Review Cafe Argyle House - Shimla

The cafe looks beautiful and the location of this cafe is even more interesting! It’s on the mall road, just near the Lift and is easily reachable by walking. The interiors are colorful and catchy, the food and ambience both are as good as they should be. The service is a bit slow but the quality of the food is nice (it’s fresh and tasty) and the staff is courteous. I tried their Paneer pizza and Virgin Mojito and I loved both.

The Café Argyle will beat a beauty contest hands down with enough to spare. It is easily Shimla's prettiest café and it's advantageous location on the Upper Mall Road, gives it easy accessibility to the throngs of tourists parading on the scenic Mall. There're real potted flowers at the entrance of this beauty in an old Raj-era building. Accessed by pretty steps in blue and white, the wood and concrete structure has been tastefully designed in bright teal and yellow with magenta overhead lamps that shine bright, warm colours even during the day. The design, colours and the spick and span interiors is what drew me inside. Since it was breakfast time, I looked at the breakfast menu, which is sadly not designed for health-conscious patrons. There were parathas, pancackes, eggs to order and toast, but only with white bread. No mention of oats or muesli. I ordered the old, reliable cappuccino, and it did not disappoint. The Argyle has probably the best beans in town. The cappuccino is the best I've had in Shimla and was absolutely refreshing, hot and rich in flavour. The prices match coffees in the bigger metros. I enjoyed people-watching over coffee, from my seat overlooking the bustling Mall Road outside. It's a café great for socializing and you may want to have lunch or dinner here, if you can find a seat during the season. The design and colours of this beauty will linger long after I bid adieu to Shimla.

A warm cafe at Mall road. I had ordered the red sauce pasta, it turned out to be so delicious, creamy and cheesy. The pasta was served in a big bowl which can easily serve 3 people. The ambience is quite cool with some music playing in the background.

Had a good experience. We had - Margherita Pizza, Cheesy fries, Veg pasta with white sauce, and a drink ( Unicorn drink). I loved the unicorn drink. I feel they really need to work on their menu because there are not many options for people who really want to try something new. Other than that everything is fine.

A must visit place, excellent food is an understatement it's outstanding, awesome preparations, must try are Fully Loaded Pizza and Penny Pasta in red sauce. Prices are slightly on the higher side.

It is one of the best cafes of Shimla It is located on mall road,when you get out of the lift it's just opposite. I recommend Mix Sauce pasta and their coca cola it's something different it was like a fountain and fizzy mix. Good place to chill and Beautiful Ambience.

It's quite good located in a entrance of the mall road Shimla., food are good., tried there chicken club sandwich and tomato soup but they do not have much varieties of short eats

As you come up from the lift you will find this amazing cafe just in front of you. The food is good specially the snacks with one of the best shakes in shimla.Staff is good and the place was neat and clean with a good ambience. Must try is hot chocolate, banana shake and daal makhani.I am pretty sure other food items are good too. Highly recommended place for all the shimla visitors.

The place is hygienic and serves good quality food.✅👍🏻The name itself caught our attention, and we entered this Cafe ! The taste of everything we ordered from pasta to pizza 🍕🍝 and coffee ☕ was so tasty and delicious , prepared with such finest. The cafe is taking care of all safety management during this covid time 💯✅ I would give 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 to this cafe and definitely recommend this cafe for breakfast, snacks and brunch, especially the hot beverages it serves. Good cafe on mall road, right infront of the great lift of shimla.Staff was polite and even offered milk for my crying daughter. F&B options was limited, they can utilize this location and can offer more cafe type food options. Overall - 👍

A nice restaurant on one end of the Mall Road. Good place to snack up before or after end of your walk on the Mall Road. Most of the preparations are excellent. Don't forget to try out their crispy chicken wings. Restaurant has a nice ambience and laid back feel. Have a quick bite or a prolonged session with a nice coffee at the end. Beautiful ambience and we ordered masala chai, i must say it was amazing! They also have books to read while you enjoy food. Overall a beautiful place to chill with friends and relax

Cappuccino Hazelnut is amazing and food quality is premium. Although the cost is high but still a value for money .The interior is also great.
