Visited honey hut in January when I was in Shimla. Restaurant is situated at the mall road which is absolutely pleasant. All the items which they have Honey is present in that and that is of good quality. I was surprised seeing less ratings. Honey was provided separately so that you can add it as per your taste buds. Restaurant staff's behaviour was good and the food presentation was also great.I would definitely recommend Honey Hut. :)

A nice place on hill side with beautiful mountain view. I had Such a delicious Blueberry plum cake with Nicely balanced sweetness.
Shimla's Mall road continues to charm tourists and foodies with several options for meals,snacks and coffees.Among the new entries is Honey Hut which is a recent chain of Cafes specializing in Coffee with snacks.The smart coffee shop has Himalyan honey as its theme and you can prefer it over sugar in ur coffee.The cafe has a big range of food items to choose from but since we were already full we went for the yummy Blueberry muffins alongwith soothing cappuccino!!

There is ample sitting space inside and on the outside too. There is variety of drink and food items available as well as some beauty products too, all made of the richness of honey. 1) The staff was incredibly friendly and warm. That alone added an extra star to this review.
2) Food and coffee tasted great.
3) The ambience is lovely and offers a decent view of nearby hills. As the place has a lot of windows and natural light, i recommend visiting it during the day. Preferably morning or evening.
Slight critique: The Pizza had a lot of mayonnaise on top, I personally did not like it.
Recommended item: Honey Frappe

One of the best eateries and coffee cafe in Shimla. Situated on mall road in a quaint little corner with yellow interiors leaves you relaxed moment you walk inside. The staff is ever smiling and also allowed our pet as we sat outside and had our food. The trademark honey filled coffees and deserts are to die for. The pasta is my all time favourite here. I will surely recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Shimla’s mall road and wants to relax.
Probably the best cafe in mall road Shimla. They have a relatively small set up, aesthetically designed for indoor and outdoor seating.
As the name suggest they have variety of food items based on honey and they serve really good coffee. Irish coffee, iced cappuccino, apple pie are the must try ones.
They also offer small ra ge of gift items based on coffee concept like a souvenir. Courteous, well behaved staffs who are prompt into service. Apart from tourists lot of localities can also be seen inside which establishes their credibility and quality of food. It's pure veg cafe.
Honey Hut is situated at the center of the Mall road just alongside Khadi Emporium. They have consistently improved their quality and taste over the years and have fabulous service to date. I have tried many options from them but my absolute favourites are the Kashmiri Kahwa, Pineapple Upside Down cake, Blueberry Cheesecake, Banoffee Slice, Cappuccino and Mocha Frappe. The cake slices all taste heavenly and are always fresh. The coffees and teas are good and everything is served with a jar of honey on the table. The staff is sweet and very courteous. The space is quite small and limited tables are available. It's a perfect definition of a cute cozy cafe. Seating area is also available outside which gives a beautiful view of the mall road. The price range is average, similar to what you would pay at any other cafe / coffee shop.
Definitely try their in house lip balms which are incredibly moisturizing and made of beeswax.

A pretty café in an old Raj-era structure, the Honey Hut has beautiful teal walls with a white ceiling and wooden flooring. There's an outdoor seating area with cast-iron garden furniture, great for people-watching as the crowds stroll on the Mall Road, that runs past the café. I preferred sitting by the window inside with expensive views of the beautiful Shimla hills in the morning light. I ordered apple pie with icecream. Honey is offered gratis with every dish. The apple pie was fresh and delicious! The honey was like the icing on the cake! Absolutely genuine and organic, as befits a café that sources organic honey from a non-profit working to supplement farmer incomes through beekeeping. I couldn't resist ordering a Blueberry Crumble. I'd never seen one before. It was best not ordered. The cake doesn't have much of blueberries and is fluffy and eggless. I'd to lubricate it with honey to down it. I'd definitely recommend the apple pie with icecream, and the good value hot and cold drinks in this charming café with friendly, chatty staff.
