Review Prem Chat Shop - Shimla

An old shop since before independence, though name says "Chaat" but they are more famous for Chhole Bhature. Location says middle bazaar but it's just 10 step down from Mall road, near Gaitty theatre, easy to come from Mall road,if coming from middle bazar have to negotiate stairs. Ambience is very basic, some may think about hygine too,but for good food have to negotiate these factors. Rates are too reasonable, won't find anything like this at a super touristy area of Mall road,rs 40 for every items in their menu. I tried their famous Chhole Bhature and was good.

Had Chole Bhature here. The quantity served in one plate is quite less for someone who wants to get a good amount of chole with every bite of bhatura. So invariably you will have to order another half plate or so to make up for the deficiency in your main order. One interesting fact was the way bhature were made fluffy but as thin as skin of potato.Good on pocket.Grab a plate and burn off those extra calories by walking on beautiful roads of shimla.
