"I had the most delightful experience exploring the Tibetan market in Shimla. This vibrant marketplace offers a rich tapestry of Tibetan culture and craftsmanship. The first thing that struck me was the warm hospitality of the local shopkeepers, who were more than willing to share stories about their products. The market is a treasure trove of handcrafted goods, from colorful prayer flags and intricately woven carpets to exquisite jewelry and Tibetan artwork. The quality of these items is exceptional, and it's evident that artisans pour their heart and soul into their creations. As I strolled through the market's narrow lanes, the aroma of freshly cooked momos and thukpa filled the air, making it impossible to resist trying some of the most delicious Tibetan cuisine. Whether you're a food enthusiast or a shopaholic, this market has something for everyone. What impressed me most was the authenticity and diversity of the goods available. Whether you're looking for souvenirs or unique gifts, the Tibetan market in Shimla won't disappoint. It's a cultural gem that shouldn't be missed during your visit to this beautiful hill station. I'll cherish the memories and the beautiful items I bought from here for a lifetime!"

It was centre of attraction for locals as well Tourists. Very nice variety of clothes with reasonable prices was it’s attraction. And getting clothes with lots of bargaining was it’s keyword. Now it has been shifted from Rivoli road to MC Building near lift . But is always missed here

Nice market to shop and for street food or dine in. You will get cheap stuff comparing to cities like chandigarh. Its best if you buy wood items, as its genuine by quality and at reasonable price. Also do think of quotes, which you can ask the vendors to write on piece of wood, there and then. Very good scenery and quotes writer, who do the job in minutes. I hope this review helps you.

A really good market where you can find good stuff for a very reasonable rate. However, do keep in mind that the market is shifted to Aajivika Bhawan.

You will definitely get great quality cloths from this market. Friendly people and tons of choices to make. My personal favorite shop is shop number 71and 73. They have the best collection in the town and the price is reasonable. You should chek out. Highly highly recommended. 👍👍👍

It's a fantastic market, run by Tibetans and locals alike; if you want to buy stylish, trendy clothes, here is the place to go; prices are moderate, and if you have good bargaining skills, you might be able to save some money for extra shopping.

First off all, this place has shifted to Aajivika bhawan, so don't follow Google maps like me and end up walking so much in vain. If you want to visit this place, the route I took was to visit the government lift, they'll charge Rs.10, go down..walk 50m.. you'll see another life, take that too and go to the ground floor. From there take a Right and you'll see a newly erected building with buddist incantations all over, you'll know that it's a Tibetan mall, it's under construction but the 3rd and 4th floors is the Tibetan market. We found nice apparels there, worth checking out. It's a newly built Local Shopping Complex having 2 lower Floors for Bakers. 2 Floors for Tibbetian Market. 2 Floors for general shops. All floors will be accessible with 2 Lifts - they are still under construction. Top Floor of Building is accessible by car

You can find all kinds of clothes and footwear here. The quality equals to that of the branded stuff. The prices are negotiable and the people are lovely. Majority of them are actual Tibetan people. 'Tibti Market', as it is called locally, is a popular place in Shimla to buy decent clothes at affordable prices.
