of one Margherita Pizza & later after half an hour he asks me abt which Pizza I ordered.. Pathetic service
It took abt 45 min for them to just deliver a Margerita Pizza
Taste of the Pizza was good it was served nice & freshly baked hot Pizza
Felt lovely to grab a Pizza bite watching the mesmerising view of Shimla Mall road outside the window
They need to improvise on their staff service
Sarthak
Unfortunately I had a pot experience with this place. Ignoring the customer service and sad ambiance, the food was just not edible.

The pizza that I ordered was more like bread slices filled with oil and oregano. The cold coffee was also upsetting.
Bhavya Dhingra
So I had ordered a pasta which compromised of oil and garlic mostly. The paneer pizza was also nothing closer to edible.

The management was not receptive towards feedback too. I would recommend to skip this one.
Manisha Sharma
A decent place with an amazing view and delicious food 👍. It's one of my most recommended places for coffee in Shimla. One can spend hours and hours just by sitting beside window towards the mall road.
Geeta Negi
This is supposed to be a very famous cafe, especially for the top view. We decided upon it due to a blogger's recommendation.
The ambience is okay but the outdoor seating is too compact and usually very busy, especially during dinner time. We waited for 45 minutes but finally had to let go because it was not even in a good condition and was a really small space.
We had BBQ chicken and cheese and mushroom garlic bread. The food was really tasty.
Overall it is a good cafe but not worth the hype.
I might try their crepes some time. They are supposed to be really good.
Jyotika Sharma
Small cute cafe with a view of the mall road!
We tried the strawberry tea here which was good!
The fruit crepe was average!
Chicken toasties were good but over priced!
Overall cute place to hangout!
Abhishek Choudhery
Loved loved this place and it’s vibe.

Been to the place two times in our three day stay.

We tried various coffees and teas and even Nutella Banana Maple Syrup waffle and it was yum.

Loved the window seat and got an amazing view of the crowd and the ridge. :)
Qainaaz Sen
The service has gone down the drain. Earlier it was a nice place to hang out but recently the servers have no manners and the service is really slow they will not bring the food together which causes some people to finish their food while the others of the same group are still waiting for their order
Kriti Kapoor
I was having really high expectations from this place. It's a gorgeous cafe undoubtedly.
But the food was not at all upto the mark.

I ordered one coffee which was for 110/ and I literally wasted my money.
It was just two sips of coffee and froth .

Along with it I ordered white sauce pasta which was fine quantity wise but was so bland .
Looked good but tasted really poor.

Couldn't try anything more after having such bad meal at this place. I will recommend you to visit this place for their crepes !
Have heard alot about it. Will try it for sure the next time.

Staff was also not bothered to attend their customers.
We had to call them several times.

Wanted to rate them 1/5 but as the view from this place was breathtaking as you go up .
So it's a 2/5 for me.
Kavya Gupta
Awful food . Awful packaging when it comes to takeaways which is what we did . And the taste including the ingredients were just stale and not fresh at all . Disappointing !
Aggarwalneha9
Extremely rude staff.. bad experience!
We ordered BBQ chicken.
The chicken pieces were extremely bland and an extremely sweet barbecue sauce was just smothered over it. When we called the waiter to point this out he said ma’am aise hi toh banta hai.. ab Kya chicken ko kaat ke flavour Andar daalen.. ! I insisted take it back. Coz I didn’t want to eat sugar coated boiled chicken. Waiter then sent his manager .. the manager arrived and said this is how bbq chicken is made..
We again requested them to change our dish and the manager said - aise toh apko koi dish achi nahi lagegi.. đŸ˜Č seriously?? I asked him if we should leave.. he then said aap veg le lo , we prepare chicken this way only!!
Piya Ghosh
Cozy place, staffs are helpful..view from the cafe is also good.
We ordered english breakfast 1.. items are fresh.. coffees were really great. But I found this place little expensive compare to other good cafes.
Amit Sharma
Food is ok ok but service is very poor . We had ordered the nuttella waffle however it took over an hour to get it served same happened with masala chai . Price is a little on higher side as well expected better service for amount paid
PB
We went to Wake & Bake.. cool place if u get a chance to sit @window side. Otherwise cramp sitting. Food is good, Price is slightly higher. We ordered cinnamon tea, mix fruits fizz drink, Nutella banana shake, cheese egg chicken Crape n apple Waffle.

Amazing food with probably the best vibe and ambience in town. The pizzas and hummus pita are to die for. The view from the terrace is plain and simple breathtaking. Would highly recommend. Don’t miss the amazingly decadent cakes.
Gourmisthan
Located middle of Mall Road. Lovely place to eat and feel the essence of Shimla. They have good variety of Italian and contentional food. Must a visit !
Rachna Lakhanpal
The food was as good as the view. I recommend that you go to wake and bake when the sun is just about to set and have a seat on the terrace to enjoy the view. The Banoffee pie was one of the best that I had, and I highly recommend it. The only problem I had was that the staff was rushing us.
Taleens
Average food that’s overpriced. The only saving grace are the staff that’s extremely polite. Food took for ever to come and very average in taste.
Anurag Chaudhuri
It is a small uniquely built place. Good view and ambience.
Ordered a few stuff and except the bbq chicken, rest all was good. The bbq sauce seemed more than enough burnt.
If you are in mall road, give this a visit
Aishwarya Mehrotra
It’s overpriced & the food is average. I did not relish their coffee & their service is damn slow.
The only thing captivating is the view & the cozy ambience. It’s not on my must visit list for shimla, you can look for better eateries, any day.
Cheers!!!
Pranav Goyal
WoW. What a brilliant cafe in the middle of Mall road in Shimla town. This is the type of place, one could spend hours sitting and watching the crowd go by from the windows high up.
Its a cute little place with a very exciting menu.

What we ordered:

-Coffee Shake : very well made

-Nutella Banana Crepe: outstanding. Full of both the ingredients and served hot

-Spinach Mushroom Cheese Waffle : took my breath away. I didn't know savory waffles would be so good. Must try this dish.

The service was good and the prices sre very very good too. A must visit cafe. Their desserts looked really nice although we did not try them
Sumit Wason
Strawberry shake, made out of real strawberries. There was hardly any reflection of any artificial essence. Wonderful and tasty cold coffee made out of freshly brewed coffee. Also their pizaa slices are value for money. 4 sqaured slices loaded with cheese and toppings.

A great experience. Keep up the good work
Asheesh Pal
Genuine Review: This is definitely a suer hyped cafe. The service is extremely slow and the basics are missing in the cafe. Tissues are missing on the table, cutlery provided is not as per the order size.

Food Quality: Very Oakish type

Fresh lime and lime related option is bad (Bitter) and they say: Bhaiya ismein toh ab kya karein. - "Now what can we do, limes are like this only." Order wait time - More than 1 hour, that too when there are very less or no customers.

Do not waste your time here! Find a better place.. #shimla #wakeandbake #bad

Wake & Bake
We visited is cafe on a rainy day in Shimla and it was like a shelter for us. Garlic bread with cheese
2. Hot coffee
3. Chocolate shake
4. Banana Nutella crepes

Food was really good and tasty. This is located just on mall road only so its easy to find location. Visited here during trip to shimla and had good meal. They have good variety of Italian and contentional food.
Must try white sauce pasta.

Restaurant amidst the Mall road of Shimla. It serves delicious food as well as slurping mocktails and mouth watering desserts. Variety of Italian, continental etc cuisines. It gives you the option to Make your own dishes with choice of your toppings. The infrastructure is good. We ordered pizza, pasta and sandwich. My favourite was the pasta. It has seating on two floors. The best table is this restaurant is the one which has a view of Mall road from the window. The price is also worth the food.
Taste-5/5
Staff-5/5
Ambience-4/5
Hygiene-4.5/5
Quality-4/5
A place located in mall road ,shimlĂ .
The place can be easily locate.
The ambience is good .
But it doesn't match the money they charge for food.
The service is also not good.
Avneet Sabharwal
Visited this cafe on my recent trip to Shimla. It's at a great location. The view from both the sides is very great. Luckily we got a view of the mall table.
Ordered a hummus and pita platter. It tasted good but not very great. The pita was slightly hard and falafels were over fried but they became chewy. The hummus and salad were good. They served their signature mango dip along which I didn't like that much but that could be because I am not very fond of dips/dishes made using mango.
Their waffles looked like a speciality but we were too full to try that.
Prny Chhetri
Located right opposite to the Town Hall is this cozy little cafe . Ideal place to enjoy coffee with the town view . Limited staff so the service is a little slow but loved the savoury chiken waffle , it is a must try . Much much better than the pasta that they offer .

Rating :

Food - 4
Ambiance - 4.5
Service - 3

Definitely 4 on value for money .

This is located near by mall. Visited here during trip to shimla.
They have good interiors and seating area.
We had white sauce pasta and waffle which was value for money, service was slow which can be better.

A perfect spot to enjoy a summer sunset with stomach filling food and drinks. Somehow your appetite never settles at this place, maybe the aura of the hills and the place never lets you rest. Highly recommended..

It's a place tuff to find, very small in terms of sitting but the Pancakes were good. It's worth your money and time and it would be a pleasure if end up getting the Window side table. :)

I had gone to have crepes. Loved the small hidden cafe just above Madame. We had ordered Nutella crepes. I liked it. The staff was polite and friendly.

If you want to try the best pizza in Shimla, go for this place. Whatever you try, it will never disappoint you. Great service, cozy place, perfect location. Try to have a table which is on rooftop.

A good place to have continental food . They also serve breakfast till noon .. Every thing there seemed to be very delicious. We had 2 pizzas - one veg and one non - veg , both were amazing . Coffee was fine . The experience was really good .. I enjoyed my visit there .

The ambience is good you'll love the time spent here but the food disappoints Everytime. This is a cozy place and a place where teens hangout. I feel the food overpriced and not too good
Sagar Bejwani
Awesome place in shimla , visited for the 1st time , a bit small bt its cosy ! Had pizzas , sandwiches & coffe ! Breakfast is not available all day ! This thing they should change! It should be available all day! Unlike rose cafe in delhi ! Staff is also good !
Live To Eat
We tried pasta with garlic bread, apple cinnamon waffles. They need to improve a lot in terms of food taste and service too which was slow- servers were not really active. Location is good otherwise, situated just opposite Town Hall, you get a beautiful view here.
Ayush Arsenal Sharma
The food as usual was good . Had my regular chicken onion pizza .
As there were 2 people we also ordered a paneer kathi roll , two cappuccino, chocolate waffle with maple syrup.
We had the best seating in the cafe right next to the 3rd floor window.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch with a beautiful view .
Worth a visit.
Kashish Vaish
It's a nice, quaint, small cafe on the Mall. With the eye catching yellow windows, this is easy to locate. You'd have to climb a narrow, steep and short stair case as it's on the first floor.
Their food preparations are good and so the coffee.
We tried Waffles, Baked vegetables, Pasta and Cappuccino here, everything was good.
However one glaring problem is, they have just one person waiting the tables, that guy has to run up and down from first floor to second and so on. This seems a lot of work for him and you'd have to wait a good amount of time to get your order.
If you can wait for your food, then this is a very good place to enjoy the food and the view. If you want something quick, you can avoid it.

Loved the place and the location.. The view outside was out of a travel book and the breakfast was delicious.. We tried the Israeli breakfast (hummas and shakshuka) for the first time and I must accept I am not a big fan ( no offense but it's pretty bland). However like mentioned earlier loved the English breakfast!

During my recent visit to Shimla, my wife suggested that we should visit Wake & Bake as she had heard a lot about it. Its very close to Mall Road. It's lucky that the cafe sign board is clearly visible, or else someone could be searching for it all day (pun intended) ;-)

The place is nice and cozy for someone who wants to just sit back and have a peaceful bite or a cup of good refreshing coffee.

Wake & Bake serves good stuff when it comes to pizzas, pastas, spaghetti, etc. They have a good list that once can choose from (veg and non veg).

The staff is courteous and helpful, which in itself is an additional plus point for the cafe. I recommend a visit to this place anytime someone is in Shimla :-)

I visited this cafe almost 5 years back but I still remember the place vividly. It is a very cute and compact joint which has been spread out on a two floors. Very minimal decor and good spread of food. I still remember that as we climbed up to the top, we heard some musicians playing their guitars. This cafe does seem like the place where artists visit to find inspiration....We chose to sit out in the small terrace. We ate some delicious pasta and pizza while enjoying the view of the Mall Road from up there. I would definitely go back again...

Beautiful little place right in the middle of Shimla’s mall road! You’ll miss it if you’re not looking for it so stop near the town hall and look upwards to the first floor of the rows of shops there.

The place is small but the taste is big! Like most small places, they take time to bring food to your table but trust me, the wait is worth every minute of your time.

The pizza was better than any other place in Shimla and the warm pancake just the remedy for the chilled winds of the city!

Make it a must visit place in your next visit.

Welcome welcome đŸ™đŸ» 😉

Me and my friend went there while exploring Shimla. Trust me, it is one the best cafes out there to have delicious food. Worth every penny and fulfilling, crepes, creme, walnut pie and cheese garlic bread made our tummies happy!
Would love to go again and try out their sweet crepes and waffles some day.

This is the most talked about cafe in whole of Shimla I guess. Located near the market area. It's got many floors because the guests don't stop coming. It's a good place to meet new people and learn about their experiences. Also good place to have yummy food while sipping on your coffee with the whole of Shimla in front of you through their window. Very cute place
The cafe is located on Mall road just opposite to police station. It's a small and cosy place with great ambience. I love sitting on the corner window table.
Ordered Apple Pie, Spinabutter Salad, Waffle (Banana, Nutella and Maple syrup) and my favourite Americano.
Apple Pie - Quite good
Spinabutter Salad - Average. A bit on spicier side which may not be liked by everyone. In starting, it tasted sweet due to corns & carrot but in the end leave your mouth a bit spicy.
Waffle - Great. Properly prepared waffle with proper crisp. Sufficient toppings so as to make it lovable.
Americano - Quite Decent

Ambience - Love the ambience. Must to go place especially for the ambience. One suggestion just look for window table
