Review The Brew Estate Shimla - Shimla

Visited here in the afternoon after some roaming in the mall road. Ordered the fried platter which is delicious and a little too much(quantity)for 2. The fried dimsums are my fav pick from the rest. Ambiance is good, service is good, there's music, good food and comfy sitting. What else someone might need after a looonggg walk.

Good place to hangout with friends in the evening! Good atmosphere inside the Pub. Different types of seating options are available over there and smoking area is separated from the seating area that’s the good thing inside the pub. As because it’s a brewery so beer tasting option is available over there. As a beer lover, believe me all types of beers are too good in taste! Cocktails 🍹 also was good and strong! We ordered non-veg items and that was also good in taste! Live DJ music and dance floor is available but that plays till 11 PM. Much recommended to hang out with friends near Shimla Mall road and enjoy the Shimla nightlife!

After walking up to the Ridge a lovely cold beer is the universal panacea. Brewed on site and the view is amazing. The food portions are huge and tasty too. What a place.

First look of the microbrewery and pub is pretty good. It feels true to the style and is well kept. Tried the beers - 4 were available - Mango Ale, Cider, Red Ale and IPA. The cider is my favourite because it's super refreshing and if I am not wrong it had a touch of some spice which made it superior to the others I have tried here in Shimla. IPA was pretty decent and Red Ale was good as well. We ordered the Kuro Shrimps which were so well done. I was particularly amazed at the perfectly cooked shrimps. The coating is tempura maybe with some charcoal. Overall it isa great dish for prawn/shrimp lovers! Our server - Hansraj did a fantastic job and host - Neha made us feel very comfortable here. If you come to Shimla and are a craft beer lover, this should be on your list

We had a few beer and old monk shots. The ambience is overall good. The price is also moderate for 2 person. The interior is really huge. Will definitely visit this place if i ever go to shimla.

Lunch for a celebration. We are occasional to regular clients for the ambience, great food and beer and live Deejay evenings which are a lot of fun, no matter what your age! I always appreciate and enjoy the ambience and admire the polite and courteous staff, though the washrooms are sadly AS USUAL in quite a pathetic condition as noted on many occasions. Beats me why the management cannot maintain cleanliness, especially when the rest overall is so nice! Another point, it may be legally permissible to vape indoors, but some people are badly allergic to it, especially in a closed indoor environment, besides the fact that the chemicals in it are perhaps more harmful than the smoking that takes place in the smoking section and watching staff members group around to take long drags and exhale cloying white smoke all around isn't exactly an encouraging sight in a restaurant meant for families, kids, seniors etc. in my point of view! A bit of a fall in style and professionalism... Well, besides that, pretty good food and service in general, and we ordered vegetarian food: Dum Aloo, an excellent lentil/dal and a cottage cheese/paneer dish besides some snacks and cocktails which were all excellent. The main dishes arrive complete with rice, breads, nans, missi rotis etc. The team in the kitchen is good and the food is a reflection. Then, we made the mistake of ordering dessert, after much deliberation we settled on a creamy Apricot dessert, which was rather disappointing, even though it looked delicious and the first layer did actually contain, hold your breath, THREE slivers of Apricot! The rest was basically a creamy pudding with lots and lots and lots of BREAD. Perhaps it should be called Creamy BREAD SLICES dessert with a hint of apricot instead, otherwise it is misleading. You don't get what you order or expect in this particular case. We fished and fished inside the bowl, but there was loads of cream and bread and NO apricots, except for the garnish! Communicated to the sweet chef, hoping they will change the name or provide what's listed. So, the end note was disappointing and end notes are extremely important in customer satisfaction and loyalty.

One of the best place to chill and party in Shimla. The vibe, the ambience, the service, the food and the music, everything was amazing. We ordered LIT and head banger in the drinks and in the food we ordered, chicken and mushroom bruschetta. We really liked the quanity and quality of food here. You get the best view of shimla as well while having your food here in the night. The DJ was also playing good songs which was making people dance off their feet. It is right after the Church and after chilling here, anyone go to walk on the ridge in the night. I ll always recommend this place if you are staying in Shimla and if you like party vibes.

We visited the restaurant on the eve of holi. There was a hair in the naan which we reported to the management. They had no response except replacing the piece of naan. They were so stubborn and adamant on the point that this piece of hair can not come in their naan. Ultimately, we left the entire main course and paid the bill and left. Management was shameless in accepting it. They don't know what sector they are operating in - HOSPITALITY

A place to spoil yourself a little with moderate sins amid the heavens of Shimla hills!

The selection of beers was on point. We tried the taster and choose a German Lager and the cider. Very nicely done. <br/>The food was another thing altogether. We ordered a meat pizza, the chicken pahari and some naan. Maybe in a bar it doesn’t matter but when you charge 425 for a meat pizza it better be good. The pepperoni was smelly like it was old or of a poor quality. The chicken on the pizza was similar. The Pahari chicken was too garlicky and the naan was undercooked. A tad disappointed.

Must try their fresh beers if you are in Shimla and a beer fan. Good place for partying. Has nice music and ambience. Service was a bit slow. However food was very spicy.

The service was very prompt and helpful. The food was tasted authentic to the dish style and portions are good to share for four people as nibblers. The ambience is warm and pub like - the music may be a turnoff as the DJ and setting don't really match but you could luck out with a good song or two. The smoking room is accessible and has a great view in the night.

Tired of walking on Mall Road in Shimla? Perfect stop by for some nice chilled craft beers. To start with the interiors are very modern pub style with ample space and a long bar counter. We chose to sit on the high tables. The micro brewery was right behind us. Since they are all craft beers, they have a beer sampler which is awesome as we won’t generally know how each one tastes on the first time. I ordered the German fling half ltr mug.. the beer was great! Enjoyed our visit and totally recommended for those who like craft beers!!

Great Hospitality by Rajiv. Best asset to any company. In short good food, best drink's. Must visit.

Went to the brew estate during lunch! The place was quite empty but still had a great music. We decided to sit in balcony as it was so lovely to have fresh air and a lil bit of sunshine on such a chilly day. We ordered an Apple cider beer and it was the best beer we have ever tried. In fact, they gave us a couple of options to try and choose and all of them were so good that we couldn’t even decide easily. In the food we ordered cheesy momos as soon as we were seated and then ordered lamb bolognese and tingmu with veg stew. Pasta came within 20 minutes but rest of the order took almost 40 minutes to reach my table. I was disappointed because of delay but i must say that both items were worth waiting. I thought cheesy momos will have cheese stuffed inside but it was beyond my expectation. It came on a sizzler plate with cheese sauce on top. The skin was also super fresh and thin. Tingmu was also great. I really have no words to describe how fresh and delicious it was. The stew needed some improvement though. Altogether, it was a great experience. Giving 04 stars because the food was delayed and we really had to wait for long.

Everything here is just perfect . Never thought that there could be a place like this .i have a tiny suggestion though , this type of place should be in Delhi. The Brew Estate at the Ritz Cinema complex in Shimla came as a pleasant surprise - a modern restopub in the heart of the Queen of the Hills, next to some of its most traditional landmarks. It’s open and airy, much larger than most Shimla restaurants, and the food is decent. The only complaint we had was that they seemed to have a very limited music collection - one song played over and over again in an interminable loop!
